*Thoughts*

"Speech"

".Plushtrap Speak."

Bonnie strummed on his guitar, humming.

Chica, who just so happened to be in the same room as him (it was just a coincidence, really), gave him a glance.

"Can you actually play that thing or are you just messing around?"

The bunny paused, looking at her.

"Uh, yeah, I can play. And her name is Bethany, thank you very much."

The chicken stared at him, mouth open slightly in a "Seriously?" look.

"You named your guitar?"

"Uh, yeah? You named your cupcake, didn't you?"

She rolled her eyes.

"Carol is alive, unlike your dumb instrument."

The bunny narrowed his eyes and growled.

"She is not dumb!!"

"It's not even a she!!"

"Yes she is!! You're just insensitive!!"

"Am not!!"

"Are too!!"

"Am not!!"

"Are too!!"

"Am not--"

A thud followed by arguing a few minutes later sounded from the room above them, momentarily distracting the two.

Bonnie's ears twitched.

"That Foxy and Jack?"

"Sounds like it."

A thought came to the chicken.

"Why do you call her that?"

He looked at her, tilting his head to the right.

"Dude, our name's both "Bonnie". D'ya know how weird it is to call someone your own name?"

She raised a brow.

"Jack-o-Chica."

He paused.

"...Oh, right."

Scratching his ear, he continued.

"But I just figured, "Hey, she does have that Jack-o thing in her name, so it could be less weird if I just called 'er that", so I asked. She said it was fine, so...yeah."

Chica blinked.

"Huh. I guess that makes sense."

A glance at his guitar reminded her of their initial argument.

"So, you can play that thing?"

He huffed.

"Yeah. I'll bet I can sing, too."

A smirk made its way onto her face.

"Oh yeah?"

He narrowed his eyes, silently accepting her challenge.

"Yeah."

Her smirk grew.

"Got any songs written?"

The bunny puffed out his chest.

"No. But that doesn't matter!!"

It grew even more.

"Think you can just pull one out of your head?"

He blew a raspberry.

"I'll bet I can!!"

It grew even more, splitting a bit to show her fangs.

"Well, have at it."

His ears twitched as he looked at her.

"Like, right now?"

She barely held back a laugh.

"Why not? You scared?"

That made him get defensive.

"Am not!!"

"Are too!!"

"Am not!!"

"Are too!!"

Growling, he stood up, hoisting his guitar up and fitting the strap around his shoulders again.

Her smirk turned into a grin.

*This'll be good...*

Bonnie began to strum, getting a small feel for a tune.

*No...no...wait.*

He replayed a small measure.

A grin made its way onto his face.

*That's it!*

He began playing faster, the initial beat spreading into a full fledged song.

He continued for a moment; a small surge flew through his veins.

Words soon began flowing into his brain; working them around, he began to sing.

"There is a legend,

A legend born long ago...

About a wicked,

A wicked man no one knows,

Went and unraveled

six innocent little souls..."

His playing continued; that small surge became more intense.

"The souls found bodies,

The bodies started to move...

Some say they still walk,

Walk the halls staying from view...

I got a secret,

That I am here to tell you--

That place is this very place

And all the stories are true."

Chica found herself mesmerized by the bunny, completely obsessed with his smooth and natural movements.

"This world's a scary place,

We're not monsters, just changed

Bigger hands for grabbing a hold...

We were lost to foul play,

But we got an upgrade

Lots more teeth for eating you whole..."

Chica realized that the bunny had a faint, pink aura glowing around him.

Her eyes widened when she realized what was happening.

Bonnie, however, had closed his eyes, and was completely unaware of this fact.

"Here comes another chapter..."

The surge inside him grew.

"Your heart is beating faster..."

The glow around him intensified

"Cause you're the one we're after..."

A thought occured to Chica.

*Wait, when we get our powers, don't we usually--*

"Thank you for bringing us home!!"

When the bunny began to shred, the surge and the aura joined together.

Bonnie's eyes snapped open.

He felt detached from his body somehow; like he was a floating spirit.

Looking around, he found he was no longer in the room with Chica; he was now in a floating void of pink...music?

The confused bunny shivered as a wind of pink musical notes and bars swirled around him, tickling his fur.

