It's been some time since everything was brought back to normal, news spread about everything and the people who evacuated slowly made their way back to Adventure Bay.

The people of Adventure Bay knew that the Paw Patrol risked their lives to bring everything back to normal and left the team alone, letting them rest while they fixed up the town.

The Lookout was quiet, the only thing that was heard was the wind blowing and birds chirping.

Everest and Tracker went back to their owners and the original team were at the Lookout.

Skye sighed as she placed her paw on Chase's pup house, she couldn't let Chase go after what happened, she couldn't move on.

No one could.

Tears strolled down her muzzle as memories of her and Chase flooded her mind. The Cockapoo opened the door to his pup house and entered it, she noticed various things inside, Chase's bone from when he lost his tooth, his old pup tag...and a picture of the whole team, all smiling and huddled up.

Skye examined the picture and it made her tear up even more, everything was back to normal but what was the point if they lost one of the first members of the Paw Patrol?

A knock startled the depressed pup as she laid the picture down.

"Skye, are you in there? Ryder wants to talk to us about something and we're all waiting for you." Skye heard Rocky's voice outside, she can tell that the pup was also saddened by the recent events, everyone was.

"Yeah, I'll be there in a bit, I just wanted to——." Skye was cut off by the mix.

"It's alright Skye, I'll go tell Ryder, just hurry up please." Rocky said as he walked away from the pup house.

As Skye was about to leave the pup house, she noticed Chase's old pup tag flashing and making a sound.

As she picked it up and pressed the button, a message played. After listening to some of it, the pup gasped and walked out of the pup house, going into the Lookout to show everyone what the message was about.

As she entered the Lookout, she was called by Ryder who had a sad but calm voice.

"Pups, I have to inform you that the search teams have found Chase's body and they've agreed to bring it back here for a funeral arrangement, that's all I have to tell you pups for today." Ryder explained.

"Ryder?" Skye called out.

"Yeah Skye? What is it?" Ryder asked.

"I found this, it had a message on it and I was thinking it would only be fair if everyone heard it." Skye handed the boy Chase's old pup tag.

Ryder looked at it and pressed the tag, letting the message play as the pups grouped up together to listen in.

"Ok...this message is for all of you pups, hopefully by the time you're all hearing this, Adventure Bay is back to normal and Maverick's dead. I'm sorry that I did what I did, it was a call I ultimately had to choose. I did this for all of you. Ryder, I want to thank you for taking me in when I had nowhere else to go, I thought I was done for but you saved me, saved all of us. At this point we can never repay you for everything you've done for us. Marshall, my best friend, my true brother, thank you for always being there for me as I've been there for you. We've been through so much together and I'm sorry that it couldn't stay like that. Rubble, stay confident my friend, you'll be the strongest out of all of us. Zuma, you're more useful than you might think, don't let the lack of confidence bring you down. Rocky, I'm sorry for what I've done, I know we've had problems before but please don't hold on to grudges and don't be a stubborn pup, that's mostly my job, I know you lost the trust you had for me when I had to put down Aurora and I get that but you have to move on, all of you have to." There was a sigh after that sentence. "Skye...my sweet Skye, ever since we've met I've always loved you. Who knew that one night could change everything? Cause all of this? I've always promised myself to protect you and the pups no matter what but I failed that too many times, I hope that by the time you're hearing this, I fulfilled my promise. I'm grateful for everything you've all done, I thought that ever since I lost my family, I would never experience that sort of thing anymore. Thank you for showing me what a family was like again. I love you all and Ryder, please don't let anything break the Paw Patrol apart. We're a family and that's what matters." The message stopped as the pup tag slowly turned off.

No one had a clue on what to say, they were too busy taking in everything that Chase said in the message, some were wiping the tears from their eyes as others were still silent.

Ryder walked out the Lookout, surprising the pups, he walked out the doors and sat down in front of Chase's pup house along with the other pups.

The pups huddled next to the boy as they stood in silence.

"Are you okay Ryder?" Marshall asked.

"No...but I will be, we all will. He's right, we're a family no matter what, let's keep it that way." Ryder had a tear fall down from his eye. "For him, let's keep it that way for him."

The pups leaned against each other as Ryder hugged all of them.

"I'll keep the team together Chase, I promise."
