Ice Cap Zone (South of Lake): Day 12
Survivors: Dante - Scout - Knuckles - Kazuma Kiryu - Tails - Mr. Krabs - Princess Daisy - Tracer - Rodin - Miles Edgeworth - Goro Majima - Waluigi - Nero - Sniper - Joseph Joestar - Wii Fit Trainer.
"Come on in!" Greeted Alexa.
Elbrass and Manjari both arrived simultaneously, placing themselves adjacent to one another as they eyed the contents of today's challenge. Today's challenge wasn't too impressive visually: it consisted of six identical pairs of seats, and between each pair was a solid wooden block. It looked to be a challenge that focused heavily on endurance, while also requiring the use of teamwork.
While they were eyeing the challenge, Alexa brought in the Denalo tribe.
"Take a look at the new Denalo tribe," he said, raising Polnareff's snuffed torch into the air. "Last Tribal Council had Jean Pierre Polnareff sent home."
Polnareff's elimination shocked both tribes, though it was Krabs' lack of elimination that managed to shock them even more. Though Kiryu, Scout, and Daisy weren't pleased by this outcome, others like Dante and especially Nero were far from disappointed.
As Denalo's measly four survivors settled in, also having a chance to take a look at the challenge ahead, Alexa picked up on Nero's satisfaction.
"Nero. You're grinning," he said. "As a former Denalo member, did you expect this outcome?"
He shook his head. "I had a feeling he would be the last person to be eliminated from that tribe. I have a hunch that he was behind my blindside, so seeing him leave is probably the best thing to happen in the last week."
Alexa nodded before then turning to Wii Fit Trainer. "Well, Wii Fit, how was the mood at camp following his elimination?"
"He definitely had a lot of charisma that made the camp more lively, but I think we'll all stand by the decision that him going home was the best for all of us," she explained.
"Well, I guess we'll have to find out as the game unfolds," he winked, turning to the challenge. "Anyway, let's get down to today's challenge!"
*Today's challenge will put your determination to the test! Four members from each tribe will split off into two pairs. Each pair has both players sitting opposite each other, and are tasked with holding up a wooden cube using only their feet. If at any point, the cube falls and hits the ground, then that pair is out of the challenge.
The first tribe to lose both pairs will be the losing tribe, where they will be sent to Tribal Council to decide who will be the sixth survivor to be eliminated from this season. While today's challenge has no special prize for the two winning tribes, they will receive immunity that will make them safe from the vote as per usual.*
"Sounds simple... deceptively simple," Edgeworth remarked.
Alexa clasped his hands together. "Right! Before we begin, Elbrass and Manjari will need to select two members to sit out of today's challenge. You cannot sit survivors out in back-to-back challenges, meaning Edgeworth and Daisy must compete in today's challenge."
Elbrass and Manjari quickly huddled together to discuss who to sit out.
"I'll sit out," said Rodin. "I ain't small enough for a challenge like this."
"My legs are too long for this-a dumb challenge," Waluigi groaned. "I'll sit out too."
As Elbrass came to a consensus quickly, Manjari did the same.
"I wouldn't do too badly," said Joseph. "But I think it's best if I sit out."
Joseph looked around. "Anyone else?"
"Screw it. This challenge is too damn boring for my tastes," Majima groaned.
As both tribes held their hands up, Alexa recapped their decisions.
"For Elbrass, Rodin and Waluigi will sit out. For Manjari, Joseph and Majima will sit out," he explained. "Now, the next step is deciding who pairs with who! After that, we can start the challenge."
Once again, the tribes huddled together.
"I think Nero and Dante would be the strongest pair," said Tracer. "I think it's important to put them together."
Dante shrugged. "Sounds reasonable to me! And that leaves you and Edgeworth on the second pair."
Similarly, Manjari once again found easy pickings for the pairs.
"I think Sniper and myself would work well together," said Kiryu. "Which means-"
"-Me and Daisy are on the other pair, right?" Scout nodded. "Piece of cake."
As for Denalo, skewered heights resulted in a slightly tougher time deciding on who to pair.
"I think Knuckles and myself would be a good pair," Tails predicted. "Are you two okay being a pair?"
