Noble Six: Thanks.

MAB86: Indeed it will be. He's always shifty. Yes, Steam can cause a bit of a ruckus. Sheriff has been at that angle sometime before. Sheriff confronting Peter was fun to write.

The Story's Shadow: It's nice for them to have peace once in a while. Drifter knew the type man Chameleon was, he just didn't expect to turn on him.

Guest: Sorry for taking so long, it took a bit to write this down.

The Translucent

Currently, the spiders were facing a particular problem with the patrons of the bar as they were currently huddled in a circle for defence in case any of the criminals tried anything against them.

"So, is there any reason why these guys are suddenly ganging up on us?" Spider-Gwen asked as she kept herself in a defensive position to be ready for anything. "Or why are our faces all over the screens?"

"Maybe we're just popular in the multiverse?" Hobbie suggested.

"Yeah, but probably for the right reasons." Sheriff said as he kept his hands on his revolvers, ready to pull them out and start shooting.

"How the hell could this have happened!?" Drifter thought to himself with a hardened scowl under his mask. "I didn't even provoke Dimitri in any way. So why the hell did he turn on me!?"

"So did anyone do anything to cause this?" Spidey asked. "Insult their hygiene or something or mock their clothing?"

"Well I did humiliate a moron a few minutes ago." Steam causally states, causing all the spiders to give incredulous looks at Steam.

"What?" Drifter said with a hardened glare.

"Yeah, some guy came up to me, gloated like a drunk idiot and threatened me so I spat in his drink, insulted him and bashed his head on a bar and humiliated him in front of his friends." Steam recounted.

The Spiders were quiet at this as they continued to stare at Steam in shock.

"WHY!?" Spider-Man asked loudly.

"He had it coming." Steam stated causally, indifferent about the whole incident.

"Of course he did." Sheriff said sarcastically, still holding his revolver up.

"Despite Steam's actions." Drifter said with a slightly angered tone to the Steampunk spider, to which Steam scoffed at. "I doubt it's the reason why we're being targeted."

"Okay, so do we know why that is?" Gwen asked, a little intimidated as she never had to deal with an entire room filled with thugs out to get her.

Drifter looked around the area and saw that there wasn't a way out. He could just use his transporter and just get out of there but he was sure that Dimitri would pull something to prevent him from leaving. He sighed and spoke his answer to Gwen and the others.

"We're gonna have to fight our way out," Drifter stated.

The western spider then turned to Drifter with an unsure look. "That doesn't seem like the best of plans." Sheriff said.

"It's not even a plan in general!" Gwen commented.

"Well right now it's the only one we have right now." Drifter said as he got into a fighting position.

"I'm all for it." Steam said as he activated his talons. "Besides, they're just drunk morons. What harm could they do?"

"Well considering that they are all from different universes, I'd say they can do a lot of harm due to their…" Spider-Drone started to explain.

"No one cares Drone." Steam said, annoyed by the machine talking.

"I was merely…" Drone was about to say until one of the patrons yelled out.

"GET'EM!" One of them yelled out as he pointed at them, promoting all of the patrons to charge forward at the group of spiders.

"Okay, I guess we're doing this now!" Gwen exclaims as she and the rest of the spiders fought off against the thugs and criminals once they started to charge towards them, managing to hold their position still.

The Spiders had managed to hold their position well as they held their own against the patrons that were fighting them. The range of the people fighting were either drunk and lowly criminals or highly trained fighters.

The spiders were in a circle so as not to let any of the patrons get in. But Drifter soon noticed that there was an increase of goons coming. He knew they wouldn't be able to keep this up for much longer.

As he was punching a man in the face, he decided a different course of action would be better suited to handle these people.

"Everyone! Scatter!" Drifter yelled out loud. "If we're divided, then we stand a better chance in beating them."

"Should we stick together?" Gwen asked.

"Considering that they will soon disperse our circle, I believe Drifter is right in this new course of action." Spider-Drone commented.

"Works good for me!" Steam yelled out, being the first one to jump out of the circle and away from the spiders to go fight on his own.

"Well that was just gonna happen regardless." Sheriff stated as he too jumped away to fight on his own.

The rest of the Spiders followed suit, splitting off from the circle to go and fight off the patrons in their own way. The only ones left were Spider-Man and Drifter. "Is this really a good idea, Drifter?" Spider-Man asked as he and Drifter fought off against the large crowd.

"Do you have a better idea?" Drifter asked as he threw a few smoke bombs at the crowd.

"Honestly, I was hoping I could wing it like I always do." Spidey while causing one man to a whole group of criminals. "It always seems to work like that."

"And when it doesn't?" Drifter asked, causing Spidey to think for a moment.

"Okay, you got me there."

"Thought so." Drifter said, causally punching a man behind him without even looking. "Now move it!" Drifter ordered as he and Spider-Man leaped up in the air and went in opposite directions to handle the massive crowd.

"No need to be a grouch about it," Spidey muttered to himself as he swung throughout the club. "I sure hope I don't turn into him when I'm older"

The Ultimate Spider-Man swung away from Drifter and landed on the ground as he was surrounded by just a couple of thugs, far less then there were before but still an impressive number.

"Now then guys, we can do this in two different directions" Spidey spoke to the thugs. "Option one: you make the smart choice and not get your butt kicked." Spidey offered.

"Option two: You go ahead and try to beat me up but that'll end with you guys either taped up on the ceiling or stuck to the ground." Spider-Man explained. "So how about you guys break the norm and just not attack me and you get to leave without any bodily harm."

"Sounds good?" Spider-Man asked as the criminals looked at each other in response before turning back to the web head.

