Thank you everyone who has been reading this story so far. With that, let's start the next chapter.

After the quirk assessment test, it was on to the rest of the morning classes. It was all the usual stuff, and it was pretty obvious that everyone, Tekuno included, was really waiting for the heroics class. The lunch bell rang and they all made their way to the cafeteria. 'Wouldn't be surprised if they have Kamui Woods doing the gardening.' Tekuno thought as he got his lunch from Lunch Rush. He went for a sandwich that was packed with carbs and protein and bought an energy drink from the vending machine. While looking for a table he spotted Kaminari waving to him.

"Hey, Tekuno. Come on over." Kaminari called out to him.

Tekuno shrugged and took a seat. Aside from Kaminari, there was also the girl from before class, Yaoyorozu, he was pretty sure, and a girl with purple hair and aux cords coming out of her earlobes. The earlobe girl remained silent, listening to something through her headphones and Yaoyorozu gave him a polite wave.

"Dude, have you met Jiro and Yaoyorozu yet?" He asked.

"Yaoyorozu and I talked briefly before class, yeah. Nice to meet you Jiro, name's Tekuno." Tekuno said, mostly to be polite though. She nodded and focused on her meal and listened to her music. Yaoyorozu and Kaminari were more talkative though.

"So what do you think of All Might teaching our heroics class?" Kaminari asked the group.

Jiro shrugged, "I guess it's cool, but I was never that big of an All Might fan." She said.

"Yeah, I mean I get the idea of having the number one hero teach heroics, but there's a difference between doing and teaching." Tekuno said, not sure how All Might would fare as a teacher.

Yaoyorozu nodded, "Yes, those are valid points. I suppose we'll just have to wait and see." She then turned to Tekuno, "By the way, people are saying that you got second on the entrance exams. How did you end up almost at the bottom spot in the assessment test?" She asked.

Kaminari looked at Tekuno, as if to ask if he was going to say it or not. "That's because I'm quirkless." he told her plainly.

She looked a little surprised and even Jiro raised an eyebrow. "Oh. Um, I hope you don't mind me asking, but, how did you score so high on the entrance exam." She asked.

Tekuno smiled at her reassuringly, "It's fine." He pulled out his phone, "This is how I took down the robots."

Everyone looked at him, confusion written on their faces. "How does-"

"Robots are a lot easier to hack than a track." Tekuno explained. They seemed to understand what he meant. "The rescue points made a difference as well. I'll be honest though, if I didn't have my phone with me, I would've come in dead last during the assessment test." After that, the others started sharing their quirks with the group and Tekuno sat and listened.

After lunch, the class filed back into the classroom. Most of the class was chatting excitedly, until from outside the classroom they heard, "I AM HERE! COMING THROUGH THE DOOR LIKE A HERO!" All Might shouted with his usual flair.

As he made his way to the lectern, the class's excitement tripled. Tekuno, however, didn't get too excited, more concerned if All Might would actually be able to teach them, though, even he had to admit, it was still pretty cool.

"WELCOME TO THE MOST IMPORTANT CLASS AT UA HIGH! THINK OF IT AS HEROING 101! HERE, YOU WILL LEARN THE BASICS OF BEING A PRO AND WHAT IT MEANS TO FIGHT IN THE NAME OF GOOD! LET'S GET INTO IT!" All Might pulled out a card that read 'BATTLE' and continued. "TODAYS LESSON WILL PULL NO PUNCHES!"

'Time to test out my new skills.' Tekuno thought to himself, a small grin on his face.

All Might continued, "BUT, ONE OF THE KEYS OF BEING A HERO IS, LOOKING GOOD!" He announced, clicking on a remote that caused the front wall to extend, revealing their hero gear.

Tekuno scoffed, though no one took notice. 'Speak for yourself daylight hero.' He thought.

"THESE WERE DESIGNED FOR YOU BASED ON YOUR QUIRK REGISTRATION FORMS AND THE REQUESTS YOU SENT IN BEFORE SCHOOL STARTED!" He explained. The class immediately got excited. "GET YOURSELVES SUITED UP AND THEN MEET ME AT TRAINING GROUND BETA!" All Might finished up, leaving the students to take their gear and get ready.

Tekuno removed his costume's case from its spot, though to call it a costume would be a generous use of the word. His gear consisted of his weapons, all of which had been approved by UA, a land and air drone, the land one to get to anything he couldn't and the air one for surveillance, a dark blue hoodie, cargo pants, skate shoes and his cap and mask from his time as a vigilante. He also carried a bag for his laptop, which he used to control the drones and connect to other computers, as well as a holster for his taser. The only things he got from UA were a pair of night vision goggles and some high-end body armor. It was lightweight with material that had decent shock absorption, designed to stop light rounds and protect him from strength enhancing quirks. It wouldn't stop an All Might strength punch, but it suited his needs just fine.

