A/N: So, a few disclaimers before we get started, since the summary doesn't really say much.

First and foremost, the nature of this crossover: Rhaast from the League of Legends universe in RWBY. How he crossed over in the first place technically doesn't matter, but the meeting between him and Ruby does and will be detailed later. The chance for other League champions or residents of Runeterra remains low, but not impossible.

Second, Ruby will not be attending Beacon in this story. Ozpin is a lot of things, but foolish to the point of letting a weapon of armageddon into his school is not one of them.

Third, to give Ruby a reason to be tempted to use Rhaast, I've finally gotten over my fear of poorly written racism allegory plotlines and have made Ruby a Faunus. And White Fang. If it sucks, it sucks. ¯\_()_/¯

Oh, and there's going to be a lot of edgy dialogue in this one. Comes packaged with Rhaast. Though personally, I think that's what makes him so funny.

That should cover everything in terms of summary. The rest of the chapter is yours!

"Sir!"

Adam Taurus turned around at the sound of one of his men bursting into the tent, one hand on Wilt's handle, while the other held a partially unfurled blueprint. What he could see of the recruit's face was flushed with sweat, and he was panting heavily as he quickly saluted Adam. A quick scan of him revealed nothing out of the ordinary; the man was uninjured and nothing about him seemed out of the ordinary, apart from the sense of urgency Adam felt from his entrance.

"Calm yourself, brother." Adam said firmly. "Now, what seems to be the issue?"

As a leader, he knew all too well of the careful balance he had to strike when addressing his fellow White Fang. Too aggressive and people start to doubt your ability to lead properly. Too passive and you could find yourself undermined by the more ambitious lot in the group. Too pessimistic and people lose faith in the cause. Too optimistic and even the most hardened Faunus find themselves getting complacent. They start treating the Fang more like the protest movement of old, and not the revolution it's supposed to be.

"We," the recruit took a deep breath and straightened up. "We found three humans outside of camp!"

Adam's eye narrowed behind his mask and he set the blueprint down, attention fully directed on the man, who shrank a little under his gaze. What exactly was so noteworthy about their unwanted guests that it warranted his attention?

"And why haven't you dealt with them?"

"W-We're not sure what to do with them, sir! The thing is, they actually requested an audience with you. They said they needed the White Fang's help, and they were willing to offer something in return." He said. "We've got them waiting in one of the spare tents to the south. You know, the one with the really big map of Remnant that we don't use for anything?"

Adam sighed. "Return to your post. I'll handle this."

"Yessir!" Another salute and the man was out of his tent in an instant.

This… was problematic. Not only did he have tomorrow's mission to prepare for, but depending on how things went with these humans he might have to call it off. Under normal circumstances, they would have to break camp and move elsewhere if they were discovered by humans or unsympathetic Faunus, who would undoubtedly alert the local law enforcement to their location. Yet here was a human—a group of humans, actually, looking for his help. Were they sympathizers to the cause? Probably not. Most likely they had some ulterior motive for seeking him out.

And that was another thing. Being able to find them out in the wilderness was no small feat, especially for a group as small as three. There was a reason the Academies placed students in teams of four; Remnant was dangerous enough for even seasoned Huntsman or anyone of their caliber, like himself. He'd have to assume the intruders were at least on a similar level, and work from there once he meets them face-to-face.

Adam paused on the way over to the tent flap, his highly trained senses barely picking up on the faint sound of chewing from the back corner to his right.

"Penny for your thoughts?" A girl's voice called, intermixed with the sounds of her snacking. "You're not actually going to hear them out, are you?"

"That depends on what they have to say." Adam replied, not bothering to look behind him as he continued towards the exit. "Also, I want you with me there, Ruby."

A blur of rose petals flew in front of his face, and Ruby materialized in front of him, her mask covered in crumbs.

"Really? Adam Taurus, scared of a measly three humans?" She taunted, before pulling another cookie out of the jar in her hands to munch on.

"It's because of their numbers that I want you there. The Grimm would have torn them apart if they weren't dangerous." He explained, as they walked out of the tent. "And I want your insight, should their offer prove interesting."