Though Krabs was much shorter than Wii Fit, she nodded nonetheless. "We'll give it a try!"
As the tribes finally came to their conclusions, they paired up and made their way to the seats.
In the front two rows were the Elbrass pairs: Miles Edgeworth and Tracer on one; Dante and Nero on another.
In the middle two rows were the Denalo pairs: Tails and Knuckles on one; Mr. Krabs and Wii Fit Trainer on another.
And in the back two rows were the Manjari pairs: Kiryu and Sniper on one; Daisy and Scout on another.
As the survivors took their seats and grabbed the blocks between them, Alexa began the challenge.
"Alright! Place the cube between the feet of you and your partner and hold it. Remember, if it falls onto the ground, then that means you're out!"
With precision, each pair placed the cube between them and clamped it still using their feet. As the pairs managed to get the cube successfully between them, most realised that this challenge was going to be much tougher than how they initially thought.
*1 MINUTE IN*
All six pairs were stable, with no adjustments made so far. Some survivors already felt uncomfortable from the positioning, but they knew that pushing through that was their only option.
"A lot of things are gonna play a role in this challenge," mentioned Alexa. "Your height, your strength, your mental willpower... heck, even the size and grip of your shoes will have a pretty important impact as the challenge progresses. You all seem to be pretty stoic, but I imagine that'll begin to change later on."
He then eyed the oddball pair of Wii Fit and Krabs. "Drastic height differences probably have the biggest impact on coordination with your partner. If one of you starts to slip, then there's not much that can be done to salvage that."
"Pssh... this'll be fine!" Krabs exclaimed, his face already showing strain.
*10 MINUTES IN*
As things began to become more natural for certain pairs, other pairs felt the challenge get tougher by the second. Scout and Daisy were beginning to show slight signs of pain, but Krabs was especially beginning to struggle. However, Wii Fit continued to remain stoic, attempting to give Krabs as much support as possible.
"How are you hanging, Edgey?" Asked Tracer.
"Fine... somewhat," he said. "I'm not used to... whatever this is we're doing right now."
To his side, Dante huffed with amusement. "I don't think anyone's used to balancing a block in the air using only their feet with a partner," he said sarcastically.
*15 MINUTES IN*
"Err... lass," said Krabs, eyeing his partner.
Wii Fit turned her head in his direction. "What's up?"
"I don't think I can go on much longer. I feel like my feet are about to snap off..."
"You're fine. Just keep pushing through it. It'll get easier," she promised.
Though Scout was also showing signs of struggle alongside Daisy, he couldn't help but scoff. "You seriously gonna drop out after only thirty frickin' minutes?"
Jumping into the conversation, Alexa corrected him. "Actually, this challenge is just coming up to fifteen minutes."
"Wha..." He froze. "Only fifteen?!"
*20 MINUTES IN*
With most survivors attempting to zone out, the challenge was quiet yet intense. At this point, it looked like no survivors were ready to drop out just yet, contrary to the struggling some had shown just five minutes earlier.
However, out of seemingly nowhere, Krabs retracted his legs from the cube, causing it to fall and hit the ground. Nothing but a quiet thud signaled his and Wii Fit's loss.
"Wii Fit and Mr. Krabs are out of the challenge!" Bellowed Alexa. "Just twenty minutes in, and we're done to five pairs. Two on Elbrass and Manjari, and one on Denalo."
The two left their seats and joined the spectators on the benches.
*30 MINUTES IN*
With the half-hour mark finally passing, struggle finally returned to the faces of Scout and Daisy, their legs shifting left to right in a futile attempt to alleviate the pain. In addition, Edgeworth was also beginning to grimace, the strength in his legs rapidly weakening.
"Scout, Daisy, and Edgeworth are definitely starting to feel the burn," said Alexa.
Noticing his struggle starting to amplify, Tracer attempted to help Edgeworth by using her legs to push the block closer to him. This made things easier on Edgeworth, but harder on Tracer.
*35 MINUTES IN*
As the struggling got greater for Scout, Daisy, and Edgeworth, it became apparent that Tracer and Sniper weren't doing too well either.
Though they were mainly stable, a sudden slip from Sniper resulted in the block slowly sliding downwards. Thankfully, right before it fell out of their grasp, both were able to press down and lock it back in place.
