Ice Cap Zone (South of Lake): Day 16

Survivors: Dante - Scout - Knuckles - Kazuma Kiryu - Tails - Princess Daisy - Tracer - Rodin - Miles Edgeworth - Goro Majima - Nero - Sniper - Joseph Joestar - Wii Fit Trainer.

Entering from the West, Acogua marched over to the challenge area. Beside Alexa was a large wooden structure. At the top of the structure was a waterslide that led into a sand pit with a circle placed on both back corners. The circle on the left was red, likely representing Acogua, and the circle on the right was yellow, representing Punjay.

It appeared to be a race of some kind, but while the survivors were speculating what the challenge could be, Punjay entered the area from the East.

"Who's gone?" Asked Daisy, unable to get a clear view.

After a few seconds, Dante gave her an answer. "I don't see Krabs."

"Yep, Krabs is gone," said Scout. "About frickin' time!"

The tribe of six parked next to their opponents, facing Alexa, who held the snuffed torch of Krabs.

"So," he said. "Majima... you don't look too surprised."

"The guy dropped the ball about ten times over in that last challenge. For him to have survived last night, it would've taken a miracle!" He explained.

Alexa nodded. "Well now that he's gone, are you looking to score your first win with your tribe today, Sniper?"

"You bet, mate," he stated.

"Well, let's put that confidence to the test," Alexa gestured to the structure behind him. "Allow me to explain today's challenge!"

*Today's challenge will take place over several rounds. On my mark, one member from each tribe will race down a slide and into a pit of sand. In the middle of this pit is a brown bag. Whoever can fend off their opponent and be the first one to bring this bag over to their tribe's circle at the back of the sand pit will score a point.

The first tribe to score five points will win immunity. You can take part in multiple rounds, but you cannot compete back-to-back.*

Alexa then pointed to the Acogua tribe. "Acogua. You guys have two more players than Punjay, meaning you will have to choose two to sit out. You cannot choose the same person in back-to-back challenges."

After a brief pause, both Daisy and Tails volunteered to sit out of the challenge.

"Alright. Daisy and Tails are sitting out!" He announced. "Let's get started!"

Immediately, the two tribes huddled together and discussed who to elect for the first round. After a few seconds, they selected their first candidates, with Acogua having the privilege of choosing first.

ROUND ONE: Kazuma Kiryu (Acogua) VS Joseph Joestar (Punjay)

Kiryu and Joseph both climbed up the structure via a ladder. When they made it to the top, they stood by the edge of the structure, adjacent to the waterslide. As they got into starting positions, Alexa swiftly began the countdown.

"On my mark..." He paused. "Three... two... ONE! GO!"

The two sprung from their places and began skidding down the slide on their front. Joseph was able to travel quicker and steadier than Kiryu, allowing him to get ahead.

As Joseph reached the bottom, he scrambled to his feet and headed to the middle of the sandpit to retrieve the bag. However, right as he snatched the bag, Kiryu charged into him and knocked him off balance.

Both of them had firm hands on the bag, though with Joseph lying on his back, he was at a significant disadvantage against the up-right Kiryu.

After several tugs, Kiryu was able to wrap his arms fully around the bag, making it harder for Joseph to grip the bag. Furthermore, he was able to begin dragging Joseph along the sandpit and over to Acogua's circle.

"Incredible feat from Kiryu!" Alexa commentated. "He's managing to drag Joseph over to his circle!"

As he drew precariously close to the circle, Joseph began resisting, able to pull Kiryu back by a few centimetres.

"Damn... you're strong..." Said Joseph between grunts.

"Thanks," Kiryu replied, finally yanking the bag from his grip.

In a last ditch effort, he grabbed his legs and yanked Kiryu off balance, causing him to fall forward. However, he just had enough reach to place the bag within the circle, scoring him and his tribe the first point of the challenge.

"KIRYU WINS THE FIRST ROUND FOR ACOGUA!" Alexa bellowed, very entertained by the ex-Yakuza's strength.

Out of good sportsmanship, Kiryu got to his feet and held a hand out for Joseph, which he accepted.

Given that Joseph was a former tribe mate that Kiryu could respect and trust, he decided to discretely ask for some information regarding his tribe.

"How are things at your tribe?" He asked.

"Not amazing..." Joseph replied. "Things are pretty split at the moment."

Kiryu nodded. "I see."

Their conversation was mostly drowned out by the cheering from Acogua, mainly led by the overly-ecstatic Majima.

"Alright! Next round!" Exclaimed Alexa.

ROUND TWO: Dante (Acogua) VS Tracer (Punjay)

The two climbed up to the top of the wooden structure and placed themselves by the giant waterslide. While Dante readily positioned himself, Tracer leaned over and whispered to him.

"Do you have it?"

He peered over with a confused look, not understanding what she was getting at. "Huh? Have what?"

Judging by his reaction, Tracer knew that he didn't have the Ring of Punjay she was looking for. "Don't worry about it."

"...Alright then."

Still attempting to wrap his head around her question, Dante immediately jolted back into position when Alexa began the countdown.

"Three... two... ONE! GO!"

The two jumped in unison onto the waterslide. Tracer was fractionally faster while moving down, yet it was hardly enough to make a difference.

