Sasuke Uchiha is a sixteen-year-old teen boy measuring at five foot ten inches, he considers himself average height. He has beautiful alabaster skin, hair the colour of obsidian styled so his long bangs frame his sharp facial features and the back spiked outwards. Finally, he has the most dazzling onyx eyes that rival the galaxy.
Sasuke just moved to yet another new town with his family, he lives with his father Fugaku, his mother Mikoto and Itachi, his older brother. The Uchihas own one of the biggest tech companies in the world, Sharingan Corp.
Growing up, rich, popular, and attractive Sasuke is used to attention, doesn't mean he likes it though. They have lived all over the continent, with the promise of this being their final move Sasuke is hopeful that he'll be able to settle in for once. Being in a smaller community he finds himself wondering if he'll finally be able to go to a school without a gaggle of teen girls and boys swarming him for his looks and money, he knows not to get his hopes up though.
Monday morning came quickly, an alarm went off sending out a barrage of loud irritating beeps. Completely covered in his blanket, Sasuke reaches his arm out trying to locate the annoyingly loud phone. Upon sliding his alarm off he set about uncovering himself and making his way to his washroom.
Making quick work of brushing his teeth, he quickly relieves his full bladder, getting undressed, tossing his dirty clothes in the hamper and jumping into his shower. Once in the shower he blasts the hot water letting the scorching heat envelope his tired muscles while wondering how his first day at Konoha High is going to go.
Squeezing his lavender shampoo into his palm he sets about lathering his luscious hair. Then, reaching for his eucalyptus body wash he pours and lathers it into his luffa and begins scrubbing and exfoliating his body thoroughly.
After rinsing his hair and body, he turns the shower off and steps out. Grabbing his towel, he makes quick work of drying his hair and body. Wrapping the towel around his waist he walks out to his room where he grabs a pair of dark grey boxers and a pair of plain black ankle socks from his expresso-coloured dresser. After slipping these on he proceeds to his walk-in closet throwing on a pair of charcoal coloured skinny jeans, a plain white v neck and his navy-blue hoodie that has his family crest embroidered on the back.
Finally, being suitably dressed he returns to his washroom to fix his hair. Applying a little lavender fragranced hair balm, he runs his hands through the back of his hair getting the spikey effect just right. Exiting his washroom he grabs his phone, wallet and backpack and makes his way out of his room and down the grand staircase dropping his bag off by the front door then making his way to the kitchen.
Entering the kitchen Sasuke's greeted by his mother, she was a cute little woman with features that matched Sasukes.
"Good morning, Sasuke, are you hungry?" she asks kindly.
"Morning mother, of course" he responds with no emotion.
Upon sitting down his mother produces a plate with a spinach and tomato omelette with bacon and buttered toast and a glass of orange juice on the side.
Beginning to eat his breakfast he's greeted by a voice behind him "Morning little brother."
The voice belonged to none other than his perfect older brother Itachi. Itachi was around six feet tall, his skin was fair like freshly fallen snow, his face had two stress lines down each cheek, he had the same onyx eye that Sasuke has but his hair was a lighter, less luminous black that was longer and tied into a loose ponytail. He was dressed in his finely pressed black suit, a white button up and a red tie. He looked the part of CEO in training.
"Morning Itachi," Sasuke says, not even taking the time to turn and look at his brother.
"Excited for your new school?" Itachi inquires.
"Have I ever been?" He asks flatly, not really caring to engage in this conversation.
"Come one Sasuke, we're here to stay, may as well get comfortable" he says smirking at Sasuke.
Rolling his eyes, he scoffs "whatever not all of us can be perfect like you Itachi."
"Now don't be like that. Anyways, after you finish eating, get ready to head out, I'm taking you to school today." Itachi says before taking his leave.
Having lost his appetite, Sasuke clears his plate, placing his dishes in the sink then making his way to the front door, slipping on his charcoal-coloured high tops, then grabbing his bag he makes his way out to Itachi's Black four door Mercedes.
