"I smell Scorp's famous blueberry waffles!" Albus exclaimed rounding the corner of the kitchen to see his fiancé in his green pressed night pants and matching shirt with an ivory apron wrapped around the base of his neck. "I want some right now, I could smell them from the bedroom."

Scorpius turned with the spatula in his hands and pointed it directly at Albus, "There needs to be a 'please' in that sentence love, be polite. Or no waffles for you!"

Albus pretended to pout which earned a giggle from the small child sitting at the table with a crayon in one hand and holding down a sheet of paper steady with the other while he colored.

"Sorry Scorp," Albus walked over to where he stood and kissed his cheek quickly so as not to distract him from cooking.

"Much better. Here love," Scorpius handed Albus the mug waving his wand over the top to reheat it to his partner's liking.

Albus took a seat at the table next to Andrew, who smiled up at him and continued to color the picture in front of him. "Good morning Andrew, how did you sleep last night?"

"I sleeped very good. Scorp said we can have waffles today and go to the park. Then I get to go see Ginny and Harwy." The little boy smiled at Albus.

His grey eyes were wide with excitement and seemed lighter than they had in the last few days the three of them had spent together.

"The park? I wasn't aware of this. Scor, are we going to the park?"

Scorpius brought three plates with fruits and waffles to the table and handed them to each member of the table.

"I figured, we could spend some time outside of the house together before we have to leave him with your parents tonight. We have been cooped inside here for three days. The muggle park should be safe from any reporters or people we know." He looked hopeful at Albus as the other man began to stuff his mouth with food.

He simply nodded agreeing with the day's plan. Happy at the victory, Scorpius began to eat.

The day after the movie night Albus and Scorpius had decided to stay in with Andrew. They didn't want to overwhelm him with being outside and Scorpius and Albus always attracted a lot of attention when out at Diagon Alley.

Both Ginny and Draco had come over the day before to check in on how things were going and weren't surprised to see that everyone was adjusting well with one another.

Ginny also took the time to remind her son and future son-in-law that they were still expected to be at the Burrow for Sunday brunch. As Molly and Arthur got older, they requested the family meet every other week no matter the circumstance. The only way out of it was a work trip, or going into labor. Being sick didn't qualify as an excuse, Molly would insist on taking care of anyone, and between the Weasley/Granger/Potters no one adult or grandchild argued against being the center of Molly's attention.

Though the boys were nervous about bringing Andrew, Ginny assured them that she would be speaking with the family and making sure to not scare the young boy. Everyone seemed excited to meet the temporary part of the family.

"Andy, what have you drawn?" Scorpius stated as the child ate his food and looked at the picture on the opposite side of his plate.

"It is a picture of us watching movies." He said moving his hand so that Scorpius could see the image.

There were three stick-ish figures each one a different color, shape, and size. Standing in front of a large yellow box. Inside the box were even more stick figures.

Scorpius assumed the one in the middle was supposed to be Andrew.

"This is lovely. Look, Al, he drew the movie night." He handed the picture over.

"Oh yes, this is the best picture I have ever seen. What is that in the sky, Andrew?"

Looking over at the picture the bo y's eyes looked expectantly at the men at the table.

"That is the moons."

"Why is the moon in the house?" Albus asked confused.

Andrew shrugged, "I like the moon. I used to see it every night from my house."

"And do you remember where that house was?"

Andrew looked between the two of them and shook his head.

Both men at the table shared a look. It was the first time Andrew had said or remembered anything from his past life.

"Well on the fridge it shall go. This was the first full day we spent together and I think it's important for us to remember it."

Scorpius's smile was extremely bright, but not as bright as Andrews's as Albus got us and positioned the photo on the fridge.

"Now who is ready for the park?" —

The muggle park wasn't far from where they lived. When they first moved into the flat in the muggle neighborhood, Albus was not a fan of the park. He thought it was noisy and would house too many children and strangers.

After a week or so of avoiding the whole park, Scorpius decided it was time to get his then- boyfriend to explore the grounds. The two took a Sunday stroll around the hike, and instantly Albus was in love.