They then floated across from him, proceeding to morph into a pulsing pink bunny.

The newcomer grinned at him excitedly while the former looked a bit more confused.

The pink one extended its hand to him; it pulsed with energy.

Bonnie hesitated for a moment; however, the thought of being stuck here forever if he didn't comply prompted him to take it.

A bright light filled his vision.

When he opened his eyes, he found himself standing in a charred room, the couch knocked over, the unused lamp broken, and the walls burnt and smoking.

His eyes widened when he realized his yellow friend was nowhere to be seen.

"Chica?!"

He began frantically looking around, scared of finding her burnt corpse.

The chicken poked her head back into the room, assessing the damage.

"Geeze, glad I jumped ship--"

She found herself pounced on by her blue friend, who frantically searched her for injuries.

"Are you okay?! Did you get hurt?! Are you burnt?! Are you--"

She shoved him away.

"I'm good, I'm good!! Chill out!!"

She looked at his guitar.

"I guess that thing's good for something after all."

He rolled his eyes.

"Duh--"

His ears perked up at the sound of running; the two turned to find the others (save Foxy, JBonnie, and Nightmarionne) running towards them.

"Are you guys okay?!" Nightmare frantically asked, screeching to a halt before them.

The others followed suit, but still managed to bump into each other.

Chica couldn't resist a grin, punching Bonnie in the arm.

"Someone just got his--"

A cracking sound distracted them all; their heads turned to see the ceiling in the room cracking and splitting.

When it caved in, Foxy and JBonnie came down with it; the two landed in an awkward position, with the orange bunny lying sideways across his torso.

Their attention turned to their friends, who were staring at them.

Foxy immediately kicked the girl off.

"Ain't wha' i' looks like!!"

After another moment of staring, they turned their attention back to Bonnie and Chica.

Bonnie gave a sheepish grin.

"Like Chica was saying, I think I got my powers..."

In the library, the others had heard the two's story of what happened; Freddy furrowed his brows.

"It happened when you were singing?"

"And playin', yeah." Bonnie replied, swinging his legs, sitting atop a table.

"Can you use them now?"

The bunny frowned, holding his hands out; he closed his eyes and tried to summon them, but to no avail.

"I kinda feel somethin' in there, but..."

"They won't come out?" JChica offered up.

"Pretty much, yeah." He replied, dropping his arms.

Nightmare went into thought.

"Try with your guitar?"

Shrugging, he complied, picking up his guitar; he began to play, focusing on his powers.

Hearing the others gasp, he cracked his eye open to find a small glow surrounding him.

He stopped, and it died out.

"So you can only use them through your guitar," Freddy mused. "Interesting..."

"Like a familiar?"

All heads turned to Mangle, who shrugged.

"I was reading a magic book, and it talked about these things called familiars--"

"Wait, a book about magic or a book that was magic?" BB asked, perplexed.

"About magic! Well, at least I don't think it was magic. But anyways, I read about these things magic people bond with called familiars; they can use their powers through them and stuff."

That settled with the others, making them think.

"Well, I do feel pretty close to Bethany," Bonnie piped up.

"Wait, so are Carol and Pédro me and Chica's familiars?" JChica asked.

"I think so," the vixen replied.

Bonnie looked at his guitar again; a small grin grew on his face.

*This is awesome.*

Indeed, my bunny friend. Indeed.

Yes, Bonnie can only use his powers with the help of objects--mainly musical ones. He's attuned to Bethany though, so mainly her.

In case anybody happens to ask: NO I AM NOT A HARRY POTTER FAN. I CAN'T STAND IT. I BLAME MY FRIENDS WHO ARE FANS BECAUSE THEY SHOVED IT IN MY FACE EVEN THOUGH THEY KNEW I DIDN'T LIKE IT.

Although I took a test once because my friend wouldn't stop nagging me and it said I'm a Slytherin? The house bad guys are from, apparently, which I'm totally cool with because that must mean I'm at least a little badass.

I deliberately put this chapter before a certain one with Fredbear and Nightmare because "Bringing Us Home" by TryHardNinja (I still love you dude (even though you'll never see this)) was the first song in the original, and I wanted to keep it that way even though I changed where it occurred.

Anyways, I don't really know if I need to cover anything else, so...See ya next Chappie!!