What would make a difference in this race, however, was her ability to teleport forward. Having only shown it off twice, she was excited to use it again.

Reaching the sandpit, Dante got to his feet. Before he made the sprint to the bag, he caught Tracer jolting forward by a couple of metres towards the bag. One second she was right next to him, and then the next she was much closer to the bag. To make matters worse, she jolted forward again, and before Dante knew it, the bag was already in her hands.

From the crowd, Scout pointed to her with anger. "LOOK! She's doin' that teleportin' wizard crap again!"

Though Dante was dashing as fast as he could, he had nowhere near enough time to catch up to Tracer before she could deposit the bag in her tribe's circle.

"And just like that, PUNJAY SCORES THEIR FIRST POINT!" Yelled Alexa. "Both tribes are tied at one point!"

ROUND THREE: Scout (Acogua) VS Rodin (Punjay)

As Scout and Rodin walked over, the tribe found it impossible to ignore the massively contrasting size difference between the two. Scout's scrawny build and average height had no chance physically against Rodin, who was not only a few feet taller but was also built like a tank. Even with plenty of pride, Scout himself found it hard to imagine himself winning the wrestle for the bag against his opponent.

Now by the slide, Rodin locked his eyes onto the bag in the sandpit ahead, determined to get to it first before his swift opponent could. While he had his eyes on the bag, Scout was unable to keep his eyes off of the giant. Aware of his fear, he decided to give himself a pep talk.

"Alright Scout, you got this. He may be three times your size, but he's still goin' down! He ain't gonna stand a chance!" He muttered to himself.

Eventually, Alexa began the countdown.

"Three... two... ONE! GO!"

Scout dived down the slide as Rodin followed. Though Scout had himself an initial lead, Rodin's weight allowed him to slide down far quicker, eventually catching up and surpassing him.

Rodin launched off of the slide and into the sand, immediately getting to his feet before stomping over to the nearby bag. Not long after, Scout came crashing down, tumbling into the sand before springing up and giving chase.

Reaching the bag, the giant scooped it up with his hands and attempted to run over to his tribe's circle. However, Scout was determined to overcome Rodin. He was his Goliath, and Scout was willing to do anything to get that bag off of him.

As he caught up, he sprung into the air and locked his arms around Rodin's neck. "That bag ain't yours, pal!"

He was able to slightly slow Rodin down, and he managed to reach for Rodin's bag and grab it.

"Scout's putting up a massive fight against Rodin!" Alexa remarked. "But it doesn't seem to be doing enough!"

Alexa appeared to be right. Though Scout had a grip on the bag, Rodin's grip was far too strong. In addition, he was able to move forward towards the circle, even with Scout on his back.

A few seconds of yanking passed, but eventually, Rodin had himself, the bag, and Scout all on the Punjay circle, winning another point for his tribe.

"PUNJAY SCORES THEIR SECOND POINT! Punjay leads, two-to-one!"

Scout jumped down from Rodin's back bitterly. "Unbelievable. What the hell was I supposed to do?!"

Rodin gave a smirk as Scout angrily walked back to his tribe.

ROUND FOUR: Goro Majima (Acogua) VS Sniper (Punjay)

"Hey," Majima muttered, placing a hand on Sniper's shoulder.

"Huh?"

"Let's make a bet. If you can catch me before I score, then I'll give ya the bag without any hassle. Sound good?"

This wasn't the first risky bet Majima had made, but even so, Sniper was keen to catch him out on his cockiness. "Alright, mate. I'll go for it."

"Aight!" He said, wringing his hands.

Soon enough, the countdown began.

"Three... two... ONE! GO!"

In an instant, Majima leaped onto the waterslide. While Sniper followed by sliding down on his front, the Aussie was shocked to see Majima sliding down on his two feet.

The Yakuza surfed down the slide with haste, making it to the bottom before jumping from the slide and onto the sandpit. While Sniper was still on the slide, he began running over to the bag.

As Sniper reached the bottom and scrambled back onto his feet, Majima had the bag and was seconds away from the circle. He attempted to give chase, but knew it was futile.

Majima planted the bag on his tribe's circle, scoring for his tribe.

"ACOGUA SCORES THEIR SECOND POINT! Punjay and Acogua are tied once again at two points each!"

"That's how ya win with speed!" He mocked Punjay. "No teleportin' required!"

"Bugger..." Said Sniper, strolling back to his tribe.

ROUND FIVE: Nero (Acogua) VS Wii Fit Trainer (Punjay)

Plenty of time had passed since Nero had been voted out of his tribe, but regardless, his grudge ran deep with everyone involved in his near-elimination. That included his opponent in this round: Wii Fit Trainer.

Wii Fit was completely oblivious to his desire to settle the score, however. "Good luck!" She said, smiling innocently.

The two stared down the slide as Alexa began the countdown.

"Three... two... ONE! GO!"

Both leaped from the edge and landed on the slide. Nero was heavier, yet Wii Fit was more stable, and this had them both neck-and-neck for the majority of the slide down.

Eventually, they crashed into the sandpit and got to their feet before sprinting to the bag. Nero managed to get there first, allowing him to retrieve the bag, but Wii Fit smashed into him, knocking him to the ground. Albeit, this also caused her to lose her balance as well.