"KILL HIM!" The man in front yelled out as he and his buddies charged towards Spider-Man, much to his disappointment.

He sighed. "Yeah, should have seen this coming." Spider-Man. He then jumped up in the air as the guy in front went to hit him in the head with a pipe.

Spidey then fired a web line at the pipe and swung it up in the air. "Here you go!" Spidey remarked as he threw the pipe back at the man, effectively knocking him out with a bruise on his forehead.

He landed behind the goons and fired two web lines at the nearest thugs. He then pulled the webs together, causing the two patrons to crash into each other.

"Y'know I may of put the whole "Keep your enemies closer" angle a little too far." Spidey jokes. He then turned the last man there. "What do you think?"

"I think you're dead!" The man yelled as he pulled out a gun and proceeded to shoot at Spidey. But the web head just dodged the bullets while still standing in one place.

"And I think you should have better manners." Spidey said like a disapproving parent. He then fired a single web shot at the man's gun as it flew off his hand.

He then fired a few web shots at the last man, encasing him in a web cocoon and fell to the ground. "Hopefully, you'll feel a lot better after you have your nap." Spidey jokes.

Drifter in the meantime was currently fighting off against his own group of thugs that thought that they stood a chance against the Veteran Spider. They were obviously wrong about this. Drifter had spent a long time fighting goons like these, so to him, this was merely a chore.

But this did very little to improve his mood as he was still pissed off about being betrayed by The Chameleon by sicking his men onto him and the rest of the spiders.

"How the hell could this have happened!?" Drifter thought to himself as he leaned back as to avoid being punched by a sudden patron, causing Drifter to grab him by the arm and throw him over his shoulder.

"He got what he wanted and he has the nerve to turn on me!" Drifter angrily thought as he punched a goon in the face and tossed him towards a group of three in his direction.

"When I'm done here, I'm going to go back to his office and pay him a visit." Drifter thought as he went to go someplace else until he was cornered by another group of patrons.

"No so fast, trench coat!" The guy in front threatened. "You're gonna get us a mint when we bring your ass to the boss!"

"And we'll be rich!" The second one said in a dumb brute voice.

Drifter groaned in annoyance at this notion. Instead of taking them head on in a three on one fight, which he would've won either way, he decided to go for a different option in handling these chumps.

He grabbed a grenade from his belt and hurled it towards the group. The guy in front managed to grab it before it could hit the ground.

"Ha! Nice try punk!" The man laughed. He then pulled his arm back to throw it back at Drifter. "Here's a taste of your own medici-HMPH!" The grenade then went off in his hand, which spewed out a massive web around him and his buddies in a mass of web.

They were a hit by a good old web grenade. He may not be Spider-Man anymore, but he wasn't gonna let good webbing go to waste.

"Now then, let's see who else wants to be a punching bag" Drifter thought as he moved along from this site of the club.

As this was happening, Sheriff Spider was currently on the defensive as he kept his distance and took down any goons by using his revolvers.

"Well this brings out memories!" Sheriff said out loud as he kept his distance and dealt with the patrons by simply using his revolvers to shoot them to the ground. "And here I thought I wouldn't be able to do another bar room brawl in my life." Sheriff said with a nostalgic tone.

He took a few steps back once the thugs started to get more and more gathered but they were stealing being shot down by the wild west spider. Even when a few thugs got too close, the Sheriff would just bash them away with the butt of his revolver.

Sheriff-Spider then managed to make his way towards the bar, where the bartender was hiding behind the counter so as to not get involved in this mayhem.

"You doing okay there, pal?" Sheriff asked while he still shot down the patrons.

"More or less." The man uttered nervously, trying his best to keep his head down and away from the fighting. "I just hope that none of them cause too much of a mess. I really need this job after."

"Don't worry about that, friend." Sheriff-Spider said with assurance as he casually shot down a man running right at him. "I'll get this done and over in a minute."

"How can you be so sure?" The bartender asked in a panicked voice.

"Trust me, friend" the Sheriff assured as he quickly pulled out his Web-Rifle and began shooting at all the goons in front of him at a rapid fire pace. The shots began to encase them in web cocoons as they fell to the ground. "This ain't my first brawl in a bar, club, whatever you call it." Sheriff said with a smirk as he continued to combat the rest of the men after him.

Steam in the meantime was currently brawling against the patrons who decided to go after him. This would be their mistake as Steam was far more powerful than they could imagine as they were either beaten to a paste or tossed to the other side of the room.

"Is that you got!?" Steam yelled out as he tossed an unfortunate goon into a group of people running at him. "I expected more! Well not really cause all I have to fight is a bunch of poor, sorry drunk idiots!"

This enraged the group of patrons as they glared at the Steam-Spider. "I'LL SHOW YOU WHOSE-!" One of the men screamed into his was stuck in the chest by a beam from one of Steam's talons, spending the poor man flying away.

"Completely out of their element? Yeah, you sure did." Steam mocked, his back facing them instead of his front.

He turned around and managed to take down two guys at once by dodging their blows and punching them both in the gut. Then to finish it off, he grabbed both of their faces and slammed them down on a nearby table, destroying the table in the process.

"I've dealt with bigger threats when I was a kid!" Steam taunted to the downed men. He then looked around the place, finding that he had beaten everyone that came after him. "Come on! Someone give me a real challenge!" Steam yelled out.

"I doubt that's the case" Steam thought to himself. "I'm either gonna be dealing with elite fighters or a bunch of dumbasses looking to beat a concussion."

"THERE HE IS!" A voice yelled out to Steam-Spider, gaining his attention. He turned behind him and to his utter annoyance, he was facing off against that moron who called himself the Beetle, wearing a bug-like helmet on his head. This time he had a bigger crew with him.

