Marshall and Skye rushed back home with Chase, the Dalmatian explained to Ryder on how they found Chase, the leader was upset that they didn't tell him but was more worried about Chase more than anything.

"So what's wrong with him?" Ryder asked, facing away from Marshall with his arms crossed.

"Well, whoever did this did a number on him, thankfully they didn't break his paws, just badly sprained them, I put his front paw in a sling and casted up his hind paw." Marshall replied.

"How long will it usually take for him to heal?" Ryder asked.

"Probably two or three weeks?" Marshall questioned.

"Why didn't you tell me where he was going earlier?" Ryder asked as he turned around.

"Well I didn't know, I just convinced Skye to tell me where he was, I wanted to tell you but she didn't want me to, she just wanted to keep it between me and her." Marshall said.

"Marshall, you have to tell me these things, not just keep it to yourself, next time that happens and you don't tell us, bad things could happen." Ryder explained as he kneeled down to pet Marshall.

"Yeah I know, I'm sorry Ryder." Marshall apologized as he lowered his ears.

"It's ok Marshall, I'll look after Chase, why don't you go check on Skye?" Ryder said.

"Yeah, she's taking this really personal Ryder." Marshall said.

"Well Chase and her are a couple so you have to expect this Marshall." Ryder shrugged.

"Yeah you're right, I'll be right back." Marshall said.

Marshall headed outside the Lookout and saw the pups playing but Skye wasn't with them.

Marshall headed to Zuma and Rocky and asked where Skye was.

"Oh. she's in her pup house, really bummed out of what happened, we're just trying to get our mind off it." Zuma said as he passed a ball to Rocky.

"Thanks Zuma." Marshall said before heading to Skye's pup house.

"Hey, um, Marshall?" Rocky called out.

"Yeah, Rocky?" Marshall asked.

"I wouldn't go talk to her right now if I were you." Rocky warned.

"What? Why?" Marshall asked.

"Well you know how she is when something like this happens, she doesn't want to be disturbed." Rocky stated.

"Well I was with her when we found Chase, I'm sure she'll talk to me." Marshall assured.

Marshall walked over to Skye's puphouse and knocked.

"Skye, it's me Marshall, I just want to talk to you." Marshall said in calm tone.

Marshall heard something but it wasn't a response, he put his ear against the door and heard growling.

"Uh, Skye, are you ok in there?" Marshall called but still didn't get a response.

Marshall pup tag beeped and it was Ryder telling him that Chase woke up but he had to tell them something.

"I'll be right there Ryder but something is wrong with Skye, maybe Chase knows something about this." Marshall theorized.

Marshall and the rest of the pups went to the Lookout and saw Chase and a worried Ryder.

"Ryder, what's wrong?" Marshall asked.

They stood quiet until Chase decided to speak up.

"It's Maverick, he's...he's alive and he's coming for us." Chase warned.

The pups were shocked to hear this news, but Chase wasn't done yet.

"So he did this to you?" Zuma asked.

"Yeah but before I lost consciousness, he showed me a syringe with my old wolf blood in it. He said that it won't kill us but it will change us, first, we go feral then over time we'll turn into wolves, he also said that a bite...transfers." Chase thought about it and realized Skye wasn't with them.

"Where's Skye?" Chase asked worryingly.

"She's in her pup house, why?" Marshall asked.

"How was she acting Marshall?" Chase asked.

"Well she wasn't acting in a certain way, but when I asked to talk to her, I didn't get a response, but I did hear faint growling inside her pup house." Marshall explained.

"Oh no...pups, all of you need to stay away from her." Chase warned.

"What? Why?" Marshall asked.

"A bite transfers, that's what Maverick told me, Skye was bit by Aurora, remember?" Chase asked around.

"Yeah, she was." Something hit Rocky. "Wait, didn't Aurora scratch you?" The mix asked.

"Yeah she did but I don't think that's the same as being bitten." Chase thought.

"Wait, so what you're saying is that...Skye is basically a werewolf?" Zuma asked.

"Yeah, basically." Chase said.

"We can't catch a break can't we? What're we gonna do?" Zuma asked.

"We're gonna need some help, I'll call up Everest and Tracker, they'll help us out." Ryder stated.