She tried to wrestle the bag off of him, but his grip proved to be exceptional. Wii Fit then tried grabbing ahold of his arm, getting back to her feet, and dragging Nero.

After a long, tedious minute of dragging Nero, her progress quickly proved to be in vain as the devil hunter managed to stand back up and pull Wii Fit in the opposite direction, towards the Acogua circle.

Both tribes were cheering for their respective team member as they continued to tug each other in their direction for about half a minute. But eventually, Nero won the fight and managed to push Wii Fit to the floor before breaking out of her grip with the bag still in hand.

Just as Wii Fit got back up to her feet, Nero made it to the circle.

"ACOGUA SCORES YET AGAIN!" Said Alexa. "Acogua leads, three-to-two!"

"Good job..." Remarked Wii Fit with exhaustion.

ROUND SIX: Goro Majima (Acogua) VS Rodin (Punjay)

Given their excellent performances in his last round, Majima and Rodin were elected by their tribes for the second time.

Though Majima's speed and athleticism were unmatched by most of Punjay, Rodin's size and overwhelming strength would spell victory if he managed to retrieve the bag before Majima could.

Standing side by side, Majima was very impressed with Rodin's height. So much so that he stood next to him and compared his own height to the behemoth of a man.

"Damn! What did they feed ya for you to be nearly double my height?!" He asked, a grin on his face.

Rodin gave a smirk before focusing back on the challenge.

Alexa then spoke up. "Both of these contenders have won a previous round in this challenge. This should be interesting!"

He swiftly began the countdown as Majima returned to his starting position.

"Three... two... ONE! GO!"

Majima once again jumped onto the slide, choosing to glide down graciously on his two feet. Meanwhile, Rodin slid down on his front, once again picking up an incredible amount of momentum that put him ahead of his opponent from the get-go.

Rodin eventually crashed into the sand, and upon getting to his feet, Majima landed next to him. The two were equal as they sprinted for the bag, though as they came closer, Majima began to pull ahead.

Soon to collide with Rodin into the bag, Majima lunged forward in a last-ditch effort to collect the bag before Rodin could catch him. Right after the lunge, he proceeded to do a swift cartwheel. This maneuver allowed him to grab the bag and maintain his speed, and though Rodin reached out in an attempt to grab his arm, he just came up short.

Majima made a dash for his tribe's circle. He could hear the thunderous thuds of Rodin's steps from behind, motivating him to keep up the pace.

As he came to the circle, Majima jumped forward and extended his arms, landing with the bag just within the line.

"ACOGUA SCORES!" He announced. "They further increase their lead! Four-to-two!"

Rodin nodded. "Damn. Didn't know you could move that fast."

Meanwhile, Majima was too busy cheering over his second scored point to reply, as were the rest of his tribe.

ROUND SEVEN: Scout (Acogua) VS Sniper (Punjay)

Though Acogua was at a match point, Scout was very adamant about being the one to have the honour of scoring the final point for his tribe. When he volunteered, Punjay countered by volunteering Sniper, who was equally as eager to take on his rival. Though they could have used Tracer as a safer option, they wanted to save her for a tougher opponent.

"Let's frickin' do this, Sniper!" Scout bellowed, taunting as he walked over to the structure. "This is gonna be my win!"

Sniper ignored his premature gloating and climbed up to the top. He planted himself by the top of the slide, and Scout did the same, albeit with a far more cocky attitude.

"Surprised you threw yourself out there, Mundy," he chuckled. "Dunno if your tribe's gonna be happy if you screw this final chance up, pal! Besides, we both know that I beat you in speed, muscle, and wits."

Though he mostly disagreed, Scout was right about one thing, and that was his speed advantage. Sniper was by no means a pushover in agility, but in raw speed, Scout had him outclassed. He knew this from the start, however, and had a plan.

Alexa got around to starting the round, albeit with a warning of Punjay's position in the challenge. "Remember, if Acogua wins this, then Punjay is gonna be going straight back to Tribal Council! Let's see if they have what it takes to score three wins in a row."

He then started the countdown. "Three... two... ONE! GO!"

The two of them dove off the slide in sync, though while Scout had his eyes fixed on the bag ahead, Sniper aimed for his mercenary rival.

As they slid down the slide, Sniper grabbed onto Scout's arm and yanked, beginning the wrestle far earlier than anticipated.

"What the crap? Get off me!" He cried, attempting to push Sniper off of him.

"Interesting approach from Sniper! Deal with the enemy first, then the bag after!" Yelled Alexa. "But will those dirty tactics pay off?"

Coming to the sandpit, Scout helplessly crashed into the sand as his arm continued to be in the firm grip of Sniper. While he was knocked off balance, Sniper was able to get to his feet and make his way to the bag, but Scout had him by the cuff of his pants. With some extra effort, Scout was able to wrap his arms around Sniper's left leg, further hindering him from moving further.

Every other step nearly knocked him off balance, and after making a third of the way to the bag, he eventually tripped as Scout went to get to his feet.

As he went to step over him to run past, Sniper reached out and grabbed onto his right leg, tripping Scout over and landing him on the floor yet again.

The fight then went into a temporary stalemate as they wrestled one another. Both tribes began cheering for their respective teammate as they continued to fight.