"Dumbasses it is then…" Steam muttered, clearly unimpressed.

"You're gonna pay for making a fool out of me!" The Beetle snarled at Steam, his crewing backing him up.

"Oh there's no need." Steam said, unintimidated by the threat. "I'd happily do it for free." Steam insulted as he folded his arms, smirking at the angry Beetle.

"Oh! You think you're funny!?" The Beetle snarled as he primed his gauntlet blasters.

Steams shrugged in response. "Well, I don't know about me, but I know you certainly make me laugh."

The beetle gritted his teeth at the insult and pointed his gauntlet blasters at Steam, charged up and ready to fire. "Let's see how freaking smart you are when your face is filled with holes."

Steam was still unintimidated by this man, seeing him nothing more but a joke. "Yeah, like that's gonna happen."

"It is!" The man yelled as he pointed his arm at Steam, his blaster powering up, ready to fire at the gaslight spider. "Get ready for extreme…" The man was about to finish.

Steam's talon then fired a blast tight into the barrel of the Beetle's gauntlet, causing the gauntlet to explode in response, sending the man to the ground, withering in pain as he held his damaged hand. "AAAAAARGH!" The Beetle screamed in pain as his friends and goonies watched on in shock.

"Does anyone else wanna be next?" Steam asked, causing all of the people in that group to run away from the Steam Spider.

He scoffed at this. As he walked away from the injured Beetle. "Idiots." Steam remarked as he went off to find the next fight.

Spider-Punk in the meantime was currently having fun fighting against the patrons that were now after him and the rest of the spiders. It reminded him of times when he and his friends would often get in trouble in clubs like these and would often lead up to a bar fight.

"Man this is fun!" Punk exclaimed as he grabbed a chair by the leg and smashed it onto a guy that was about to stab him, knocking him to the ground. "And here I thought we wouldn't have a good time here!"

He then saw three guys running towards him. He smirked to himself and looked down to a table in front of him. He kicked it up in the air and pulled it back down with his web shooters and slammed it down onto the goons running towards him.

"Ha!" Punk laughed. "I am loving this so far." Punk said to himself as he continued to fight the rest of the goons in his way.

Spider-Drone in the meantime was currently dealing with his own problems with the patrons. But he was on the defensive then the offensive. Plus, he wasn't that keen on fighting to begin with.

"Come on you rust bucket!" A man yelled as he whacked the robot with a club with little to no effect in hurting Drone. "Fight back or something!"

"I do not wish to harm anyone as I do not think it will solve anything..." Drone said. He was met with a bottle to the face, which did nothing to him as the goons around him tried to take him down but to no avail.

"Take him down!" A goon said as he tried to take the bot down.

"Either from being intoxicated or simply making very poor choices that do not benefit you in any way." Drone advised, being met with weak punches.

"But I would highly advise against…" Drone was about to say until a bottle was thrown at his face.

"I would highly…" Drone tried to say again but a chair was smashed against his face.

"I would…" Drone tried to say but was met with a baton to the face which immediately broke.

"I…" Drone tried to say once more but was shot in the face. Luckily for him, he was made of a very strong metal that just destroyed the bullet on impact.

Spider-Drone then let out a sigh, clearly he wasn't getting to these patrons so now he had to deal with them the hard way.

"Very well…" Drone said. "I had hoped that we would settle this peacefully…" Drone said as a thug tried to hit him with a bat but was grabbed by the face by Drone.

"But I see that is no longer an option you wish to take anymore." Drone said in a serious tone as he lifted the man up in the air and just tossed him away, but not before encasing the man in a web cocoon.

His hands then turned into short downed cannons and proceeded to fire balls of webs at his opponents, taking them down one by one with ease, much to the shock of the patrons who now regretted fighting the mechanical spider.

And finally Gwen was currently dealing with her own problems with the patrons as the ones she was fighting were far more skilled in fighting, keeping herself on guard against these foes.

"Woah! Easy buddy!" Gwen exclaimed as she leaped out of the way from an oncoming punch from a random guy. "I know that it may be a happy hour but that doesn't mean you get to punch me!" Gwen joked as she shot a web at the man's hand and yanked it so that he would punch himself.

"Well, I mean try to hit me." Gwen corrected. "'Cause let's be honest, you're not trying your best all that well." Gwen quipped as she leaped around the place, dodging each blow and swipe that came in her direction.

Spider-Gwen spider sense then went off, she turned to see a guy with a sword coming right for her. She luckily dodged before the man could cut her into pieces and continued to dodge each swipe that came from the man's blade.

"A sword?" Gwen questions while dodging. "Who brings a sword into a nightclub!?" Gwen asked. "I mean, you're just begging for a fight if you're bringing that thing in." Gwen comments. "Wait, how did you bring that in? Did the bouncers let you?" Gwen asked as she then slid down under the man and stood behind him, much to his shock.

"I mean the bouncer wouldn't let us in because of our outfits, but you have a freakin sword on you and he lets you in?" Gwen points out as the man glares at her and charges at her in the hopes of stabbing her in the gut.

But Gwen fires a simple web shot at his face, blind him as Gwen moves away from the man's path as he runs straight into a wall, falling to the ground as Gwen webbed him down.

"Seems unfair if you ask me." Gwen quipped to the drowned man. She then decided it would be best if she weren't alone. She went off to find one of the spiders to see if they needed a hand.

As the spiders were fighting off against all of the patrons and criminals of the nightclub and succeeding against their foes, Chameleon and his men were watching from their position in his office, which had a window to see what was happening down there.

