A/N: And here, we have a new story called "Tom and Jerry: Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory". And in this AU story, Robyn is Charlie Bucket's sister. And of course, along the way, certain songs would be more similar to the remake on account of them being more like the songs from the Roald Dahl book. Oh, and there would also be most of the original dialogue from the 1971 "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory" movie. Also, I noticed that one person reviewed that the scenes seem a bit too rushed, so, I plan on fixing that by incorporating as much of the 1971 movie as possible (at least to start off). Although, there may be a chance that I missed some stuff from the original movie. If there are certain stuff you want me to add to the story to help it be likeable, I am open to suggestions. there are going to be 10 chapters for the story with the first 8 involving the main story and the last 2 being an epilogue. And in time, you might see why. :)
Tom and Jerry: Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory
Chapter 1: Candy Shop Hijinks
It all started one day as a cat named Tom was walking down the alley, looking at ads for pie, Ole Timey Jam, Slugworth's candy, and last, but not least, Wonka Bars. Then, Tom eagerly went over to the trash can and picked up a lid for it only to see inside, nothing. Then, Tom slammed the lid back onto the trash can and noticed that he hadn't eaten for some time as his stomach had moved back with a growl, showing his rib cage for a moment before looking back at the Wonka ad, ripping out the chocolate part of the ad and eating it. Meanwhile, Jerry peeped out of his hole and walked out, prompting Tom to look back at the ad and spit out the paper in his mouth before then peeping out behind the wall and locking his tongue in ecstasy upon noticing Jerry. The mouse had noticed a piece of cheese on the mouse trap before noticing how hungry he was and tried to get it. The way Jerry tried to get the cheese piece was quite annoying to the cat, who pushed Jerry away from the mouse trap, wagged his finger, and inadvertently triggered the mouse trap, which hit his hand, making him yelp in pain with the cheese piece flung to the ground with both cat and mouse then heading over to the piece of cheese due to how hungry they are and fighting over it until it was then flung to the street and subsequently ground into pieces by car tires from a passing car. Soon after, Tom saw Jerry as a Wonka bar and chased after him just as the school bell rang nearby with kids running from school straight to the Candy Shop, Bill's Candy Shop, that is, not knowing that Jerry was still running from Tom until he ran into a wall three times with Tom closing in on him only for Jerry to run and hide in a can, which Tom picked up only to have a brick fall on his mouth, allowing Jerry to escape by hitching a ride with one of the eager school children, prompting Tom to spit out the brick and notice how it broke his teeth before he gave chase. Then, just as soon as the children entered, Jerry dropped onto the ground and saw the delicious candy in the candy shop only to then notice Tom going after him and then shut the door, knocking Tom back toward the fence as one of the boards before Jerry then happily walked along.
"Sizzler! I want a Sizzler!", some kids yelled.
"All right, all right, all right, what's it going to be? A triple cream cup for Christopher... a Squelchy Snorter for Otis...", Bill said, giving said candy to the kids.
"I want a Squelchy Snorter.", one kid said.
"A Sizzler for June Marie...", Bill added.
"C'mon, give me a Sizzler...", another kid spoke.
"And listen! Wonka's got a new one today.", Bill stated.
"What is it?", the kids asked.
"This is called a Scrumdidilyumptious Bar.", Bill spoke.
"Scrumbibilyunctious Bar? How does he do it?", a boy named Winkelmann asked.
"My dear boy, do you ask a fish how it swims?", Bill asked.
"No...", Winkelmann replied.
"Or a bird how it flies?", Bill asked.
"No...", Winkelmann repeated.
"No sirree, you don't! They do it because they were born to do it. Just like Willy Wonka was born to be a candy man, you look like you were born to be a Wonkarer.", Bill responded before he started singing as he gave candy to the kids while Tom and Jerry go about their usual mayhem and shenanigans, but not before the latter got a jelly bean only to lose it when someone inadvertently pushed him while Bill even unknowingly stepped on Jerry, flattening him before he could get to his piece while a young boy named Charlie Bucket and a young girl named Robyn Bucket, both of which are blonde, watched from the window in awe as did Tom, who decided to sneak inside, leading to said shenanigans with one of them involving Tom's head being flattened by the flippable counter.
Bill: Who can take a sunrise
Sprinkle it in dew
Cover it in chocolate
and a miracle or two?