"Well, what do we do against Skye?" Marshall asked.

Chase gave it some thought and came up with an idea.

"Ryder, you still got that tranquilizer?" Chase asked.

"Yeah, you want me to tranquilize Skye and put her somewhere?" Ryder asked.

"Yeah, put her somewhere where she can't hurt us, try to figure this out before it gets out of hand." Chase planned out.

"Alright, Rocky, Zuma, and Rubble, stay here with Chase, I don't want to risk you guys getting hurt." Ryder stated.

"You got it Ryder." Zuma assured.

"Let's go, Marshall." Ryder lead on.

Ryder and Marshall approached Skye's pup house with caution, Ryder approached the door and was ready to open it.

"Ok, as soon as I open the door, you pin her down and I'll use the tranquilizer on her." Ryder advised.

"Yeah, alright, I got it." Marshall assured.

Ryder opened the door to Skye's pup house and shortly after, a feral Skye jumped out but was soon pounced on by Marshall.

The Dalmatian kept struggling to keep Skye down until Ryder shot her with the tranquilizer, fortunately, Skye was hit by the tranquilizer and was knocked out.

They both ran back inside with Skye on Marshall's back, Ryder went to go get a cage and Marshall placed Skye down on the floor.

Marshall asked Rocky to watch her while he went to go talk to Chase alone.

Marshall walked into the room Chase was in and asked Zuma and Rubble to leave them alone.

"Chase, how are you holding up?" Marshall asked.

Chase didn't respond, he just laid there silently.

Marshall walked up to him and sat down. "Look Chase, I just want you to know that I'm with you no matter what, to the end, brother." Marshall stated as he placed his paw on Chase's shoulder.

Chase smiled and looked at him. "To the end brother."

Marshall informed Chase that his paws should be fine in two or three weeks, after that Marshall left the room.

Ryder walked in and noticed Marshall leaving the room but brushed it off.

Ryder walked into the room Chase was in with Skye in a cage.

"Hey, I'm leaving Skye here, don't worry I'm pretty sure she won't break through this cage." Ryder assured.

"I wouldn't underestimate her like that." Chase advised.

"I'll be in the garage, just press your pup tag if anything happens." Ryder acknowledged as he headed out the door.

Some time passed until Skye woke up and looked around until she saw Chase and started to growl.

Chase heard his pup tag turn on and heard Ryder.

"Chase, there was an emergency near Katie's, needed all the pups for this."

Chase simply replied to Ryder and placed his pup tag on a table next to him.

"I'm sorry Skye, it's my fault that this happened to you." Chase said with sorrow.

Chase did something he wasn't supposed to do, he started walking towards Skye, tossing his sling on his paw away, after some struggling, Chase made it to Skye's cage.

Chase put his good paw on the bars of the cage and wondered if Skye would do the same but instead she snapped at him.

Chase jumped back a little and went back to his bed, on his way back he heard the door to the Lookout open.

"Ryder? Marshall? Rocky?" Chase called out.

"Wrong." Maverick said as he entered the room.

"What the hell are you doing here?" Chase asked.

"Man, where's the love,no hi or anything?" Maverick asked.

"I asked you a damn question." Chase sternly stated.

"Ooh, look at you, all high and mighty." Maverick laughed.

Chase tried reaching for his pup tag but was knocked to the ground by Maverick.

"I'm not here for you." The crazed pup said as he looked at Chase and then towards a feral Skye. "I'm here for her." Maverick walked towards Skye's cage and unlocked it. "Oh Chase, when they don't see me as an enemy it's makes things so much easier!" Maverick boasted.

"What?" Chase questioned as he barely got back up from the knock down.

"You thought she was attacking the pups for no reason? No, Chase, she was doing it because she saw you and the rest of the pups as threats but not me." Maverick explained.

"Consider yourself lucky Chase, I'm not going to kill you yet." Maverick said before leaving with Skye. "Oh I almost forgot." Maverick handed Chase a syringe. "I have a spare one, when the time comes, I think that syringe will help." With that, Maverick left with Skye.

Chase walked towards his pup tag, struggling, and soon called Ryder.

Ryder and the pups were finished helping Katie with an emergency when Chase called. Ryder immediately told the pups to get on their rigs and head back to the Lookout.