Eventually, Scout broke out of Sniper's grasp and crawled away. Shortly after, he was back on his feet and looking back at Sniper as he scooped up the bag from the ground.

He ran towards the circle, and with Sniper likely unable to catch up, it looked as if Acogua would be taking home tribe immunity once more.

Before making it to the circle, Scout was overwhelmed with a sense of pride and accomplishment, reveling in the respect that his tribe would soon give him.

However, in the midst of his fantasizing, his tribe mates called to him from afar.

"WRONG CIRCLE!" Majima cried. "TURN BACK YA DUNCE!"

After a brief moment of confusion, the realisation kicked in. Scout was only a few metres away from Punjay's circle on the right side of the pit.

"Aw, crap..." He muttered, turning around to see Sniper giving him a mocking grin.

Sniper placed his hand over his mouth as he chuckled at Scout's idiocy. "Nice shot, mate."

"Well... even with a detour to your dumb circle, I'm still gonna win!" Scout bellowed.

Seemingly cornered, he side-stepped to the left with the intention to run around his foe, hoping that he'd be able to sprint to the correct circle unscathed.

However, Sniper seemingly read the move, countering with a side-step to the right and causing Scout to jump back.

The marksman drew closer by a few steps as Scout attempted another attempt to run off, but Sniper once again caught him off guard by reading his move.

This repeated twice more until Sniper was in range. As Scout attempted to make a break for it, Sniper shot forward and latched onto him, pulling him to the ground. With the mercenary winded and dazed, Sniper snatched the bag from his clutches and crawled a short distance to his circle. Before Scout could follow, the bag was firmly planted in the Punjay circle.

"PUNJAY SCORES!" Alexa announced. "After an embarrassing mistake from Scout, Punjay is still in the challenge! Acogua remain in the lead; four-to-three!"

Scout hissed with anger as Sniper held his hand out for him, beckoning him to get back onto his feet. "You definitely had the skill, just not the brains, mate."

He slapped his opponent's hand away as he got to his feet and dusted himself off. "I had that! Why does it frickin' matter which circle I put the bag in?!" He complained.

ROUND EIGHT: Knuckles (Acogua) VS Tracer (Punjay)

After a very lucky win from Punjay, they knew that they had to use their best players if they wanted to win tribe immunity. The seemingly speediest player on the tribe was Tracer, meaning she would be a safe pick for Punjay to score their next point in the challenge. However, Knuckles was Acogua's ace card in the challenge. He was strong and fast, yet it was unknown if his speed could match Tracer's ability to teleport a short distance forward.

"An interesting matchup," admitted Alexa, watching as they both climbed to the top of the structure.

Coming to the top of the slide, Tracer leaned over to Knuckles and repeated the same mysterious phrase she had said to Dante earlier:

"Do you have it?"

"...I dunno what you're talking about," Knuckles shrugged. "If you're asking if I have what it takes to beat you, then just watch and learn!"

And just like before, she quickly retracted her statement. "Nevermind, it's nothing."

He glanced back at her with confusion, but quickly got back into the intensity of the challenge as Alexa began the countdown.

"Once again, this is match point for Acogua!" He reminded. "Three... two... ONE! GO!"

As Tracer dove down the slide, Knuckles took an unorthodox approach of jumping onto the slide while curling into a compact ball. This allowed him to gain incredible speed as he rolled down the slide, swiftly overtaking Tracer.

His momentum continued to the sandpit, where he continued to dash towards the bag. Though he was at a lead so great that Tracer was left helpless even with her ability to teleport, the high speeds prevented the echidna from slowing down. As a result, he rolled straight past the bag, eventually managing to stop before getting back to his feet.

By the time Tracer got to the bottom of the slide, she and Knuckles were at the same distance from the bag. Knuckles was several metres behind the bag, while Tracer was several metres in front of the bag.

In sync, Knuckles began sprinting towards the bag as Tracer began zipping closer and closer, teleporting forward multiple times.

Their speeds were both impressive, and as they both crashed into the bag, the speed Knuckles had picked up from his sprint caused a massive dust cloud to envelop the middle of the sandpit.

For a few seconds, neither tribe knew whether Knuckles or Tracer had nabbed the bag, as both of them had been swiftly engulfed by the cloud. It was a tense moment. Punjay collectively hoped that Tracer managed to grab the bag before Knuckles could, as any other possibility would inevitably lead to Tribal Council.

As the cloud eventually began to settle, Acogua were pleased to see that it was Knuckles who came sprinting out, bag in hand. Tracer was close behind, but it was futile.

Reaching the Acogua circle, Knuckles firmly placed down the bag, confirming his tribe's victory.

"AND THAT DOES IT!" Bellowed Alexa. "ACOGUA WINS IMMUNITY! SENDING PUNJAY BACK TO TRIBAL COUNCIL!"

The tribe immediately rejoiced, hugging and cheering. Punjay meanwhile were dead silent, unhappy about having to experience a second bout at Tribal Council. Knuckles threw his arms into the air and cheered with his tribe, leaving Tracer to bitterly fold her arms behind him.

Both tribes fully regrouped before turning to Alexa.