There were a ton of trees and places to sit and be alone. He had soon started planning lunch dates for Scorpius and himself. He most favorite thing was to bring Gabriel to the park playground and let him interact with the other children. Much like he was doing now with Andrew.

"Look at me, look at me. This is so many funs!" Andrew exclaimed as he held onto the monkey bars.

The couple held hands at a nearby bench as they watch Andrew play around with the other kids.

"I didn't think he would be this well adjusted this quickly. If I lost my dad, I would be a mess." Scorpius said keeping the smile on his face as his grip tighten on Albus' left hand feeling the engagement ring press into his hand.

Albus nodded, "I agree. All the times I wanted to run away, and the one time we kind of did, I still knew my parents and where they were. I can't imagine not having them. I guess it helps that he doesn't have any memories at all. As sad as that sounds."

Scorpius nodded, he rarely thought of the time during their fourth year at Hogwarts when things weren't ideal. Sometimes James and Freddie cracked jokes at the two of them for it, but hardly did he like to remember erasing his best friend from existence.

"Still he is very comfortable with us. It has only been three days Al, and he is..."

"Acting like a normal child. Trusting and happy?" Albus smiled over at Scorpius. He was used to filling in the gaps in his thinking aloud.

Scorpius nodded, "He isn't the only one who is becoming well adjusted. You and I have added him into our lives rather fast. It's like he has been here forever. I fear it will make it hard for all of us when it is time to say goodbye."

There was a moment of silence shared between the two as the kids yelled at the park with excitement to be out on a Saturday.

"I thought of that too. But what if this isn't temporary. Hermione sent over an owl this morning. It's what woke me up, well that and the waffles."

Scorpius looked surprised, "what did it say?"

"Nothing much, just that she had something for us tomorrow to look at the Burrow. She said she would explain more when she saw us all. She also asked if Andrew had remembered anything and that there were no leads. Which we know because of dad." Albus continued, "Would it be a bad thing if he was a permanent part of our lives?"

Scorpius looked skeptical about the question, not wanting to say the wrong thing. "Al, we haven't talked about kids or a family, and I assumed that you wanted to wait until we were at least married to have that discussion."

"I wasn't planning for it to be so soon, but I have always imagined a little one, or two, running around the house. Andrew just got here before we got a chance to plan it. Do you not want children?" Albus looked over concerned.

"I do, love." Scorpius sighed and stood up, it was nearly time to gather Andrew and head home. "And I think Andy is great, the cutest thing I have seen. And I would love to have him as ours. But it's only been three days. Anything can happen and I am afraid that we are all going to lose each other and it will break all of our hearts the more attached we get."

Albus didn't want to admit it aloud but he had the same fear. He knew there was a possibility that Andrew's parents would come back and want to take him home. But he knew he couldn't show that to his already panicked fiancé.

"How about we do not get too ahead of ourselves. I'm sorry for bringing all that up. Let's enjoy the time we have together and see what Hermione has to say when we see her at the Burrow."

Scorpius relaxed a bit and smiled. "Sure." He handed the bags over to Albus and headed towards the playground sand to retrieve the little boy. "Just to clarify, there is nothing more in the world that I would love than to be your husband and the papa to our kids."

He turned around and heard his fiancé yell towards him, "oh please, I am definitely the papa here."

Typically Albus and Scorpius would have apparated to the Potter home but decided to floo for the sake of Andrew.

Andrew held Scorpius' hand as they went through the floo and immediately came face-to-face with James.

"Hey Scorp, always a pleasure." He wore his brightest James smile.

Scorpius loved James. He had truly become a brother to him in the last few years. But Scorpius felt a panic arise in him in thinking he was going to have Andrew here alone without adult supervision.

"Hi James, what are you doing here?"

Scorpius reached down to take the jacket off of Andrew. He and Albus picked up a few more items needed for the boy on the way home from the park.

