"We make up horrors to help us cope with the real ones."

— Stephen King

Chiyo doesn't like to admit it, but she is scared–terrified–of villains. They are broken, conceited, and almost all of them are some level of clinical insanity. To Chiyo, villains are probably some of the worst kind of people to her.

She isn't blinded by her opinion on them, though. She knows that–most of the time–it was society, the people that had caused them to go to the villains. Chiyo understands that villains are human beings too. She isn't scared of many villains, only the truly insane ones.

Her fear is one she's had for as long as she could remember. One that society forced into her than she had herself. The fear of becoming one. A villain.

When society has cast you in a dark light because of your Quirk, fearing you will become one of the worst villains, a fear like that is more logical than most people realize.

Chiyo's wings start to puff in, appearing larger than they were as she quickly glances around. She stands protectively in front of her classmates.

A dark purple mist forms at the center of the building, suddenly exploding out. A man slowly walks out of the mist, a separated hand on his face.

"Gather together and don't move!" Shōta orders, pulling up his yellow goggles. "Thirteen, protect the students!"

"What's that?" A 15 year old boy with bright red hair, bright red eyes, and tan skin, Kirishima Eijirō, leans forward with furrowed eyebrows.

"Is this like the Entrance Exam where the lesson's already started?" Eijirō adds while squinting his eyes to try and see more.

Izuku is about to take a step forward. "Don't move!"

People slowly started to come out of the mist, all menacing. Chiyo makes a growling noise from the back of her throat.

"Villains..."

"Those are villains."

Chiyo swallows back her sudden nausea, straightening her shoulders. "The–the breach the other day. It was them, wasn't it?"

"What? Villains? There's no way they could get into a hero school!" Eijirō states incredulously.

"Thirteen-Sensei, what about the trespasser sensors?" Momo asks in a forced calm tone of voice.

"We have them of course, but..."

"It's more probable that they only appeared here, not around the entire school. USJ doesn't have sensors inside the building. It's completely isolated from the main campus. They planned this to happen while a class was supposed to be here."

"Did they only appear here, or around the whole school? Either way, if the sensors are not responding, it means they have someone with a Quirk that can do that. An isolated area separated from the main campus during a time when a class is supposed to be here." Chiyo and a 15 year old boy with bi-colored red and white hair, fair skin, and heterochromia turquoise blue and grey eyes speak at the same time. They glance at each other, but neither comment on the weird moment.

"Thirteen, start the evacuation," Shōta says, taking a step forward. "Try calling the school. These villains even had something to counteract the sensors. It's possible someone with radio-wave-type powers is interfering. Kaminari. You try contacting the school with your Quirk, too."

A 15 year old boy with long yellow hair, yellow eyes, and fair skin jumps when his name is called. "Yes, sir!"

"What about you, sir? Will you fight by yourself? With that many, even if you can erase their Quirks–"

"Midoriya-kun. Aizawa-Sensei will be able to handle the villains, at least enough for us to escape and get back up," Chiyo interrupts the green haired teenager calmly. Grimoire continues to run around in circles inside her mind, causing a small headache.

"Go. Go now. You have to go. Chi, you have to go. That monster's dangerous. You have to go!"

"You can't be a hero with just one trick." The black haired man gets ready to jump down the stairs. "I'm leaving it to you, Thirteen."

Shōta leaps away, quickly falling towards the large group of villains with his hands on his capture weapon. Chiyo clenches her jaw and forces Grimoire to stay inside her mind.

"He's a hero, Grim. We need to protect our class," Chiyo thinks, wincing at the horrible headache that grows. Grimoire simmers down a bit, still restless.

Momo grabs her hand and pulls her. "Chiyo-san, we need to get out of here!"

Chiyo breaks out of her thoughts and lets the black haired teenager to continue to drag her with the rest of their class. She makes a weird groan in the back of her throat when the purple mist appears in front of the exit.

"I won't let you..." A deep voice reverberates out of the mist. It expands and two glowing yellow eyes form in the mist.