"Bloody hell... that was close," Sniper sighed.
While they were able to keep their block from falling, Scout and Daisy were relentless in trying to keep the block in the air. They shifted it back and forth towards each other, scrambling for a comfortable position.
"A lot of discomfort from everyone," said Alexa. "Dante and Nero, alongside Tails and Knuckles, are the only two pairs to show minimal struggle since the start of this challenge."
*40 MINUTES IN*
"You guys are forty minutes into the challenge!" Alexa applauded. "And so far, only one pair has dropped out."
Daisy, now in excruciating pain, shook her head. "I think it's about to be two..."
Visibly exhausted, Scout still encouraged her to keep going. "No way do either of us... wanna be the second pair out... that's a... f-frickin' embarrassment!"
She nodded, pushing through all of the pain that came her way.
"An important part of challenges like these is to have the mental capacity to keep going, no matter how hard your body is telling you to quit," Alexa said.
*45 MINUTES IN*
Nearly a full hour into the challenge, Scout and Daisy were beginning to shake, the cube slowly slipping out of their grasp until their heels were the only thing keeping it propped in the air.
"...C'mon... just drop already!" Scout whined.
Coincidentally, as the command left his mouth, Edgeworth and Tracer simultaneously dropped their legs, resulting in their block falling to the ground.
"Edgeworth and Tracer are out!" Alexa declared. "This leaves-"
Cutting him off, Scout and Daisy both retracted their legs, letting the block fall to the ground.
"...Scout and Daisy are now also out of the challenge!" He added. "This leaves three pairs left: Dante and Nero; Tails and Knuckles, and Sniper and Kiryu! Whoever drops out next will lose the challenge for their tribe and will be sent to Tribal Council! Trust me, you do not want to be that guy."
With both pairs slowly walking off to the sidelines, the challenge suddenly got a whole lot tenser.
*60 MINUTES IN*
Though the three remaining pairs showed occasional signs of struggle and readjustment, they managed to last a full hour in the challenge.
"You've reached an hour into this challenge! Incredible work!" Alexa congratulated.
Looking around, Dante noticed that Sniper was starting to struggle greatly, which caused Kiryu to readjust in an attempt to aid him. Knowing that there wasn't much time left before the challenge would reach its end, he looked at Nero and leaned forward slightly.
"Psst... Nero," he whispered. "Remember what we talked about yesterday?"
Nero nodded slowly. "Yeah... throwing the challenge."
"Well, if we drop out now, then I doubt anyone's gonna get suspicious of us back at camp."
"You're right."
"So... you up for the plan?" He asked. "Because it's not gonna work unless you're in on it. If you wanna be boring and win this challenge, then now's the time to let me know."
After a slight pause, Nero gave his approval. "Let's do it."
"Alright... well... get your acting skills ready," he muttered.
Slowly and covertly, Dante slowly lifted his leg back from the block. Nero didn't intervene, causing the block to eventually slip out of their grasp and fall onto the snow below.
With the Elbrass tribe mortified at the sudden loss, Alexa was quick to announce the result of the challenge. "AND OUT OF NOWHERE, DANTE AND NERO LOSE FOCUS AND DROP THEIR BLOCK! DENALO AND MANJARI WIN IMMUNITY!"
"DAMN IT!" Nero bellowed, his deceptive dismay fooling his tribe.
After many celebrations were shared among the Denalo and Manjari tribes, Alexa rounded the tribes back up and congratulated the winners.
"Well done, Denalo and Manjari. Both of you will be returning to camp with immunity, meaning that none of you will be leaving Survivor Crossover: Ice Cap Zone tonight. But sadly, the same can't be said for Elbrass, who lost the most stoic pair in the challenge after an hour. You guys will head to Tribal Council later tonight, where one of you will become the sixth person to be eliminated from the show. You may all head back to tribe..."
With the help of Nero and Dante's decision to secretly throw the challenge, Denalo had finally been spared from Tribal Council, joining Manjari in a night of immunity...
Elbrass Mk. II: Day 12
Survivors: Dante - Miles Edgeworth - Waluigi - Tracer - Nero - Rodin.
