Thank you to everyone for your feedback so far.

To Chronos0305 and Justus80: Yeah, that's pretty much the inspiration for this.

To maskedkeeper: Believe me, between Izuku and Bakugou I don't know who he's going to have more animosity with.

With that out of the way, it's on to the next chapter

Tekuno had spent the past few months preparing for UA. He improved his parkour skills to the point that he could scale four story buildings. He also created several new weapons; a stun gun, stun grenades, flash grenades and twin stun batons. He wanted to add stronger settings for tougher villains, but he figured he'd need a permit from UA first. He aced the mock exam and was pre-approved to enter the heroics exam. All he needed now was the go ahead from his parents so he could send in his application. He was getting nervous though as there was only three weeks left until the entrance exam. So when his mother entered his room he listened with bated breath.

"Tekuno, your father and I have been discussing it," She started, "And we've decided that if you stick to your end of the deal, you can enter the UA heroics course." Tekuno breathed a sigh of relief as she finished and wrapped his mother in a hug. "Good luck Tekuno, just please be safe." She said.

"Don't worry Mom," Tekuno assured her, "I will."

After getting his application sent in, Tekuno just had to wait. By the day the entrance exam rolled around, he was a little nervous. He put on his uniform, and made like a schoolgirl in every anime movie with his toast. When he got to the gates of UA he felt lucky that he had yet to run into-

"*Gasp* *pant* I made it just in time." He heard the all too familiar timid voice say. "Oh, hey Tekuno." Perfect, Izuku noticed him. Tekuno groaned inwardly and tried to ignore him. As he walked to the doors he thought how the only way this could be worse-

"Get out of my way before I set you on fire, Deku." It just got worse.

Tekuno grit his teeth as he heard the hopeless kid panic. He hoped he could still avoid talking to either of them when Bakugou bumped into him. He glared at Tekuno. Tekuno didn't avert his gaze.

"The hell are you doing here, Gadget Boy?" Bakugou asked him, "Support exams aren't until tomorrow."

"I'm taking the hero exam." Tekuno explained calmly, "You got a problem with that?"

Bakugou just shook his head and walked on. Tekuno sighed in relief, he didn't know how long he could deal with either of them before killing them. He finally got inside and after receiving his examinee card he made his way to the exam hall. When he got to his seat he groaned internally. 'Of course we were seated together.' He thought as he took his seat. After the rest of the room was filled the examiner finally started.

"WHAT'S UP UA CANDIDATES! THANKS FOR TUNING IN TO ME, YOU SCHOOL DJ! COME ON AND LET ME HEAR YA!" He shouted. Even the student with a cricket quirk couldn't be bothered. "KEEPING IT MELLOW HUH? THAT'S OKAY!"

'Yeah, not that kind of crowd, pal.' Tekuno thought as Present Mic went on to explain the exam rules, 'Most of us are staking our futures on this. He ignored Izuku's fanboying as Present Mic went on to explain how they would be taking on robots for points. The only rules were to get as many points as they can and not sabotage other examinees.

"Excuse me sir, I have a question." Some geeky looking guy called out. After Present Mic gave him the go ahead, he continued, "On the printout you mentioned four faux villains, not three. If this is an error on official UA material it is shameful. We are exemplary students and we expect the best from Japan's most notable school. A mistake such as this won't do. Additionally, you with the unkempt hair," He turned and pointed at Izuku. "You've been muttering this entire time. Stop that. If you can't take this seriously then leave. You're distracting the rest of us."

'Jesus, dude, get that stick out of your ass.' Tekuno thought. He chose to speak up, "Not that you don't have a point, but if a little muttering is all it takes to distract you, you might want to change career paths." Tekuno told him.

