Kresin, Volstro, Silver, and Latias embarked in search of Kooper and Noiwave. They failed to return to Celetris. They pushed their fears aside to reunite with them. One night, they head back to Silver's house.

Latias sighed, looking out the window. She was growing tired, with no logical solution to find the love of her life. "We're never gonna find them like this."

"Don't lose hope, Latias. They are counting on us." Kresin reassured the legendary that everything was going to be alright.

"Face it, Kresin, how many times has one of us gone missing? It's like a running joke with our rescue team." The Heliolisk leans on the wall, crossing his arms. Volstro was growing increasingly cynical.

Noiwave's little sister was kneeling near the window, praying. "They're still out there, and I know once they get back here, my wings shall swaddle them."

"Is Silver drunk again?" Latias asked. "Jokes aside, you have a point, Silver. It's time to step up. They're counting on us!"

"Latias is right, little guy. Celetris needs us more than ever." Said Kresin. "But what could they be doing now?"

"Do you know how many fucking awful conversations we have talking about our adventures? Remember that one time Kooper told us about that damn Delphox pointing a gun at him after turning off the Xbox? Or fighting a Digimon? Kooper tripping balls and falling into a coma? Kooper going missing after the war and going mad? That glow in the dark, Dry Bones suicide bombing Aurafu?"

"Please, come back some other day with that topic? Actually, don't come back with that. Only thing that should be is the friends part of those memories."

The quartet star gaze out the window. They were truly at a loss for what happened to Kooper and Noiwave.

Loading Dry Dry Desert.

Ursel, Kooper, Noiwave and Kalvin lived in Dry Dry Desert, a vast scorching desert in the Mushroom Kingdom as you can imagine. They set a campfire near an oasis south-east of the desert. For the first time in months, Ursel felt refreshed, physically and mentally, after bathing in the oasis.

Ursel approaches his friends, gazing down as he dries himself off with a towel. "This desert looks beautiful compared to everything else I've seen recently. Clean air, friendly travelers, and a starry sky."

"Skinny dipping in this crusty desert changes your mood fast. Maybe I should try that." Said Noiwave.

"Stinky bat, thinking about taking a bath? How out of character."

After Kalvin commented on Noiwave's hygiene, she approached Kalvin, shaking him to death. The other two laughed, since Kalvin wasn't in any real danger.

"I'll show you the stink when this reviver seed makes you a Koopa Troopa again!"

"Reviver seeds don't revive ghost types like that, let alone a Dry Bones are you f#! king stupid?"

"Now I'm not just stupid, I'm f#! king stupid now?" Noiwave hunched down to Kalvin's level.

"I can call you Becky Nicky too. It's a package deal."

"Let me give you a package deal." Noiwave interrupts, taking off one of her socks and decapitating Kalvin's skull into the oasis.

"Partin, Noiwave and I don't mean to be rude when I asked this… do you ever clean yourself?"

"By how much mail I delivered all over Napoleon and Celetris, I got so tired and sweaty that washing up was out of the question from how exhausted I was, let alone changing these thigh socks." She explains, taking off her thigh socks and dipping them into the oasis before resting her talons into the water.

"Why do you wear thigh socks, Noiwave?" Kooper asked.

"These thigh socks are popular with Noivern's back in Napoleon as either fashion or minor protection. My uncle got me into these things, but my auntie and little brother thought they were unnecessary."

"You have more family?"

"U-Ursel… can me and Kooper have a moment, please?" She mumbles.

Ursel simply nods and fishes Kalvin's skull out of the oasis before and walks off before he could bite her foot. Her sudden mood change confused Kooper and sat right next to her, wrapping his tiny arms around her.

"Ever since I met you, I did not know what I was getting myself into… but it has been the most thrilling days in my adult life. The weirdest thing is that I never questioned if you were a Pokemon or not, makes me wonder if anything would have been different if you were a Pokemon."

"Honestly Noiwave, I don't feel that special compared to Pokemon. Anything I accomplished and overcame just didn't feel real."

"That's imposter syndrome, Kooper. Calling it how I see it. Maybe to an extent you're right, but I don't enjoy seeing it like that because… listen." Noiwave gets on her knees, gently resting her claws on Kooper's shoulders.

