It all starts in J.D.'s room at the Knudson-Loud Estate.
He is looking at his computer when he notices an odd story on a California news website.
"Riley Anderson runs away from home. Police are baffled." He gasped. "That's terrible. Riley Anderson moved to San Francisco, California, from Minneapolis, Minnesota, where she is thought to be running away from life." "Oh no. We have to help her," J.D. exclaimed.
He hurriedly went to Linka and Lincoln's room to explain everything.
Lincoln was stunned. "What?! Why would she run away from home like this?"
"My guess is she wants to go back to Minnesota and have her old life back," J.D. said.
"That could very well be the reason," Lincoln explained, "but running away is not right."
Linka remarked, "That's awful, and you moved here from Colorado, and you are okay with it."
J.D. nodded. "Yeah. I know. Come on, let's find her and help her."
"Yeah," Lincoln agreed. "Let's do it."
"Let's get the girls involved," Linka suggested.
They round up the other Loud Siblings, Varie, Aylene, Starfire, Jessie, Woody, Ed, Edd, and Eddy, and explain everything.
"That poor girl," Lori remarked.
"That is awful, dudes," said Luna.
Laney said, shaking her head, "I can't say I blame her. I'd be very sad and upset if I moved away from home."
"Me too," Lola replied.
"We have to help her," Luan said.
"But how," Eddy questioned. "The USA is a big place. She could be anywhere."
"Siblings and friends, I have the solution," Lisa said. "Follow me."
Lisa led them to her laboratory, where they found themselves in front of a high-tech computer.
"Wow," J.D. exclaimed. "This is a huge computer."
Lisa nodded. "Yes, it's my super Q-4000 Quatroplex 500 Petabyte Supercomputer. We can use it to find Riley Anderson."
"Wow!" exclaimed J.D. "That is a fancy schmancy computer." Let's see it in action."
Lisa narrowed her eyes. "All right. Let's type in her name, where she was, and her personal information.
Within seconds, it pulled up a map of Minnesota, where a photo of her appeared, and a red blinking dot appeared, showing that she was already at her old house in Minnesota.
"She's over at her old house already," J.D. said, looking at the dot.
Varie shook her head. "Poor girl."
"Hold on," Lisa said when she noticed the dot move. "It says she's on the move."
"She must have gone to a friend's house," J.D. speculated.
"She's on the move again," Lisa explained.
"They must've turned her down for a place to stay," J.D. presumed.
"She has nowhere else to go," Lori noted.
"She's miles away from home," Lana realized.
"What are we going to do?" Lily asked.
"There's only one thing we can do," J.D. explained, "bring her here and take care of her until her parents come and get her." "All right, let's go!"
He teleports them all to Riley's former home block, and they arrive.
J.D. looked around and said, "Hmm. Interesting place."
When they spotted her, J.D. exclaimed, "There she is."
Riley was crying uncontrollably. "Mommy, Daddy!"
"Riley," said J.D.
Riley turned around to see who had called her name and noticed the group approach.
"It's all right," J.D. reassured her. "We mean no harm."
"Riley, I know it's hard to move away, and it can change you," Varie said.
"How would you know?" Riley questioned.
"Because, like you, I had to move from Castle Rock, Colorado to Royal Woods, Michigan. It's a suburb of Detroit. I know it's difficult, but I quickly adjusted. I know you miss everyone here, and it's difficult to adjust to a new place you don't know, but these things take time," J.D. explained.
"That's right, Riley," Lincoln replied.
"Yeah," Linka agreed. "Just give it a little time to adjust."
Riley narrowed her eyes and soon recognized them, saying, "Wait a minute, I've seen you all before. You're J.D. Knudson and the Loud Siblings."
J.D. nodded. "That's right."
Riley grinned broadly and exclaimed, "You guys are fantastic! I heard you all defeated the evil Black Daffodil Gang."
Varie nodded. "That's right."
"Let me see if I can figure you out," Riley said, putting her hand to her chin. She said to Lori, "You're Lori Loud, the eldest."
"That's right," Lori replied. "I'm seventeen years old."
"Cool," Riley said. "I've heard you have incredible wind powers."
"That's right," Lori said, nodding.
"Show her, Lori," J.D. instructed.
Lori spread her wings and held mini tornadoes in her hands.
