"You're telling me you forced Young Midoriya off of the field?" Toshinori's tired voice carried an unusual bit of passion as he spoke to the young hero known as RegNinja. "He passed flying colors on every part of the physical tests and scored the highest on the entrance exam. There was no reason for that. Uraraka and Young Bakugo wouldn't be in pain right now." He ran his large hand over his face, his long yellow hair moving with it. "I trusted you with the Secret of One For All! Not to mention, Uraraka is my successor! She—"

"Has a few scars… I know." The dry voice of the hero cut through the Symbol of Peace's emotional speech. "I'll never forget what you taught me back in America, but you have to trust me. As much as I love you, All-Might–you're the father I never had—you gotta trust my gut on this. That Plot Armor Quirk is powerful, sure, but there's something just unnatural about it. I didn't want to let my students walk straight into the barrel of a cannon."

"Young Midoriya is—"

"Izuku knows next to nothing about the Quirk himself. He told me himself that its gotten more active recently as well. What if All for One—"

"That man–no, monster–has nothing to do with Midoriya."

"We both know that he's experimented on children before."

"RegNinja, just teach him the best you can—Spar with him if you can. You've learned so much from America."

The young hero sighed. "For you, All-Might, sure."

Urakara hugged her knees as she sat alone in her apartment, waiting for the news. Scars tickled her skin as they ran from her fingers to her palm. The ugly purple markings on her hand contrasted with the pale walls of her home. The heroine nurse known as Recovery Girl had told her that her hand would never be the same. She stretched it again, feeling a sharp pain in it. How could she think about that? She could still remember how he looked. Bakugo was in terrible condition, his skin covered in welts from the overuse of his Quirk. He had saved her. As much of a jerk as he was, anger issues and all, he had killed Nomu and caused the villain known as Tomura Shigaraki to be put in prison. He hadn't been talking to police, but capturing him was the very first step to figuring out who planned the attack in the first place. Her phone laid silent beside her. She wanted to explode like Bakugo did. She wanted to slam her fists and scream. All of the power of One For All, but she couldn't do anything.

Suddenly, her phone buzzed as Midoriya's name and icon came into view. Wait–He was with Bakugo at the hospital today! Mister RegNinja had told them that he would give them extra credit for every hour that a student stayed there. Not that anyone cared about that. Kirishima, Midoriya, and Mister RegNinja had been the three to stay there the longest. If he was calling, it was probably important! Immediately after thinking, she answered the call and shoved it close to her ear.

"Hey, Midoriya!-" She caught herself off guard from how dry her throat was. She cleared her throat and started to speak again. "How is he doing?"

"It should've been me, Uraraka…" This sudden statement of frustration made her heart drop into her stomach. His broken voice carried a heavy sense of melancholy, even as he inhaled with a shakiness. "Seeing him like this is so wrong. The doctors are saying that he won't be healthy in time for the Sports Festival." Another shaky breath filled the phone. "I'm so sorry—I shouldn't speak so selfishly like that. I'm supposed to be better than that." His words began to run together. Her heart clenched inside her chest, as if she felt all of the raw emotion that poured out of him. "ImsupposedtobestrongerthanthisandidontknowwhatifIdonthave–"

"M-Midoriya…" Her voice broke through the emotional train wreck of Midoriya. "I'm scared too." A shaky smile came across her face. Where was this hope coming from? Maybe it was the Quirk of One For All empowering her with All-Might's emotional strength. "Bakugo is one of the strongest people I know–the only person I know that's not intimidated by your Quirk. He'll die if he doesn't fight you."

A sniffle came from the other side of the phone. "Thank you, Uraraka…" His voice slowly trailed. "Would you–uh–like to–maybe…"

Was he asking her out? Blush ran to her face. "I mean–If you wanna–"

"Coffee?"

"Y-yeah."