"Congratulations on your second win in a row, Acogua!" He applauded. "Punjay sure put up more of a fight this time around, but you managed to take home another precious night of immunity!"

Acogua began cheering once again, making the loss for Punjay even more grueling.

Alexa then turned to Punjay. "As for you guys, you'll be coming to Tribal Council yet again." He placed his hands firmly on his hips as he continued. "Tonight, your tribe of six will become a tribe of five, as one of you will become the eighth person to be eliminated from Survivor Crossover: Ice Cap Zone!"

In contrast to the excited cheers of Acogua, Punjay responded to the news with nothing more than a bout of silence.

"Wow. I've never seen a tribe more bummed out over a loss," he admitted awkwardly. "Well, if tonight's Tribal Council is gonna be extra tough, then you better get to work on keeping yourself safe from the vote!"

Soon after the talk, both tribes split off from the challenge and returned to their camps.

Punjay: Day 16

Survivors: Miles Edgeworth - Tracer - Rodin - Wii Fit Trainer - Sniper - Joseph Joestar.

After putting in plenty of effort to ensure a night without Tribal Council, Punjay had once again come up short. They were simply outmatched once again, and though they had impeccable speed and brawn on their side, Acogua were no pushovers either. Despite this defeat, most of the tribe wasted no time moping, and they at first formed into two halves: Edgeworth, Sniper, and Joseph on one side; Rodin, Wii Fit, and Tracer on another.

"I assume we're going to be sticking as a three for tonight's vote?" Edgeworth asked. "In that case... it'll be helpful to know who to put our three votes on."

"Tonight's challenge was... tough to watch. Being the physically weakest link, I was naturally not selected by my tribe to take part in the last challenge. Given that Sniper and Joseph admire performance, this makes me nervous. I do have the option to try and flip to the other faction in an attempt to blindside Sniper or Joseph to save myself, but right now, I need to work on loyalty and relationships. I need to stick with these two and make sure they aren't the ones who flip on me." - Miles Edgeworth.

Sniper folded his arms. "Either Tracer or Rodin. They seemed to always be switched on when it comes to strategy. Wii Fit's more social, votin' her would be a bloody waste."

"So, which of the two?" Asked Joseph.

After a slight pause, Edgeworth confidently spoke up. "Rodin."

"What makes you think that?" He replied skeptically.

The prosecutor shrugged. "The Merge is coming up soon. From there, every immunity challenge will be every man for himself, and between Rodin and Tracer, I think Rodin has a slight edge on being able to pull off a winning streak. But either way we vote, we're breaking up a strong power couple, and that will do wonders for us."

Though he understood the logic, Joseph looked visibly dissatisfied. "Hmm... not sure if that's the right plan."

"What do you think we should do then?" Questioned Sniper.

He rubbed his beard. "I think voting Wii Fit is the best option we have. Think about it. We have three votes, and they have three votes. If we tie twice and go to rocks, then the two people who are tied will be exempt from drawing rocks, thus making them safe. Not only is Wii Fit an unexpected option in the event that they have an idol, but voting her will actually keep her immune in the rock draw itself."

Edgeworth wagged his finger with disapproval. "That's a pessimistic plan. Going to rocks is a risk nobody wants to take. A rock draw in a tribe of this size will give us a one-in-four shot of being eliminated by pure luck."

Just hearing the odds of elimination via rock draw was enough to make Joseph very nervous.

"Took the words right out my bloody mouth!" Sniper grinned. "Wii Fit's our swing vote. I've tried workin' on her since last Tribal Council, and all I need to do is give to her a reason to ditch Rodin n' Tracer for the three of us."

"You've definitely been trying to build a relationship with her since the last vote..." Joseph recalled. "You think you could pull it off?"

He nodded. "It's worth a shot."

Though he seemed positive that he could cause Wii Fit to flip on her alliance, Joseph didn't have the same faith. In reality, Joseph wasn't a fan of the alliance he was in at all, still unable to trust Edgeworth.

As a result, he placed a hand on his shoulder. "Mind if I talk with you in private?"

Hesitantly, Sniper agreed. "Alright. Let's go to the cave."

Obviously, Edgeworth was skeptical, but there wasn't much he could do other than hope it wasn't to do with blindsiding him. He watched as the two walked off from him, taking a sharp right into the nearby cave.

With the two of them alone, Joseph laid out the honest truth to Sniper. "I'm voting Edgeworth tonight."

Though he respected the honesty, he was at a loss for words, causing Joseph to continue. "I don't trust him enough to risk going to rocks. He said it himself: a one-in-four shot of being eliminated is a big deal."

Eventually, Sniper had the gall to argue against his choice. "You're forgettin' that their original plan was to have us at the bottom. We were a contingency plan, and you wanna flip back?"

"I don't want to flip back," he said firmly. "But what we're doing is making an unnecessary risk."

"If I get Wii Fit to vote with us, then-"

"Then that'll be useful if we have to go to Tribal Council again. But as far as I'm concerned, Edgeworth leaves tonight."

Sniper saw his decision as stubborn and cowardly. He knew that, although Edgeworth had the potential to turn into a threat, he wasn't as big of an issue compared to Rodin, who was a massive strategical and physical threat.