"Awesome," Riley exclaimed. "You're Leni Loud," she said to Leni. "I've seen your fashions in magazines, and they're fantastic."
"Thank you," said Leni, smiling. "I'm totes glad!"
Ed introduced himself and said, "Hello, my name is Ed." "Leni is my girlfriend."
"That's right, Ed," Leni replied.
"Aw," Riley uttered. "That's so sweet." "You're Luna Loud," she said to Luna.
"That's right, dudette," Luna replied. "It's rocking' to meet you."
"Same here," Riley said with a nod. "I love your music. You rock!" She makes the Rock On-hand sign.
"I'm glad I have a fan," Luna said with a smile. "I also have Siren Water Powers. Watch."
Spreading her wings of water, Luan fired a ball of water at a tree, engulfing it and singing to the beat of drums. The singing was so alluring that it drew criminals from all over, crushed them before police cars appeared, apprehended them, and drove off.
"That was awesome!" Riley exclaimed. Riley turned to Luan and said, "You must be Luan." You are the funniest person in the world. I love your jokes."
"I'm glad you think so," Luan said with a grin. "This is one thing you can never RUN AWAY from." She laughed. "Get it?
J.D., Varie, Aylene, Starfire, Ed, Edd, Eddy, Jessie, Woody, Riley, and Leni laugh while the other siblings sigh.
"Luan, you are hilarious!" exclaimed Riley laughing.
"Thank you," Luan said, smiling. "I also have Light Powers. Watch."
Luan spread her Yellow Wings, forming a Fairy, a Mermaid, an Elf, and a Dragon of pure light, and they spiraled around and up into the air, exploding in a dazzling display of fireworks.
"Awesome," Riley exclaimed.
"Luan is my girlfriend," Eddy explained. "By the way, my name is Eddy. I like Jawbreakers and Jokes."
Riley responded, "It's a pleasure," before asking, "Are you talking about the little jawbreakers?"
Eddy scoffed and said, "No way. Those are pathetic. I'm talking about jawbreakers the size of basketballs. Those are the best."
"Wow!" exclaimed Riley. "Those are enormous, and they must be very good." "You must be Lynn," she remarked, turning to Lynn.
"That's right," Lynn replied. "I'm the sports star of the family."
"There's no stopping Lynn, Riley when it comes to sports," J.D. said.
"Wow!" exclaimed Riley. "You have a lot of talent in sports. I play ice hockey."
"That's cool," Lynn said. "That's one of my favorites as well."
"Awesome," Riley exclaimed.
"Yeah," Lynn replied. "I also have Earth Powers. Watch."
Lynn spread her wings, causing an earthquake that shook the area and created a bunch of multicolored crystal clusters.
"Whoa!" exclaimed Riley in awe. "That was awesome!"
"It was, huh," Lynn smirked. "I got my powers when we fought the Black Daffodil Gang."
Riley smiled and exclaimed, "Wicked cool! I don't think I've ever seen you before," she told Shannon.
"I was adopted into the Loud Family," Shannon explained. "My name is Shannon "Gaz" Loud, and I used to be a member of the Black Daffodil Gang."
"Shannon's parents were serial killers who abused her horribly," J.D. revealed. "She joined the Black Daffodil to exact revenge on them."
Riley's eyes widened, and she exclaimed, "Oh, man. That's terrible."
Shannon gave her a small smile. "It's all right. It's all water under the bridge. I've forgiven them."
"That's good," Riley said with a smile. She said to Lucy, "You must be Lucy. The Dark Goth of the Family."
"That's right," Lucy replied. "I'm into vampires and all things dark."
Riley remarked, "I heard you destroyed Henry Kane in Chicago."
Lucy simply nodded. "That's right. I have Dark Powers. He was an evil monster who had to be destroyed once and for all. Watch."
Lucy spotted a man holding a woman at knifepoint. She spread her black wings and transformed her eyes into demon eyes. She shot the man with a blast of black lightning, zapping him, while the woman escaped.
"Let fear consume you for your crimes," Lucy said, glaring at him.
The man saw everything as a horrific place, and a police van arrived, with two men wrapping him in a straight jacket and transferring him to a mental institution.
"Wow!" exclaimed Riley. "That was awesome. What did you do to that man?"
"I destroyed his mind and sanity with fear and paranoia," Lucy explained. "I zapped him with my Black Lightning, and it consumed him with fear, distrust, and paranoia."
