"No great mind has ever existed without a touch of... madness."

– Aristotle

Chiyo glances around with dilated eyes. Her wings were slightly puffed up and tense. Fumikage gives his sister a narrowed look. He could feel Dark Shadow restlessly moving around his mind at how alert Grimoire was in Chiyo's mind.

"What's wrong? You are hardly ever this alarmed," Fumikage asks, making Chiyo jump slightly. She takes a deep breath and tries to calm her overflowing nerves.

"Danger. Tell Aizawa-Sensei there is danger," Grimoire kept repeating worriedly, while Chiyo glances around one more time.

"I–it might be nothing, but I-I heard a crow yesterday–at the mall," Chiyo says quietly, too not disturb their classmates. "Only one."

Fumikage stumbles in shock before quickly finding his footing again. "What a mad banquet of darkness. Are you absolutely positive?"

The goth girl nods her head, nervously glancing around one more time. She tries to get rid of some of her nerves by shaking her hands, but it doesn't work as well as she wanted. They stay silent as they walk onto the bus with their class.

"Chiyo-san, are you alright? You seem incredibly distressed," Momo asks worriedly when Chiyo sits down next to her. She gives a small, weak smile to the taller girl.

"I-I'm alright Momo-chan!" Chiyo tries and fails to make her wings relax. "Just have a bad feeling."

"Protect!" Grimoire whines, leaping out of Chiyo. She facepalms when Grimoire starts fretting over everyone in the bus.

"Grim," Chiyo sighs with a small, exasperated smile. Grimoire turns to her and flips her off before going back to hugging everyone in the class and making sure they were all well.

"Get the fuck away from me!" Katsuki shouts with a deep scowl, leaning away from Chiyo's Quirk.

He doesn't listen and hugs the angry blonde while trapping his arms. "No."

"Control your fucking Quirk, Goth Fucker!" Katsuki exclaims, making the goth girl giggle.

"Apologies, Bakugō-kun," Grimoire whines and gives Chiyo the puppy dog eyes, "he doesn't like hugs, Grimoire. Let him go."

"But hugs! And violence!" The shadow monster whines, reluctantly releasing Katsuki. He makes a weird annoyed sound before dejectedly floating over to Chiyo.

"Thank you Grim. I'll let you surprise attack Shohei the next time we see him," Chiyo says with a smile. Grimoire perks right back up with a cheer.

"Shohei?" Mina asks curiously with a mischievous smile. The goth girl giggles with a small blush and nods.

"Oda Shohei. He's my boyfriend and childhood friend," Fumikage sighs heavily, "and someone Fumi-chan is suspicious about."

"How long have you been together? Is he a Yamauchi Daizō or a Mori Tamiko?" The pink skinned girl asks excitedly, leaning forward.

Chiyo hums in thought while Grimoire shakes his head. "He's definitely a Sakemoto Akemi."

"We've been together for almost two years–and he is definitely a Mori Tamiko. What are you talking about Grim?" Chiyo answers, giving her Quirk a small glare.

"Ooh, he must be handsome. Does he go to UA? Please tell me he does!" Mina asks with wide eyes.

"No, he goes to Shiketsu," Chiyo says with an amused smile. Mina frowns slightly in despair.

"What just happened?" Kaminari Denki, a 15 year old boy with long yellow hair, gold eyes, and fair skin, asks out loud.

"It's people from trashy TV Dramas. What a mad banquet of darkness," Fumikage exclaims darkly.

Chiyo smiles sweetly and doesn't glance at her twin. "They aren't trashy, just an... acquired taste."

"Are your conspiracy theories an acquired taste too?" The corvid boy retorts before going quiet when one of Chiyo's wings slaps him in the face.

"I'll tell Dad what happened to his study."

"A mad banquet of darkness, how do you know about that?"

"Bribery."

"Let's go. Let's go. Let's go." Grimoire gently pushes his user out of the bus, making her squawk in surprise.

"Grim–Grim! You're going to make me fall!" Chiyo stumbles to catch her balance and sighs in relief when Grimoire stops with a pout.

Chiyo huffs quietly and fixes her pinned up. She wore a dark red, sleeveless halter top with a black zipper in the front and a pullover mask built in, a black cloak pinned up as a shawl, black padded leggings, black modified combat boots, a sleek camelback between her wings, and a darkened red visor to cover her eyes. Her hair was pulled back into two pigtails, talons were painted a matte black, and her mask was pulled down.

"Is your Quirk going to be any more of a problem?" Shōta asks dryly, getting off the bus. Grimoire quickly goes back inside Chiyo to hide away from the man.

"Apologies. He hasn't had his daily chaos yet, so he is a bit restless," She says with exasperation, "and a bit... alarmed..."