She turned to face him and bounced on her feet, using her Semblance to burst ahead each time he took a step. It was a rather odd sight, seeing a fifteen year old girl hovering around the leader of Vale's White Fang like an excited puppy, but thankfully it was late and most of the camp was asleep or in their own tents. It also helped that most of his men were scared of her, even on a good day.

"What do we do if things go south?" She asked, a hint of malice creeping into her voice.

"…No killing. You know Blake is already expressing her doubts about what we're doing. Now is not the time. And clean off your mask before we go in."

She frowned and grumbled, but wiped off her mask with her sleeve, before pulling out a bag of chocolate chips as they came around to the tent in question.

He entered through the back flap of the tent, and took up position directly in front of the map, while Ruby hung off to the side, already completely uninterested in anything other than her chocolate. He was greeted by the three humans in question, along with two of his own men standing guard beside them. The human front and center—clearly the leader—motioned towards the other two, who promptly bowed their heads and kneeled, though not before shooting disbelieving looks at Ruby.

"Adam Taurus. You were quite the difficult man to find…" The leader spoke in a soft, silky voice, and he could already feel his hackles rising. This one was dangerous.

"My name is Cinder Fall." She said, giving a short bow. "I must say, you've quite the encampment set up here. I'm impressed."

"Did you really think you could win me over with false praise?" He growled, crossing his arms. "Say your piece already, human. Some of us have important work to get back to."

Cinder continued on, unintimidated. "I need the White Fang's help for a job in Vale. One that requires individuals who don't mind getting their hands dirty. I need an army."

Adam could feel his temper flair at each word, and began pacing, suppressing his desire to lash out at these arrogant humans. This offer was never going to be about the Faunus in the first place. They just needed more bodies to throw at whatever enemy they were fighting.

"So, let me get this straight." He began. "You could've gone to anyone for help. You could've made a deal with a gang leader, paid off some Huntsmen that have strayed from their... righteous path... but instead, you choose to seek an audience with me."

"You're the one we need." Cinder said. "Your skill, your ability to lead those beneath you. You're an exceptionally valuable man, Adam. And we've put a lot of thought into—"

"Then you're clearly not thinking straight!" He roared, raising his fist in the air while the other gripped Wilt. "If you truly understood me, you would know coming here was a mistake. The White Fang is not an organization for hire. We're a force of revolution!"

A pause, as Adam watched her face for any sign of weakness. But aside from a quick glance between her lackeys, none showed.

"I believe our plan will be beneficial for all parties involved." She explained.

Adam stayed silent, beckoning her to continue, but he was still doubtful. The White Fang didn't have any major targets directly in Vale at the moment, so what could they possibly stand to gain from working with any of the human criminals from there?

"I have... an associate in Vale. He and I are working on a revolution of our own. But we can't do it without your help. We need—"

It was at that moment that Adam's patience snapped. But risking a fight here would completely eliminate any chance of completing tomorrow's raid.

"What you need… is to leave." He said. He brandished Wilt and Blush, but shot a cautionary glare at Ruby, who was now leaning forward with vested interest. "You're asking my men to fight and die for your cause—a human cause. That is not an idea I am willing to entertain."

Cinder's calm expression cracked, twisting into a low scowl, and Adam prepared for the worst. Yet she simply bowed and took her leave, along with her two companions. Not trusting her for even a second, he stepped out of the tent and watched them disappear into the woods. Only then did he let out a small sigh.

"Well, that was exciting." Ruby said, having followed him outside. "You think they'll be back?"

"We won't be around to find out." He said, before pulling out a piece of paper and jotting down the location of their next encampment. "Change of plans. Blake and I will raid the train. Alone. I'm leaving you in charge of the rest of the group. Break camp by sunrise and move to these coordinates."

He handed her the slip of paper. Ruby gave it a once-over before it disappeared into her uniform.

"And if they manage to find us again?" She asked out of curiosity.

"…What does your little friend have to say?" Adam shot back.

"Oh, just the usual drabble about 'targeting the strong' and—what? It's true! You literally never shut up about it, Rhaast. No, I'm not being petty!"