One thing the brothers will always share is their taste in music, they have an appreciation for all types, but rock and metal will always hold a special place in their hearts. Blasting some System of a Down, Itachi makes his way out of their gate and heads towards Konoha High.
As Itachi pulls up to the curb in front of the school the clock shows 8:30am Sasuke thinks to himself 'well at least I won't have to deal with screaming girls right off the bat.'
Before Sasuke can exit the car Itachi looks over at him and gives him a hopeful smile "Have a good day Sasuke, I really do hope you are able to make some friends finally."
Sasuke rolls his eyes at him and turns to get out of the car, before he shuts the door he says, "you too Itachi."
As Sasukes back disappears into the school Itachi allows himself to genuinely smile 'maybe things will be different' he thinks to himself as he drives off heading towards the office for another full day of mogul training.
Upon entering the building Sasuke is a little taken back, he didn't expect the school to be this large. A lot of the schools he's been enrolled in, in the past have been stuffy and cramped but at first glance this one appears to be rather spacious. The ceilings were tall, and the hallways were wide.
The office was directly to the right of the front entrance to the school. 'Well, that's convenient, ' thought Sasuke.
Entering the office Sasuke is greeted by a short robust woman with purple hair and teal eyes. She had thick round glasses, a black skirt, and a pinky button up shirt. She looked as if she was searching for something.
"Well great, guess I'll have to make another copy" she grumbles to herself.
Clearing his throat to alert the woman to his presence Sasuke speaks up and says, "I'm Sasuke Uchiha, I'm new and was told to collect my schedule here."
Looking up from her desk she gives him a dazzling smile "Ah, nice to meet you Sasuke, yes we were expecting you, just give me a second and I'll have your schedule and locker information for you."
As she disappears into the back room of the office Sasuke takes in the simple office layout, it's not big by any means, but it's also not cluttered, it has a very cosy feel to it.
Coming out of the back with a piece of paper in her hand she walks over to Sasuke "alright so here's your schedule; you'll find your locker number at the top left and if you have any difficulty with your combination make sure you ask."
"Thanks" he responds with a slight head bow.
"No problem, now it looks like you have English first period with Kakashi Sensei- "She begins to speak but is interrupted by a man with spiky silver hair wearing a band over his left eye and a face mask.
"What about my Beatrice?" he asks with what Sasuke could only assume was a smile.
"Oh Kakashi! Wait, shouldn't you be in class?" She questions him.
Waving his hand dismissing her question, Kakashi points out the window towards the parking lot and says, "I just had to help an old lady cross the street."
"Uh huh" she says, raising an eyebrow at him.
Realising they're being stared at, Kakashi speaks up again "so who's this?"
"Ah yes, this is Sasuke Uchiha, he's new and just so happened to be in your English class. Seeing you're here, why don't you show him to class seeing your destination's the same?" Beatrice asks.
Turning towards the dark-haired teen giving him a smile and holding his hand out, Kakashi says "Of course, nice to meet you Sasuke, I'm Kakashi Sensei."
Reaching out to meet his hand Sasuke firmly shakes his hand "nice to meet you too Kakashi Sensei."
Kakashi turns to leave saying "Alright well follow me lets chow you to your locker, we're already late."
Nodding his head Sasuke quickly follows behind the tall pale man.
"What is your locker number?" his Sensei asks.
Taking a quick look at his schedule "1157" the young Uchiha answers.
"Interesting" mumbles Kakashi.
"Pardon?" he questions his teacher, not hearing what he said.
"Oh nothing, your lockers right by the pod my English class is located in, quite convenient for first period." Kakashi states.
"Hn" Sasuke replies.
The two walked through the empty halls in silence, which is fine by Sasuke, the less people butting in on his life the better. "Ah, here you are." The teacher abruptly says.