"He is here to be a nosy prat." Lily walked into the room. "I on the other hand am here to see the little boy that has stolen mum's heart." Lily adjusted her dress and bent down to meet the eyes of the little boy who still held Scorpius' hand. "Hello cutie, I am Lily. Albus is my big brother it is nice to meet you. That tall creature over there is James, my other brother. He is super fun, but be careful he likes to have a laugh.

"I... Well, I guess that is true. Nice to meet you squirt." James said coming over to the little boy. "Scorp, mum, and Al are in the kitchen waiting for you to give her a list of do's and don'ts for this one." James joked as he held his hand out for Andrew to accept. "You wanna come with me and Lu and explore the Potter house. Whatever you find of dads you can keep."

The little boy looked curious at James and Lily and looked over to Scorpius for confirmation.

Scorpius nodded in approval and Andrew let James lift him onto his shoulders and started to dash around the house making the boy laugh out loud with glee.

Walking into the kitchen, Ginny was finishing up what looked like dinner.

"Oh dear, good to see you. I assume my children have kidnapped Andrew already. It's the eyes they can't help it." Ginny said hugging Scorpius.

"Sorry we took a moment, the second we stepped in the floo after you Al, Andrew had to use the restroom. Everything should be fine now."

Albus smiled at him, "Mum was just telling me that she had a whole night planned for her and Andy, but when James and Lily showed up she figured they would just wing it. After dinner of course."

"Sounds lovely Ginny, I am happy to say I am glad you are here, when I saw James I thought he would be in charge for the night."

Ginny laughed, "Oh please, I made the mistake of leaving James here at the house with little Molly one summer he was home from school and I think Percy still never forgave us for Jamie turning her hair purple the day before she went to meet Auds muggle grandparents." She checked

the food that was on the stove. "Your dad has been working late since you all found Andrew, but he said he would be home early tonight to help out. I am going to owl him and let him know that your brother and sister are here so there is no need to rush. But I think he wants to see him again as well, so it might be for nothing.

The three of them chatted for a few moments longer before Ginny looked over at the clock. "Oh, boys it's time for you to leave before you are late."

Albus and Scorpius walked out of the kitchen and saw Andrew no longer on James' shoulders but sitting on the couch between James and Lily looking at a family album.

Choosing to ignore the teasing that was surely coming from his siblings at a younger moody-er Albus's photos, he reached down and ruffled the little boy's hair, promising to see him in a few hours.

Scorpius on the other hand, hand crotched down and started going over everything that they had packed in Andrews' bag for the short stay, he hugged the boy a dozen times and told him repeatedly that if he needed anything he could have Ginny or Harry come and get them from the manor and they would come running.

"Come on babe, we have to get to your dad's in the next two minutes," Albus said approaching as his fiancé was crouching down to talk to Andrew.

"Oh, this is harder than I thought it would be," Scorpius said as he tried to stand and leave the child.

"Chill Scorp, it's only for a few hours. I promise he will have all his limbs when you get back. I do have a few testers from Freddie and the shop, so I cannot promise that he will be the same color, but eh, it's fine. Gran won't freak too much if he comes to the house a shade of green. She's used to it." James smirked as he walked over to Scorpius and offered a hand to lift him from the ground.

"James!" Ginny's voice could be heard from the kitchen and he and Andrew both giggled.

Albus shook his head and took Scorpius' hand, " I am not going to even begin to worry that both my brother and Andy laughed at the same time at mom yelling. Even though it is very concerning to me."

The couple walked over to the floo and with one more wave goodbye, they were gone. —

Coming through the floo at the Manor was not usual for Scorpius. It was his home after all, even after living with Albus for the past three years.

What was usual was finding the dining hall set and ready for dinner. The grand dining room was hardly used until Scorpius' parents moved in together. It was hard to get his dad in there for a

while. After Astoria passed away, the men used it only on special occasions choosing instead to have dinner together in Draco's study near the fireplace. It was intimate and the small space allowed Draco and his son to talk without all the formalities.

Today must be a special occasion since Draco had gone through all the trouble to get it ready.