When she first appeared before him, Adam had easily dismissed her nonsensical one-sided conversations as a coping mechanism, or perhaps a weird quirk that geniuses like her tended to have.

But he had seen with his own eye the truth of the matter not long after. It was why he made her his second-in-command for their time in the field. The 'weapon' she wielded was far too monstrous to be let loose among the Fang unsupervised. And to this day, he kept her secret tightly under wraps. If Sienna Khan knew what they were hiding…

Ruby turned back to him, internal argument apparently over, and gave a wolfish grin. "The three of us can take 'em."

"Good."

It was at this moment that Blake chose to appear, without her mask. A sign of her wavering faith, he supposed. And another thing to add to his growing list of problems.

"Adam? Ruby? What was that about?"

"…Nothing." He began walking back to his tent. "We need to finish preparing. The train will be here at dawn."

The Spider Droid fell to the floor with a mighty crash, its body cut cleanly in two by Adam's final attack. And just like that, the last of Atlas's defenses were destroyed, leaving the two of them free to carry out their mission. Were this to happen even a year earlier, Blake would have been elated at the sight of her mentor standing victorious over the scraps of Atlesian machinery. They were finally, finally fighting back against years of oppression and injustice, against people who would rather see the Faunus dead, than see them stand on equal footing. They were doing the right thing…

Except she couldn't ignore that sickening feeling, the way her stomach dropped when Adam casually dismissed the fact that the train's crew members would likely die at their hands. She couldn't ignore how his methods had slowly but surely become more violent, as they devoted more of their time, more of their lives to the Fang, while nothing about the world around them changed.

Blake wasn't ready to admit defeat; to say that their current approach wasn't working. Not yet. But she wasn't going to sacrifice innocent lives to get there. There had to be another way—one that would get the results they wanted without compromising what morals they had left.

"Adam. We can't do this."

She nearly froze under his sharp glare. "And what exactly do you mean by 'this', Blake?"

He stalked forward aggressively, and she backed up without thinking, which only served to anger him further.

"B-Blowing up the train. It's wrong." She said, looking away.

"Wrong? This is a Schnee Dust Company train." Adam laughed. "And on it, the Dust, the security detail, the employees—everything here is SDC property! They chose this, Blake, even with the truth staring them right in the face!"

"These people are only workers. They need these jobs to live—they don't deserve to die so the White Fang can send a message, that's not what we do!"

A brief silence fell between them. Adam stood a few feet in front of her, expression indiscernible, as the train continued to run through the endless red canvas of the Forever Fall. The wind whipped around them loudly, and as her mentor said nothing, Blake pushed forward.

"I trusted you. Back in Mistral—when we intercepted that supply line coming from Argus—you told me it was just an accident. And in Coquina with Ruby, it was self defense against some human supremacists. But this?"

"Blake, I—"

"I'm done. You've changed. You and the Fang both have. And I can't be a part of it anymore."

She jumped onto the next train car, leaving a clone to deal with Adam when he tried to follow.

"I'm sorry."

Taking a deep breath, Blake drew Gambol Shroud, and stood over the coupling.

"Goodbye."

She could still feel Adam's eye burning into the back of her head even as the detached train cars faded into the distance.

"This is a waste of our time."

They had just finished unpacking everything from the most recent move, and were now squirreled away in Adam's favorite tent: the one he spends so much time planning and scheming in. Everything was set up just as it was last time, right down to the last weapon. A large conference table taking up the center of the room, with shelves pressed up against the back wall of the tent, holding dust vials and rolled up documents and suchlike. There were no seats or other basic amenities covering the grassy floor, but that was life in a terrorist group, she supposed.

Her scythe was propped up against a hanging rack of uniforms, slightly pushed into the dirt to keep him from tipping over. Off to the side, a couple of supply crates filled with myriad weapons and stolen Dust were stacked as high as the tent would allow, giving her a decent amount of space to carve out a little corner of the tent for herself.

"What would an oversized gardening tool know about fashion?" Ruby asked, before turning back to her hastily set up work station.