He narrows his eyes slightly. "Alarmed?"

"Tell him. Danger is somewhere," Grimoire whispers in Chiyo's mind. She walks with Shōta and carefully looks around.

"...I can't shake the feeling something bad will happen. Ever since yesterday–Grimoire is–it might be nothing, but it's such a strong feeling," Chiyo says quietly as her hands start to shake.

"It could be nerves. Are you sure about this?" The teacher asks, making Chiyo snort.

"Why would I get nerves from a field trip?" The goth girl retorts. Shōta stifles a smile.

"I really hope it's just nerves..."

"If anything happens, me and the other teachers will protect you and your classmates." Chiyo feels her ears burn and she calmly nods her head.

"Thank you for listening to me, Aizawa-Sensei." She slows her walk until the rest of her class catches up.

"Everyone, I have been waiting for you!" Someone speaks up in excitement. Chiyo looks at the entrance of the building and gasps in delight.

"The Space Hero: Thirteen! Dad will be so excited!" Her wings start to puff up in her delight. Many of her classmates bursts in quiet excitement.

"Let's go inside without delay," Thirteen says cheerfully.

"Look forward to working with you!" The class exclaims in excitement with a few bowing. They quickly enter the building as a few start whispering to each other.

"Shiny things in the mountain!" Grimoire shouts in alarm while Chiyo glances around at the overwhelming sight of the building interior with dilated eyes.

"A shipwreck, a landslide, a fire, a windstorm, et cetera–" Thirteen raises their arms from their side "–It is a training ground that I made with different types of accidents and disasters. It's called the Unforseen Simulation Joint, or USJ for short!"

"Is it Universal Studios Japan too?" Chiyo wonders under her breath, giving every zone equal attention before focusing on the rescue hero.

"–where's All Might? He was supposed to meet us here," The corvid girl overhears Shōta speaking with Thirteen.

"About that..." The astronaut steps closer to the underground hero. "It looks like he did too much hero work on his way to work and ran out of time, so he's resting in the lounge."

"Tea?" Grimoire invests himself in the conversation. Thirteen raises three fingers.

"Shh!"

"That's the height of irrationality. It can't be helped, shall we begin?" With that said, Shōta walks over to the side.

"Let's see... Before we begin, let me say one thing–er–or two, or three–or four... five... six... seven..." Thirteen trails off into mutters, making Chiyo smile in amusement. Izuku would get along well with them.

"Everyone, I am sure you are aware of my Quirk, Black Hole. I can suck up anything and turn it to dust," Thirteen starts to explain. Chiyo quickly goes back to paying attention.

"You've been able to use that Quirk to save people from all kinds of disasters, right?" Izuku asks in his analytical excitement. The corvid girl gently nudges him with her wing before he could start fanboying.

"Yes, but it is a power that can kill easily." Some of the more excited students reels back in slight shock. "Some of you have Quirks like that, right?"

"Like me!" The shadow demon trills, twirling around in Chiyo's mind. She rolls her eyes, but doesn't say anything to him.

"In a superhuman society, personal Quirks have been certified and stringently regulated, so that doesn't seem like a problem at first glance. However, please do not forget that there are many Quirks that can easily kill with one wrong step. With Aizawa's physical fitness test, you found out about the possibility of your own hidden powers, and with All Might's person-to-person combat training, I think you experienced the danger of using those powers against others. This class is a fresh start. You shall learn how to use your Quirks to save people's lives. You do not have powers so you can harm others. I hope you leave here with the understanding that you have powers in order to help others." Thirteen bows slightly. "That is all. Thank you for listening."

"Haven't heard that speech before," Chiyo thinks sarcastically.

Grimoire makes a noise in agreement. "How long until we get the 'any delinquency and you're expelled' speech? Any guesses?"

"At least two more–"

"Danger. DANGER!" Chiyo jumps at the screech in her head. The lights suddenly dim, making her feathers flare up in alarm. She quickly glances between her classmates before finding her brother.

She shouldn't have gotten her hopes up for it being nerves. This day couldn't get any worse, can it?

Hey! Hope you like the new chapter!

Background information:

1) So Chiyo and Fumikage have corvid traits since they are corvid hybrids.

a) This means that they're senses are better than a human's senses. Including hearing.

b) This also means they can see colors humans can't, and can see ultraviolet light.

2) You know how birds usually fly away before something disastrous happens? Like an earthquake, or a tsunami, or something like that?

a) Chiyo and Fumikage have that, but a much more... muffled version. Chiyo has a more advanced version of the sense than Fumikage, but it still isn't as good as an actual bird's sense.

Hope you all are enjoying the story so far! Bye!