Being previously lost in his own thoughts Sasuke cocks an eyebrow and questions "hn?"
"Your locker." Kakashi smiles, knowing exactly who the young Uchiha is and how he must have a million things going through his mind today.
Sasuke gives a slight nod as if saying thanks.
Walking over to a door located at the end of the row of lockers, Kakashi opens it and gestures for the teen to follow. "This is the pod room 107, my English class is in."
Following behind the silver haired teacher they make it to the class around the far left of the pod. Just as Kakashi was about to open the door he stops then looks at Sasuke.
"You ready?" he asks the emotionless teen.
Rolling his eyes, then nodding, Kakashi opens the door and enters first.
Whispers could be heard but were interrupted by a loud piercing screech "KAKASHI SENSEI YOU'RE LATE!"
Bringing his hands up to soothe his abused ears drums Sasuke has one thought 'that's not a good sign'.
"Please Sakura, not so loud. I was actually just collecting our new student" Kakashi announces.
"Wow, an actual valid reason sensei? Colour me impressed, the girl retorts.
Sighing the silver haired sensei signals for Sasuke to enter.
Upon entering Sasukes hopes, and dreams were crushed immediately. The whole room echoed with comments regarding who he is, how hot he is, if he's single, how they'll be the one he falls in love with.
'Some things never fucking change' he thinks to himself.
Sasuke sends a bone chilling glare around the room, that is until he notices in the far back corner beside the window sat a bundle of black lurched over a desk either oblivious to what's going on or just completely ignoring it. You couldn't make out anything about the blob in the back, they wore a hood and had their face hidden in their arms.
'Interesting' Sasuke thought.
Never in all his schools has anyone been oblivious to an Uchiha, just his name is enough to make even the most uninterested stare. Sasuke found this very refreshing but knew not to get his hopes up just yet.
Being brought out of his thoughts he hears Kakashi sensei tell him to introduce himself.
"I'm Sasuke" he responds impassively.
"Alright Sasuke, we're a bit short on seats, you'll have to take a seat next to Naruto." Kakashi states.
Before Kakashi could finish, hate was being spewed from all over the room about Naruto. Things like how much of a freak he was, how no one should have to be near him, let alone an Uchiha. Everyone wanted Sasuke to be their desk mate, putting Sasuke with Naruto was cruel and not fair.
Sasuke ponders 'Why do they hate this Naruto so much?"
"Enough! I will not hear anymore of this, Sasuke will sit with Naruto and that is final" Kakashi shouts, trying to bring in some semblance of order.
"Mr. Uzumaki, raise your hand please." Kakashi asks but no response.
"Naruto raise your hand" he asks again a little louder.
Finally having enough, Kakashi picks up one of the dry erase markers from the white board and chucks it at the black blob, hitting it dead on.
"Naruto, wake up!" Kakashi scolds.
'So, Naruto is the mystery blob, great' Sasuke thinks while mentally rolling his eyes.
Naruto still made no attempt to lift his head, he simply scoffed and waved his hand dismissively before resuming his previous position.
Giving up and letting out a sigh of surrender Kakashi says to Sasuke "Well, you can take your seat now."
To this Sasuke responds "hn."
Choosing to just ignore the whispers Sasuke makes his way over to his desk. Upon getting closer to Naruto's he notices he's wearing a Slipknot sweater.
'At least the dobe has good taste in bands' he makes a mental note.
Pulling his chair out and taking his seat, Sasuke is a little taken back, not only has Naruto not said anything to him, but he also hasn't even looked at him. Sasuke is so used to people staring at him and bothering him, he had forgotten what it was like to have a person be completely oblivious to him. Just this one person had made him forget the class full of kids fawning over him.
Kakashi walks to the back of the room and over to Sasuke "here you go" he says.
Handing Sasuke, a copy of Crabbe by William Kakashi clarifies, "we just started reading this on Friday, so we're not too far ahead, just make sure to get through chapter 6 by tomorrow and don't worry about any older work the class is working on."