Her half-finished masterpiece—her magnum opus, if you will—was laid flat over an empty supply crate covered with her cloak, just waiting for a master's touch to bring it to life. Red and black fabrics were haphazardly hanging off the side of the crate, along with a sewing needle and a few pins stuffed in a strawberry shaped pincushion. Yes, this was truly going to be the combat skirt to end all combat skirts, one that would surely—

"Completely and utterly ruin your fighting style? Yes, it surely will." Rhaast snorted, and Ruby could practically feel his eye rolling from under the cloth covering that barely functioned as a sheath.

"I can make it work! You see, when they see the skirt they'll think: 'Oh, she's just a harmless little school girl who joined the Fang by accident!' And then—"

"And that's when you kill them?" Her weapon interrupted.

"Only if they deserve it." Ruby replied casually.

Their conversation was interrupted by the sound of loud stomping approaching the tent. It seemed Adam and Blake had returned from their mission.

"Back so soon? I would have expected their little date to have lasted a bit longer."

"Shush, you." Ruby hastily stabbed her fourth needle into the pincushion and put on her mask, then turned to face the tent flap.

Right on cue, Adam Taurus forced his way in, scowling intensely at nothing in particular. Ruby could feel the rage and anger radiating off of him in waves, and shivered at how good it felt. Stupid cursed demon scythe.

"Adam? Did something happen?" She asked as her leader walked up to the table and slammed a fist down.

Through grit teeth, he spoke. "Blake. Deserted. Us."

"Kitty cat finally ran away?" Rhaast's laughter echoed in her mind. "I'm surprised it didn't happen sooner."

"Are we… Are we going after her?" Ruby said at the same time.

"Forget it." He said sharply. "It's time we returned to Mistral and—"

The sound of a large explosion shook the tent, cutting him off. Even from within the tent, Ruby could hear the sounds of a brief struggle happening outside, familiar yells and screams of their brethren cut short within a matter of seconds.

Adam gave her a silent nod as she ran over and snatched up Rhaast from his resting place, and slotted him into the scabbard on her back, before the two of them stepped outside to face whatever enemy had found them.

"The undoing draws near…"

"What is this?" Adam shouted.

The three humans from the day before stood in front of them, their leader—Cinder Fall, Rhaast helpfully supplied—brandishing a pair of scimitar as she stood at the center of attention over a smoldering battlefield. The tents she had just set up this morning were all collapsed or burnt to a crisp, her fellow White Fang members scattered about groaning in pain or lying still as the grave. That familiar, hateful feeling began welling up within her as her hand rested on the tail end of Rhaast's snath.

"Irreverent, arrogant humans! I cannot wait to hear them scream!"

"We could have gone to anyone for help." Cinder tossed her swords at their feet. "But we chose you, Adam Taurus."

Before either of them could react to the fact that their enemy had just thrown away her weapons, a wall of flame erupted in front of them, melting the swords before their very eyes.

Rhaast rumbled eagerly in the back of her mind. "This one is strong… I can feel it, Ruby!"

"Our plan will be beneficial for both of us. Or one of us." The flames receded a bit, revealing that her two lackeys opening cases packed to the brim with Dust and Lien. "So, which will it be?"

Ruby took an involuntary step forward, unable to properly contain Rhaast's—and her own—rage. They really thought they could just muscle their way into the White Fang? The big bad humans thought they could herd them like animals?

No way in hell was that happening.

She gripped her weapon tighter, letting Rhaast's demonic influence infest her upper body. No one but Adam—who was already privy to her secret—saw what was truly happening under her White Fang uniform, as pale skin darkened into a bloody red, turning jagged and polished like the bones of a Grimm. His power crept up to her neck, a thin layer of Darkin armor covering everything below and including her jaw.

Ruby took a deep breath, allowing Rhaast just a little more influence. "Adam. You handle the trash. The one in the middle's mine!"

At that point those stupid humans finally picked up on what was happening, and Cinder minions quickly shut the cases and took up combat stances as their boss formed a new pair of swords seemingly out of nowhere. Ruby grinned. It was just a shame that they didn't react fast enough.

She blinked away from her spot beside Adam and kicked Cinder right in the face, sending her flying through a tree behind her. And with that, all hell broke loose.

