The Knudson Estate, Daytime
In J.D.'s room, J.D., Varie, Lincoln, and Laney are sitting on the sofa. Varie and Laney are reading books while J.D. and Lincoln are playing video games.
Laney had an odd thought about her family and decided to ask everyone what they thought. "Hey guys, I've been thinking."
J.D. paused the game so everyone could hear Laney, and J.D. asked, "What's up, Laney?"
Laney paused for a moment before responding. "So, I got my plant powers from the Diamond of Gaia, and I have a strong feeling that there are more diamonds like that out there. I'm starting to wonder what it would be like if my entire family was given superpowers."
Varie was impressed by her line of thought and had a feeling it would come true. "That's a big thought, Laney, and I have a strong feeling you're right."
"That's a possibility, and that would be very cool," Lincoln agreed.
11:00 PM
Lori was waiting to fall asleep in her room as a fierce windstorm raged outside. Winds were gusting to 45 miles per hour. When something smashed through her bedroom window, she was startled.
Lynn Sr., Rita, and Lori's siblings entered and were astounded to see Lori in a tornado of blue wind.
Laney became both excited and concerned about what was happening to Lori. "This is exactly what happened to me when I discovered the Diamond of Gaia!"
Lori was lying on the floor in her room when the tornado disappeared.
Lori regained consciousness and was perplexed. "Wha? What happened? Whoa." She stood up and stumbled backward onto her bed, dizzy. "I'm feeling strange."
Lori then felt a sharp pain in her back, and everyone witnessed an incredible sight. Lori sprouted blue angel wings from her back. She unintentionally fired a blast of wind from her hand, blowing a massive hole in the wall.
"Lori, you have Wind Powers!" exclaimed Laney.
Lori regained her composure and let out a gasp. "I do?" she asked, perplexed.
She fired another blast of wind out the window, which blew some of the leaves off a tree in the front yard.
Lori realized she had wind powers, but her back didn't feel right, so she asked, "Yes, I do! But why do I have such a heavy feeling in my back?"
"You sprouted wings on your back," Lana remarked as she stared at her back in awe.
"Yeah! You're an angel like J.D.," said Lola excitedly.
Lori screamed in horror when she saw the blue wings.
Lincoln noticed she was in a state of panic and decided to make a phone call. "Hold on, Lori, I'll call J.D."
At 11:13 PM, J.D.'s house. When his phone rang, he awoke and answered it sleepily. "Hello?"
As he spoke on the phone, Lincoln was frantic. "J.D., something has happened to Lori!"
"What happened, Lincoln?" J.D. asked worriedly as he awoke upon hearing Lincoln's worried voice.
Lincoln quickly explained, "Lori has grown blue angel wings and has wind powers!"
J.D. gasps in shock, "We're on our way!" He hangs up the phone and shakes Varie, saying, "Varie, we got a code Goddess Diamond!"
Varie immediately awakens, and they dress and head over to the Loud House. They arrived in less than two minutes, and when they got to Lori's room, she told them everything. "I was about to fall asleep when something smashed through my window, and then I was in a blue tornado, and then I blacked out, and the next thing I knew, I had Wind Powers and these wings."
"Hmm," J.D. pondered, thinking he'd heard something about this before pulling out his Legends of the World book and making an interesting discovery.
"Lori, you were given these abilities by the Wind of Ga-oh," J.D. explained.
"Who exactly is Ga-oh?" Laney asked, intrigued because she had never heard of it before.
"The Spirit of the Wind in Iroquois Mythology," J.D. explained.
Lisa asked, double-checking, "The Iroquois Indians in New York?"
J.D. confirmed with a nod before explaining, "Yes. Ga-oh is said to send blue wind every 200 years to bestow his wind powers. These powers, however, are only available to those who are part of or descended from the Iroquois Tribe. Mr. Lynn, does the Loud family have any blood ties to the Iroquois Tribe of New York? "He asked.
Lynn Sr. thought about it for a moment before responding. "Hmm. Yes, I am part Iroquois. But I'm not really sure what the rest of our family heritage is."
Varie gave a thoughtful nod. "Hmm, we'll have to look into that. Lisa, can you get a sample of everyone's spit for DNA testing and country ties?"
"I can do that," Lisa said before leaving and returning with 12 Petri dishes.
"Please provide saliva samples here," Lisa requested.
Lori, Leni, Luna, Luan, Lynn Jr., Lincoln, Lucy, Laney, Lana & Lola, Lisa, Lily, Lynn Sr., and Rita all spit in their dishes. 1 dish for each family member.