Looking over at Naruto Kakashi sighs then retreats back to his desk and announces "everyone, this will be a catch-up period, if any of you haven't finished your reading work on that, if the rough copy of your essay isn't done do that, if you're done everything, I don't care what you do, just don't bug me."
Sitting down and pulling a very worn looking orange book Kakashi begins to drown out his class.
With nothing else to work on, Sasuke opens the book and begins to read, getting part way through he realises Naruto still hasn't made a move to grab any work.
'Is he really that unmotivated?' asks himself.
Before he could realise that he'd been staring, a deep bassy voice asked, "Can I help you?"
At first Sasuke had no idea where the voice came from, he'd never heard such a deep voice before. The bass of the voice vibrated his heart just by simply talking. Quickly regaining his composure and determined not to let his wonder show he responds, "Just wondering why you're not doing any work."
'Wait, did I actually just answer him?" Sasuke mentally panics.
Sounding uninterested, Naruto simply says, "I'm already done."
Something about Narutos voice was soothing to Sasuke, he didn't want the boy to stop talking.
'What the fucks happening to me' he scolds himself.
Just as he was about to formally introduce himself to Naruto in hopes of actually starting a conversation for once in his life, a voice he recognized from the beginning of class interrupted him.
Before him were two girls. One was a short, thin girl with fair skin, shoulder length pink hair pulled back with a blue headband and eyes the colour of emeralds. She wore a tight red dress that came down to her mid thigh. The second was a tall, curvy, pale girl with long blonde hair pulled into a very high ponytail, her eyes an icy blue. She wore a purple mini skirt and a matching crop top.
"SASUKE-KUN! I can't believe you're at my school! I'm Sakura Haruno. I was hoping we could go out after school and get to know each other, you know, both of us being kids from famed families and all?" She asks with a fake irritating giggle.
"Knock it off billboard brow! If he's going out with anyone it's me!" An unknown blond girl exclaimed.
"In your dreams Ino-pig!" Sakura screeched.
Not sure how to defuse the situation and get these girls away from him so he can go back to trying to get the soothing boy to talk to him some more he shoots the girls a glare and says "No, go away."
"Oh, come on Sasuke-Kun you know you want to go out with me, why don't you get away from the freak Naruto and come over to my desk and we can get to know each other a bit better? "She tries to ask seductively.
"No Sasuke-Kun wants to come to my desk and get to know me!" the girl Sasuke assumes is Ino yells.
Rolling his eyes and clicking his tongue in annoyance, he's about to tell the infuriating girls to fuck off, but before he could that soothing voice lulls him again. "Hurano, Yamanaka, would you please shut the fuck up and go away, the man doesn't want to talk to you. Had you been in his position you'd cry harassment, so save us some sanity and just go away."
Seething, Sakura says, "Shut the fuck up you freaky worthless fag! You're going to infect my Sasuke-Kun"
'What the fuck is wrong with her?' Sasuke asks himself. He can't believe the derogatory slurs coming out of this girl's mouth. After all, Itachi was gay, him and his brother may argue and try to best each other but he will forever love his brother no matter who his brother loves. To judge somebody of their sexual preference infuriated him.
He was about to speak up but Naruto beat him to it.
Snorting, Naruto responds "First of all Hur-a-no, calling me gay isn't an insult, there's nothing wrong in loving who you love. Secondly, I'm not gay sweetie I'm bisexual get it right. Just because I'm one of the only guys who refused to fuck you doesn't make me gay it makes me smart. Finally, if you're going to insult me, at least get it right."
Sakura was speechless, regaining the ability to speak she walks in front of Narutos desk, rests her hand on his desk allowing her to lean in a bit and sneers "Whatever, a whore is still a whore."