With the tribe still struggling to swallow the bitter pill that was their tragic, sudden loss, Dante and Nero had plenty of work to be done if they wanted to pull off their plan.
As they approached the camp, Nero's acting continued.
"That damn block just slipped right out," Nero said, his eyes full of rage. "I didn't take any pressure off it. This is bullshit!"
Dante shrugged. "I felt nothing either. Guess we got too cocky."
With an angry, hopeless sigh, Nero began storming off. "If anyone wants to talk to me, I'll be in the cave."
As soon as he turned around to leave, a devious grin formed on Waluigi's face.
"The second that cheating cheater stole my-a well-deserved idol, he was-a my number one target! At first, I was worried when he showed up in this tribe after being tossed out by-a his old tribe, but now I'll be able to-a get him out myself! All I need to do is convince everyone to get him out, and I'm sure that everyone is going to-a listen and agree with-a me!" - Waluigi.
Following that, the rest of the tribe quickly settled back into camp. Edgeworth and Dante managed to wrangle Waluigi with them, pulling him to a corner of camp as soon as they could.
"This is going to be an easy vote," said Edgeworth. "Nero has an idol, and he has no alliance. Getting him out before tribes are shuffled again is our safest bet."
"Wahahaha!" He cackled. "Count me in!"
With Waluigi enjoying the plan far more than he should, Dante knew that Edgeworth was likely not open to changing his mind over Nero. An easy ally such as Waluigi would only have his loyalty solidified by this vote, and that wasn't guaranteed for Nero.
"This is gonna be tough. My only saving grace before Nero has to play his idol is to convince Rodin and Tracer to vote with us to get four votes on Waluigi. Sure, Nero using his idol will still pull off the plan, but having an ally with an idol is a pretty big advantage." - Dante.
Pleased by Waluigi's willingness to vote with him and Dante, Edgeworth nodded. "Right. Oh, and if Nero asks who we're voting for: say Tracer.
The purple villain beamed, obeying his advice as Edgeworth turned around and made his way to the other side of the tribe with Dante, greeting Tracer and Rodin.
"Hey," said Tracer. "What happened back at the challenge, Dante?"
He smirked. "Same as what Nero said. It just slipped. Never get too comfy, I guess!"
With an understanding nod, she gave an annoyed sigh as she tilted her head up. "I'm not a fan of this part of the game."
"Going around lying to people or trying to work with people that could easily backstab you is the worst. I'm more of a challenge girl, so I'll probably just go along with whatever plan Edgeworth has in mind. I don't trust him much, but ever since Nero showed up, I don't think me or Rodin are on his hit list right now." - Tracer.
With the comments about the challenge aside, Edgeworth explained his plan. "Feel free to disagree, but as far as I'm concerned, Nero is someone none of us would ever want to stay, at least with that idol of his."
"You got a good point, and I was thinkin' somethin' similar," said Rodin. "But if Waluigi went home, I wouldn't exactly be upset either."
Though Tracer was planning on going with the majority vote, that didn't stop her from voicing concerns. "What if he plays that idol of his? Wouldn't that leave all of us vulnerable?"
"I imagine he'd get Waluigi out anyway," said Rodin. "But the last thing I wanna do is take that risk."
With Dante secretly reveling in the skepticism, Edgeworth was always one step ahead, and proved so with a middle-ground solution.
"In the case of saving our skins, I suggest we split the vote," he suggested. "Two of us will vote for Waluigi; two of us will vote for Nero, and they will likely vote for each other. If Nero plays his idol, then chances are the votes on Waluigi should hopefully be enough to send him home. If Nero doesn't, then it will tie, and then we can put all of the votes on Nero."
Tracer nodded. "I've never heard of splitting the votes like that... but that sounds pretty foolproof to me!"
As soon as the opportunity arose, Dante reached for it with both hands. "Well then, in that case, Edgey and I will vote Nero, and you two will vote Waluigi. Sound good?"
"Sounds good to me," agreed Rodin.
"Yep!" Said Tracer.
Though Dante felt he had struck gold, the realization soon hit him. Having unforeseen the situation where he would have to go against the majority of the tribe in order to eliminate Waluigi, he was presented with a dilemma.
