"I'm so sorry, Aurora." Chase said as tears started to drip down from his eyes.

"I wish I could've stopped it or done something else, if I did, may-maybe you still would've been here with us." Chase said to himself.

The Shepherd walked back to his pup house and started to drift off to sleep.

The pups were on a mission up on Jake's mountain and Chase wasn't needed for it so he just stayed at the Lookout, he walked inside and saw Aurora facing away from him.

"Aurora? What're you doing here? I thought you were with the pups?" Chase asked a bit worried

"Aurora?" Chase called out as he got closer to her.

Aurora turned around and pounced on Chase, trying to bite his paw but failed, the Shepherd threw Aurora off of him and ran to call Ryder.

"Ryder I need you and the pups to get here NOW!" Chase ordered as the pup was panting.

"What's happening? We're on our way back!" Ryder said as he hung up.

Chase locked Aurora inside while he ran out the Lookout waiting for Ryder, The Husky was scratching at the door attempting to do something but failed.

After what seemed like ages, Ryder and the pups came back and Chase explained to them what happened, they slowly opened the door and looked inside, Ryder walked inside and got pounced by Aurora.

"Aurora, stop, what're you doing?!" Rocky yelled out as Chase ran and tackled her off of Ryder. The Husky snarled at Chase as she began to run towards him. The Shepherd easily dodged it and the Husky decided to after one of the other pups instead, the first was Skye. She bit Skye's paw but was soon tackled by Chase again.

"Skye! Ryder, pups! Stay back!" Chase ordered as the team kept their distance. "Aurora, what's wrong with you?!" Chase yelled out but was soon scratched and tackled into the elevator, setting it off to go up to the Lookout.

"Chase!" Ryder called out as he ran to the already lifting elevator.

Aurora dug her claws into the Shepherd's chest, luckily, Chase was keeping her from digging any deeper.

"Aurora, please stop! Do-don't make me do this!" Chase begged as he was hesitating on what he was about to do.

"I'm sorry..." Chase said as he dug his claws into the Husky's neck.

Chase woke up panting like he ran a whole marathon, he clutched his chest to catch his breath and check his surroundings. He realized that he slept next to Aurora's grave. Chase was confused, he didn't remember sleeping outside,he remembered sleeping in his pup house.

Chase walked into the Lookout and saw the pups looking at him, most of them were worried about him while one didn't even bother to even share a passing glance.

"Chase are you ok? You look horrible." Marshall said, stating the obvious.

"I'm fine-."

"Yeah, Chase did you sleep ok, dude?" Zuma asked.

"I said I'm fine—."

"Chase, you look like you haven't slept in weeks." Rubble said with concern.

"Pups, you don't have to worry about me."

Chase was gettin riddled with questions, he just wanted to leave the Lookout and go for a walk to cool down, which he was about to do until one pup decided to say something.

"He looks fine to me." Rocky said with attitude. "Serves him right anyway."

"Rocky!" Skye yelled.

At that moment something inside Chase just snapped, he started growling, the Shepherd had enough of the mix's hatred and he suddenly pounced on him.

"Chase!" The pups called out in unison.

"I've had ENOUGH of you Rocky! You're always blaming me and putting pressure on me for killing her, yet you know that I didn't have a damn CHOICE!" Chase brung his claws to Rocky's neck but immediately stopped, he realized what he was doing, he wasn't like this anymore. What made him act like this? He wasn't an angry pup often after getting cured but something was still wrong, something wasn't adding up.

Chase got off of Rocky and started to hearing voices in his head, he was on the verge of going insane.

"You're not like this anymore Chase."

"DO IT, COWARD!"

"You thought you changed, monsters never change!"

Chase shook his head and asked himself with a whisper. "Why am I hearing these voices, one sounds so familiar?"

"Chase?" Marshall called out, worried and scared for the Shepherd.

"I'm sorry for...that. I don't know what came over me, I was just...hearing these voices, telling me do it." Chase said lowering his ears.

"What are you talking about? Who is telling you to do what?" Marshall asked with worry in his voice.

Chase just stood quiet until he decided to leave the Lookout and go to someplace he thought he was never going to again.

"Chase? Where are you going?" Skye asked.

"Someplace where you shouldn't follow me to, I'm sorry but I need answers." Chase said with a stern voice.

"For what?" Marshall asked.

"I don't know,I just have a feeling something is going wrong." Chase said.

"Well nevertheless you're not going alone, Skye and I are coming with you." Marshall assured.

The Shepherd sighed but realized that if something went wrong, they'd be able to help out, so he reluctantly agreed.

"Alright, fine, let's go."

The pups trekked onwards and went back to a place that they hoped they'd never have to go back to.

The destroyed warehouse.

"You'll figure it out soon enough Chase." The Shepherd heard a faint voice in his head.

"I think this is what he was talking about." Chase said to himself.

The pups looked around, Chase told Marshall and Skye to check another area together while he looks around this area. After a while of searching, Chase started getting flashbacks from back then and what he heard shocked him.

"Oh brother, I know you're here."