Riley's eyes widened, and she exclaimed, "Whoa! That is powerful. I heard you can also kill spirits."
"Only when they deserve it," Lucy stated.
"Wow," Riley exclaimed. "That's cool." She turned around and said, "You must be Laney," to Laney.
"That's right," Laney replied. "I'm the bookworm, artist, and gardener of the family."
"Neat," Riley remarked. "I love reading books and gardening as well. I've heard you have amazing plant powers."
Laney nodded. "You heard right. Watch."
Laney spread her wings, touched the ground, and planted a tree in the middle of the cul-de-sac that actually grows money.
Riley remarked, "Laney, that's incredible." "I've heard of that expression "Money Grows on Trees", and you made it literal."
Everyone came out and took money from the tree.
"That's not all," Lane added. "Watch."
She then grew a bunch of fruit trees and bushes.
Riley was impressed and exclaimed, "Wow! Laney, you have an amazing green thumb."
"That's what everyone tells me," Laney said. Someone then tapped her on the shoulder to get her attention, and she blushed in embarrassment and said, "Oh, and this is my friend Crysta."
On Laney's left shoulder was Crysta.
Riley's eyes widened as she noticed the fairy on her shoulder, and she exclaimed, "Oh wow! It's a pleasure."
"Same here," Crysta replied.
"I can do this, too," Laney said.
Laney summoned a bunch of Loons using her animal communication powers, and they flew in and performed various aerial tricks before Laney flew up, and the Loons made a message in the air. It said Lori and Bobby Forever.
"What do you think?" Laney asked.
"That was awesome!" Riley exclaimed.
"Laney, that was so sweet," Lori smiled.
"Thank you, Lori," Laney replied.
Riley said to Lana, "You must be Lana. The little handyman."
"That's right," Lana replied. "I do toilets, sinks, showers, and cars."
"You're quite the mechanic," Riley observed.
"When it comes to the house's internal and external plumbing, Lana can fix it all," J.D. said.
Lana agreed and said, "Yep. I have ice powers. Watch."
Lana spread her wings, and ice and snow swirled around her hands. She saw a cop pursuing an armed robber and fired a blue beam at him, freezing him in ice.
"Whoa," said the police officer. He said, "Hey, thanks a lot!" when he saw Lana wave at him.
"You're welcome!" Lana shouted back.
The officer ordered a truck, and when it arrived, they loaded the ice block into it and drove away.
Riley said, "Wow." That is awesome."
"I know," Lana replied. "It's a perfect way to freeze the competition."
"Good one, Lana," Luan laughs.
"That was funny," J.D. says with a laugh.
Riley laughed. "That was a good one." She then said to Lola, "You must be Lola, the Beauty Pageant Queen."
"That's right," Lola replied. "I have won multiple beauty pageants and many others. I also have fire powers. Watch."
Lola spread her wings and spotted a thief attempting to break into a house in broad daylight.
"Oh no, you don't," Lola said, narrowing her eyes.
She fired a flame laser from her eyes and set fire to his sneakers.
"Aaaaahh!" screamed the burglar when he noticed his sneakers were on fire and yelled, "Fire!"
He runs around. The family steps outside, puts him out, and wrestles him to the ground.
A police car arrives and arrests him.
"Wow!" exclaimed Riley. "Lola, that was intense."
"I know," Lola replied. "Fire is an extremely dangerous force. It has the power to destroy everything in its path."
"I know," Riley affirmed.
Penny introduced herself next and said, "My name is Penny. I was adopted."
Riley's eyes widened, and she exclaimed, "Oh wow! It's a pleasure."
"Lincoln and Linka saved me," Penny explained.
"I heard about that," Riley said. "You were kidnapped from New York to find the world's largest diamond."
"That's right," Penny replied.
"Madam Medusa and Mr. Snoops were known as the Gulf Coast Bandits," J.D. explained. "They stole treasure from pirate caves all over the Gulf Coast from Florida to Texas."
"That's big," Riley remarked. Riley said to Lisa, "You must be Lisa, the scientist."
Lisa nodded. "Yes, that is correct. It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance."
"Same here," Riley said. "I've heard a lot about your scientific and medical achievements."
"That's correct," Lisa replied. "Being a genius is both a blessing and a curse, though I believe in neither."