"Man, they're really taking those guys out." One guard said in wide eyed surprise at the spiders sheer skill and ability against everyone that stood against them.

"I know." His buddy said in agreement as they continued to watch the sight below.

Chameleon on the other hand was less than impressed and was rather annoyed. He thought that with the promise of money, these patrons would be able to overwhelm these spiders and bring them to him.

But instead, these spiders proved that they indeed were more than effective when handling these people. The sight of seeing multiple versions of his most hated foe made him scowl. It was clear that these men wouldn't do the trick. So he would have to bring in the big gun for this occasion.

"Call in Marko." Chameleon coldly ordered, causing the other guards to reel back in shock over that name.

"M-Marko?!" One of them exclaimed. "But boss…!" The man weakly pleaded.

Chameleon snapped his head towards the man and had an angered look. "You heard me! Send in Marko, NOW!" Chameleon yelled, promoting the guards to shakily nod their heads in response.

"Y-Yes sir!" The man said as he and his buddy ran out to bring in this "Marko" person.

Chameleon looked at the spiders as they were nearly finished with their fight. Chameleon looked down at his finished drink and placed it down, deciding that he should at least meet with the spiders and…congratulate them.

Back with the spiders, they had managed to come together again once the club's patrons were beaten and only a few remained in the club, the rest were either knocked out or left, not wanting to be beaten by the Multiversal Arachnids.

Drifter was the one to end things as he gave a powerful punch to the last goon in front of him, sending the man a few feet away from him and the rest of the spiders.

The Spiders stopped for a breather once they saw that there were no more people to fight them, with most of them on the floor, beaten and knocked out.

"Is that all of them?" Spider-Man breathed out, hoping that was the end of it.

Just then, a random thug with a pool cue came running at them, yelling like a mad man as he held the cue like a sword. But he was quickly taken down by Sheriff-Spider who fired a few web shots at the man, incapacitating him to the ground.

"It is now." Sheriff-Spider stated, still holding up his revolver.

"Well…that was fun." Spidey commented with sarcasm in his voice. "Makes me wonder why this place has such a reputation."

"Well it wasn't entertaining." Steam commented as his talons powered down.

"Maybe for you." Gwen remarked. "For the rest of us, it was quite the brawl."

Drifter on the other hand was wondering how and why this just suddenly happened to them. But he didn't have the time to think about that.

Suddenly, the sound of someone slowly clapping could be heard. The spiders looked around the for person who was clapping until they looked up to see the Chameleon from behind a railing, looking down on them with an amused smirk on his face.

"Well done!" Dimitri chuckled. "I must say, I am very impressed by your efforts." Dmitri commented as he stopped clapping and leaned against the railing. "It's nice to see that you're not too sloppy, Drifter. That goes for all of you as well." Dimitri said to the rest of the spiders.

"Wait…is that…The Chameleon!?" Sheriff said, his eyes widened in surprise at seeing the face changer again.

"Who?" Gwen asked as she didn't know who this man was.

"Dmitri Smerdyakov. The Chameleon." Drone started to inform. "Causal member of the Sinister Six with the ability to impersonate anyone he chooses."

"And often pain in the ass." Sheriff said with a serious look towards the club owner.

"Ah," Chameleon said with a hand to his chest. "It's so nice to see that I am remembered in other universes." The impersonator smiled.

Drifter was not however happy with this at all and he walked forwards in front of the group. "Dimitri, what the hell do you think you're playing at sending your men at us?!" Drifter demanded at the club owner who looked relaxed then tense.

"I know, I know." Dmitri said. "We had a deal and I appreciate the Vibranium you got me. But I'm afraid that payment isn't going to be enough for me." Dimitri said. "No, I'm afraid that you and the rest of your spiders are more valuable than that."

"Wait…" Sheriff then turned to Drifter with an incredulous and serious look under his bandana. "You made a deal with The Chameleon?"

Drifter saw the look he was given by his Wild West counterpart and it wasn't a good look to say the least. Drifter ignored it and turned back to Chameleon. "So you decided to send the guys here to kill us? Is that it!?" Drifter said with an angry look under his mask.

Dimitri shook his head in response to that question. "Of course not! Besides, I doubt Dark Web would want his prisoners dead before he could have the chance to torture them to his will" Chameleon said, making the spiders look at each other in response.

"Are you saying that you work for him?" Spider-Gwen asked.

"By no means, little girl" Dmitri answered, making Gwen at the man for the insulting remark he gave. "But I'd figured that the Dark Web is a powerful source of income." Dimitri said. "If I handed all of you to him, then he could pay me for my generous service."

Drifter just continued to glare at the man for both his betrayal and cockiness. "You're a fool if you think the Dark Web will give you a damn thing if you try to bring us in." Drifter said to the shape changer.

"What? And you think you and the rest of your little spiders stand a chance against him?" Dimitri scoffed in amusement. "I've heard the stories my customers tell. About how every single spider that ever went up against him ended up as a corpse." Dimitri. "Be realistic, Drifter, all you're doing is upping his kill count then gathering an army to stop him." Dimitri said. "Trust me, it's better this way then to pointlessly fight a lost cause."

Steam-Spider then spoke up to the club owner. "Yeah, well it looks like that your best wasn't enough to beat anyone." Steam said as he gestured to the downed men in the club. "So unless you're willing to give it a go yourself, it looks like the only one who's gonna end up as a corpse, is you." Steam said in a threatening tone as he cracked his knuckles.

Dimitri laughed in response to Steam's threat. "Oh my, no." Dmitri chuckled. "I don't dirty my hands anymore. I leave that to my bouncer." Dmitri said.