"Things are... complicated. Either I can tell Nero not to play his idol, switch to Waluigi, and get him out without losing the idol all while making Edgeworth, Rodin, and Tracer trust me less... or, I can tell him to play his idol, vote with the others, and get Waluigi out. The idol will be gone, but I won't break any bonds I've made with the people in this tribe. Whichever option I choose is definitely gonna have an effect on how far I get out here, so I'm gonna have to think pretty damn carefully about this." - Dante.
With the group dispersing, Dante sought out Nero, venturing into the cave to tell him about the plan the tribe had formed.
"What's up?" Said Nero, sitting up as Dante approached him.
"A lot," he said. "Waluigi's voting you, and the rest of the tribe want you out as well."
"Great..."
"But luckily for you my friend, there's always a silver lining," he assured. "They're planning to split the vote on you and Waluigi because of your idol. Me and Edgeworth will vote for you, and Rodin and Tracer will vote for Waluigi. That would be a three-three split."
Nero squinted his eyes with confusion. "What's the point in that?"
"Genius handcrafted by Edgeworth," he said. "Either you play the idol, and the votes on Waluigi are enough to send him home over anyone else, or you don't, it ties, and you get voted off in the revote. As far as I'm aware, idols can't be played in revotes."
He folded his arms, impressed. "Pretty clever. So all you have to do is switch your vote to Waluigi, and he'll go home?"
"Bingo. No idols needed."
Nero patted his pocket, gesturing to his idol. "I never thought I'd keep holding onto this damn thing, but as much as it's screwed me over, I'd prefer to hang on to it for a little longer. I don't want to be grouped with new people without anything to defend myself with..."
"Last time I felt confident that I wasn't going to get voted out, I got voted out. I'm starting to trust Dante a little more, but a part of me is saying that he could easily keep that vote on Waluigi. After all, going against their plan would definitely make him a target to them. Something's not adding up, and that's making me consider playing my idol." - Nero.
Dante winked. "Well, I'll cut this bit of good news short and leave you to "sulk" in this cave," he joked. "But if anything goes south, I'll give you a whisper at Tribal Council so you can play that idol."
A few steps into his departure, he abruptly stopped and turned back. "Oh, and one more thing... you'll probably get a couple of visitors more or less telling you to vote for Waluigi."
"Noted."
Throughout the final moments in camp, before the tribe was to head down to Tribal Council, Dante's hypothesis soon came true. Edgeworth and Rodin entered the cave at different points, both of them finding out from Nero that he was one-hundred percent voting for Waluigi. As for Waluigi himself, he roamed from person to person, and each time they told him that they were voting for Nero. But little did he know, this wasn't the full story, and he was about to be involved in a split vote.
"In order to pull off this split vote and eliminate Nero, we'll need to fully convince him that we're voting for Waluigi at Tribal Council. If he has the slightest inkling that me, Dante, Rodin, or Edgeworth are gunning for him, then we will then have to hope that the only person who suffers the consequences from that is Waluigi." - Miles Edgeworth.
Eventually, once night began to fall, the Elbrass tribe left their camp and headed down to the Tribal Fortress. Dante and Nero hoped for an idol-free elimination on Waluigi, while the rest hoped to finally put the nail in Nero's coffin...
Tribal Council: Night 12
Survivors: Dante - Miles Edgeworth - Waluigi - Tracer - Nero - Rodin.
As Dante, Tracer, Nero, and Rodin refamiliarised themselves with the Tribal Fortress, tonight's Tribal Council would be the first for Edgeworth and Waluigi.
Shivering from the extraordinarily frigid temperatures, they swiftly took their seats. To Dante's left was Nero, and to his right was Edgeworth, followed by Waluigi, Tracer, and Rodin.
"Welcome, Elbrass," he greeted. "For most of you, it's been a pretty long while since you last attended a Tribal Council. And, for two of you, this is your first Tribal Council after a dozen days spent in the Ice Cap Zone. Given that you are one of those people, Edgeworth, do you find yourself disadvantaged compared to those who have attended multiple Tribal Councils in the past?"