When Tekuno was changed, he made his way to training ground beta. He found Kaminari, wearing a black windbreaker over a white t-shirt and black pants, and stood next to him.

"Hey, pretty cool costume dude." Kaminari complimented him with a thumbs up.

"Yours is good too." Tekuno said, "I see you're with me in the function over fashion club." He joked. Kaminari was about to continue, but then Yaoyorozu and Jiro joined the two. Tekuno's jaw nearly fell off his face. While Jiro had also joined the function over fashion club, Yaoyorozu was wearing a very revealing singlet. He was about to question her costume choices when All Might spoke up.

"THEY SAY THAT THE CLOTHES MAKE THE PROS YOUNG LADIES AND GENTLEMEN AND YOU ARE THE PROOF! TAKE THIS TO HEART, YOU ARE NOW ALL HEROES IN TRAINING! THIS IS GETTING ME ALL REVVED UP! YOU LOOK SO COOL! NOW SHALL WE GET STARTED, YOU BUNCH OF NEWBIES?" All Might said all of this with such sincerity that even Tekuno wouldn't call it bullshit. "IT'S TIME FOR COMBAT TRAINING!" All Might announced.

"Sir," One of the students, who was wearing a full suit of armor, Tekuno thought he heard his name was Idaho, or something like that, interrupted, "This is the fake city from the entrance exam. Does that mean that we'll be conducting urban battles again?" He asked All Might.

"NOT QUITE, I'M GOING TO MOVE YOU TWO STEPS AHEAD!" All Might answered. "MOST OF THE VILLAIN FIGHTS YOU SEE ON THE NEWS TAKE PLACE OUTSIDE, HOWEVER, STATISTICALLY SPEAKING RUN INS WITH THE MOST DASTARDLY VILLAINS TAKE PLACE IN DOORS! THINK ABOUT IT, BACKROOM DEALS, HOME INVASIONS, SECRET UNDERGROUND LAIRS! TRULY INTELLIGENT CRIMINALS STAY HIDDEN IN THE SHADOWS!" All Might explained. "FOR THIS TRAINING EXERCISE YOU'LL BE SPLIT INTO TEAMS OF GOOD GUYS AND BAD GUYS AND FIGHT TWO ON TWO INDOOR BATTLES!"

'Only problem with that' Tekuno thought to himself, 'Is that those bad guys you're talking about definitely go around in groups of more than two.'

"Isn't this a little advanced?" The girl with green hair who was always hunched over asked.

"THE BEST EXPERIENCE IS THE KIND YOU GET IN BATTLE! BUT REMEMBER, YOU CAN'T JUST PUNCH A ROBOT THIS TIME! YOU'RE FIGHTING ACTUAL PEOPLE NOW!" All Might answered, before being bombarded with questions.

"Will you be the one deciding who wins?" Yaoyorozu asked.

"How much can we hurt the other team?" Bakugou asked, causing Tekuno to roll his eyes in disbelief.

"Do we need to worry about the losers getting expelled like earlier?" Infinity girl asked.

"Will you be splitting us up based on chance or comparative skill?" Fancy knight asked.

"Do you think this costume is tres chic?" That last question came from who Tekuno could only describe as a boy who didn't get into enough fights growing up.

"I wasn't finished talking." All Might muttered, before pulling out a small book. "LISTEN UP, THE SITUATION IS THIS: THE VILLAINS HAVE HIDDEN THE NUCLEAR MISSILE SOMEWHERE IN THEIR HIDEOUT! THE HEROES MUST TRY TO FOIL THEIR PLANS! THE GOOD GUYS HAVE TO EITHER CAPTURE THE VILLAINS OR RECOVER THE WEAPON! LIKEWISE, THE BAD GUYS SUCCEED IF THEY PROTECT THE WEAPON OR CAPTURE THE HEROES! TIME'S LIMITED AND WE'LL CHOOSE TEAMS DRAWING LOTS!" When All Might finished his explanation, fancy knight spoke up.

"Isn't there a better way?" He asked.

Midoriya answered him, "Think about it, pros often have to team up with heroes from other agencies so maybe that's why we're doing this here."

'This might be the first time I can say you're actually right Midoriya.' Tekuno thought. 'More pressingly though,' "Sir? Why would the bad guys be anywhere near a nuclear weapon? More importantly, isn't that, like, special forces territory?" Tekuno asked All Might.

"Well, the heroes are trying to prevent the bad guys from arming the nuclear weapon." All Might explained, "As for your other question, special forces often work alongside pro heroes depending on the mission."

'Yeah, but they definitely wouldn't let Die McBlasty over there anywhere near a nuclear weapon.' Tekuno thought, but he figured that was probably the best answer he'd get. After drawing his lot he was paired up with Yaoyorozu. While Midoriya and infinity girl got put up against fancy knight and Bakugou (Tekuno was a little disappointed he wouldn't get to take either of them on), the rest of the class filed into a bunker to watch the fight. Honestly, the only part of the fight that surprised him was Midoriya's strength. He could only roll his eyes when Bakugou refused to work with his teammate, more focused on fighting Midoriya. The fight ended with the building nearly being destroyed, no surprise there and Midoriya had to be sent to the nurse again.