Soon Ryder and the pups got back to the Lookout and saw Chase with a syringe and noticed that Skye was gone.

"Chase, what happened, where's Skye?" Ryder asked with worry.

"Are you alright?" Marshall asked soon after.

"I'm fine, Blizzard came here and took Skye, not by force, she just-she just followed him." Chase explained. " He said that Skye was hostile because she saw us threats but not him...he also gave me this." Chase handed the syringe to Ryder.

"Did he say what this is?" Ryder asked.

"No, he said that when the time comes, that'll somehow help me, I don't even know what it is." Chase said.

Ryder placed the syringe down on a desk and left the room.

The pups watched as their leader just left, looking like there was no hope left.

"Dudes...what are we going to do?" Zuma asked.

"Let's go get Skye back." Rocky suggested.

"We can't, we don't even know where she is!" Marshall said.

"He didn't take off her collar so we do know where she is, come on let's go!" Rocky gestured.

"Wait...it doesn't seem right...he knows the collars have trackers right?" Marshall asked.

"Don't do it, it's a trap." Chase warned.

"Yeah, something about this doesn't feel right. Just stay here, we can't go now, we have to plan this out." Marshall advised.

"Exactly." Chase sided.

"Listen, it's only a matter of time before he takes off her collar and-." The mix was cut off.

"It's only a matter before you or someone else gets hurt or worse, you're not going through with this Rocky, we can't risk losing another pup." Ryder said as he came back.

"But-." Rocky was interrupted again.

"But nothing! Ryder's right." Marshall yelled out.

"All of you just go and take your mind off this,I'll call you pups when I have a plan." Ryder ordered.

Everyone left the room besides Ryder, Chase spoke up.

"You know, he's not going to listen." Chase said truthfully.

"I know, I'm going to see what I can do about Skye but I don't know about Rocky. Chase, just relax, you've been through a lot today." Ryder stated.

"Everyone has, Ryder, sir." Chase said.

Ryder petted Chase and left the room as Chase turned to look at the syringe.

Night soon engulfed the bay as all the pups were in their puphouses except for Marshall, who was in the room with Chase, sleeping on the ground. Chase noticed this and was bugged about it, he didn't want his friend to protect him like that.

"Marshall, hey wake up." Chase whispered.

"Huh? Oh, hey Chase, do you need anything?" Marshall asked.

"No Marshall, you don't have to do this for me, go to your pup house and sleep there." Chase advised.

"I can't Chase, what if something happens to you?" Marshall asked.

"Look, Marshall, I appreciate this but you don't have to do this to make sure-."

Chase was cut off by the sound of one the rigs outside starting up, Marshall ran outside to check it out.

"What the?" Marshall questioned after seeing Rocky in his rig. "Rocky, what are you doing?!"

"I'm tracking down Skye and bringing her back with or without you pups!" Rocky stated before speeding off.

"Dammit!" Marshall yelled to himself before running back into the Lookout.

Marshall ran inside the Lookout and noticed Ryder with Chase.

"Ryder, Rocky took his rig and went to find Skye by himself!" Marshall stated.

"Marshall, get in your rig and follow him, he took the pup pad, find him and don't lose sight of him!" Ryder ordered as he was heading to the garage.

"You heard him! Go! I'll tell Rubble and Zuma about what's going on, just go!" Chase yelled out.

Marshall ran outside into his rig and went to find Rocky, Ryder soon followed after.

Rocky sped through the streets heading where Skye was, after a while, Chase called him on his pup tag.

"Rocky, listen to me, just turn around and come back home. It's a trap!"

"It might be a trap but I can take him." Rocky stated.

"Stop being so stubborn! You think you can take him on, are you insane?! Look what he did to me, he'll tear you apart! I know you're doing this because you don't want to lose anyone else but we can't do this now, it's too risky."

"I thought you out all of the pups would understand this situation?" Rocky asked.

"I do understand but I'm not going to face the situation like you are, because if I did I wouldn't have come back from it."

After driving for what seemed like an hour Marshall finally found Rocky, who was in his rig.

"Rocky?" Marshall called out.

Marshall slowly approached Rocky's rig and noticed something, something bad.

Blood.