Edgeworth shook his head immediately. "Not at all. Playing the game, building relationships, and proving to others that you're not a worthy target doesn't just come when we have a Tribal Council to attend. I've been doing that just as much as those who have already been to Tribal Council."
"Yeah! If anything, we're advantaged to the-a losers who've been here before," Waluigi added.
Alexa raised an eyebrow at his terminology. "Well, given that you're now at Tribal Council, I guess that means you've joined the "loser" club yourself."
With a few snickers from his fellow tribemates, Waluigi frowned angrily at the comment.
"But Edgeworth brings up a good point. If you only play the social side of the game when Tribal Council comes in, then you could very well be too late. Nero, you were brought into Elbrass two days later than everyone else. Are you concerned that might affect how people vote tonight?"
"Yeah," he said bluntly. "Whether I leave or stay, I'm definitely getting votes my way. And, it's all thanks to this..."
Nero reached into his pocket and pulled out a small ring. Said ring was none other than the Ring of Reflection. It had the ability to repel each vote cast towards him onto a random person. Though everyone was aware of his idol's existence, none of them knew about what it was capable of.
He slid the ring onto his finger and continued. "I'll probably be playing this tonight. There are people I've spoken to and want to work with, but I'm not going home with this in my pocket."
The others, Dante included, couldn't figure out if he was bluffing or not.
"Pssh, you're lying!" Waluigi bellowed.
"Everyone knows I have it, so I might as well use it before it gets me voted off again," Nero said.
His adamance had thrown everyone off. Edgeworth's plan to make him not play the idol seemed feeble, though, there was always a chance that he was bluffing the whole tribe.
Alexa shook his head. "These Tribal Councils keep getting better and better... well then, if Nero does end up playing his idol, does that concern you, Tracer? What if he has the power to get you off?"
"I doubt he'd gun for me, but that doesn't stop me from getting nervous about it," admitted Tracer. "You'd be stupid to not be nervous, in all honesty."
Amidst the tension, Dante leaned over to Nero. "Are you actually gonna play it?"
"Idols suck," he whispered vaguely.
Meanwhile, Alexa looked to Edgeworth. "So Edgeworth, in spite of this recent announcement, what are you basing your vote on tonight?"
"A clean vote that'll leave no stones unturned," he said. "That's something everyone needs if they want to make it to the later stages in the game."
He nodded, before turning back to Nero. "What about you, Nero? If you're confident that you have a lot of enemies tonight, then how do you decide on which one needs their torch snuffed the most?"
"The one directly responsible for turning everyone against me."
Waluigi felt a shiver down his spine. He needed to save himself, and fast.
With no time to lose, he turned to his left and whispered into Edgeworth's ear. "Change your vote to Tracer and tell Dante to do the same! If-a you don't, I'll go home!"
Moments later, Dante turned to Edgeworth and also whispered close to his ear. "Change your vote to Waluigi! Nero's going to play his idol."
"And if he's bluffing?"
"Just trust me on this one."
Edgeworth was now far more distraught than he could have imagined. His plan was to vote for Nero, but Waluigi begged for him to vote for Tracer while Dante suggested he changed his vote to Waluigi.
"A whole lot of whispering going on at the right side," commented Alexa. "And you nor Tracer are in on it, Rodin."
"Nero's idol is leavin' plenty of people paranoid. I dunno what's gonna happen because of this vote, but I'm stickin' with the plan," he said firmly.
The host nodded. "Right. Well, before we vote, I think we need some words of guidance. What should the tribe remember before we go up to vote, Dante?"
"We all want a clean elimination, and even though ol' Nero pulled out an idol and might use it, I think we're still gonna end up with one."
"Optimistic!" Alexa complimented. "Anyway... I think it's time to vote. Dante, you're the first one up."
Grabbing the voting box, he walked over to the far left corner of the room to cast his vote:
Dante: Nero... you've made things a lot more complicated than they would have been. Here's hoping the plan still works out. (Waluigi)
"Edgeworth, you're up."
Edgeworth votes, but doesn't leave a comment.
"Waluigi, you're up."
Waluigi: I wanted to-a get Nero out, but now that you losers all sucked at making him feel cozy enough to-a not play the idol, it only makes sense it should come back on one of you! Not me! (Tracer)
"Tracer, you're up."