Steam gave a mocking grin at this and chuckled to himself. "Really, that dumbass from before? Like he's much of a threat."

Dmitri just smiled at the gaslight spider for his naivety. "No. Not him...I mean my unstoppable bouncer."

The Spiders were confused by this. What did he mean by unstoppable. But before anyone could ask the club owner what he meant by that, all of the arachnid's spider senses went off at once, warning them of an incoming threat.

"Move!" Drifter yelled out, promoting all of the spiders to jump out of the spot as all of a sudden, the wall near them suddenly exploded before them.

The spiders managed to get a few feet away from the sight as they turned to see that the place they were just standing on was currently engulfed in smoke.

"So, he tried to kill by an explosion?" Punk asked. "Seems a bit of a weak way of trying to kill us if you ask me." Spider-Punk said.

"I could fix that for ya…" A gruff and intimidating voice called out to the spiders, much to their shock as it didn't come from Chameleon. Instead, it came from the smoke. And in that cloud was a large figure standing in the middle.

"It looks like you chumps could use a little stomping on ya…" The figure said as he pounded his fists together.

Drifter's eyes widened as he heard the sound of that voice, knowing he had heard it before. As did Sheriff and Spider-Man

The cloud was finally gone as the man in the smoke was revealed before the spiders. He was wearing black armour and with a dome-like helmet. This man was grinning at the spiders as he was revealed before them.

"Juggernaut…" Drifter, Sheriff and Spider-Man said simultaneously. As it was indeed the Unstoppable Juggernaut, the Bouncer of the Translucent.

The Juggernaut set his sights on the spiders and grinned. "Well, well, well. Look at what we got here!" Juggernaut said as he stomped towards the spiders. "If it ain't my old friend, Spider-Man!" Juggernaut taunted. "Except it's not just one wall crawling bug, it's seven of 'em!"

"Um, I'm guessing this guy isn't just a bouncer." Punk said as he hadn't dealt or even heard of this man before.

"Juggernaut is a member of Magneto's group, the brotherhood of mutants." Drifter informed. "He's also one of the most powerful heavy hitters to exist."

Juggernaut chuckled at this. "Flattery will get you less pummelled." Juggernaut said as he cracked his neck.

"Marko!" Chamaeleon called out, prompting the powerhouse to look up at him in the rafters. "Deal with these spiders and I'll up your pay! And it'll double each time you take a spider down…" Dimitri said with a grin.

"With pleasure." Marko said with a grin as he cracked his knuckles.

"So, are there any strategies on how to beat this guy?" Spider-Gwen asked as she was in a defensive pose as Juggernaut slowly walked to the group of spiders. "Because I'm not gonna lie, I'm feeling really intimidated."

Steam scoffed. "He's just another meathead. He's not gonna be a problem." Steam said as one of his talons activated and pointed at Juggernaut.

"I think you'll find he's not." Drifter said as he casted Steam an annoyed look for not taking this problem seriously.

"Please, I'm about to make this idiot bleed!" Steam-Spider declared as he fired a powerful blast from his talon and it headed for Marko…which immediately bounced off him like it was nothing, much to Juggernaut's amusement.

"What was that about making him bleed?" Punk sarcastically asked.

"Shut it!" Steam snarled while he glared at Juggernaut.

"That was cute." Juggernaut mocked me with a smile. "Now it's my turn…" Juggernaut said in a threatening tone as he got into a running position, ready to run them all through. "HERE COMES THE JUGGERNAUT!" Marko yells as he starts to charge right for the spiders.

Drifter's eyes widen in panic at this and yells out. "EVERYONE MOVE!" Drifter yells out, causing all of the spiders to jump out of their spot before they could get crushed. Drifter landed the closest near the rampaging mutant and glared at him. Juggernaut turned to see Drifter and grinned. "So you're the first one to get pummelled?"

Drifter stood up and glared at the man. "Not happening!" Drifter declared as he snatched a grenade shaped object from his belt and tossed it at Marko.

Once the object hit Juggernaut's chest, it exploded into a hard foam like substance, encasing him into a large hard-shell prison.

Drifter had hoped this would give him an advantage against him, but when he saw the grin still present on Marko's face, he knew that it wasn't the case. Juggernaut used all of his strength to break the foam and quickly destroy it, freeing him from the foam.

He looked down at Drifter with a feral look, and before Drifter could do anything else to use to combat him, Juggernaut then suddenly grabbed him by the leg

"Oh god no, not the-" Drifter muttered as Juggernaut grinned. "LEEEEEEEEEEGGGGGGGGG!" Drifter yelled as Juggernaut spun around and tossed the veteran spider towards the bar, crashing into the wall filled with bottles.

"Drifter!" Spider-Man called out in worry for his older counterpart.

Juggernaut turned to him and the rest of the spiders. "Don't worry too much, web head! It'll be your turn soon enough!" Juggernaut declared as he pulled his fist back and prepared to cave his head in, but Spidey managed to dodge.

"Hate it when they do that..." Drifter groaned in pain as he was covered in glass and liquid. He managed to get himself up off the ground. He was in a bit of a daze after that throw he just endured.

He turned his head to see the rest of the spiders fighting Juggernaut, mainly on the defensive and the only one who managed to hold Juggernaut to a standstill was Spider-Drone due to his size and strength he possessed.

Drifter leaped over the bar and ran towards Spider-Man, who was keeping Juggernaut distracted by shooting web shots at his face to help give Drone an advantage to the standstill.

"So did you know Chameleon had Juggernaut on his payroll?" Spidey asked as he watched the fight between Juggernaut and Spider-Drone.

