Terra and Lynn are in the Simulator.

In the control room were J.D., Varie, Starfire, Raven, Laney & Crysta, Lana & Lola, and Lisa.

The Simulator activated, and Terra and Lynn find themselves in a cave. They went on for miles, and trekked until they arrived in a massive air pocket teeming with life and more.

"Oh wow," Terra exclaimed.

Lynn figured out where they were. "We're in the Journey to The Center of The Earth. This is one of my favorite stories."

"It's mine, too," Terra agreed.

They explored the pocket and discovered many magnificent wonders. They saw glowing bluebirds, enormous fossilized mushrooms, and massive plants everywhere. There was even some prehistoric life.

"Terra, have you ever seen a place like this?" Lynn asked.

Terra shook her head. "No, I haven't. But I've read a lot of stories about it."

They continued their exploration and came across a vast ocean.

"Shall we cross?" Lynn asked.

"Let's shall," Terra replied.

Terra and Lynn lifted large rocks into the air and travelled across the ocean on floating rocks.

Lynn had a glowing blue bird on her shoulder, and Terra had one.

They made it to the other side in 20 minutes, where they discovered mysterious blue plants on the cliff's edge, and Lynn noticed a girl with red hair staring at them with interest.

"Terra," Lynn said, "I see someone up there."

Terra nodded. "Yeah. I see her too."

When Lynn and Terra reached the top of the cliff, they saw the girl walking into a blue plant forest. This was unlike anything they'd ever seen before.

"Whoa," Lynn exclaimed. "Terra, this is incredible."

Terra nodded in agreement. "Yeah. I've never seen plants like these before. But first, let's see if we can find that girl."

"Yeah, but stay close," Lynn advised. "I have a feeling something dangerous is lurking in this forest."

Terra nodded. "Yeah. I have a feeling you're right."

Terra and Lynn ventured deep into the Blue Jungle, and the sight was breathtaking.

Blue palm trees, ferns, grass, and other plants were found.

They kept their senses on high alert.

Unbeknownst to them, something was watching them with Inferred Vision.

Terra and Lynn followed the forest further down when they came across a small village.

"This must be the village where that girl came from," Terra realized.

Lynn nodded in agreement. "Yeah. Do you think they are friendly?"

"Let's go find out," Terra suggested.

When Terra and Lynn enter the village, they are confronted by the warriors.

Terra put up her hands. "Whoa! Take it easy. We mean no harm."

The Chief emerged from his hiding place. "You talk with the language of the surface."

"Yes," Terra confirmed.

"What are your names?" asked the Chief.

"My name is Tara Markov, but everyone calls me Terra," Terra explained.

"And I'm Lynn Loud Jr.," Lynn added.

The Chief said, "Ralna here says she saw you two on floating rocks."

Terra nodded. "Yes. We have earth powers. Watch."

Terra and Lynn throw some rocks into the jungle, and one of them collides with something and tumbles down a hill. It was a man with a reptilian appearance.

"That's one ugly man," Terra remarked.

"He's one of the solaroids," the chief explained.

"Solaroids?" Lynn inquired.

The Chief nodded. "Yes. They are evolved ancestral life forms and hunt by the fire of our bodies."

Terra explained, "They hunt by seeing our heat."

The Chief nodded. "Yes. Our tribe is at war with them. We've been at war with them for centuries."

"That's a long time," Lynn realized.

"It is." the Chief confirmed.

The Solaroid suddenly woke up. Terra kicked the Solaroid in the back, and Lynn and Terra fired beams of yellow energy at it, pinning it to the wall and turning it completely to stone.

Lynn widened her eyes. "Whoa! We just petrified it."

Terra nodded in agreement. "Yeah. I didn't know we could do that."

The Chief smiled. "You both are indeed very powerful."

Twenty minutes later, they held a feast in their honor.

There was tribal dancing, singing, and other activities.

"So, chief, how did you all come here?" Terra inquired.