"What a friggin' piker! Edgeworth can't do much harm to us when we have the bloke wrapped around our fingers. He can be dealt with later; it's not like he's a bloody challenge beast. Joseph just wants to avoid rocks, and as much as I see him as an ally out here, I ain't standin' for shoddy gameplay." - Sniper.

He knew that he needed Joseph for this vote, and thus, continued to argue. "Look. I get that Edgeworth's a snake, but right now, he has no chance of messin' with us. He needs our vote, and to get out Rodin, who'll be massive competition the second Merge hits, we need his. Trust me on this one vote, then we can kick him out next."

Sniper's argument was fair, and though Joseph still didn't want to be aligned with Edgeworth, he couldn't ignore Rodin. More important than that, however, he couldn't afford to ruin his alliance with Sniper for the sake of flipping to a group of people he couldn't trust nearly as much. As a result, he decided to make a bargain.

"Right," he paused. "I'll vote Rodin with you and... Edgeworth. But, if there's a tie in the first vote, then I'm switching my vote to Edgeworth in the second vote."

"...Deal," Sniper agreed, sticking his hand out to beckon a handshake. "And I'll switch my vote too."

Joseph accepted his handshake, and then looked over to the group of Rodin, Tracer, and Wii Fit halfway across the camp. "I assume that you're gonna try and sway Wii Fit the second she splits off from the other two?"

"Hopefully."

"Then I'll do my part and convince them that you and I are voting with them. Then they won't get suspicious and play any idols."

With a nod of approval from Sniper, the two returned from the cave and regrouped with Edgeworth.

By the time both groups had discussed all that there was to discuss, they broke off as Sniper and Joseph had hoped.

Sniper immediately sought out Wii Fit to have the important chat. Meanwhile, Joseph and Tracer approached each other. This left Rodin to approach Edgeworth, just to see what his plans were.

Not expecting to see Rodin approach him, Edgeworth was already on guard. "Hello," he said plainly.

"I think we both know where we stand by now," Rodin smirked. "There're two alliances in a stalemate right now."

Edgeworth smirked back, though his smirk was far smugger. "And with a stalemate comes a rock draw, correct?"

"Not if someone's willin' to break it," he said. "And though your ass was on the line last time, that ain't the case now."

The prosecutor was intrigued, but he had trouble believing what Rodin was saying.

He continued. "We're votin' for Sniper tonight. All three of us, and if you do the same, then that saves the hassle of a rock draw."

"So you want me to flip on the man who saved my game only a couple of days ago?"

"He saved your game because he thought it'd save his. You're a pawn to him."

"And I'll definitely be a pawn if I choose to flip and join your side. You want Sniper out for reasons that don't benefit me." Edgeworth firmly shook his head before glaring at Rodin. "Count me out of that scheme."

"If his plan wasn't so transparent, then I might have entertained it. I'm sticking with my alliance, even if my name's not the one that comes up." - Miles Edgeworth.

Rodin rolled his eyes at Edgeworth's sardonic demeanour. However, he knew how the conversation would turn out, and given other plans he had to break the tie, he wasn't phased.

"Edgeworth refusing to vote for Sniper ain't a surprise. Luckily, votin' Sniper ain't the real plan, which I'm relyin' on Tracer to carry out. All we need is Joseph to vote for Edgeworth, then we'll be able to take him out at four votes. Sniper's clearly stickin' with Edgeworth, but I can tell that Joseph doesn't wanna work with him any longer." - Rodin.

With everything coming down to Tracer, she met with Joseph, hoping to convince him to vote with her and Rodin.

"Heya Joseph," she said. "You a fan of power?"

Joseph tilted his head. "Power?"

"From the looks of things... you control how tonight goes. Not Sniper, not me, not anyone," she explained. "According to Rodin, you told him that you're willing to vote Edgeworth, even if means going against Sniper. Is that true?"

He nodded, starting to piece together what she was getting at. "That's what I said."

"...Well, now's the time!" Tracer proclaimed. "If you vote me or Rodin, then it'll likely go to rocks, and you'll have a chance of going home from pure luck. If you vote Edgeworth with us, then he goes home. If you're willing to vote Edgeworth, then doing so to protect yourself is the only way."

Joseph looked down at the floor. "You're right. There's no need to worry."

Her eyes lit up with relief. "Brilliant!"

"If there's a tie, which there will be, then I'll vote Edgeworth in the revote," he promised. "You have my word."

Though that was next to perfect for Tracer, she was slightly confused. "Why not vote Edgeworth in the first place? It'd save some time."

"Don't worry about that."

With a vague answer, she was left to vocally jump to her own light-hearted conclusion. "Oooh... I bet you wanna add extra tension to the vote! Pretty cheeky of you, if I do say so myself!"

Joseph smiled at the joke but remained silent.

"Tracer thinks that I control the direction this vote goes. Little does she know, it's all in the hands of Wii Fit. But I doubt she'll end up flipping, even if Sniper's made good progress with her these past few days, meaning Edgeworth will end up going home." - Joseph Joestar.

With Edgeworth pledging loyalty to his alliance, and with Joseph's condition made clear, all that was left to happen was for Sniper to do what many thought was impossible: sway Wii Fit onto his side. He wasn't the most social or persuasive, but he thought that he had a case well enough to have Wii Fit forfeit her old alliance.