As for Tekuno and Yaoyorozu, they were put up against Jiro and Kaminari. Talk about coincidence. He and Yaoyorozu were the villain team, so Tekuno planned their setup.

"Yaoyorozu, I'm thinking you should focus on defending the bomb. Your quirk would be good for an absolute defense." He explained his plan.

"That makes sense, but what about you?" She asked.

"Jiro and Kaminari together makes sticking together two risky. If we did stick together, Jiro could just find our location and have Kaminari take us both out. I'm going to stay down here."

"I assume you have a plan, Tekuno." Yaoyorozu said with a grin.

"I think I've got a way to cut their communication. Tell me Yaoyorozu, do you like heavy metal?" Tekuno grinned.

After fifteen minutes of time, All Might gave the hero team the go ahead to enter the building. Tekuno had cut the lights in the building, with Yaoyorozu's okay of course, activated his night vision goggles, carried both strands of capture tape and picked out a good spot to wait for the hero team. When the two were in range, Tekuno sent Yaoyorozu the signal that the plan was in action. He tapped into Jiro's comm piece and started broadcasting some epic metal shredding at full volume.

Kaminari and Jiro were making their way into the building. Their plan was simple, locate the villains and send a massive shock at them. But before they got very far, Jiro cried out, her hands shooting to her ears. Kaminari heard the music from where he was standing and knew it wasn't good. Jiro could barely move, let alone use her quirk.

"Just, go on. I, I'll catch, up." She struggled to say. Kaminari shrugged and ran on ahead, they needed to do something to win after all. About a minute later, Jiro, unable to turn down the music, took out her comm piece, throwing it at the wall with a yell. Tekuno took that moment to act. He tackled her from behind, wrapping the capture tape around her wrists.

"I hope you're alright?" He asked, genuinely concerned for his classmate and fellow future hero.

"I'll live." Jiro muttered.

"No hard feelings?"

"That was a dick move." Jiro glared at him before letting a small smile creep onto her face, "I'll admit, I would've done the same."

Tekuno smiled back at her, "I hope you don't mind, but I can't stick around. I have a match to win after all." He then ran off as Jiro rolled her eyes. Tekuno tapped on his comm piece, "Yaoyorozu, Jiro is out. I'm after Kaminari now, keep an eye and ear out." He told her.

"Got it." Yaoyorozu said over the comms. Before the match started, Tekuno gave her his laptop to control his land drone, which was currently running through the vent. If she got a sight on Kaminari, she'd tell Tekuno right away. She kept the drone rolling, after sweeping the second floor, she moved up to the third. When she got to the third floor, she caught Kaminari at the stairwell. "Tekuno, I found Kaminari. He's exiting the third floor stairwell." She told him.

Tekuno made a break for the stairwell, moving as quickly as he could while keeping silent as Yaoyorozu continued to fill him in on Kaminari's movements. After five minutes of movement, he finally started to close in on Kaminari. He moved in to try to takedown Kaminari, but before he could get close enough, Kaminari chose that moment to glance over his shoulders. Kaminari sent out an electric field. Tekuno dove out of the way, barely avoiding it and bruising his knee. He immediately drew his taser, aiming it at Kaminari though unsure it would work.

"Whoa, dude, how did you get a gun? I didn't think UA would allow that." Kaminari said, eyes widening in shock.

Tekuno took that moment to try his luck, pulling the trigger. The shot landed, sending a pulse of electricity through Kaminari, fortunately knocking him down. Tekuno moved in and quickly wrapped the second strand of capture tape around Kaminari's wrists. "Relax," He quipped, "It's not lethal." He checked the vent for his land drone, but unfortunately, the electric shock busted it.

All Might announced the villain team's victory, giving Tekuno the MVP title and they went back to observing. He offered Yaoyorozu a fist bump which she accepted. "Good work back there." He commented.

"Thanks. You as well." Yaoyorozu said, a small smile and blush on her face.

Tekuno turned to Jiro and Kaminari, "Good match." He offered. They took it in stride and soon, the four were back to chatting with each other. After the last few matches, the class was dismissed. After changing back into his uniform, Tekuno chose to head home early to fix his land drone. On his way off of the campus, he heard Midoriya talking to Bakugou. He didn't catch much of it, but he heard something about Midoriya's quirk not being his. Tekuno was confused, but he didn't have time to worry about it. He made his way to the train station. He knew Bakugou was a competitive jackass. He knew Midoriya was an idiot who got lucky. He didn't care anymore. It was time to stop worrying about those two and focus on his own path. As long as they didn't get in his way, they'd be fine.

And that's the chapter. As always please review. All feedback, positive or negative, is greatly appreciated. So if you have something to say, please, for the love of God, say it.
