'This isn't like, cheating is it? I mean, come on. How can it be cheating? I'm not actually doing anything right? No, this is exactly what this girl deserves! The way she bends her body around when she thinks I'm looking, she's been asking for this!'

After Megumin and Aqua had gone to Wiz's shop early, Kazuma and Darkness had a secret arrangement. One that currently put Darkness in the position of wearing a maid outfit of a size that would probably suit Megumin better.

Kazuma admired her form as she nearly teared up in embarrassment. Oh this was way too sweet. If only he had a camera…perhaps that should be his next suggested invention?

"M-must I really do this?"

"Who was it that said 'No please! I beg you! I'll do anything, just don't do that!' again? It wasn't me sooo."

Darkness turned her head in shame as she recalled that conversation word for word. After reading the letter last night, Kazuma and the two girls had celebrated. Although by celebrate, it was more like 'Confirm all of Darkness's misgivings about them going in the first place'.

As not four seconds had passed and Megumin had already begun talking to herself about what combination of explosive powders would cause the biggest 'boom' to do her introduction with, while Kazuma went on about how he would quickly go and learn a raise undead skill to have a dozen zombie skeletons walk him to his seat like an 'overlord of the underworld'.

She would have to find some way to make Aqua and Megumin behave later, but for Kazuma, it was obvious what the price was going to be. And so here she stood, ready to serve.

"What will you have me do?" she asked with a worried expression.

"Well first off, you're gonna finish what Aqua couldn't."

While the mansion cleaning duties were usually relegated out to each individual member, the rule of make a mess: clean it, still stood no matter what. However in this case, an exception would have to be made in the face of a certain priest's laziness.

"A-all this? But was this mess not made in baking my birthday cake?"

"Yep, and now you're gonna clean it. Have fun."

Kazuma made his way back to the living room to lounge around at his favorite spot near the fireplace.

"W-wait! You're not going to watch me? What if I make a mistake? Then as my temporary master, would it not be your duty to punish me?"

"Hey, if I sneak a few glances here and there, I'm in the clear. If I stare, you're just going to call me a lech or something like you always do. I'm going through character development!"

"A-ah, yes, I was rude to assume that you would always remain your usual self. But even I know that you would never allow yourself to cross a certain line…but will you really not punish me for a bad-"

"Look if you break something then sure I'll think of something up to punish you okay? Now get to work, that kitchen is a mess!"

"Yes!"

"Yes what?"

"Ah, y-yes master."

After hearing her head back to the kitchen, Kazuma stared off into nothing for a few moments before a single manly tear rolled down his cheek.

'Blood double plus bat transformation…I love you!'

Crash!

"Oh no! Master Kazuma! I broke something!"

'...If I was a sadist, this would be a very different type of story'

After secretly getting his fill of eye candy while Darkness cleaned the entire house, and was made to give a foot massage in punishment, they moved on to the garden. Kazuma and Aqua initially wanted to hire maids to make all the chores a non factor, but Darkness was the one who brought up the fact that they were given the mansion, and should take responsibility for maintaining it.

And so, watching from a fair distance as Darkness reached down to pull out weeds and crabgrass, he quickly fought a battle inside his mind to shake some thoughts.

"Kazu- erm, master Kazuma. This bush, has this always been here?"

Off the side of the house where their wooden shed was, a large and rather ugly shrub stood in the middle.

"What the, when did this get here? It's not even the same color as the rest of our bushes."

"What shall I do with it?"

"Just chop it up and throw it away."

The 'bush' began to shiver?

Kazuma looked at the shaking piece of foliage with an expression of a man who's had enough of weird encounters.

"Kazuma?" Darkness asked, unsure whether to continue.

"Yeah chop it up."

Suddenly the shrub sprouted legs and jumped back a bit, only to stumble and fall. The two adventures watched with judging eyes as it tried and failed twice to get up. But as it succeeded, an arm ripped the foliage clean off, revealing a shining suit of silver armor.

"Huh!? You again?"

"So you have seen through my disguise!"

