A/N Hey, guys. Welcome back to more of the Transformers Ordinary Lives Turned Upside Down fanfic series. So first before I get started, I'm really sorry that I haven't got the time to update this story because of the cold weather and school. And I've been super busy with school, had to study for midterm exams before the winter break. But anyway, the exams are done, and now I can go back and focus on writing and updating my stories. This is chapter number seven, and we finally get to meet Secretary Keller, Lennox, Epps, and system experts Glen and Maggie, as well as the rest of the Decepticons. I hope you guys will enjoy this chapter. I know I will. So, this is chapter seven of Ordinary Lives Turned Upside Down, and here we go.
I only own my OCs.
After hours of being re-arrested by Sector Seven, Will and his friends stepped out of the SUV, having arrived at the Hoover Dam. They were soon joined by Secretary of Defense John Keller, as well as system experts Glen Whitman and Maggie Madsen, who were all brought here for the same reason. Will glanced at his little sister, still having not gotten over of enduring the pain on her swollen cheek.
"I swear, Em, if we do get ourselves out of this situation, I will have a very stern conversation with Simmons, because I'm not allowing him to get away with this." Will said darkly.
"I don't think it's a good idea to put your hands on a federal agent, Will." said Maddie.
"Hey, kid." Simmons greeted dryly.
Will didn't seem to be too keen, still bitter on being re-arrested. Maddie rest her hand on Will's shoulder, her green gaze turning away from Simmons.
"I think we got off to a bad start, huh?" asked Simmons.
"You must be hungry? You want a latte? HoHo? Double venti macchiato?" Simmons offered.
"Where's my car?" Will demanded.
"Son, I need you to listen to me very carefully. People can die here. We need to know everything you know. We need to know it now." Tom Banachek, who's in charge of Sector Seven spoke.
"Okay. But first, I'll take my car, our parents. Maybe you should write that down." Will said to Simmons.
"Oh, and while you're at that, don't even think about threatening Hales." said Amelia.
"Come with me. We'll talk about your car." Banachek offered.
"Thank you." said Will.
The four teenagers, along with Secretary Keller, and the Army Rangers, including Glen and Maggie, followed Banachek and Simmons down to the Hoover Dam.
"All right, here's the situation. You've all had direct contact with the NBEs." Banachek explained.
"NBEs?" Tech Sergeant Robert Epps asked.
"Non-Biological Extraterrestrials. Try and keep up with the acronyms." Simmons replied.
"What you're about to see if totally classified." Banachek continued.
Banachek and Simmons led the group inside the Hoover Dam, and in front of them is a tall scary metal being, frozen in ice. Will, Em, Hales, and Maddie had the faintest idea of who the metal being is.
"Dear God. What is this?" asked Keller.
"We think when he made his approach over the north pole, our gravitational field screwed ip his telemetry. He crashed in the ice, probably a few thousand years ago. We shipped him here to this facility in 1934." Banachek explained.
"We call him NBE One." Simmons stated dryly.
"Well, sir, I don't mean to correct you on everything you think you know, but, I mean, that's Megatron." Will corrected.
This made Keller, Simmons, and Banachek draw their attention to the older Hawthorne.
"He's the leader of the Decepticons." Hailey finished for Will.
"He's been in cyrostasis since 1935. Your great-great-grandfather made one of the greatest discoveries in the history of mankind." Banachek said to Will and Amelia.
"Fact is, you're looking at the source of the modern age, the microchip, lasers, spaceflight, cars, all reverse-engineered by studying him." Simmons explained.
"NBE One. That's what we call it." Simmons corrected Will.
"I swear this man can be a pain we don't need." Hales whispered to Maddie.
"And you didn't think the United States military might need to know that you're keeping a hostile alien robot frozen in the basement?" Keller asked Banachek.
"Until these events, we had no credible threat to national security." Banachek replied.
"Well, you got one now." Keller retorted.
"So why Earth?" Captain William Lennox asked.
"It's the All Spark." Will replied.
"All Spark? What is that?" Keller asked the older Hawthorne.
"Well, yeah, they came here looking for some sort of cube looking thing." Will replied.
"Anyway, Mr. NBE One here, aka Megatron, that's what they call him, who's pretty much the harbringer of death wants to use the Cube to transform human technology to take over the universe. That's their plan." Amelia spoke for her brother.
"And you're sure about that?" asked Simmons.
"Yeah, if you've been paying attention to the information from my brother." Amelia said in a sarcastic tone as her blue eyes glared at Simmons.