He can ignore many things but being reminded of his sex life by people who don't know it's his own way of feeling somewhat in control of his own body after what he's been through causes Naruto to react. For the first time all period the blob of black lifts his head, looking directly into Sakura's eyes Naruto snarls "I suggest you go sit down, wouldn't want Lee finding out you're trying to pick up the new guy."
"You wouldn't!" screeched Sakura.
"Try me, unlike you I'm not fucking with someone's heart" he challenges.
Ino was watching the exchange the whole time and decided it would be best if she simply finished her reading. Being in Kibas group she promised to always have his back, so making sure Naruto suffered for hurting her friend was always her top priority but something about this exchange made her nervous, it was almost like something was preventing her from breathing.
Sakura does not take kindly to being threatened, but something in Narutos eyes scared her a bit, she swore for a moment that his dazzling cobalt eyes flickered red for a moment. Breaking eyes contact she backs away slowly and returns to her desk, but not before chirping "I'll talk to you later Sasuke-Kun!"
Letting out a heavy sigh, Naruto turns his head to look out the window. Naruto knew who Sasuke was, you'd have to be living under a rock to never have heard of the Uchiha family. The only difference between Naruto and the rest of the population is he couldn't care less. If Sasuke was going to have the unfortunate luck of sitting next to him, he can at least do him a solid and be his normal quiet, keep to himself, self.
Sasuke was shocked 'what the fuck did I just witness' the thought.
Coming back to reality Sasuke finally realises the boy's head is no longer pressed into his arm against his desk. Naruto had the back of his head facing him and appeared to be looking out the window. Sasuke was curious, he really didn't know why, but he wanted to know what the boy with the captivating voice looked like.
'Am I getting sick or something? There has to be something seriously wrong with me' he mentally scolds himself.
Finally speaking up, he says something he's never said to anyone but his family "Thanks."
Naruto furrows his eyebrows, 'did he just thank me? Did I hear that right?'
Sasuke watched as Naruto slowly turned towards him, in his anticipation he had to remind himself to breathe. Once the mysterious boy was finally facing him, what he saw left him speechless. Staring back at him was a boy with tuffs of golden sunshine hair peeking out of his hood, beautifully tanned skins that had three unique marks on each cheek but what left him breathless were his eyes, they were the most beautiful eyes he's ever seen. Never before has he seen eyes that had so many shades of blue before, it was like the sky swallowed the ocean producing the two dazzling sapphires staring back at him.
Naruto has seen many pictures of the young raven in the news, but none seem to do the boy before him justice. He can certainly see why everyone fawns over him. His alabaster skin paired with his dark obsidian hair and glimmering onyx eyes that rival the night sky was certainly enough to make even Narutos heart flutter.
When Narutos cobalt sapphires met Sasukes onyx galaxies it felt like the universe took a momentary pause, both teens unable to look away having found a beauty neither had seen before.
Finally realising he hasn't responded to the raven, Naruto says "um, don't mention it."
"I'm Sasuke" says Sasuke, mentally slapping himself for sounding so lame.
"Naruto," the blond replies.
With that the bell rings signaling the end of first period. Both boys remained at their seek seemingly having the same idea, let the crowd clear out first, then head out.
"Sasuke-Kun! Come, I'll take you to your next class!" exclaims the annoying pinkie.
"No" Sasuke says flatly, not even bothering to look at the girl.
"But Sasu-" she begins to chirp but gets cut off.
"Actually I already agreed to take him," the blond interjects.
Furious the girl yells "no way would he agree to a freak like you taking him anywhere!"
"First of all Sakura, you're annoying. Secondly, he's right, I've already asked him to take me." Sasuke glares at the girl.
"Shall we go Sasuke?" the blond smirks.
Internally shivering at how nice his name sounds coming from the blonds mouth he just nods. Both boys get up, Sasuke follows Naruto out of the classroom, taking in how his shoulders are broadened and how he's a little taller than himself. 'He's definitely an attractive guy.' he thinks to himself, immediately regretting his thoughts.