What was once a garlic bag over this hunter's head was noticeable replaced with an actual silver helmet that covered his face.

'Why couldn't I sense him? Don't tell me that silver ACTUALLY works against some of my abilities? What bullshit is that!? How does a met- no you know what, I'm not even going to question the validity of vampire lore'

"Look, if you're asking for your money, we don't have it. Take it up with our priest."

"Money is no problem for the silver saint! My only problem is you! And you have fallen for my ambush!"

"..."

"You're alone aren't you?"

"...yes."

'Do we really have to fight this pathetic excuse for a vampire hunter?'

"Man, can't you just like…go? As you can see, I'm sorta occupied with this perverted mess over agh! Oi! Let go of me!"

"Even if I like some of that stuff, I have limits when we're in front of other people!"

The silver saint, standing like a statue, felt like he was somehow completely forgotten about as the vampire and skimpy crusader wrestled like bears.

"I- uh- hey I'm still here. Guys?"

"So this was your plan Kazuma! I knew that side of you would always remain! Grappling me like this, feeling my skin against yours! It's all part of your insidious plot!"

"Insidious plot!? You grabbed me first you lunatic!"

"Don't worry crusader! I will save PF!"

The bickering duo turned to see the silver clad warrior on the ground, holding his head in pain. When he ran into their fight, Darkness accidently bumped into him with her shoulder.

"See Darkness, your body IS as hard as a rock- WILL YOU LET GO OF ME ALREADY!?"

Finishing their business, Kazuma knelt over the saint and removed his outer plate armor and helmet, cringing at the sight.

"What, is this?"

"I am the silver saint. I am the silver saint. Kill the vampire. Kill the vampire."

The man, who looked like some average, out of shape, middle aged dude, was nearly frothing from the mouth. His pupils going in circles as he repeated the same phrases over and over.

"Don't you dare say my shoulder broke him!"

"Will you shut up? I can feel something."

'Now that his armor is all off, I can definitely sense something familiar. This energy clouding his head feels almost like Vanir, but not quite the same either'

"Darkness, this is hypnosis. This guy is probably some random civilian that's been warped in the head."

"But, who could do this?"

"I don't know, but I think we should get the others for a little chat. I don't know how much I trust the royal family. Back where I used to live, conspiracies on people in power and demon worship are like the bread and butter of low society."

"That's nonsense, I grew up around the royal family. To accuse them of such a thing-"

"I'm not accusing anyone. But I said that this was a bit strange before, and now I know for sure that somethings up. So come on, we're going to Wiz's shop. Actually, let me try something first."

Kazuma hoisted the delirious man by the collar and forcibly opened his eyes. Darkness watched with interest as his eyes began to glow with a slight pink hue. It was even more beautiful than the usual deep red.

"Kazuma, what are you doing?"

"I had this down for a while. But I never got the chance to use it."

Kazuma felt himself grow embarrassed as he remembered the time he referenced it before killing Hanz.

"You're going to go to Arcanletia. And you're going to spread the Eris faith."

"I will make way to Arcanletia, and spread the good word of Eris."

Kazuma laughed to himself as the man stood up, and slowly walked out of their yard.

"How horrifying, it's just like that one time."

"Oi! It is not at all like that! This is called Vampire's charm. I can only give simple commands as long as I look into their eyes, but it's not like I'm making their brain explode, give me a break."

"Even still, to rob another person of their free will for a joke. If you have urges to dominate the will of others, then why not use me instead?"

"I'm not dignifying that with a response. Now come on we're going to Wiz's shop."

"W-wait! I'm still wearing-"

Kazuma realized his mistake in not heeding Darkness's words the moment they stepped inside the bustling shop. As Megumin had immediately besieged him with a glare he knew all too well. Like looking at a disgusting pest.

'Ouch'

"Ah I was wondering if you were going to show up boy! Thanks to your products andapriestwhonearlyruinedeverything, this shop is seeing the most customers it ever has!"