"Hello boys, the floo alarms let me know you were inside the manor. I see you both have noticed the dining room set. I figured we would do something nice this time and after that, we can have normal dinners at the smaller table."

Albus had his arm wrapped around his fiancé's waist, "It looks great in here. I haven't had a meal in here since after me and Scor graduated."

"I believe that was the last time we were in here properly," Draco commented back smiling at the memory. "How is Andrew doing? I hope he wasn't too cross with you two leaving him for the night?"

Scorpius looked up at his father, "Oh no, he was rather happy the last we saw him. He was laughing and playing with James and Lily. Ginny and Harry have a whole night planned with him, by the time we get back he should be fast asleep."

"I just realized, they are having a family night without me!" Albus pretending to look offended, "Have I been replaced by a cuter version of myself?"

Both father and son laughed, "he is cute, very cute love, and with the hair, he does look like you. Seems you have been replaced." Scorpius said kissing the top of his head, "I'll never replace you though." He finished sweetly.

Before anyone could respond, the room was entered by an older woman who looked so identical to Scorpius' mother he almost gasped out loud.

His aunt Daphne and his older cousin Laurel were spitting images of Astoria. The Greengrass family's genes were strong.

Albus and Scorpius quickly moved apart from one another as Scorpius moved closer to his aunt and cousin to greet them properly.

"Hello Auntie Daphne, it's great to see you after so long."

His aunt smiled at him and grabbed him in a hug, "You too dear. How has everything been? Actually, hold it until we sit. I want to hear everything."

Once she released him, he was in another bone-crushing hug, by his cousin Laurel.

"Hey cousin, I have missed you! I haven't seen you since we were in school and barely then, me being older and all."

Albus noticed that Draco had slipped out of the room.

He smiled and returned the hug. Just like him, Laurel was a tall and slender girl. Her face was a younger version of her mother and his as well.

"It is so nice to see you both and to have you here at the manor. It will make it easy for us to catch up and reconnect."

"I was surprised to hear that you are not living here with your father anymore. The house is so big, it's a wonder why you needed more space away from him." Daphne said eyeing Albus for the first time.

Scorpius smiled politely knowing it was time to introduce his partner. "I didn't move out of Dad's house because of the space, I moved out to live with Albus." He turned slightly behind him and reached out for Albus' hand, grateful when he took it.

"Aunt Daphne, Laurel, this is Albus Potter. My fiancé."

If there was a surprise between the two women, the couple never saw it. What they did see was Laurel smirking at her mother.

"I told you, mum, they were more than friends. Everyone at school could see it." She laughed, "that and I heard James and Fred teasing Albus about his crush one day after lunch." Laurel walked over to Albus and gave him a big hug, "It's nice to see you again, Albus. And I guess to officially meet you again as well."

"Same. I'm glad Scor has family staying close by with the wedding coming up soon. I know he has to get tired of dealing with mine all the time. I surely do, and after that reminder of my brother and cousin's constant teasing, I am thinking of hiding out at the manor for a few weeks to avoid them." He joked.

"Alright everyone, time for dinner," Draco said coming into the room carrying the large roasted chicken.

"Albus did you know I was in your father's year at Hogwarts? Along with Draco?" Daphne said as she took a sip of her wine.

Albus shook his head at her. The conversation had been going smoothly, the family caught up with what was new, leaving out the new addition of Andrew that was.

Albus was fine listening for once, as the family told stories of their time together when Astoria was alive.

He was also surprised to hear that Scorpius and Laurel were rather close growing up. During school, the two barely interacted even with them being in the same house.

"No, I didn't know you knew my dad."

"Well I didn't know him, we definitely did not belong to the same social circles, but it was impossible to not know Harry and hear some of the things he and his friends got up to." Albus remained silent, "Draco and I were in the same house and we barely had any real interactions until he began dating my sister, many years later. I liked to stick to myself back then. Astoria was the more social one"

Albus understood. Between Lily's positivity and James' in-your-face personality, he often found it better to be in the shadows when they were growing up. He supposed it was a sibling thing.