Before the argument could build up, Present Mic stepped in. "ALRIGHT EXAMINEE 7111, THANKS FOR CALLING IN WITH YOUR QUESTION! THAT FOURTH VILLAIN IS WORTH ZERO POINTS AND IT'S AN OBSTACLE WE'LL BE THROWING YOUR WAY! IT'S NOT THAT YOU CAN'T BEAT IT, IT'S JUST THAT IT'S REALLY NOT WORTH IT!" He explained.

A few minutes later. (in Spongebob narrator)

Tekuno finally got to Battle Center C. He was excited, robots and tech were his forte after all. 'Okay Tekuno,' He told himself, 'You just want to pass. Don't get noticed, or else you kill your chances as an underground hero. What was it Kuno said? The minimum cutoff is fifty points right? All I gotta do is get a little more than that.' When Present Mic gave the signal to start, Tekuno rushed into the city.

He already had a plan which started by observing the robots. The one pointers were too weak in power. The three pointers always traveled in packs. That left the two pointers, with decent speed and power, along with lone wolf tendencies, it wouldn't be too difficult to catch one on its own. Finding a lone two pointer, he pulled out his phone and sent a kill code to the robot and it shut down with a low, drawn out beep. He climbed up to the robot's head and found the control panel. Removing it, he got to work on rewiring it. After a minute, he hooked the robot up to his phone, giving him control of all its functions. With that, his plan had begun, Taking down bot after bot. He had been nervous that students might destroy his robot, but the no sabotage rule seemed to be keeping his plan intact.

Meanwhile in the examiners room.

"Center C, the one controlling the robot." One teacher said, in a tired voice.

The principal addressed him, "Do you think he's the vigilante we're looking for?" He asked.

"The vigilante's been covering his tracks, but I'm sure this is him. His code is good." The voice answered.

"Excellent," The principal grinned gleefully, "I do believe hacking has become an underappreciated art form."

Someone hit a button on one of the computer panels , "Let's see how good he really is, then."

Back in Battle Center C, Tekuno had just finished wrecking a three pointer. 'Fifty-five points should be enough to pass,' He thought, as he shut down the robot. He patted it on its metal head, "Good boy." He said softly. As he made his way to the exit, he grabbed a loose pipe from the ground. 'If anyone asks, improvised weaponry is surprisingly effective.'

BOOOOM!

The ground around Tekuno started to rumble. He looked up and there it was, the zero pointer. He started to make a break for it when he just barely missed getting crushed by a falling piece of rubble. He looked around and saw the panic. With the destruction this thing was causing, somebody could get hurt, whether getting knocked down by falling rubble, or falling over and getting trampled. He could probably shut it off. He pulled out his phone and tried to send a kill code to the behemoth. ACCESS DENIED, his screen read.

'Shit, I'm locked out.' Tekuno cursed in his mind. He tried to figure out a plan, when he saw a kid who was swinging around earlier with tape from his elbows. "HEY, YOU WITH THE ELBOWS!" He called out to him, "THIS THING'S CAUSING WAY TOO MUCH DESTRUCTION FOR COMFORT! I NEED TO GET UP THERE TO SHUT IT DOWN!"

"ARE YOU CRAZY MAN?" Elbows shouted, "I'M NOT GOING UP THERE, THAT'S WAY TOO DANGEROUS!"

"JUST THROW ME UP THERE AND RUN!" Tekuno shouted back. Elbows shrugged, wrapping Tekuno in his tape and throwing him to the zero pointer. He landed right next to its head, and pried open the access panel. He plugged his phone into one of the ports, downloading the kill code. Now to get down. He jumped to a nearby building and climbed down, the fire escape. After a visit from the nurse he was allowed to go home.

After two weeks of waiting, he got his results from UA. He opened the envelope and found a hologram featuring All Might of all people. 'So he's teaching at UA,' Thought Tekuno, 'Should be interesting.' He had gotten a ninety-nine percent on the written exam. As for the practical, he had gotten the fifty-five points he expected, but was surprised to learn about the rescue points. For going out of his way to shut down the zero pointer he had been awarded nineteen rescue points, putting him in second place with seventy-four points.