Vanir seemed to be pretty pleased with the current state of things. Watching as their newest items were nearly wiped from the shelves. A torch lighter, and an extremely powerful rope that fits inside a small, pocket sized canister. Vanir didn't need to ask where the idea of a torch lighter and handy rope came from, tsk tsk.

"Eh what was that one part?"

"Ah yes. Wiz asked your priest friend to help in attracting customers. And so she went on to attract a massive crowd and horde it for her pathetic tricks. Luckily your girlfriend managed to drag her back inside where we started making our first sales."

"Oi! Don't you think you should be saying that a little quieter you mind reading jack ass."

Fortunately the shop was loud enough that it seems no one managed to hear.

Megumin continued to glare at Kazuma as Aqua sat across from her, occasionally sipping at a tea with a permanent scowl on her face, still upset that she was wrenched from her 'stage' atop some boxes and forced to end her performance early.

"Yo, crazy how busy it is in here right? Man, back in the mansion, something crazy happened. And there is a reasonable explanation for-"

"Kazuma forced me to massage his feet while wearing this-"

"WILL YOU SHUT UP!? You're doing that on purpose aren't you! You're the one who asked to be punished in the first place! I didn't even wanna watch you clean remember! I sat on the couch and waited like an upstanding member of society!"

Megumin dropped her glare and sighed.

"Seriously, I shouldn't even be surprised anymore. But, I suppose I did say that I liked this stupid side of you…for better or worse."

"Oi, that's the second time you insulted me like that, are you asking for a beating?"

Darkness forced the two apart as they got in each other's faces angrily.

"Kazuma, we're not here to socialize remember?"

"Huh? Oh right. We're going back to the mansion. We need to talk about some things before tomorrow's dinner."

"It's about time. I was hoping I wouldn't have to sit here all day and be forced to listen to 'Hello customer! Welcome to our shop! Five purchases come with a free mask accessory' from his annoying voice. Like anyone would actually want that ugly thing!"

"I heard that!"

Aqua and Vanir stared each other down like beasts.

"Down girl. Our enemy isn't Vanir. At least I hope not."

"What does that mean?"

"It started with you Megumin. Weren't you even a little curious why your parents were still in the same spot after all the money you sent them?"

"Well, actually, I just assumed he spent it all on alcohol and on fueling his inventions."

"...why did I even ask. But still, someone's been having a hand in everything we send out from Axel. Even all the contacts Darkness set me up with for Vanir, a lot of our communication never got through. And then you got what happened with Aqua and the powder."

"Wasn't he just a vampire hater?" Megumin asked.

"An incompetent, no-named hunter, with a full suit of expensive, normally useless armor, along with information on each and every one of us?"

Kazuma went on to explain what happened in the garden, leaving much information out in the process.

"Mind control? It had to have been that demon over at Wiz's shop! I knew we couldn't trust him! Just say the word Kazuma and our problems are a thing of that past."

"Aqua if I see you even go near that shop tomorrow I'm finding some way to get you banned from all the wineries in town."

"Y-you wouldn't!"

"I said it was like Vanir, but not at the same time. This 'saint' was just some throwaway goon to see what we'd do. Whoever we're dealing with is either a demon, or is in league with one."

"Could it have been Dev?"

"Nah, she was flowing with divine energy. Many different divine energies. This was definitely more in line with the type of energy I feel from Vanir. But to be honest I'm still not sure. Which is why I wanted to say that for tomorrow's banquet, I want everyone to be on guard. Let's listen to Darkness and try not to do anything dumb."

"You say that like you expect us to do something dumb!" Megumin said.

"Because that's exactly what you guys would do?"

"You were planning on walking into the castle with an army of skeletons!"

"Hey, that's cool and badass. Doing your introduction and setting off a small bomb would only get us thrown out."

"Are you seriously not able to see which of the two is worse? I'd rather be thrown out than named an enemy of the kingdom!"

'God, I hope I'm not ALREADY an enemy of the kingdom, given what's been going on around here'

A day had passed, and Kazuma plus two of the girls had found themselves outside the Dustiness mansion, a true mansion that put theirs to shame. They might be the richest party in Axel, but coming here would remind them that there is always a bigger fish.

