A/n: A short one. Please ignore my mistakes and enjoy.

It was the next morning; Madhav had just woken up. He had completely forgotten about what he was going to do today and then it him. His heart started beating faster than usual; he was scared and nervous. He was now doubting himself. Will he be able to confront Prabh? Will Prabh listen to him? All these questions were swarming Madhav's mind. This day was going to be a rollercoaster for Madhav and he has to sit tight and just try to enjoy the ride.

Madhav freshened up and ate breakfast, it was still early and Prabh's mother will be going at 10 O'clock. There was plenty of time for Madhav to stress even more. He decided that he will be go upstairs and try to clear his mind. Bonus was that Parth was not home and Madhav was able to spend alone time. As the time passed, Madhav became more and more tense. It felt like he was back in 10th class and was waiting for his result to be uploaded. He tried to divert his mind by listening to music and reading a novel. But his all-time favorite activities were also not able to ease Madhav's nervousness.

Madhav was not sure how Prabh was going to react to all this. He would probably kick him out of the house and tell him to never to show him his face again. This thought gave Madhav chills. Madhav remembered the poem he wrote for the school magazine and it had got Madhav praises from the teachers. He wrote this poem about his love, Prabh. Madhav didn't know he could write a poetry but he did.

You are the God that I believe

Your love is the religion I abide

To get to you stony path I must perceive

I am a pilgrim who walk this path alone

No injury, no pain can halt me

I must walk and walk until I atone

Once I am at your shrine

Quest of my love will complete

I will be with my love

For the rest of my life

This poem was very special to Madhav, everything that he had written was true. Prabh was everything for him and he was willing to do everything to be with his love.

Things were so different back then when he wrote this poem. Although, things were not great either. He thought he will never get to see Prabh again but here he was in the same village, waiting to go and see Prabh. Madhav didn't realize what time it was and Parth came up.

"Are you dumb? Its 10:35 you were supposed to go at Prabh's." said Parth panting. "Don't tell me you are having second thoughts."

"Oh sorry, I was not keeping track of time and I had no watch here. No never." Madhav tried to justify himself.

"Well go on then, go to Prabh's house."

"Wait are you not coming with me?"

"You have to go by yourself. I have some errand to do." Parth was already downstairs and went outside. Madhav mustered up courage and went outside. Madhav's heart was beating very fast. Every step he was taking towards Prabh's house required more and more force. His body seemed way heavier than usual. At last, he was standing in front of Prabh's house. The gate was opened; must be Prabh's mother who intentionally left it open. Madhav went inside and he closed the gate behind him. He was nervous, very nervous and a little thrilled as well. He was determined to talk to Prabh and wanted to tell everything that he had kept inside his heart all this time.

He went near the door that led inside, it was quite and only sounds were coming from outside. A faint music was playing inside the house, must be Prabh listening at low volume. Madhav was very scared and nervous now; his hands were shaking as he tried to reach for the door's handle. Madhav brought the little force left inside his body and pulled the door. He was now standing inside; music was shut off as soon as Madhav entered. Prabh must have heard someone coming in. Madhav was still standing when he heard footsteps coming his way and then they stopped. Prabh was not visible but Madhav could see his blurry reflection on the tiles.

"Who is there?" asked Prabh. His tone was assertive, he was on defense. Madhav cleared his throat.

"It's me." Madhav's tone was very faint.

"Who?" said Prabh and he stepped in front of Madhav. Madhav looked at Prabh, he was looking at Madhav dumbfounded. He was not expecting to see Madhav at his home. Prabh blinked a few times in order to make sure that he was not dreaming about it. For a moment, Madhav sensed real excitement and joy in Prabh's eyes after seeing him but soon enough Prabh hardened up and he instantly became little angry.

"How did you get in?" Prabh questioned.

"Gate was open." stammered Madhav and he taking steps towards Prabh. Prabh backed up a little and Madhav stopped right there. Suddenly the surroundings went dark, the dark clouds must have obscured the sun. It was going to rain; it was a thunderstorm. The room was dark now, all Madhav could see was just silhouette of Prabh which moved to side and turned the light on.

"Get out!" said Prabh, it was not an order but a plea. Madhav was not going back now. He must accomplish what he came to do.

"I am not going anywhere." Madhav was concrete with his words.

"You have to." barked Prabh. Madhav flinched but he knew that if he backs this time, he will never be able to get Prabh.

Madhav made his way towards Prabh and stopped just when he was close to him. Madhav looked up and stared into the eyes of Prabh which were looking back at him. Madhav wanted that old flaree bavck in that eye which are now dark and dull.

"You know I have missed you a lot." whispered Madhav and he tried to hold Prabh's hand which he resisted. But Madhav kept trying and at last was successful. Madhav's legs were shaking and his hands were sweating.

"I never stopped loving you." Madhav bought Prabh's hand near his chest. His heart was beating rapidly and Prabh could sense that.

"Whenever I see you it's the same feeling and I would never get used to it." There was a sigh from Prabh.

"Please leave." Prabh recoiled his hand.

"I will certainly not." Madhav held his ground. "You have to share with me what happened all these years." Prabh didn't said anything.

"You can't keep going on like this and you can't bottle up your feelings. You are hurting yourself, me and all other people who love about you and care about you." Prabh was moving backing away and he turned his back towards Madhav.

"Don't...go." Madhav held Prabh's hand and he hugged him from behind. Prabh was tensed up.

"Please." said Madhav and he could feel Prabh relaxing. "tell me what has happened... talk to me... please."

"I-" stammered Prabh, his voice was hoarse and then all Madhav was could comprehend that Prabh was wrapped around him closely. Tears rushing down his eyes. Madhav hugged him back and tried to console him. Prabh stopped crying and then looked at Madhav. They both went to sit on the couch. Both were staring in each other's eyes. Madhav could sense his old Prabh back and he got emotional.

"Well, a lot has happened since that awful night." Prabh starting telling Madhav...

TBC.

A/n: It took way long to complete this single chapter. I started writing this chapter in start of May and after more than a month I am able to complete it. I had to write this twice because my dumbass once forgot to save. Hope you guys were not kept waiting for long and I promise I will end this story soon. I am also excited to start writing on the story Return of Grindelwald.

And I see some people are not changing their habit which they promised to change. "We will surely stay in touch after the school is over." I am doubting this statement now.

Anyways, bye see you guys' next time.

Stay Safe.
