Ron sat down at the table for dinner with the trio and poked at his food. Ginny watched her brother as she chewed her food. Ron took a bite of mashed potatoes and looked up to see his friends and sister staring at him. "What?" Ron growled. Harry looked back at his plate. Luna got up and gently hugged Ron. "It is okay to be upset, Ron. We understand you care for Hermione." Ron frowned and struggled with his shoulders.

"Hermione was just wanting a reason to leave me, she is probably going to Malfoy's flat. She has probably been cheating on me anyways. How else would she come up with crazy ideas like wanting to be spanked and stuff?" Ron spat out as he stuffed a bite of potato in his mouth.

Ginny got up and slowly walked over to Ron. Ginny leaned down to be at eye level with Ron. Placing both of her hands on the arms of his chair, Harry watched from his seat and Luna moved back down to her seat and sat down.

"Ronald Weasley…let me tell you something…are you listening very closely?" Ron chewed his chip and nodded slowly. Ginny was very rarely quiet when she is angry. Ginny's eyes never left her brother's face. Harry had never been on the end of the anger he felt radiating off of Ginny, but he knew this was not going to be a nice quiet chat. Luna must have felt the wave of emotions too because she reached over and placed her hand on Harry's. Luna took another bite of her food and waited. Harry glanced between his two girls and them at Ron. He loved Ron but knew at times he could be rather thick. Especially when it came to women.

Ginny waited until Ron finished his bite, she grabbed his face.

"Ron, I want you to listen and listen well. You are my brother and I love you…but you are a complete idiot." Ron started to protest but Ginny just squeezed his cheeks. "No, you are going to listen, I will Silencio you and body bind you if I must. Not a damn word until I am done. Is that understood?" Ron snarled but nodded.

"Hermione has been your best friend for almost ten years. You two danced around feeling for each other for SIX years. During that time, do you have any idea how often you made her cry with your action, your words your lack of thought? There were times she hate herself because of things she did or said. She doubt herself; she didn't think she was good enough, pretty enough. You made her filled used and useless! Did you notice any of that?" Ginny took a breath and continued.

No, but I did, Harry did, even Luna did, hell Ronald, half of the school did. She would have hung the stars in the sky for you if you had asked. Then you kissed her, after years of waiting and hoping. That started the relationship but then what happened? We were all struggling with the loss we all went through, but Hermione had something she could try to get back…her parents." Ron shrugged and nodded. Ginny shook her head.

"Hermione went alone and find her parents. She was alone and wasn't able to undo the memory charm. She was alone when she lost her parents and they were still right in front of her. She came back and told us what happened, she cried and turned to you for comfort. Do you remember what you said?" Ron looked over at Harry and Luna, then back to Ginny. He slowly shook his head no.

Harry looked at Ron with shock. "Ron, you told her it wasn't that bad, she knew they were safe and alive, and when she cried harder. You told her it wasn't like they had died. You said they just don't remember you or what you did to them…You said it might be better that way. You said that they would probably be mad at her."

Ron nodded. "Well, it was true…I mean."

Ginny smacked the side of his face. "No talking you are going to listen, Hermione left the borrow for nearly two weeks. Did you owl her, try to find her? No, you didn't. Harry did, he sent her letters daily. After a week she showed up at Luna's house. Asking for help in a way to restore her parents' memories. She hadn't eaten or hardly slept. She told Luna she had been traveling around and doing research on memories. Luna invited her in gave her tea laced with a sleeping draught while she "looked for a book she had," once Hermione was asleep Luna sent an owl Harry, and me.

Harry spoke up at this point. "Ron, we asked you to come with us to talk to Hermione. You said she was fine and just needed space. I have one question….I think we are all thinking it…I want you to answer it truthfully. Do you see this was not even one month into your relationship, do you not see a problem?"

Ron looked at his sister and his friends. "Of course I do. Yeah, we had a problem, Hermione was only worried about herself and her parents. She didn't try on our relationship. She didn't care what I was going through."

Harry looked at Ron and just shook his head, Ginny backed away from her brother, yet Luna sat in front of Ron and took his hands. She looked into his eyes.

"Ron, she did try…she turned to you and you turned away from her. She needed you and you left her alone."

Ron looked at Luna and shook his head. "I just don't see it that way."