She dashed out of the glade and further into the forest where Cinder had fallen, leaving a trail of red rose petals behind her as Adam took up arms against Emerald and Mercury. Her smile widened as she caught up to Cinder, immediately bringing her scythe down on her.

She parried with her own blades, before leaping back and throwing them at Ruby. Normally a dumb move, but her opponent apparently had an infinite supply of weapons, as she quickly formed a bow and shot at the Faunus.

Sweeping away the arrows with Rhaast, Ruby closed the gap and launched into a flurry of kicks, her speed just barely too slow to overwhelm her foe as she blocked and dodged every hit. As she finished by swinging her scythe downwards, Cinder dodged to the side, and Rhaast tore through the earth like paper. Rolling to her feet, Cinder gave her a cool stare as her eye lit up with some sort of… energy?

"You're strong. Why not join us?" Her opponent asked. "Together, we could take revenge against the ones running these Kingdoms into the ground. Isn't that what you want?"

"Another miserable peon who has no idea what she's talking about." Ruby sneered.

She launched forward, aiming for Cinder's stomach with her scythe, only to be blocked by a pair of swords. She felt the ground heat up beneath her and leapt back as a pillar of flame erupted from out of nowhere. Blinded by the fire, she stumbled back as something sharp struck her chest, followed by a rapid volley of arrows which shattered upon impact. A cluster of explosions threw her off of her feet just as her vision returned, barely managing to keep her grip on Rhaast as she tumbled further into the forest.

"Quit messing around and end her already!"

Ruby scrambled to her feet to see Cinder floating just above the ground, a jetstream of flame around her arms. She dashed under an incoming blast of fire, feeling the heat just barely touch her skin as she used her Semblance to burst under and behind her enemy in an instant. Her foot connected with Cinder's back with a satisfying crack, the roundhouse kick setting her up perfectly as she spun around and swung Rhaast skyward with a flourish.

To her satisfaction, she saw the faintest flicker of fear on Cinder's face as she was caught in the shockwave generated by their combined strength, an upwards sweep that uprooted the ground below even as it sliced into her foe's Aura.

And then she saw it. Blood.

"She's ripe for the killing. Do it like I showed you, Ruby!"

She let out a shrill laugh as she blasted forward, turning her and Rhaast into a stream of rose petals. Directing herself towards the air around Cinder, she quickly hid herself from sight, rose petals diving under her dress or nestling in her hair and any open wounds.

Her opponent roared angrily as she recovered from her attack, and began looking around wildly for the Faunus, not noticing the dancing petals around her. Taking care not to tip her opponent off, Ruby silently rematerialized Rhaast behind her head. Cinder began stalking forward through the woods, none the wiser. Then, a stray rose petal fluttered in front of her face.

Swiftly, Ruby reformed herself with the intent of kicking off of Cinder, dragging her scythe through her enemy as she did. But she was a little too obvious, and with lightning-fast reflexes Cinder reacted. In an instant, the two struck at the same time.

Her right foot struck Cinder's chest even as flames engulfed her body, becoming red-hot and depleting Ruby's Aura. Yanking Rhaast back with a twirl as the force of the kick and the explosive flame sent her away, the blade ripped a jagged gash straight through Cinder's shoulder.

Someone screamed, though she wasn't sure if it was her or Cinder (or both), as she was sent spinning through the foliage and out into the clearing again. Her right leg made a nauseating crunching noise when she tried to land on it, forcing her to stumble as she regained her footing.

Cinder emerged after her, looking much worse for wear. Her spooky glowing eye was flickering wildly, and jets of flame were coming off of her in spurts in random directions. Rhaast had made a mess of her shoulder, and it was spilling blood and gore all over her arm and torso. Cute!

She was so caught up in watching her foe that she didn't notice Adam forcing back the other two extras until they had already returned to Cinder's side. The green one was freaking out to the point of tears, and the gray one's eyes darted back and forth between Cinder and Ruby with a subdued expression of alarm.

