Note: This chapter takes place after the Gangreen Terror.
Clyde knocks on the door of the estate, and J.D. and Rachel answer.
"Hey Clyde," Rachel said in greeting.
"How's it going?" J.D. asked.
"Hey Rachel, J.D.," Clyde replied. "Is L… L…" He blubbers. "Get it together, Clyde."
"You want to talk to Lori?" J.D. asked.
"Yes," answered Clyde. "Is she there?"
"One sec," J.D. replied.
"Lori!" shouted Rachel.
Lori came down. "What's up, Rachel?"
"Clyde wants to see you," Rachel explained.
"Oh," Lori murmured. "Hi, Clyde."
"H... hi Lori," Clyde stuttered. "I wa.. want to t..talk to you about something."
"At least he's improving, right, Rach?" J.D. asked.
"Totally," agreed Rachel.
"I've got a surprise for you," Clyde revealed.
"Oh really," Lori responded. "What is it?"
"You'll see, but you have to put this blindfold on," Clyde explained.
Lori replied, "Okay," and placed the blindfold on.
"This is going to be interesting," J.D. predicted. "Let's go with them, Rach."
"All right," Rachel replied.
They join them, and Clyde takes Lori to the park, where he has something hidden under a tarp.
"Ta da!" shouted Clyde.
When Clyde removed the tarp, Lori gasped in shock to discover that it was a brand-new van. (Veronica from Vantastic Voyage)
She gasps. Lori-mobile is written on the van's side.
"Clyde, what is this new van for?" Lori inquired.
"It's my gift for you," Clyde explained.
"It's a really spiffy car," J.D. commented.
"It sure is," Rachel agreed.
"How much did a car like this cost?" J.D. asked.
Clyde answered, "Oh, me and my dads built it, and we have a lot of free time."
"Wow!" remarked everyone.
"Your dads have a lot of free time, Clyde," J.D. observed.
"What do you think, Lori?" Rachel asked.
"Clyde, you are absolutely the best, and I literally love my new car!" Lori gushed.
She kissed him repeatedly, and his face was covered in lipstick marks, and he was sweating profusely and steaming as he laughed giddily.
"You made her very happy, Clyde," J.D. commented. "Let's go check out the van Rach."
"Okay," Rachel replied. "How do you feel, Clyde?"
Clyde was still laughing hysterically. He was still drenched in sweat, and his eyes were filled with hearts.
"I think he's okay," J.D. chuckled.
They enter the van.
"Wow," J.D. uttered. "Clyde and his dads did a great job."
"They sure did," Lori confirmed. "It's literally always been my dream to have my own van."
"You should probably hold him until he's okay," J.D. suggested.
"That's a good idea," Rachel replied. "Let's take Clyde with us and show Mr. Lynn and Ms. Rita what he did for Lori."
"That's literally a good idea," Lori agreed.
They drove up to the estate and pulled into the driveway. Lori honked the horn, and it sounded like La Cucaracha.
"Hey Mr. and Mrs. Loud!" Rachel shouted.
Lynn Sr. and Rita came out and saw the new van.
Lori rolled down the window. "What do you think of my new wheels?"
"Where did you get this van, Lori?" asked Lynn Sr.
"Believe it or not, Mr. Lynn," J.D. replied, "Clyde built it for her."
"Isn't that sweet?" Rachel asked.
"This new van is great!" enthused Lynn Sr.
"It's a magnificent van, Lori," Rita added.
"Thank you, guys," Lori replied.
"Clyde and his dads have way too much free time," J.D. noted.
"Let's take this baby for a spin," Lori suggested.
"Let's do it!" urged Lynn Sr. "Come on, kids!"
Lincoln and the rest of the siblings arrived, amazed by the new van.
"Where did we get a new van?" Lincoln wondered.
"Clyde and his dads built it for Lori," J.D. explained.
"That was nice of him," Rachel added.
"This is a great new car!" enthused Laney.
"Let's go for a ride!" Lana shouted.
"It sure is a Vantastic car," joked Luan, and then she laughed. "Get it?"
J.D. and Rachel laughed while everyone else groaned.
"Good one," J.D. replied.
Clyde came to. "What happened?"
"Lori kissed you all over when you gave her the new van, and you were covered in sweat and laughing, silly," J.D. recounted.
"Clyde, I literally love my new van!" Lori gushed.
"Let's go for a spin," J.D. suggested.
Everybody yelled, "YEAH!"
They pile into the van and drive around the neighborhood.
"Nice ride, Louds!" shouted Mr. Grouse.