"I'll have the results for you first thing in the morning," Lisa told everyone.
"Thank you for informing us, J.D.," Lincoln said, nodding his head.
"No worries, Lincoln. Let's get some rest, shall we?" J.D. suggested.
Lisa summoned them to the kitchen the next morning to learn the results of the Heritage test. "Here are the results. We are 45% Iroquois, 22% British, 15% Norwegian, 10% German, 7% Irish, 6% Icelandic, and 5% Scottish."
The Louds were astounded by what they had just heard.
Lori was surprised to learn that they had so many heritages. "I had no idea our heritage was so intertwined with so many cultures."
J.D. nodded in agreement. "You guys have a big multicultural heritage. But the Iroquois is the strongest culture you have."
"Yeah. That's quite an ancestry," Varie said, agreeing.
"But I had no idea we had Iroquois in our blood," Rita explained.
"I actually moved here from Harlem, New York 30 years ago," Lynn Sr. said.
"I've heard a lot of good things about Harlem and the Legendary Harlem Globetrotters," J.D. said.
"I'm a huge fan of the Harlem Globetrotters!" Lynn exclaimed with glee. She pulls out a basketball, spins it on her finger, and performs various tricks.
J.D. cheered her on. "Whoo! Way to go, Lynn!"
"You go Jr.!" Lynn Sr. cheered.
"Lucy, are you also part Transylvanian?" J.D. asked.
Lucy shook her head. "I'm not sure. Vampires are usually found in Transylvania."
"Lori, having powers like me, J.D., and Laney must have been a huge shock," Varie said, understanding what Lori was going through.
Lori agreed, but then she became concerned. "Yeah. What will Bobby think of this?"
"I'm confident he'll accept this. Ronnie Anne and I accepted that I, Varie, and Laney have powers. "J.D. reassured her.
Lincoln agreed with what he said. "That's true, Lori."
"You've been given a great gift, Lori, and with great power comes great responsibility," Varie said, quoting Spider-Man.
Lori realized they were right, and she had a feeling her powers would come in handy someday. "You're right, guys. Thank you. But I don't think I have good control over my powers."
Laney spoke up. "I can answer that for you. Love is the key to controlling your powers. Your love for Bobby is very strong. It's worked for me because I love my family and my friends."
Lori knew Laney was right. "You're right. I love all of you, and I may be a bossy brat sometimes, but I still love all of you."
Her family smiled at that and came over to give her a hug. After they broke apart from the hug, Lincoln spoke. "Let's get Bobby and Ronnie Anne over here, and they have to know."
Bobby and Ronnie Anne arrived at the house at 10:35 AM. Bobby knocked on the door, and Lori answered.
"Hey Babe," Bobby said as he greeted her.
"Hey, Bobby Boo-Boo-Bear. Come on in," Lori said as she stepped aside to allow them to enter the house.
"Hey J.D.," Ronnie Anne said as she approached J.D.
He greeted her and then began to tell them about what had happened. "Hello there Ronnie Anne, we called you here because a lot has happened in the last 12 hours. But it was Lori who was most affected."
"Babe, what happened?" Bobby asked, concerned.
Lori sighed, spreading her blue angel wings and creating a mini tornado in her hand.
Bobby and Ronnie Anne were shocked at what they were seeing.
"Babe, you're an angel?" Bobby exclaimed in disbelief and awe.
Ronnie Anne was really excited about Lori's wings and powers. "Lori, you have wings and wind powers!? Cool!"
Lori confirmed with a nod, "Yes, I do."
"She was blessed by the Wind of Ga-oh," J.D. explained.
"What exactly is the Wind of Ga-oh?" Bobby asked because he had never heard it before.
"It's Wind from Ga-oh, the Spirit of Wind in Iroquois Mythology. It gave Lori the powers of Wind and Winged Flight," J.D. said.
"We discovered we are descended from the Iroquois Indians of Northern New York," Lincoln explained.
"Mr. Lynn moved here 30 years ago from Harlem," Varie added.
Luna shook her head. "It threw us all for a loop, dude."
"Lincoln, I had no idea you were part Indian," Ronnie Anne marveled.
"Neither did I nor my sisters," Lincoln said.
"I was shocked too," Laney added.
"Babe, you're even more amazing with these powers," Bobby said, his eyes filled with small hearts as he gazed at her, falling even more in love with her.
He kissed her, and it was a truly romantic sight.
"I've always wanted a big sister figure like Lori," Ronnie Anne said, smiling at the sight of the two of them kissing.
"Things just got a lot different," J.D. said, slightly shaking his head.
THE END.