"Terra, that was a long time ago," the Chief remarked. "It was because of an event known as the Spanish Conquest."

Terra remarked, "That was 500 years ago."

The Chief nodded. "Yes. Our people were dying, and when we tried to appease the gods with human sacrifices, it only worsened matters. We are what's left of the Mayans, Incans, and Aztecs of Central and South America."

Terra shook her head, stunned. "But that isn't possible! The Mayan's, Incan's and Aztec's were all wiped out by extreme drought, and deforestation back 500 years ago during the Spanish Explorer era."

"That's correct," the Chief confirmed. "Because of this, and with the arrival of Spanish explorers, we all had no choice but to go deep underground in exile. Never to return."

"So you went into hiding out of fear?" Lynn asked.

The Chief shook his head. "No. We did everything we could. But it wasn't enough."

Lynn said, "It sounds like you've all been around during that time."

The Chief nodded. "That's correct. These blue plants here have a special property that grants immortality; we have been here for over 500 years."

Terra and Lynn were completely taken aback.

"Wow. That's incredible," Terra remarked.

Lynn agreed. "That is amazing."

"It is," replied the Chief.

"There are so many things I want to know," Terra stated. "Have there been any other people here besides us?"

The Chief nodded. "Yes. There is. A female explorer arrived before you and went to that pyramid over there." The Chief pointed to a pyramid in the distance.

Terra and Lynn levitated two rock chunks and floated on top of them, where they could see the pyramid.

"That pyramid over there?" Terra inquired.

The Chief nodded. "Yes. It's in Solaroid territory."

Terra told Lynn, "Lynn, we have to go see that pyramid."

Lynn nodded in agreement. "Right."

"Chief," Terra said, "we're going to check out the pyramid."

"Be careful, my friends," the Chief advised.

Terra replied, "We will."

Terra and Lynn were off and went into the pyramid, where they saw some incredible statues and hieroglyphics.

"All of these hieroglyphics tell a story," Terra explained.

"What do you think they say?" Lynn asked.

Terra shook her head. "I'm no archaeologist, but let's look here." It says, "Long ago, when the great asteroid crashed into the Earth, many of our ancestors were destroyed, and our race went deep underground. We continued to evolve into the people called Solaroids and have lived here ever since the great asteroid."

Lynn's eyes widened at that. "Whoa. So the Solaroids are descendants of the Chicxulub Extinction Dinosaurs."

"It appears so," Terra stated.

"So these hieroglyphics tell us about the Solaroids' history," Lynn realized.

Terra nodded. "Yes. The asteroid that wiped out the dinosaurs slammed into Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula 65 million years ago."

"There has to be some sort of link between the Solaroids and the Mayans, the Incans, and the Aztecs who live here," Lynn speculated.

"There might be," Terra answered. "But who knows?"

Lynn noticed another hieroglyph. "Look at this one. What do you think of this one?"

Terra examined it more closely. "Let's see what happens. It says, "We had dug up the asteroid that destroyed our ancestors and discovered a mysterious crystal inside it that contains powerful energy that makes us immortal and invincible. We built this pyramid to protect it, and the statue that houses it is full of dangerous traps."

"So the Solaroids have this crystal, while the Mayans, the Incans, and the Aztecs have blue plants," Lynn explained.

Terra nodded in agreement. "Yeah. This is so strange."

Terra and Lynn continued their explorations and came across a massive statue with a large red Crystal in its claws in the pyramid's main room.

"That is a huge crystal on that statue," Lynn observed.

Terra nodded. "Yeah. I've never seen a crystal that big."

"What do you think that is?" Lynn asked.

"If I had to guess," Terra said, "I'd say that's the crystal from the asteroid that collided with the Earth 65 million years ago."

"Wow. It's beautiful," Lynn commented.

"Yeah," Terra agreed.

The red crystal glowed and fired two beams at Terra and Lynn, which hit them and gave them a massive power boost.

Terra suddenly sprouted angel wings.

When it died down, Terra and Lynn got up.

