It was 6:00 a.m., and Lincoln was in a dire situation. The road trip begins in an hour, and Lincoln has found a seat in the van that he refers to as "The Sweet Spot," which is the middle far-left seat in the family van. "Vanzilla" and Lincoln's sister, minus Laney, want it for themselves, and it's now a DEFCON 1 fight over it. Lincoln's sisters, minus Laney and Lily, were keeping a close eye on him to make sure he didn't get the spot before they did.

Laney and Lily were sitting on Lincoln's bed as he paced around his room. "This is a disaster! I will not let them have that sweet spot. I know who can help me."

J.D. was sleeping in his bedroom when his cell phone rang at 6:05 a.m. and woke him up. "Hello?"

"J.D., it's Lincoln," said the person on the other end of the phone.

"Lincoln, what's up?" asked J.D., who was now fully awake.

"I apologize for calling you so early, but I found this awesome seat in Vanzilla called the Sweet Spot," Lincoln explained.

"Let me guess, your sisters, minus Laney and Lily, found out about it, and they want it for themselves," J.D. exclaimed.

"That's exactly right," Lincoln replied.

"Say no more. I'm on my way," J.D. said, hanging up the phone.

He grabbed his packed backpack for the road trip, changed his clothes, and dashed to the door to get his shoes. Alfred, his butler, arrives to see what's going on. (This isn't Alfred from Batman.)

"What are you doing up so early, Master J.D.?" Alfred inquired.

"I'm sorry to wake you, Alfred, but my friends over at the Loud House are having Sweet Spot issues," J.D. apologized as he explained what was going on.

"Ahh," Alfred nodded. "I see what's going on, Master J.D. Be careful. I'll notify your mother and father."

"Will do, Alfred, and thank you," J.D. replied.

J.D. puts on his shoes and rushes out the door, spreading his wings, and flies towards the Loud House. He arrived 5 minutes later and knocked on Lincoln's window.

"Thank goodness you've come, J.D.," Lincoln said, relieved as he opened the window.

J.D. pushes his way through the window. "Anything for my friends. So, what exactly is going on?"

Lincoln explains the situation to him, and he opens the door and peers out, while J.D. listens to the girls talking.

"Don't even think about it, Lincoln. I'm watching you," Lynn threatened.

"Well, I'm watching you," added Lori.

"And I'm watching you!" added Lola.

"And I'm watching you!" added Lana.

Lincoln shuts his door and turns to face J.D. "Did you hear that?"

"I certainly did, Lincoln," J.D. replied, frowning. "I believe you. This is far worse than I expected. When the clock strikes 7:00, a full-fledged war will erupt."

The clock said it was now 6:20 AM.

"I don't want my sisters arguing over a petty car seat," Laney said, concerned.

"Have you tried talking to them, Laney?" J.D. asked.

"Yeah, but they wouldn't listen to me," Laney sighed.

He thinks and comes up with an idea. "I've got an idea. Lincoln, besides Leni, Luna, Laney, and Lily, who are the nicest sisters?"

"Lucy and Lana," said Lincoln instantly. "Why?"

"I'm going to telepathically send a message to Leni, Luna, Lucy, and Lana," J.D. explained.

"You can do that?" Laney was astounded.

"Yes, I can," J.D. replied.

"That's incredible," Lincoln exclaimed in awe.

"Now I need to concentrate," J.D. ordered.

He sits in a lotus position, focused on sending Lana a message in her mind. "Lana, can you hear me?"

Lana responded in her mind. "Is that you, J.D.? I can hear you, but I can't see you."

"I'm speaking to you from within your mind," J.D. replied. "I have telepathic abilities as well."

"That's incredible," Lola said to him in her head.

"Thank you very much," J.D. continued, "Lincoln wants the Sweet Spot in Vanzilla for a reason, Lana, and it's not for himself. Allow me to show why by using images from the past."

Lana's mind replayed a montage of what had happened to Lincoln in various seats in Vanzilla:

Lincoln is reading his book when Lily's saliva gets on it. Lily, giggling, throws a beet, juice, and then another beet at Lincoln. As a result, it rendered him unconscious.

Lola and Lana get into a fight near Lincoln. The fight ended abruptly, with Lincoln looking disheveled.

The Springy, The Slanty, The Soggy, and Sticky Seats:

Luan plays silly jokes on Lincoln. Lynn plays Auto-Attack and punches Lincoln with several complaints about the dangers of the car; throwing up on Lincoln after texting Bobby because of car sickness, which Luna calls her THE PRINCESS OF PUKE.

Lana was taken aback by what she had just witnessed. "Okay, I see what you mean. Fighting over a seat is ridiculous."

"I'm glad you realized that," J.D. said proudly. "I'm going to relay the same message to Leni, Luna, and Lucy."

"Okay," replied Lana.

That is exactly what he did. So Leni, Luna, and Lucy gave Lincoln and Laney the sweet spot.

"Thank you for clearing things up for us, J.D.," Lucy said to him in her head.

"No problem, Lucy," replied J.D. "I already told Luan and Lisa, and they don't want the Sweet Spot either."

Back in Lincoln's Room

"All right," J.D. said. "The message has been delivered. Your mom and dad know, too."

"Thank you, J.D.," replied Lincoln.

Lynn Sr. summoned everyone to the Living Room at 7:00 a.m. "Our road trip to Grand Venture State Park is still on. Some of you, however, are not going and will be grounded until we return."

"If J.D. hadn't arrived on time, we would have had to cancel the entire road trip and punish you all," Rita explained.

"I'm glad I could help, Ms. Rita," J.D. smiled, glad he could assist.

"What really astounded me was J.D.'s telepathic abilities," Lynn Sr. said, surprised.

"There are a lot of things you don't know about me, Mr. Lynn," J.D. responded.

"Talk about a mind-reading experience!" joked Lynn, followed by a rimshot. J.D. and Luan laughed, while the other siblings groaned.

J.D. laughed. "Good one, Luan. It was definitely a predictable moment!" A rimshot was heard, and Luan, J.D., Lynn Sr., and Rita laughed.

"Good one, you two," laughed Lynn Sr.

"Yes, they were," Rita agreed. "Now the ones who are grounded are Lori, Lynn Jr., and Lola. Leni, Luna, Luan, Lincoln, Lucy, Laney, Lana, and Lisa will go on the round trip."

The mentioned Loud siblings, ungrounded, cheered while Lori, Lynn, and Lola walked away defeated.

They were on their way after loading everything into Vanzilla. J.D. was invited to join the road trip and accepted quite some time ago.