"Well in mine and Harry's defense, we were a bit preoccupied with other things during our time at Hogwarts. There was a war going on." Draco reminded her as he set a piece of cake in front of the people at the table.

"Yes, Yes. I am aware." Daphne looked at the cake and didn't touch it.

"So how did you two finally get together?" Laurel asked, having no problem with her cake. Albus realized she didn't share her mother's need to be alone. She was infectious, it made you want to talk to her.

"We didn't get together until the start of the sixth year. It kind of just happened. It was a transition from friends to more. I wasn't sure if he was falling for me, or if he was just changing. Luckily he took a shot, or I might have ended up with Rose."

Both boys laughed, knowing that that scenario was never going to happen.

Albus grabbed his hand on the top of the table, "honestly, I just went for it. I had no clue if the feeling was mutual but I had been fighting to tell him the whole year prior. By the time the summer came, I had spent the majority of it here at the manor, and I couldn't stand not knowing. It worked out for the best."

Scorpius fought the urge to kiss him in front of his family and instead squeezed his hand tighter.

"When will you two be tying the knot?" Daphne asked interested, "I hope it is soon, from what your father tells me, you two have not been keeping up with the planning."

"Dad's right, we haven't been. We have been working so hard, and other things have recently come up that we just pushed it to the side, I'm hoping to get back on track soon. Once things calm down." Scorpius said smiling at his aunt, though the smile didn't reach his eyes as usual.

"Well with me and Laurel here, we would be happy to help. I think your mother would have liked that. Plus we need something to do, other than take up space here." Daphne offered. This caused the boys to look back at her in shock.

"Oh yes of course, well we will let you know when we are ready, right hon?" Scorpius looked over to his fiancé for help.

" Definitely. My mum and gran would kill us both if we didn't run everything by them, so maybe we can all get together and plan some wedding things then."

Draco looked up at the clock, he had been especially quiet the entire night, which wasn't unusual but seemed odd for all the work he put into things.

"Boys it is getting late, and I am sure you need to get home. You have to be at the Burrow early tomorrow and I don't want your gran yelling at me for keeping you so late tonight." He said gesturing towards the clock.

Luckily Draco mentioned it because Albus had definitely remembered they still needed to swing back to his parent's house to get Andrew.

"Awh man, I was just about to get the dirt on everyone from you boys. Maybe we can all hang out just the three of us very soon." Laurel said as she to stood up from the table.

Both men smiled at her brightly, "We would love that, I will send over an owl in a few days. Or Just stop by after work and we can get drinks. Maybe Albus can even round up a few of his cousins and James. We can make a whole night of it." Scorpius suggested.

Laurel beamed with excitement at the possibility of getting out of the house and seeing people her age. "Sounds perfect."

With one final goodbye to his aunt and cousin, they headed out of the dining hall and off to bed for the night.

"Dad, thanks for having us for dinner. It wasn't as bad as I thought. Though I think Aunt Daphne needs to warm up to us a bit more."

Draco nodded, "Yes, well it must be hard for her to see you. I imagine you remind her of your mother, just as much as she does for you."

"I guess I didn't hide my shock as well as I had thought." Albus shook his head at him. "I didn't mean to gawk, I guess I forgot how similar the two of them looked to one another."

"It's alright son." Draco glanced at the clock once more, "head out so you two can go pick up Andrew before James turns him rotten." Draco joked as he lead them to the floo.

"Thanks for having us Draco, we will see you in a few days I'm sure," Albus said hugging Draco and walking in the floo and calling out his parent's place, giving father and son a moment together.

"He does know that I consider him a son, and this being his home as well? I mean I could barely get him to leave when you two were just friends, and once you started dating I just stopped trying." He laughed as he hugged his only son.

"He knows, I just think he feels like he has to be overly proper around you because of how you hold yourself. His family is chaotic and he fits well with them, but over here he gets to find a bit of peace." Scorpius stepped into the floo. "It never hurts to remind someone that you care about them Dad, remember that. I'll see you soon."

"Love you son."
