Summary/disclaimer: time for another chapter of Sins of the Father. Enjoy the 900-word chapter. I don't own Metal Gear, Konami, Hideo Kojima and a few others do.

Owl looked at the locked doors before the trio turned to the Metal Gear. Sahelanthropus stood in front of them in all its glory.

The 24 Meter Metal Gear seemed to stare at the group. It looked like a sentinel of death covered in weapons. Owl hummed and then crossed his arms while looking at Rabbit and Bear.

"How the hell are we supposed to get it out?" Rabbit asked while looking at the door once more. "I mean, I could lift it, but I feel you'd two would get jealous." Rabbit joked which made Bear and Owl roll their eyes.

"Pretty damn funny, idiot." Bear said with a smile. "But we're going to need something big. Sahelanthropus is way too big to try and get him out of the hanger." Bear stated while Owl cracked his fingers.

"Rabbit, call base. Tell them we're here." Owl put in and unclipped his rifle. "We're going to have to hold off Dingo." Owl said with annoyance.

Owl was getting really angry with his former soldier. Part of him kept the professional attitude he was required. Another part of him wanted to chase down Dingo and string the man up.

"That POS betrayed our team." Bear stated while someone banged on the door. "I'm going to end up gutting him if we find him again." Bear hissed before turning with his shotgun raised.

"Mission comes before vengeance, Bear." Owl said and nodded towards the Metal Gear. "Besides? If Dingo or whoever he's working for gets their hands on Sahelanthropus? Their have a weapon of mass destruction." Owl stated to the two soldiers as he keyed his Idroid.

"Dust?" Owl questioned Dust while his friend hummed. "How are you and Wolf? We're in the process of securing the package." Owl put in while he lowered his gun to towards the group.

"Wolf is…. Ok." Dust stated to his squad leader. "I've moved inside. We're both die of hypothermia if we didn't. I do have an issue, though." Dust reported which made Owl hum.

"Which is?" Owl asked as Rabbit pulled out his Idroid to report on the mission. "Is Wolf unconscious? Are we on a time limit?" Owl questioned the team medic.

"Not exactly." Dust responded to his commander. "I'm mostly dealing with her… Friends. Her wolves have been following me all around, it's like they don't want to leave her." Dust put in which made Owl hum and shrug.

"They're her family, Dust." Owl responded to his friend. "They're not going to leave her till she asks them to. Don't bother them, their coming with us. Void Wing takes anyone whose lost and adrift." Owl stated to his friend while cracking his neck.

"I've already called in a chopper to get us out." Dust put in while Owl blinked. "What about Dingo? I'm sure he's trying to explain how a bunch of rookie soldiers outsmarted him." Dust added, amusement staining his voice as Owl was silent.

"I don't know what he's up to at the moment." Owl stated to himself before Bear blinked. "We're dealing with trying to get the Gear out of here. Rabbit? Did you get the copter ready?" Owl questioned his friend who nodded and looked at him.

"I guess Dingo decided to take whatever he had left and book it." Bear said with annoyance. Owl turned to him as his friend looked at him.

"We're not going out of our way to kill Dingo, Bear." Owl stated to Bear with a scowl. "I want him dead as much as you do. But we have more important business to deal with now. I'm sure as anything that we're run into Dingo again." Owl put in as he checked his weapon. Owl put his weapon on his hip and drew his pistol.

"If he was willing to sneak into Void Wing? Then he's after some big." Owl added to Bear who sighed.

"He needs to pay for Gecko." Bear resounded before another glare from Owl shut him down. "Fine, but make sure I can shoot him the next time we find him. I owe him for what he did." Bear put in which made Owl shake his head and turn away.

Owl didn't really have anything to say. He couldn't comfort his friend. Owl was well aware of what was going to happen.

Bear wanted blood and there was little Owl could say to change that.

"We have at least 30 minutes till choppers arrive." Rabbit reported which made Owl hum. "You think he's got anything left?" Rabbit asked while Owl looked to the side.

He was about to respond before a noise was heard. It sounded like someone who was trying to break in. Like rolling thunder.

"Well, that answers your question." Owl said as the trio prepared for another round of combat.

Owl sighed with annoyance.