"No. This is new even for me." Drifter admitted. "But this Juggernaut is relatively the same from most worlds." Drifter observed. "So this shouldn't be much of a problem."

"Um, it's still Juggernaut." Spider-Man pointed out to his older counterpart. "He's not exactly the easiest guys to fight." Spider-Man said as Drifter started to move back.

"I have faith that you and the rest of you will handle Juggernaut." Drifter said as he started to move away from the group.

"What?" Spidey exclaimed. "But what about you?" Spider-Man asked as he watched his older counterpart move away. "What are you gonna do?"

Drifter looked up to see Chameleon still on the rafters, with a glare he announced his intentions. "I'm gonna have a word with Dimitri about his managing skills." Drifter said as he fired a grapple rope up and ascended up to the rafters.

"Well, at least he's got faith in us." Spidey thought as he turned his head to the rest of the spiders, where Sheriff was on Juggernauts back and fired web shots onto him while Marko tried to get him off his back.

"I COULD USE A HAND HERE!" Sheriff-Spider cried out as Juggernaut then grabbed him and threw him towards a wall, but he was saved at the last minute by Spider-Punk who managed to web swing him out of the way.

"Well, this should be fun." Spider-Man muttered as he joined in the fray with the rest of the spiders to fight the Unstoppable Juggernaut.

Up in the rafters, Chamaeleon was watching the fight unfold with a grin on his face.

"Should we go boss?" One of his guards asked.

"No, I want to see Marko tear each of these bugs apart." Chamaeleon waved off. "I really need to see how this all ends."

"You won't like the result." A voice called out to him, prompting him to turn to see Drifter just a few feet away from him, and though he couldn't see it, he could tell that the veteran spider had an angered look from under his mask.

"Dimitri, you son of a bitch!" Drifter growled, ready to leap at the man and make him pay for his betrayal but his men pointed his guns at him. "Do you really think you're just gonna walk away after just betraying me?!"

"I'm sorry, Drifter." Dmitri falsely apologized to Drifter. "But as a businessman, I have to look after my best interests. And I truly hoped that you would stop Dark Web. But considering he has an army, I decided to take my chances." Chameleon casually said. He then clicked his fingers. "Men, take care of Drifter once and for all if you please." Dimitri ordered as he walked away while his two bodyguards ran towards Drifter who was ready for anything they were gonna bring.

Meanwhile, Peter and the rest of the spiders were still battling Juggernaut, who was currently in a fist fight with Spider-Drone as they both dealt damaging blows to one another. Though Juggernaut was making a bit more of an impact towards Drone.

"So does anyone have any ideas on how to take this guy down?" Spider-Gwen asked. "Because I'm gonna be honest, this might be a tough one to beat."

"It's simple." Spider-Man assured. "All we need to do is to take off his helmet and he'll be completely vulnerable." Spider-Man said.

"That is if we even get a chance to take it off." Steam pointed out as he continued to fire shots at the man which did nothing to hurt.

"We just need to immobilize him." Spider-Man said. "Usually, my webbing is enough to stop him from moving." Spider-Man said.

"Yeah, but he'll just break out of it as soon as it's on." Sheriff said as he rejoined the group with Spider-Punk.

"Yes, when it was just one spider." Spider-Man pointed out, raising a finger to prove his point. "And considering that there are six of us..." Spidey gestured to the rest of the spiders. "I think we got a good chance of winning."

"Sheriff-Spider smiled under his bandanna and reloaded his revolvers. "Well then, let's show Marko how we Spiders do things." Sheriff proclaimed Spidey and the other spiders nodding in agreement as they joined in with Drone in taking down Juggernaut.

Back up in the rafters, Drifter was currently dealing with two of the Chameleons bodyguards. "This shouldn't be a problem." Drifter thought to himself as the first man threw in the first punch towards Drifter who managed to dodge just in time.

He then grabbed the man by the arm and tossed him over the rafters as he crashed onto a table down below. He turned to the second guy to try to take him on as well but Drifter just used his grapple to tie around the man, he then grabbed onto the rope and threw him to the other side of the rafters, taking him down as well.

Suddenly his spider sense went off, indicating danger was coming. He turned around to see what was happening until he was met with a blast made from pure sound as it caused Drifter to fall to the ground.

The cause of the sound blast was The Chameleon, who was holding up a large bazooka like weapon with a smug grin on his face. "Like that? I will you, the Kree can make some remarkable things." Dimitri grinned as he walked over to Drifter's downed form. "I guess your spider sense isn't all that if it can't sense this."

Drifter growled as he struggled to get up, but Chameleon planted his boot down onto his back to stop him from moving. "Look at yourself, Drifter." Dimitri mocked. "How do you stand any hope against Dark Web if you can't even beat me?" Dimitri asked as Drifter had an angered look to his face.

Meanwhile, Drone was starting to lose the fight with Juggernaut as he started to overwhelm the robot spider.

"Looks like you need a serious upgrade, tin can!" Juggernaut mocked with an evil grin as he pushed Drone back. "And now you're gonna be scrap!"

"I am not...made of tin!" Drone said in a struggling tone as he kept his ground against Marko. "And your statement is false!" Drone stated.

"Yeah, and why's that!?" Juggernaut tauntingly asked.

Drone looked up at the man. "Because you failed to take in account of the others." Drone stated.

Juggernaut scoffed at this notion. "Please! What could those little punks..." Juggernaut was about to say until his mouth was suddenly shut closed by a single web shot, thanks to Sheriff-Spider for that, much to Juggernaut's shock and anger.

"Hmmmph!?" Juggernaut muffled as he struggled to stick, he took a few steps back to remove the webbing off his mouth.

