It was after the war, and Jesse saw Crosshair sitting alone at a cafe. Deciding to take the plunge he went to his brother, "Hello again."
Nodding to him, "Reg."
A few other clones followed Jesse the table with the silver haired mutated clone with a cross disposition and a sniper scope marking over his right eye. "So, I was wondering." Jesse tried again, "Whats your favorite part of being a sniper?"
Crosshair put down his drink, "Being the center of attention, and the ladies." His brothers exchanged looks as he continued, "Yeah, I love the looks my ladies give me. The little glitt', its the best part. You understand?"
"I think so…." Jesse looked over at Tup, Kix and Echo before continuing, "How many ladies do you have?"
"Ten," Crosshair smiled, "And that doesn't count my special lady Lyni. She is great about the others, even has a favorite among the other ladies herself." Giving them a nod, "You know what I mean."
Reminding everyone they were clones the others went, "Umm…" at the same time. So Crosshair answered, "Come, come with me."
Leading them though the streets to a small two story house in the suburbs and then to the back where there was a gun chest he opened it and showed a wide variety of rifles, "Here are my ladies." Pointing to each, "This is Amy, Little Suzie, my lady's favorite Jill, Brianna," turning to the others, "you know why we call her Briana right?"
"No?" Jesse answered confused at this whole thing.
Crosshair gave a small smile, "Yeah, thats a long story." Turning back to the rifles, "Shaniqua, Helga, Kitty, Jenny, Terresa, and this spot is for Leah." Looking at them, "Yeah Leah, thats one sweet little lady."
"Honey," a woman's voice called startling Jessie, Tup, Kix and Echo, "are you polishing the rifles again?"
Turning Crosshair answered, "No cyar'ika, I'm showing them to the Regs." Seeing the others were startled, "My special lady Lyni."
Entering the room with a plate of cookies was a grey skinned woman that stood about five six, white hair pulled back in a braid and white facial markings visible. She was wearing a teal blue dress, the same color as her eyes. Smiling at them, "He hasn't introduced me to anyone outside the Bad Batch." Extending the plate, "Would you like some cookies?"
They each took a fantastic oatmeal chocolate chip cookie as Crosshair wrapped his arm around her shoulders. She smiled up at him. Leaving the others to wonder how the hell Crosshair had gotten a girl when none of them had.