"I can understand that," Riley said. Riley turned to Lily and said, "And you must be Lily."
"That's right," Lily said. "I'm 15 months old, but I look like a 10-year-old because of the Glowing Water of Coventina."
"Wow," Riley exclaimed.
"Watch." Lily spread her wings and shot a blast of glowing blue water at a kid who was bullying another kid, soaking him to the bone. The bully bolted, screaming for his mother.
"Yeah, you better run!" yelled Lily.
"Whoa!" exclaimed Riley. "That water has the same light as Chel... Cherne."
"Cherenkov Radiation," Lisa explained. "It's the blue glow of an underwater nuclear reactor."
"Cherenkov Radiation," Riley repeated. "Thank you, Lisa."
"You're welcome," Lisa replied.
"Yeah. Isn't that unusual?" Lily asked.
"Yeah," Riley agreed. "But that's awesome." She then turned to face Lincoln and said, "You must be Lincoln."
"That's right," Lincoln replied. "I'm the only son in my family."
Riley's eyes widened, and she exclaimed, "Oh wow!" "I may not have a large family like yours, but you guys are totally gifted."
"Thanks, Riley," Lincoln said with a smile. "I have lightning powers."
"Me too," Linka said, speaking up. "By the way, I'm Linka Loud. Lincoln's twin sister from another dimension."
Riley tried to understand it, but it went over her head, saying, "That's too complicated for me."
"It was complicated for me, too," Linka admitted.
"But watch this," Lincoln smirked.
Lincoln and Linka spread their wings and saw a man and a woman driving a car and shooting at the police as they drove by. They then fired lighting from their hands at the car and melted it and their guns. The police arrested the couple.
"That showed them," Lincoln remarked.
"Wow!" exclaimed Riley. "That was electrifying!"
"I know," Lincoln replied.
Varie went next. "My name is Varie Knudson." "I'm J.D.'s fiance."
"Wow," Riley exclaimed. "It's a pleasure to meet you. Congratulations, by the way."
"Thank you," Varie said with a smile. "The wedding isn't for another ten years."
Starfire said, "It's a pleasure to meet you, Riley. "My name is Starfire."
Riley exclaimed in excitement, "THE Starfire? You're one of my favorite superheroes."
"I am honored that I have a fan," Starfire said with a smile.
"You are an awesome superheroine," Riley said.
Aylene went next. "My name is Aylene Carter. I moved to Royal Woods from West Virginia."
"It's a pleasure," Riley said.
"I'm the dinosaur adventurer and archer," Aylene explained.
"That's cool," Riley said.
Jessie was up next. "My name is Jessie Bannon. I'm an adventurer and future scientist."
"Cool," Riley said.
Woody was up next. "I'm Woody Woodpecker."
Riley's eyes widened with excitement. "Woody Woodpecker? Awesome. I watch your show all the time. It's awesome."
"It's nice to know I have so many fans," Woody said.
"It's really nice to meet you all," Riley said. "But I don't think I'm ready to return to San Francisco."
J.D. thought for a moment and then replied, "Well. You can stay with us until you're ready to leave or wait for your parents to come and get you."
"Thank you, J.D.," Riley said, relieved.
Five different colored lights shined out of Riley, and out came the embodiments of her emotions: JOY, SADNESS, ANGER, DISGUST, and FEAR.
Riley caught sight of them.
Riley muttered in confusion, "Wha? Who are all of you?"
Joy approached her and said, "We are your emotions. I'm your Joy."
Disgust introduced herself next. "I'm your Disgust, and is that a money tree? Ew!"
Then Anger introduced himself. "I'm your Anger! Hey, shut up over there!"
Sadness then introduced herself. "I am your Sadness. I'm sorry."
Finally, Fear introduced himself. "And I am your Fear." Suddenly, he screams. "What's that?"
"This is amazing," exclaimed J.D. in awe. "These are manifestations of her emotions."
"Indeed," Lisa agreed.
"But how are you guys out here and not inside me?" Riley wondered.
Joy shook her head and said, "We don't have any idea ourselves. But running away is not a good idea. It has ruined your parents."
Riley looked down and said, "I know. But I can't go back to San Francisco. It's so hard for me."
Sadness said, "It's sad," and began crying.