"Now! Do it!" Sheriff-Spider called out to the rest of the spiders to do their part. Spider-Man, Spider-Gwen, Spider-Punk and Steam-Spider then ran around The Juggernaut and started to shoot web lines around him, encasing him into a webby prison that was four times the strength, making it extra hard for him to get out now.

"Wh-What the!" Juggernaut exclaimed in anger as he tried to get out but to no avail. "You spiders are gonna regret this!" Juggernaut roared at the spiders.

"Kid!" Sheriff yelled out to Spider-Man, who looked ready. "Take off the helmet!" Sheriff said.

Spider-Man nodded in response. "You got it!" Spider-Man said. He then leaped up towards Marko who couldn't even fight back against the arachnid. He landed on his chest and managed to remove the helmet off of Marko, exposing his face. "Alright, have it, spiders!" Spidey called out as he jumped off Marko.

Juggernaut growled in anger. "Don't any of you pipsqueaks even..." Juggernaut would've finished if he hadn't just been slugged across the face by Spider-Gwen

"Huh, guess he does have a punchable face." Gwen quipped.

"Let's continue to test that!" Steam said with a grin under his helmet as he leapt up and swung his fist across Markos's face, followed by the rest of the spiders as each one of them dealt a blow towards his face, putting Marko in a dizzy haze.

"TIMBER!" Spider-Man yelled out as he dealt the final blow and punched Cain Marko in the face, knocking him down to the ground as he fell over, still trapped in a case of webbing.

The Spiders watched as Juggernaut fell to the ground, beaten by the spiders.

"Really, timber?" Sheriff suddenly asked with a raised brow.

Spider-Man shrugs. "Hey, if it fits, it fits." Spidey said as he looked over to the downed bouncer.

Meanwhile, Drifter was still on the ground as Dimitri continued to mock him.

"You think you can do anything? You can't." Dimitri mocked with a grin. "You can't do anything right in your miserable life. You're gonna lead all of those spiders to their deaths..." Dimitri said as a glare was on Drifter's face, growing angrier by the second.

"You couldn't save the other spiders you tried to help..." Dimitri said, causing Drifter to clench his fist. "You couldn't save any of the heroes Dark Web killed..." Dimitri continued as Drifter gritted his teeth in anger.

Dimitri smirked as he said the last thing Drifter wanted to hear. "You couldn't even save your own world from Dark Web..." Dimitri smoothly said to Drifter.

And this...was enough for Drifter to put an end to this once and for all. He let out an angry growl as he suddenly pushed Chameleon off of him ,much to his surprise as he saw the veteran spider get up. He pointed the bazooka at him but didn't even have a chance to fire when Drifter grabbed the weapon and pushed it upwards, the blast going for the ceiling instead.

Before Dimitri could even get a second chance, Drifter punched him in the face with most of his strength held back. Dmitri held his nose as he found that it was now broken. He looked up to see Drifter with the bazooka and actually ripped the thing in half, effectively destroying it.

Dimitri tried to crawl away, knowing he couldn't win this fight, but Drifter grabbed and pulled him before punching him again and pushing him onto the rafters, not falling off them because of Drifter's grip, which held strong as Chameleon saw that Drifter had a mean glare to him as he pulled his fist back.

"What was that before, Dimitri?" Drifter said in a threatening tone towards Chameleon, who was frightened by this side of Drifter. "I guess you're not as smart as you think you are!" Drifter yelled.

"N-N-Now hang on, Drifter!" Dimitri pleaded as Drifter held him by the collar. "Y-You've beaten me, alright? Now you can just…stop okay? No need to take it any further!" Dimitri pleaded as Drifter glared at him.

"And Besides, Spider-Man doesn't take it too far! Right!?" Dmitri pointed out to the veteran spider, who slightly loosen his grip because of that.

"You're right…" Drifter muttered. "As Spider-Man, I can't take it too far." Drifter said, causing Dimitri to give a big sigh of relief.

But Drifter regained his grip on Dimitri's collar and looked at him with a glare. "But it's like you said before…" Drifter spoke in a deeply threatening tone as Dmitri's blood ran cold.

"I'm not Spider-Man anymore…am I?" Drifter said in a deadly serious tone towards Chameleon as his eyes widened in fear.

Drifter then pulled his fast back and brought it forwards towards Dimitris face as the nightclub owner was now in deep, deep trouble.

Back with the rest of the spiders, they looked over to the downed Juggernaut who was still trapped in the webs they had made.

"It looks like we worked really well today." Spider-Man smiled under his mask. "I mean, it usually takes me a while to take on Juggernaut, and even then I had help." Spider-Man said as he turned to the rest of the spiders. "But with you guys, you really made quick work of him."

Sheriff smiled in response. "It's 'cause we got the skill and the experience to know foes, kid." Sheriff said. "And with that, we can just about accomplish anything."

"Damn right." Gwen said in agreement with the wild west spider.

Steam was just dismissive of it. "Meh, I would've done it eventually." Steam said as the other spiders rolled their eyes.

"Um, guys," Spider-Punk calls out to the rest of the spiders, who turned to him and saw that there were still a few people in the room ready to fight the spiders. "It looks like we still got a few more dissatisfied blokes."

Spider-Man saw this but wasn't worried. "Well then," Spider-Man said as he got into his defensive stance, as did the other spiders. "It looks like there's a few guys who need to be bared." Spider-Man quipped.

"It looks like you guys are gonna need-"

CRASH!

"What the hell?!" Sheriff exclaimed in shock as he heard the crash, as did the other spiders and the remaining goons there.