"Hey," he said, approaching her.

"What's up?" Wii Fit asked.

"It's about tonight's vote." Sniper scratched his neck. "You got two options here, miss. You can either go with Rodin n' Tracer, vote Edgeworth and risk your game in a rock draw, or you can vote with Edgeworth, Joseph, and myself to kick off Rodin."

"The deal Joseph and I made means that a rock draw ain't happenin'. If there's a tie in the first vote, then Joseph and I will change our votes in the revote to boot off Edgeworth. As much as I wanna be honest with Wii Fit, I need to scare her away from voting Edgeworth with the threat of a rock draw. It ain't the nicest thing to do, but there's too much on the bloody line in this game for me to play like a saint." - Sniper.

She folded her arms and grimaced, upset to be the one making the big decision tonight. "...I don't know if voting Rodin is the right move right now."

"If you vote with them and not against them, especially for this vote, you're gonna be shootin' yourself in the foot," he bluntly said. "They're gonna become a known threat almost instantly when they get to the Merge. And if they're public enemy number one, and you're still ridin' on their coattails, you're gonna be a threat by association. No matter what, you're gonna end up flipping sooner or later."

Wii Fit was offended by his choice of words. "Riding on their coattails?! I'm not just an extra vote, you know."

The last thing Sniper wanted to do was anger her, but regardless, he pressed on with his point. "I doubt you've had much say in these last two votes. You've just followed orders that they've made. You may think you're in an equal alliance with them, but it's obvious that they'd put each other before yourself. I'm willing to work with you just as much as I work with Joseph, and that's because you're level-headed. I promise you that."

By this point, Wii Fit's dilemma was down to trust. She trusted Rodin and Tracer, but according to Sniper, she was no more than a third wheel in their alliance. She trusted Sniper, but she had only known him for a few days, meaning that flipping to his alliance would be a massive risk. Either choice she made would heavily affect her future in the game.

Noticing the silence, Sniper decided to finish off his case by sweetening the deal. "I know plenty of people on the Merge that I have good connections with. If you come into the Merge with me n' Joseph, then it ain't gonna be an uphill battle all the way to the end."

"What about Edgeworth?" She asked.

"Once Rodin goes... he's next," he stated. "You can count on that."

Wii Fit didn't expect to be presented with a genuinely good argument, but she was still struggling on whether she could actually trust Sniper's word. Nothing would stop him, Joseph, and Edgeworth from turning on her in the next vote, as they would hold a new majority.

All she could do for Sniper at that moment was acknowledge his argument. "I promise you that I'll think long and hard about it."

Not long after, the two separated to check in with the rest of the tribe.

A few more small conversations happened in the moments leading up to Tribal Council. Rodin and Wii Fit learned from Tracer that Joseph would vote with them on the revote, and Edgeworth and Joseph both learned from Sniper that Wii Fit was currently on the fence. With everything coming down to the actions of one person, tonight would be one of the tensest Tribal Councils thus far.

Eventually, the members of Punjay soon left camp and made their way down the mountain and across the snowy, rolling hills of the Ice Cap Zone.

Tribal Council: Night 16

Survivors: Miles Edgeworth - Tracer - Rodin - Wii Fit Trainer - Sniper - Joseph Joestar.

As they approached the Tribal Fortress, the six survivors swiftly entered and made their way into the main room. Having attended Tribal Council two days earlier, Punjay were very familiar with the layout and atmosphere of the place, yet it didn't feel any less dreary than before.

They swiftly took their seats, meeting eyes with Alexa, who stood behind his desk quietly.

Eventually, he initiated Tribal Council with the same old excitement. "Welcome back to Tribal Council, Punjay! This is your second Tribal Council in a row, and while your rival tribe Acogua has eight members, you'll be leaving tonight with only five. Of course, the fewer survivors there are in a Tribal Council, the more likely it is for you to be the one to receive the boot."

He pointed to Edgeworth and continued. "But we need to address the elephant in the room, which was the idol played last time you guys were here. From what I can tell, Sniper playing this idol saved Edgeworth's hide while simultaneously ending the game of Mr. Krabs. Edgeworth, what has happened to the tribe since that fateful night?"

The prosecutor folded his arms. "A lot. It's no surprise that this tribe has been cut down the middle. On one half, you have Sniper, Joseph, and myself; on the other, you have Rodin, Tracer, and Wii Fit. There's no majority or minority right now."

"...Which means you-know-what might happen, correct?" Alexa raised an eyebrow.

"A rock draw."

"Correct!" He applauded. "If a tie happens twice in a row, then both tied individuals will become safe, and the rest of the tribe will draw rocks. Most of you will draw a black rock, which illustrates safety; but one unlucky individual will draw a white rock, which illustrates instant elimination as if you were voted out. Throughout the last two seasons, rock draws were responsible for eliminating a total sum of three players, and if tonight goes in the direction I think it's heading... one of you may be the fourth victim."

A looming sense of dread filled the air. The majority of the tribe knew full well that a rock draw wasn't likely, but even the slight threat of being eliminated by pure chance was enough to strike fear straight into their hearts.