Cinder screamed furiously, and a wall of flame appeared before her and Adam, causing them both to shy away their eyes. When it faded, the trio had disappeared, though Ruby could faintly see a glint of metal deeper in the Forever Fall.

"After them! Paint this forest red with their blood!" Rhaast commanded.

She dragged her feet forward, but the adrenaline had already faded, and the pain in her leg became too much to ignore. She slumped down to one knee as the Forever Fall burned around them, using Rhaast as a prop to keep herself upright, and spat out a glob of blood. Her Fang uniform was singed all over, and her hair caked with sweat and dirt and blood, but aside from her damaged leg she felt… fine.

Ruby sat back on the ground and examined her leg. Most of her fur had burned off in Cinder's attack, leaving an ugly patch of bright red, blistered skin underneath. All four of her claws were chipped and scorched black, her paw scarred and bleeding all over. A fetid, rotten stench hit her as she brought her leg closer, causing Ruby to rear back in disgust. The adrenaline rush kept her from sensing it earlier, but burnt flesh and bone always smells disgusting after a fight.

Adam came running up to her with a medkit. He himself looked a little roughed up; a bit of his horn was broken off, and his signature mask had a lightning shaped crack across the center. His own uniform was torn up all over, revealing minor cuts and scrapes, but nothing serious.

"That was reckless." He said as he began dressing the wound so her Aura could take over.

"It—ow!—worked out in the end, didn't it?" Ruby hissed in pain. "Told you we could take them!"

"Yes, and now the whole camp is up in flames and half of our men are badly hurt. Including you." He replied.

"Better than—better than lowering ourselves to work with those humans."

Adam gave a tired sigh. "Yeah, you're right. But this little incident is going to set us back a few months."

He finished the makeshift splint and helped her up, allowing her to stow her weapon away on her back. He led her over to a miraculously unburnt tree stump Rhaast had made during the fight, before leaving to take command of the camp. She sat down and watched as the rest of the able-bodied members of the Fang scrambled to provide first aid and retrieve supplies from what remained of the encampment. A few of the newer members were giving her a wide berth as they moved, not quite certain what to make of her.

"They fear us. I can taste it."

"Like that's ever mattered to us." Ruby muttered.

"Speak for yourself. Watching these pathetic beings struggle and squirm is… amusing."

"Why am I not surprised?" She said, pouring every last drop of her Aura into healing her wounded leg. Soon enough she'd be able to stand on her own, thanks to the wonders of having a magical mind-parasite boosting her own abilities.

"You're breaking my heart, Ruby." Rhaast taunted. "Am I not the greatest weapon this realm has ever seen? Haven't you accomplished such great deeds with my help? Under my tutelage? I shudder to think of where you'd be without me…"

She gripped the edge of the stump, feeling the wood crack under her grip. "Shut up."

His presence faded into the back of her mind, leaving Ruby alone to watch the encampment move. By now almost everything salvageable had been neatly packed away and loaded on their trucks. She felt a small amount of pride at the efficiency of their platoon, their resilience for recovering from being attacked by such a powerful foe.

Cinder… how had she gotten so strong in just a day? If Ruby had access to that strange power, combined with Rhaast, then perhaps she'd be done by now…

"We should go after them. She's too dangerous to be left unchecked." She mused aloud.

"Agreed. The fact that she managed to get away from us in the first place speaks to her strength alone. That, or perhaps all that time fighting Atlesian droids has dulled your skills."

"My skills are not dull, thank you very much." She retorted. "The point is, she just waltzed into our camp and blew up all of our stuff without a second thought. She needs to be put down before she hurts anyone else."

"Still trying to play the hero, after all this time?"

"…Are you going to try to stop me if I am?"

She received no response back from Rhaast, and let out a small sigh of relief. Though, she supposed he wouldn't care what she did, so long as it led to violence and bloodshed.

Eventually, Adam came back, and she could immediately tell that he wanted something out of her. A satchel of some sort hung from his waist.

"Ruby."

"What is it, Adam?" She asked. "Kinda busy dying over here."

He took one look at her nearly healed leg, and gave her a flat stare before continuing. "I want you to go to Vale."

She nearly fell over the stump she was sitting on. "What? Why?"