Spider-Man didn't have time to finish his quip when the sound of a table crashing was heard. They looked to see that the table just a few feet in front of them was suddenly destroyed, with someone lying in the remains of the table.

It was the Chameleon who looked to have been thrown off the rafters and crashed onto the table. He opened his eyes in panic and climbed out of the wreckage, still in pain, but he needed to get the hell out of here.

"KEEP HIM AWAY FROM ME!" Dimitri cried out in a frightened tone as he headed for the exit.

Suddenly, Drifter leaped from the rafters and landed on the ground floor. He looked up with a steely glare. He then fired his grappler that reached all the way to Dmitri, wrapping around his neck, tightening around it as Drifter grabbed the rope and pulled him closer towards him.

Drifter gritted his teeth as he then pulled back the rope with all of his strength, causing Dimitri to get flung across the room and slam right into a large tv screen that nearly filled the entire room. The screen was cracked as Dimitri's body made an impact shape on it.

The spiders flinched at the sight of the Chameleon's body smash onto the TV screen like that. They were also shocked at the sight of Drifter being brutal with him.

"Man, Drifter is...really giving it to him." Gwen said in a slightly worried tone over how Drifter was currently acting right now.

"You're telling me." Hobbie said in the same tone.

Dimitri's body then fell from the TV and back onto the ground. He struggled to get up as Drifter walked over to where Dimitri landed, the glare on his face never leaving.

Drifter then grabbed Dimitri by the neck and lifted him up in the air only to smash him back down onto a nearby table.

The Spiders were pretty shocked to see this display from Drifter acting ruthless, not even they, maybe Steam, had acted this way to their foes.

"He seems to be taking this too far." Drone observed.

"Yeah..." Gwen could only say.

Drifter then held Dimitri by the neck and lifted up to meet his gaze. Drifter then punched Dimitri in the face, drawing blood from his mouth. Drifter then punched him again and again, he kept punching him as the Spiders watched in shock and the remaining patrons watched in horror.

"Drift." Spidey called out to his older counterpart who kept punching the club owner. "You can stop now, you've won!" Spider-Man said, raising his voice as Drifter seemed to ignore him.

"Drifter! DRIFTER!" Spider-Man yelled at the veteran spider who showed no signs of stopping.

"WHAT!?" Drifter shouted as he snapped up at his youngster, his steely glare still on his face as Spider-Man watched him.

"You can stop now..." Spider-Man said.

Drifter panted heavily as he looked over to the beaten form of The Chameleon who was barely conscious. He let go of him and stood up. He looked around and saw the terrified patrons around him.

"Does anyone else wanna see what happens if you mess with me?" Drifter asked in a threatening tone to all of the patrons. They immediately shook their heads and ran for the exit, leaving the club and more importantly to them, not deal with the spider.

"Though so..." Drifter muttered as he continued to pant as the fight took a lot out of him.

The Spiders were still in shock over seeing their leader act so brutal to man like that. They had always seen him as calm and reserved. To see him act like this...it was truly something they didn't expect.

"Peter..." Gwen said in a calm tone to the older spider. "Are you okay?" She asked with concern in her tone.

He didn't answer at first, still reeling over the beatdown he just laid down. "We...are done here." Drifter groaned. "Let's move...Now." Drifter said as he walked past the spiders and headed towards the exit.

"That was...brutal." Spider-Punk all but could say at the moment.

"Indeed." Spider-Drone said in agreement.

"I...wasn't expecting that from Drifter of all people." Gwen said in a slightly worried tone as she watched Drifter leave.

"I know." Steam-Spider said. "I'm kinda impressed." Steam said as he crossed his arms and a small smirk forming under his mask.

"I ain't." Sheriff said in a serious tone as he gave a glare of disapproval towards the veteran spider.

Spider-man himself didn't have any words to say to add to this conversation right now, instead, he just looked at the leaving form of Drifter. He had always seen him as a man who kept his cool and was mainly serious on the task at all times. It looked like to him, he would find a way to keep things calm all for the good of the world. But now, he wondered how far his older counterpart would go in stopping Dark Web if he acted like this when someone betrayed him.

Sheriff on the other hand was less sympathetic than his younger self was towards Drifter, He glared at Drifter as he left, feeling more and more distrustful of him. When they met, he had his suspicions of the man, seeing that he might have something to hide. But this dealing with The Chameleon, a man who he himself has dealt with in the past and none of the times were any good. This made the former Sheriff think that Drifter wasn't all that innocent as he seems.

All of the Spiders looked at each other before following Drifter's lead and met with him outside of the club, where they had first arrived on this world.

Drifter was silent, not speaking a word as he loaded in the fuel and prepared the following coordinates for the next world. Not a single one of the spiders said a word to him as he was too preoccupied with the device.

Until Spidey spoke up. "Drifter, are you okay?" Spider-Man asked.

Drifter didn't answer him at first, instead, just sending a sideways glance at his younger self. "...Let's just go..." Drifter all but said. Spider-Man nodded in response as Drifter put in the last numbers and engaged the transporter, creating a portal just before them. The Spiders, except for Drifter, gave each other looks of worry before they followed Drifter into the portal, leaving this world and onto the next, as The Translucent was left in shambles. A clear indicator of not to mess with The Spiders...Because you may not like the results that may come.

Thanks for reading this chapter of Rise and Fall.

Sorry it took me a while to do this, I was busy with my other stories. I will and do better update at a more convenient time, but I can't promise anything.

Next chapter of the story will focus on the Dark Web as he forms a new plan to get the spiders, and he isn't going to be using any gilders for this mission. Thanks and see you Around!