Tracer votes, but doesn't leave a comment.
"Nero, you're up."
Nero: You've tried to steal the idol I found the clue to, then you told our tribe that I had it, then you told everyone else that I had it, and had me blindsided. There's no way I'm letting that happen again, so enjoy... loser. (Waluigi)
"Rodin, you're up."
Rodin votes, but doesn't leave a comment.
Taking the voting box back from Rodin, Alexa placed it in front of him on his desk and stared at the Elbrass tribe. "If anyone here has an idol, and they would like to play it, then now's the time to do so."
After a few seconds of consideration...
"Guess what," said Nero, standing up. "If I bluffed, then that would only keep me in the firing line for longer."
He pulled the ring from his finger and approached Alexa, but before they could make the exchange.
"Nero, don't!" Shouted Dante. "You're not in danger. Keep that idol for when you are."
"Well... I thought I wasn't in danger back with my old tribe," Nero argued.
Though Edgeworth had initially seen Nero as a threat because of his idol, he saw this moment as a good opportunity for him.
"Waluigi told me to vote for Tracer," he revealed. "Your name won't even come up from him, let alone from me or anyone else."
"W-WAAAH?!" Yelled Waluigi. "YOU... BACKSTABBING CHEATER!"
Witnessing the purple villain's outburst, Nero stared at his idol and began reconsidering. "Damn it. If this gets me eliminated Dante, then you aren't gonna hear the end of it."
He slipped the ring back into his pocket and returned to his seat, surprising Alexa.
"Very well then," he said. "Without further ado, I'll read out the votes!"
*VOTING TIME*
The first vote goes to... Tracer. (Tracer turns to Waluigi with shock.)
The second vote goes to... Waluigi. One vote Waluigi, one vote Tracer. (Horror swiftly forms on Waluigi's face.)
The third vote goes to... Waluigi. Two votes Waluigi, one vote Tracer.
The fourth vote goes to... Waluigi. Three votes Waluigi, one vote Tracer.
"The sixth person eliminated from Survivor Crossover: Ice Cap Zone is... Waluigi. That's enough; the tribe has spoken."
With a face painted with despair, he stood up and made his way towards the exit. Alexa grabbed an ice cube and placed it onto his torch.
"Fire represents your life, as most of you may know," said Alexa, watching Waluigi's torch fizzle out. "After twelve days, your time here is over."
Waluigi turned to the five remaining players and clenched his fists with fury. "You're a bunch of dumb cheaters! None of you will win!"
He turned around and walked out without saying another word, leaving Alexa to address the Elbrass tribe.
"What a handful! Yet, despite such an incredibly intense Tribal Council that had many of you scrambling, the votes were unanimous. Now, with the Shuffling tomorrow, you'll find out if eliminating the hot-headed Waluigi really was a clean move... or the messiest mistake you'll ever make. See you tomorrow, survivors!"
They stood up and quickly left. Dante and Nero secretly celebrated their plan working, even if it was achieved in a far more convoluted way than they could have possibly imagined...
Waluigi's Last Words: "Those idiots voted me off! Once again, I lost because of all the cheaters, losers, and backstabbing snakes that were on-a my tribe. Only this time, it's even-a worse! I don't want a single person there to-a win, because if not for the game being so rigged, it would have been ME! Stupid game!"
VOTES
Waluigi (5): Dante - Edgeworth - Tracer - Nero - Rodin.
Tracer (1): Waluigi.
IDOLS
Ring of Reflection: Found in Ring of Igloos by Nero. Upon activating this ring in Tribal Council, every vote cast towards that person will be reflected onto a random contestant with no immunity.
Ring of Abduction: Found in the Survivors' Shack by Daisy. Upon activating this ring at Tribal Council, the user may steal a vote from anyone of their choice, additionally being able to use it as their second vote. The target must be able to vote for the effect to work, and those with immunity can still be targeted to have their vote stolen.
Ring of Ambiguity: Found in the Ice Cap Zone Forest by Sniper. Upon activating this ring at Tribal Council before a vote, the user will be able to select two people - including themselves - to leave Tribal Council immediately. They will not be able to vote or be voted for, making them immune from elimination at that Tribal Council.