Moving on, Alexa looked to Wii Fit. "Wii Fit. So, if this vote really is projected to go to rocks, then wouldn't it be smarter to put your votes on someone that you don't see as a big threat? Doing so would make them immune for the rock draw while keeping your actual targets vulnerable. Have any of you considered that idea?"

She shook her head. "It's been considered, but I doubt either side will follow that strategy. Things look to be heading towards a rock draw, but the full truth is that both sides have been trying to pull people from the other side. Nobody wants things to go down to luck, especially if our chance is one in four."

"Wii Fit brings up a good point, Tracer," Alexa admitted. "Your chance of elimination is twenty-five percent if you participate in the rock draw. Does the risk of rocks really outweigh the benefits of hoping that the rocks eliminate someone from the other alliance? Is flipping a bigger risk?"

"I think it is a bigger risk given who I'd be working with if I were to flip. But even if I want to, none of us know who the three are going to be voting for. It could be Rodin, Wii Fit, or myself," she answered. "And if I get eliminated by rocks, then so be it. There's nothing like a fun little gamble!"

The final person Alexa went to address was Sniper. "Sniper. Tracer seems to be fearless with the concept of a rock draw. Do you feel the same way?"

"I'll be honest..." He gritted his teeth. "The idea of gettin' booted out by a rock of all things makes me wanna avoid doin' it at all costs. I've had chats, other people have had chats, and in the end, we as a group are all responsible for rocks if it happens. If it doesn't, then that's fine by me."

The host gave a final nod before getting the vote started. "Alright. Well, let's see what's been made of those chats, because it's time to vote!" He nodded to Edgeworth. "Edgeworth, you're up!"

Standing up, the prosecutor took the voting box and made his way to the voting booth in the far left corner of the room:

Edgeworth votes, but doesn't leave a comment.

"Tracer, you're up."

Tracer: Don't worry Sniper, I'm dreading a rock draw just as much as you are! Luckily for us, Joseph's gonna flip to us and vote off Edgeworth in the revote! (Miles Edgeworth)

"Rodin, you're up."

Rodin: You play a better game than you let on. Being a "loyal" snake in the grass will get you far unless someone does something about it now. (Miles Edgeworth)

"Wii Fit, you're up."

Wii Fit Trainer: I wish I had a coin to flip... (?)

"Sniper, you're up."

Sniper: Just one look at you is enough reason to vote you out before the Merge hits. Krabs was too weak to stay, and you're too strong to stay.

"Joseph, you're up."

Joseph Joestar: If I'm honest, I'd rather not send you home. This decision is all on Wii Fit. (Rodin)

Receiving the voting box back, Alexa opened the lid and gazed over the Punjay tribe.

"If anyone has an idol and they would like to play one, then now's the time to do so."

After a short bout of silence, most were simply glad to not have an idol to further complicate the vote.

"Alright," said Alexa, reaching into the box. "I'll now read out the votes!"

*VOTING TIME*

The first vote goes to... Miles Edgeworth.

The second vote goes to... Miles Edgeworth. Two votes Edgeworth.

The third vote goes to... Rodin. One vote Rodin, and two votes Edgeworth.

The fourth vote goes to... Rodin. That's two votes Rodin and Edgeworth. (Edgeworth gives a sigh of relief.)

The fifth vote goes to... Rodin. Three votes Rodin, and two votes Edgeworth. (Rodin stares intensely at Alexa.)

Alexa plucked the sixth vote from the voting box, took in a deep breath, and read it aloud.

"The eighth person voted out of Survivor Crossover: Ice Cap Zone is..." He flipped it around, revealing it to the tribe. "Rodin. At four votes, that's enough."

"No..." Tracer turned to Wii Fit. "You didn't..."

Wii Fit was unable to look her in the eye, and instead gazed down at the stone floor, a feeling of finality and guilt rushing through her.

Meanwhile, Rodin stood up and grinned. "Well played, Wii Fit. I didn't think you'd be the one to send me packin'..." He confessed.

He walked over to the exit as Alexa carried out the ritual of snuffing his torch, placing an ice cube directly into the flame.

The light of his torch fizzled out, leaving Alexa to confirm his elimination. "Rodin, your time in Survivor Crossover: Ice Cap Zone is over."

"I had my fun," he said casually. Rodin then turned to his tribe. "Keep playin' hard. It'll be entertainin' how things will play out from here," he locked eyes with Tracer. "I know you ain't goin' down without a fight, Tracer."

"You bet!" She asserted.

Rodin gave her a grin before turning and leaving the Tribal Fortress.

"Well, instead of drawing rocks, it looks like somebody decided to jump ship to the new majority! But don't get too comfortable; I'm sure everyone in this tribe just learned how brittle alliances can be. Anyway, good night survivors, and I'll be seeing you in the next challenge!" Alexa waved.

The remaining members of Punjay stood up from their seats and swiftly left. Only five remained, and though Tracer was now solely on the bottom, she was determined to fight tooth and nail to stay in the game.

Rodin's Last Words: "I guess my biggest mistake was assumin' my alliance was as tight as it was. Me n' Tracer were side-by-side from the very start, but it looks like they were able to convince Wii Fit that I was too big of a threat to be kept around. Hell, she was probably right to be convinced by them. It doesn't matter anyway, I think Tracer's got the wits n' strength to outlast her competition."