"You guys know where it is, don't you?" asked Will dryly.
"Follow me." Banachek replied.
The group followed Banachek and Simmons to where the Cube was being confiscated in.
"You're about to see our crown jewel." Simmons said to the group.
Taking the group to the observation room, Will and his friends looked out the window and saw the Cube. Amelia and Hailey peered over Will's shoulder and admired the Cube.
"Carbon dating puts the Cube here around 10,000 BC. The first Seven didn't find it until 1913. They knew it was alien because of the matching hieroglyphics on the Cube as well as NBE One. President Hoover had the dam built around it. Four football fields thick of concrete. A perfect way to hide its energy from being detected by anyone or any alien species on the outside." Banachek finished.
Unbeknownst to the group, Frenzy, the mini-con, had secretly snucked into the facility. The energy from the Cube regenerated his small body.
"All Spark located." Frenzy reported in an alien language.
At a US airfield, a holograhic pilot suddenly appeared in one of the fighters.
"This is Starscream: All Decepticons, mobilize." Starscream, the second in command of the Decepticons, assuming the form of a military fighter jets ordered.
"Barricade en-route." Barricade, the Decepticon enforcer replied as the police car revved and sped up.
"Devastator reporting..." Devastator, taking a form of a military tank reported, as it broke through the fence.
"Bonecrusher rolling..." Bonecrusher, another Decepticon informed, taking a form of a military vehicle, drove out of the restricted military base.
"Blackout incoming... All hail Megatron!" Blackout, the Decepticon taking the form of a military helicopter finished, flying around the military airspace.
"Wait, back up. You said the dam hides the Cube's energy. What kind exactly?" Maggie asked in her strong Australian accent.
"Good question." Banachek replied, as he led the group to another room.
"Please step inside. They have to lock us in." Banachek instructed.
Once the group were inside, two workers closed and locked the door behind them.
"Oh, wow. What's that? Freddy Krueger done been up in here or something?" asked Epps.
"Oh, no, man. Freddy Krueger have four blades, man. That's only three. That's Wolverine! Right? That's Wolverine!" Glen said to the group and laughed.
"That's very funny." said Simmons, feeling unamused.
"Anybody have any mechanical devices? BlackBerry? Key alarm? Cell phone?" asked Simmons.
"You confiscated my cell phone, asshole." Will muttered.
"Don't worry, we'll get you a new one." said Amelia as she placed her hand on his shoulder and patted it gently.
"I got a phone." Glen replied as he took a phone out of his pocket and tossed it at Simmons.
Opening the small box, Simmons opened Glen's flip phone and placed it inside the box as the group each took a pair of welding goggles.
"Nokias are real nasty. You've got to respect the Japanese. They know the way of the samurai." Simmons muttered dryly as he closed the small box.
"Nokia's from Finland." Maggie corrected.
"Yes, but he's, you know, a little strange. He's a little strange." Keller said quietly to Maggie.
"We're able to take the Cube radiation and funnel it into that box." said Simmons as he and the others put on their welding goggles.
Simmons flips the switch as the Cube's radiation and energy had surged onto Glen's flip phone. Before they knew it, the flip phone transformed into a small mini-con. The mini-con started attacking and attempting to break free.
"Mean little sucker, huh?" asked Simmons, almost taunting the mini-con.
"That thing is freaky!" Maggie exclaimed.
"Kind of like the itty-bitty Energizer Bunny from hell, huh?" Simmons asked again.
The mini-con spoke in an alien language before firing its small miniguns and a rocket, still attempting to break the box. Having enough, Simmons turned to Banachek.
"He's breaking the box." Simmons muttered as he pushed the trigger, ending the mini-con's short lifespan.
Taking off the goggles, the group can see the mini-con was no more. Outside of the dam, the Decepticons began to mobilize and converge. Starscream flew around before transforming and landed on top of the dam, before firing the rockets at the power lines.
The workers, who were on break or working, heard the noise, and they realized it was not a good sign. The lights then started flickering inside the secret room. Will and his friends knew one thing. The Decepticons had officially knew where the All Spark is.
"Gentlemen, they know the Cube is here." Keller stated grimly.
And I will end chapter seven there for today. So what do you guys think? The Decepticons are finally here to cause trouble. Which means, they're also here for their leader, Megatron as well. In the next chapter, Will attempts to convince Simmons to let Bumblebee go free, as well as taking the Cube. I hope you guys continue to enjoy your holiday break, and I will see you in chapter eight.