The candyman
The candyman can
The candyman can cause he mixes it with love and makes the world taste good
Who can take a rainbow
Wrap it is a sigh
Soak it in the sun
and make a strawberry lemon pie?
Children: The candyman?
Bill: The candyman
The candyman can
The candyman can cause he mixes it with love and makes the world taste good
Children: Me, me!
Willy Wonka makes
Everything he bakes
Satisfying and delicious
Talk about your childhood wishes
You can even eat the dishes
Who can take tomorrow
Dip it in a deam
Seperate the sorrow
And collect up all the cream?
The candyman
Children:Willy Wonka can
Bill: The candyman can cause he mixes it with love
And makes the world taste good
And the world tastes good cause the candyman thinks it should
Charlie and Robyn have been watching through the window before they walked away toward Mr. Jopeck's newsstand, not knowing that Jerry wandered out of the store with a piece of candy with Tom heading out after him, shaking his head to get it back to normal. Afterwards, Jerry managed to stop Tom with a trash lid, stopping the cat's pursuit before the mouse ran again only for Tom to straighten himself out, literally, and then smash him with two trash can lids, splattering the candy into the mouse, dressing him up as a sort of clown with a red nose before Tom picked Jerry up by the tail as the mouse started saying his prayers.
Meanwhile, Jerry and Robyn went over to the newsstand.
"Hi, Mr. Jopeck.", Charlie greeted.
"Ah, come along, Charlie; you two're late.", Mr. Jopeck responded.
"But isn't it payday, Mr. Jopeck?", Robyn asked.
"You're right, Robyn.", Mr. Jopeck responded before he paid both Robyn and Charlie.
"There you are.", Mr. Jopeck spoke.
"Thanks.", Charlie grinned before he and Robyn left.
"Say hi to your Grandpa Joe for me.", Mr. Jopeck spoke.
"We will.", Robyn responded before she and Charlie both delivered the papers until they saw Tom putting Jerry in his mouth and getting him out, the candy coating already licked off of the mouse.
"Hey, now!", Robyn shouted as she tossed a newspaper straight into Tom's mouth, stopping him from eating Jerry, who was then dropped down before running over to Robyn.
"Are you okay?", Robyn asked before Charlie removed the paper from Tom's mouth.
"Sorry, but I had to do that. I couldn't let you eat that mouse.", Robyn explained.
"Things can't be that bad, can they?", Charlie asked before Tom's stomach growled, looking as empty as it was, same for Jerry, too.
"Oh. Sounds like you two haven't eaten in days.", Robyn guessed.
"You know, I bought this for my family, but you're welcome to have it.", Charlie assured before Jerry refused only to get stepped on by Tom, who then eagerly started eating the bread with Jerry then joining in and eating the rest.
"Glad you two liked it.", Robyn grinned before Tom nodded as did Jerry before he shook Charlie's hand.
"Well, thanks. I appreciate it.", Charlie grinned before Tom got out his pockets, revealing that he's broke.
"It's all right. You don't need to pay us back.", Robyn assured before Charlie got out his card which read, "Charlie and Robyn Bucket; Newspaper Siblings 1518 Hill St." and handed it to Tom.
"I'm Charlie. Charlie Bucket.", Charlie greeted.
"And I'm Robyn. What are your names?", Robyn asked before Tom pointed to the custom bike poster, covering the "Cus" part of "Custom" and pointing to "Tom".
"Tom...", Robyn guessed before Jerry then went up and made himself a "J" in front of "cherry".
"And Jerry. Pleased to meet ya.", Charlie grinned.
"Wow... Just look at all that candy. And every bit of it is made by the great Mr. Willy Wonka himself.", Robyn stated.
"It's the most incredible candy anyone can imagine. And if we keep saving up, we'll be able to afford a real Wonka Bar. Someday... Maybe for our birthday.", Charlie added before getting a bit down-hearted.
"Oh, well. Who needs a Wonka Bar anyway?", Charlie spoke as she and Robyn walked away.
"Nice meeting you, Tom and Jerry.", Robyn grinned and she and Charlie walked ahead with both cat and mouse getting worried about the two siblings.
Sometime later, Charlie and Robyn found themselves standing outside the gates looking at the factory when the Tinker spoke up to them.
"Up the airy mountain, down the rushing glen. We dare not go a-hunting, for fear of little men. You see: Nobody ever goes in..., and nobody ever comes out.", the Tinker spoke before he then took off in his jalopy while Robyn and Charlie ran back home.