"You may have accomplished little in your eyes, and that's okay. You tried. Few Pokemon can confront a legendary, let alone a fusion, or search for them after they go missing for months. And remember, you're an archaeologist. Discovering is your passion. Rescue teams would die for someone like you. Archeology may not pay well, but being a rescue team member, you can explore and make a living out of it. Kooper, you can be an amazing explorer no matter the dimension. You've done more than I ever could, and I'm way older."

"Don't underestimate yourself, Noiwave. You and your sister gave me a place to stay. You came to rescue me from Bowser's clutches! But what I value most is… you just being here makes everyday keep me going."

With a warm smile, Noiwave pulls Kooper off the ground for a tight hug, swaddling him around her wings, and Kooper nuzzles her neck fur.

"I love you, screet." She smooches the Koopa on his snout.

"Awww, now that's the affection and support that keeps a friendship's flame ignited!" Ursel says right behind Noiwave, holding Kalvin's hands as he blushes.

Noiwave smacks Ursel and Kalvin with her tail, breaking Kalvin into multiple pieces. "Stop doing that! You and Kooper did the same thing when I reunited with Silver… dammit, I lose her every time I reunite with her. She's adopted, but stop snatching her from me!"

"I can give you space, Noiwave. My apologies for invading this sweet moment between friends."

"No, please stay." Noiwave sets Kooper down on the verge of tears.

"It's okay to cry. You will see her again. We all will." Ursel hugs her from behind, ensuring her that everything would be okay.

"There might just be a way. If we head to Star Heaven tomorrow, the Star Spirits could help us, perhaps." Kooper suggested.

"Those good noodle stars may be our only hope left to see my eternal love, Latias."

"Well, until she's dead too." She says under her breath.

Kalvin bites Noiwave deep in her foot, causing her to scream out several profanities while stomping his skull into the sand. Ursel pulled him straight back out in order to scold him.

"Kalvin, we don't go around biting people in the feet!" He holds his skull up.

"She smacked me with her rancid sock. I was just biting her bunions."

"You… WATCH YOURSELF!"

"Alright, alright, let's get some rest before we kill each other. No offense, but I would rather get killed by Giratina instead of one of you guys." Said Ursel.

"You rather get murdered by a fellow legendary instead of any regular Pokemon or… faker Squirtle?" Noiwave points at Kooper, staring into Ursel's eyes while stretching her head.

"Hey, that's not nice! At least I'm not Riolu number two thousand and six!" Kooper yanks Noiwave's tail, raising one finger into the sky.

"First, that's not two thousand and six fingers you're raising, second, you really think you're that special just because you're a Koopa Troopa? These obscure escapades we've fallen victim to would be no different if you and I were a Squirtle. Most Napoleon residents would Noibat an eye because you're not their kind instead of being… well, neither Human, nor Pokemon."

"How would you know about that? You never even saw Napoleon, Kalvin. I never even mentioned Napoleon when we were in prison."

After a moment of silence, Kalvin's body connects back together, and he digs himself into the sand, getting it all over the other three.

"Yeah, stay down there! The dirt suits you well!" Kooper stomps on Kalvin's burial spot.

"Maybe some medical attention would suit Noiwave well, Kooper. Go fix up her foot." Ursel chuckles, pushing the boy towards the Noivern.

"Just merely a foot wound. Does it hurt when I touch it?" He asked as he rubbed the Noivern's talons.

"Stop talking screet. Your massaging is extravagant!" She lays under one tree. Playfully kicking Kooper over. "Don't look at me like you Koopa's don't get stepped on every day."

His neck extends as he attempts to bite her foot. Noiwave scoots back in fear.

"Wait, stop! I was just joshing you, Koops! My feet taste bad, don't ask how I know that.."

"Whatever you say. Goodnight, stinky bat." Kooper rested his head on Noivern's enormous belly.

"Now you're calling me stinky bat? You're too damn precious to harm. Sweet dreams, Kooper, don't let the Noivern's bite. Night to you as well, Ursel."

"Night, Noiwave. You good down there, Kalvin?"

He gives Ursel a thumbs up from the sand. Ursel lays next to the other two.