"Nice to meet you. We are the League of Villains. It may be presumptuous of us, but we invited ourselves into the home of the heroes, UA High School, in order to have All Might, the Symbol of Peace, take his last breath," The mist says politely. Chiyo lets go of Momo's hand when and spreads out her fingers in a claw-like shape. She bares her teeth at the mist, eyes dilating.

"I believe All Might should have been here. Has there been some kind of change? Well, that is neither here nor there. This is the part I am to play." The mist starts to expand. Katsuki leaps forward, hand out to explode the mist man. A 15 year old boy with bright red hair, bright red eyes, and tan skin leaps forward as well, punching the mist man first before Katsuki creates an explosion.

"Bakugō, Kirishima! What the hell are you doing?!" Chiyo shouts angrily in fear.

"Did you consider that you'd get beaten by us before you did it?" Kirishima Eijirō asks with a grin. Chiyo rushes over in the air and grabs the two boys' shoulders with her feet. She flies higher in the air as the smoke clears to reveal the mist man still standing.

"Oh dear, that's dangerous. That's right. Even if you are students, you are excellent golden eggs," The mist man compliments.

"No! Move away, you three!" Thirteen points one of her fingers at the mist man. Chiyo drops the two boys behind Thirteen and is about to land herself.

"My job is to scatter you all and torture you to death!" The mist covers everything. Chiyo blocks her face and grunts in effort. She tries to beat her wings against the force of the wind, but fails and falls back.

"Chiyo!" Chiyo flails around in the air for a bit before landing awkwardly on one of her wings.

SNAP!

She cries out when her wing bends at an awkward angle. Grimoire forces himself out of Chiyo's mind and immediately goes to attack the villains around them. Chiyo slowly sits up and looks around. She was in the Landslide Zone.

"Oh, Todoroki-san!" She exclaims in slight relief when she sees the bi-colored hair of her male classmate. "I'm glad you are not injured from the sudden teleportation."

"Tokoyami," Todoroki Shōto gives her a nod in greeting before freezing multiple villains.

"It's pathetic to loose to two children. Get a hold of yourself. You're an adult, aren't you?" Shōto states blankly.

Grimoire screeches and slashes at two other villains. "Death for you all!"

"Grimoire, not now. We need to get information first," Chiyo says before wincing in pain when she tries to stand. She glances back and sees her right wing hanging limply from her back.

Great. She'll be practically useless when Grimoire runs out of energy.

"'Scatter and kill you,' huh? I hate to say this, but you just look like guys with Quirks they didn't know what to do with," Shōto insults bluntly. He walks over to one of the villains while Grimoire circles around them like a predator. Chiyo was still sitting, glaring heavily at the villains with an animalistic grin.

Shōto stays silent and ignores whatever the villains were saying as he grabs one of the villains weapons and rips it out of the frozen man's hands. The frozen man falls to the ground and the weapon stays intact.

"Todoroki-san is right. If these villains are here to end All Might-Sensei, wouldn't they want the best of the best? I could fight these idiots without Grim," Chiyo thinks with narrowed eyes. She takes a deep breath and slowly stands up, biting the inside of her cheek to stop herself from crying out. She stumbles her way over to Shōto, trying to keep her balance.

"Why are they so confident in themselves that they can defeat All Might-Sensei when they couldn't defeat two first year students?"

"You know, at this rate, your cells will slowly die," Chiyo states with a small smile, "I had forgotten to feed Grimoire here today, so he's a bit peckish. I try not to let his hunger get to that point, but when corpses are lying in front of him, he can't help himself."

The villains around them make terrified sounds. "And–well, he'll eat living prey if he's hungry enough..."

Grimoire makes a growling sound and starts to surround one of the villains. He opens his mouth wide and starts to slowly close it over the villain's head.

"Why are you so confident that you can kill All Might? What's your plan?" Chiyo's voice replaces its mirth with a dark undertone, glaring at the villains. Her wing twinges in pain, making her wince. They need to get out of here, and soon.