J.D. said to everyone, "Come on. Let's all go back to our house."
They all return to the Knudson-Loud Estate, and Riley is amazed at where they live. They gave Riley a tour. She was allowed to stay in one of the guest bedrooms for a while or until her parents arrived.
J.D. picked up the phone and called Riley's parents.
San Francisco, California.
Riley's mom and dad were very nervous at Anderson's house.
The phone rang, and Mr. Anderson picked it up. "Hello?"
"Hello, is this Mr. Anderson?" said J.D. on the other end.
"This is him," Mr. Anderson replied.
"Good day to you," J.D. said. "My name is J.D. Knudson, and I have good news. We found your daughter, Riley. She was up in Minnesota."
Mr. Anderson breathed a sigh of relief as he realized Riley was safe. "That's wonderful news." It shocked him to hear who had just called and said, "Wait. Did you say you're J.D. Knudson, as in J.D. Knudson and the Loud Siblings, who defeated the Black Daffodil Gang?"
"That's right," J.D. replied.
"It's an honor to talk to you," Mr. Anderson said. "I'm so glad that Riley is safe. She must be with you in Royal Woods, Michigan."
"That's right," J.D. replied. "Would you like to talk to her?"
"Please," Mr. Anderson requested.
"Riley," J.D. said, handing her the phone.
Riley took the phone. "Hello, Dad."
"Thank goodness you're safe, sweetheart," said Mr. Anderson.
When Riley heard her father's voice, she broke down in tears. "I'm sorry I ran away, Dad. I hate San Francisco and want my old life back in Minnesota. I returned to Minnesota to get it back, but it was all for nothing. My old friends no longer want anything to do with me! I don't want to go back to San Francisco! I want my old life back!"
Mr. Anderson took a deep breath and said, "Honey, I know it was a big adjustment, and I'm sorry. I should never have pushed you into liking it. We love you, honey, and I tell you what. We'll pack up and move to Michigan with you."
"Really?" Riley asked in a hopeful tone.
"Of course," Mr. Anderson replied. "We love you, honey."
"Thank you, dad," Riley said.
"You're welcome, honey," Mr. Anderson replied. "Put J.D. back on."
"Okay," Riley said as she handed J.D. the phone back.
As he retrieved the phone, J.D. said, "I'm so sorry Riley ran away, Mr. Anderson."
"Call me Bill," said Mr. Anderson. "We're going to move to Royal Woods and be with Riley. I can tell she likes you guys."
"That's wonderful, Bill," J.D. said. "We like Riley too. She's a huge fan of ours, and I can tell she has a strong spirit. If I may make a suggestion, how about moving into one of our guest houses? We would love to add another family to our estate."
"That's great," said Bill. "It will take some effort, but we will be there in a week."
"I'll talk it over with my mom and dad, and we'll see..." J.D. said, but then he saw his dad next to him and said, "Actually, here's my dad. Here dad."
J.D. handed the phone to Sumner, saying, "Hello."
"Are you J.D.'s dad?" Bill asked.
"Yes, I'm Sumner Knudson," replied Sumner.
"It's a pleasure to talk to you," Bill said. "I'm Bill Anderson, Riley's dad. J.D. and the Loud Siblings found our daughter in Minnesota, and she is with you guys."
"That's right," Sumner replied.
"J.D. suggested we move into one of the guest houses to be with Riley," Bill explained. "Is that okay with you?"
"That's fine with me," Sumner replied. "I can tell Riley is happier here than in San Francisco."
With relief, Bill said, "Oh great. We'll be right over in a week."
"See you then," Sumner replied.
"Bye," he said as he hung up the phone.
1 Week Later.
Riley's parents, Bill and Jill Anderson, were reunited with Riley, and Dad showed them around the 1st Guest House, which they loved. They moved in immediately, and Riley felt right at home. Riley now goes to Royal Woods Elementary School in the 6th Grade. Joy, Disgust, Sadness, Anger, and Fear can transform into jewelry, and they chose a bracelet. Riley met Raven, Terra, Argent, Kole, Bumblebee, Volcana, Robin, Cyborg, Beast Boy, Jeri, the Jedi, Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, Fu, Rin, Hinata, Ino, Tenten, and their friends Clyde, Rusty, Liam, and Zach.
Riley was quickly settling into her new life in Royal Woods. She liked it.
THE END