Terra groaned. "Wha? What happened?"

Lynn shook her head. "I don't know, Terra." Lynn gasped as she noticed Terra's wings. "Terra, you have wings."

Terra noticed them as well and gasped. "I do!"

They heard a scream for help. "Help!"

"It sounds like someone is in trouble," Terra commented.

"It's coming from down there." Lynn pointed to a room with sand waterfalls.

Terra narrowed her eyes in determination. "Let's go!"

They flew over and saw a blonde-haired girl sinking in quicksand in the room.

Terra called out to her, "Hang on! Stay calm and don't move!"

Terra and Lynn flew over to her and grabbed her hands.

"Pull!" Terra demanded.

They dragged her out of the quicksand and carried her back to the statue.

"Are you okay?" Terra inquired.

"Yes, thank you," the girl replied gratefully, her voice thick with a British accent.

"You must be the explorer we heard about," Lynn thought.

The girl nodded. "Yes. My name is Gabrielle. I don't have a last name, because I am an orphan."

Terra gave her a sympathetic look. "Oh no. I know how you feel. My name is Tara Markov, but everyone calls me Terra."

Lynn introduced herself next. "I'm Lynn Loud Jr. Call me Lynn."

"How did you lose your parents?" Terra inquired, and she then realized that was insensitive and apologized. "I'm sorry if it's too painful to talk about."

Gabrielle let out a sigh and shook her head. "No, it's fine. My parents were killed in a tragic fire. I had no one to turn to."

"That's terrible," Terra expressed her displeasure. "I understand how you feel. My entire country was annihilated in a destructive war. My people are all gone. I am the sole survivor of the Markovia Genocide."

"I'm so sorry, Terra," Gabrielle apologized.

"It's fine," Terra explained, "I have a lot of wonderful friends who consider me a member of their family."

"That's great news," Gabrielle exclaimed.

"What are you doing in this pyramid?" Lynn inquired.

"I was looking for that red crystal." Gabrielle pointed to the crystal.

"That is the Chicxulub Heart. It's a crystal that was inside the asteroid that destroyed the dinosaurs 65 million years ago," Terra explained.

"The Solaroids discovered it and kept it here in this pyramid," Lynn explained.

"Wow, that's incredible," Gabrielle exclaimed.

"We were hit by light beams from it, and it somehow affected our powers," Lynn explained.

"I've got wings," Terra pointed out.

"I had no idea it could affect you like that," Gabrielle admitted.

Lynn shook her head. "Me neither."

The crystal fired another beam, which hit Gabrielle, giving her angel wings.

"Gabrielle, you now have angel wings!" Terra exclaimed in awe.

Gabrielle noticed the wings and fluttered them slightly. "Yes, I do!"

A group of Solaroids arrived, led by the Solaroids' leader, the King of the Solaroids.

"You humans have tainted our sacred pyramid!" King Solaroid shouted angrily.

"We did no such thing," Terra countered. "We went to find Gabrielle here and saved her."

King Solaroid ignored what she had just said and yelled, "Kill them!"

All his soldiers charged, and Terra and Lynn caused a wave of lava to erupt from the ground, melting some of them.

Gabrielle flew into the air and struck the Solaroid King with lightning, causing him to flee.

"You've been given lightning powers, Gabrielle," Terra explained.

"I sure have," Gabrielle agreed.

They left the pyramid and returned to the Mayan village, where they revealed everything.

The Chief took it all in. "I see. I find this hard to imagine. But it's a good thing you all made it back safely."

Terra nodded in agreement. "Me too, Chief. I wish we could stay, but we have to return to the surface."

The Chief smiled. " I understand. Travel safely, my friends. Maybe one day we will meet again."

"I'm sure we will someday," Lynn predicted.

Terra, Lynn, and Gabrielle left for the surface, and a dimension vortex appeared. And they entered, and the exercise was completed. Gabrielle was adopted into the Knudson-Loud Family.

THE END.