"I'm worried about—" His voice caught, and she patiently waited for him to recollect himself. "I'm worried about Blake."

"Weren't you just… I mean, before the attack…?"

He groaned and pressed a hand against his mask. "I know—look, Blake's not like us. She grew up in a cushy mansion in Menagerie, surrounded by Faunus. She doesn't know what it's really like. Not yet. But she will understand now that she's alone in Vale, and once she does, she'll come back to us. I know it."

"Really? All that time in the Fang and you still think of her as idealistic and naive?" Ruby fought to keep her eyes from rolling in front of her leader.

"You don't know her like I do. She'll be back. Trust me."

"Oh, the things mortals do for love…" Rhaast snickered.

"Okay…" She said, unconvinced. "You know if I leave, you'll have to go back to dealing with the Grimm again. Rhaast can't exactly scare them off from a distance, you know."

"Our group's small enough that it won't be a problem. But Blake…" Adam crossed his arms, his voice becoming a bit more aggressive. "The train we raided today only had one destination. And I highly doubt anyone there would be willing to help a Faunus escape to Menagerie. So she'll be stuck there—at least until she can get a fake ID and some Lien in her pockets."

"Find her and bring her back. Got it."

"No. Don't force her." Adam shook his head. "Find her, and keep an eye on her. Cinder's plan somehow involves the entire city of Vale, and requires manpower. Lots of it. I don't want Blake to get caught up in whatever ridiculous human power struggle is going to happen there."

"Say, Ruby? I sense an opportunity here…"

Ruby giggled in agreement. "Adam, you should have just started with that! Fine, I'll stop Cinder for you, no problem!"

Adam glared at her, before tossing a map and a few supplies into her lap. "I'm trusting you because you know the city much better than the rest of us. Just make sure Blake is safe. I don't care what you do in the meantime."

She gave him a mock salute as he left, before unfurling the map. From where they were in the Forever Fall, it was about a day on foot to reach the city proper. So, a few hours for her with her Semblance, especially since she'd be traveling with Rhaast.

She stood up, shaking off the pins and needles in her right leg.

"Well, Rhaast? Let's get going, shall we?"

"Oh, yes. I have a feeling this will be quite an interesting experience…"

Extras I

Champion Spotlight: Ruby Rose, the Silver-Eyed Reaper

Passive - Silver-Eyed Heritage

When attacking enemy champions, or when nearby allied champions take damage, Ruby builds up stacks of Creation. At maximum stacks her next basic attack or ability will stun for {X} seconds and deal bonus true damage. This effect is reduced if applied more than once within {X} seconds against the same enemy.

Q - Petal Burst

(Active): Ruby dashes in a target direction, gaining 300% attack speed for her next 3 basic attacks within {X} seconds. Each successful attack reduces Petal Burst's cooldown, and grants Ruby a stacking movement speed buff, which decays over {X} seconds.

W - Recoil / Hunter's Resolve

Sniper Form (Toggle): Ruby adjusts the recoil function of her weapon, causing her to slide back slightly with each basic attack. While active, her basic attacks cost mana, whose cost doubles on each successive use.

Scythe Form (Toggle): While in combat, Ruby can activate this ability to rapidly gain stacks of Silver Energy while slowing herself by {X}% and dealing {X}% less damage. If at maximum stacks, Ruby instead gains {X}% movement speed and increases both the damage and stun effect of Silver-Eyed Heritage. Toggle costs {X} mana per second.

E - Crackshot / Grimm Slayer

Sniper Form (Active): After a brief channel, Ruby takes aim and fires a curving bullet that deals bonus damage based on distance traveled. The angle of the curve can be set during the channel time.

Scythe Form (Active): Ruby swings Crescent Rose in a circle around her, dealing damage to all enemies and applying on-hit effects. Against minions and monsters, execute them if they are below {X} health.

R - Mekashift

(Active): Ruby switches between Crescent Rose's sniper and scythe forms, gaining different attributes and abilities. As a sniper, she gains bonus attack range and movement speed. While wielding the scythe, her basic attacks deal bonus damage and cleave the area in front of her.