'What is wrong with me?' the raven scolds himself yet again.
Walking out of the pod of classrooms, Sasuke can't help but realise the whispers aren't only about him, there are a lot of students whispering about the intriguing blond as well. One of them getting looks of admiration, the other of disgust. Sasuke finds himself wondering 'what could be so bad about him?'
Observing the raven try to ignore the stares and whispers, Naruto feels obligated to apologise, "Yeah, sorry about that, if you're trying to go about blending in, I'm the last person you're going to want to be seen with."
Not accustomed to others genuinely being concerned about his well-being , he wasn't sure how to respond, so he simply shrugged "don't worry about it, I'm well versed in stares and whispers."
"Still, being around me is going to cause you a lot of grief," Naruto slightly frowns.
Sasuke didn't like the concerned look on the blond, for a moment he wondered what his smile was like. Now was his turn to feel obligated to say something. "I honestly don't know why I'm saying this because I usually try to avoid everybody but If I'm being honest you're the first person in a while who hasn't been obsessed with me for everything my name represents. I'll be getting stares and whispers regardless, our circumstances may be different but at least you somewhat understand the constant scrutiny."
Naruto stopped for a moment, stunned at the stoic teens words, he couldn't believe Sasuke Uchiha, the same boy articles had dubbed the ice prince had said something so kind to him. Looking over at the raven he graced him with a kind smile, it wasn't very big, but it was more than he'd shown in a long while. "Thanks Sasuke."
'I was right, his smile is so warm' Sasuke noted.
A soft "hn" was heard from the raven, the almost invisible smile he returned did not go unnoticed by Naruto.
They continue making their way to the same row of lockers Sasuke's was at, stopping right beside his locker. The raven raises an eyebrow "How did you know my locker was here?"
Taken back a little the blond shakes his head and points "oh I didn't, that's my locker."
"Hn" the raven responds as he waits for the blond to switch out his books.
On the outside Sasuke seemed indifferent, but inside he was a little perturbed. For the first time in a while he met someone he didn't hate, now he's not only desk mates with him, but locker mates too. They say the world is small but honestly what are the chances? "I wonder if we have any classes-' he's startled out of his thoughts by the sound of a very aggressive locker slam.
Forgetting he's not alone a very irritated Naruto is rests his forehead against his locker, clutching a piece of paper, mumbling to himself, all Sasuke manages to understand is "never fucking changes."
Not being one to comfort or show concern, Sasuke does what any Uchiha would do, he stands there and acts uninterested. He would be lying to himself if he said he wasn't even the least bit curious.
Realising he's supposed to be showing the young Uchiha to his next class he shoves the paper into his front pocket and goes back to his usual calm demeanour. Naruto reaches his hand out "can I see your schedule?"
Nodding, Sasuke opens his bag, slides his schedule out and hands it to him.
Looking at the pristine schedule Naruto sighs "Unfortunately for you, you're with me for science with Orochimaru sensei."
The raven furrowed his brow "Why unfortunately?"
Being vague the blond waves his hand gesturing to follow him "You'll find out, come along."
The boys walked together in a comfortable silence, neither one of them felt the need to say a word. Reaching the top of the stair the bell rings signaling class to start.
"Fuck! Come on, we need to go!" The blond urges taking off in a sprint.
"Hey!" Is all Sasuke can say before he finds himself chasing after the blond responsible for seeing him to class. 'They hell is the rush?' he wonders.
Arriving at what must be their class, Naruto quickly disappears into the classroom, before Sasuke gets through the door he hears the whispers ignite immediately, but his attention is drawn to a different voice almost instantaneously.
"Mr. Uzumaki you're late to my class, you know you'll have to make it up to me after school" came a voice that creeped Sasuke out, it sounded like the man wanted to eat Naruto up.
Now he understands 'ah, unfortunate indeed.'