'I wonder how the royal palace looks like'

Darkness, who had left the prior night, greeted them at the entrance already fitted in a beautiful white dress, and her hair done in long braided ponytail. Kazuma wore a red and black dress suit that he bought while obtaining a certain maid outfit.

"I, Lalatina Dustiness Ford, welcome you. Please, enjoy your stay as I will be the hostess for tonight. And now if you will, follow me."

'Sometimes I forget that she can act like an actual noblewoman. It's almost like looking at a different, more respectable human being'

The maids led the party to a small waiting room where Darkness motioned the girls into another room to get dressed.

"This is a bit too big for me. Can't I wear one of your um…other ones, like before?"

Kazuma could hear Megumin and the girls quite clearly from the next room.

"Oh, you mean like the black dress you asked to borrow last month?"

"Shhh! Not so loud!"

'Ah, that explains it. I knew she didn't actually own such an illustrious dress. But if she's had it for a month…'

Kazuma began to think about just how long Megumin had planned on eventually going on a date. Last month would have been before their trip to the crimson demon village.

After some time, they returned to the waiting room.

"Mn!"

Kazuma couldn't help but verbally react at Megumin's appearance. Similar to the last dress, the thin strap left most of her shoulders and upper chest bare. The colors on the other hand, were a similar black, but now sported red stitching on the sides and hemline.

He glanced at what he himself was wearing, then back to her.

When she noticed him make the connections, she shyly looked away.

"You know Kazuma, you should really count yourself lucky. Just look at us, and yet you never take some time to worship us like you should." Aqua said.

'Her dress is missing a gag'

"Yeah whatever it's very nice, happy?"

"You two stop fighting. We're going to meet her now. So don't mess up anything! Kazuma, we had a deal, so if you double cross me I will crush you! Aqua, no tricks! And Megumin…lift up your skirt, I do not trust you one bit!"

"W-what!?"

Kazuma had no shame as he turned his entire body to watch what was about to transpire.

'Maybe Aqua was right, I need to appreciate this team more'

Darkness finally led them into the dining hall. It wasn't too overdone. All of the tapestry and table sheets were white, matching the dress of the young girl who sat at the end.

'Wow, she's exactly what I thought a princess would look like, a real beauty. I DID always want a little sister'

You have issues

'Wha- You wait just a god damn minute! You KNOW that's not what I meant! She is out of my shooting range! And who told YOU to butt in!? Go back to being silent!'

The princess was flanked on both sides by attractive girls. One wearing an all white suit, short hair and a sword strapped to her waist, and the other in black robes and rings that emanated magic power, Kazuma assumed she was a wizard.

'Hmm, her bodyguards? Nah, they're both pretty weak. Must be servants or something'

Both of the attendants froze the second he walked in, eyeing him carefully. The girl in the white suit seemed far more upset at his existence than anyone else in the room.

"Sorry for the wait, princess Iris. These are my closest friends and members of my team. Please introduce yourselves to the princess."

Aqua bowed slightly and did a curtsy.

"My name is Aqua, Archpriest. I am very pleased to meet you. And now, to commemorate our meeting, with nothing but these ice cubes, I will-"

Darkness covered her mouth with her hand and restrained her, getting her hair pulled hard in the process as Aqua fought back.

"I'm very sorry Princess! I simply have to, share some words, with my companion!"

Megumin took the opportunity to reach under her skirt to pull out a small container of something, before she could even flash it, Darkness had grabbed onto her too.

'Did I NOT tell these girls to stay cautious!? If Iris was an enemy and had an ambush planned, they'd be completely taken off guard!'

Kazuma looked at the princess, noting the pretty hue of her blue eyes. She stared at him back and whispered into the ears of the lady in the white suit.

'Guess she's shy?'

"Don't you dare look me in my eyes like that you peasant. If you truly thought this was a normal occurrence then you are mistaken. You are only here out of sheer curiosity and nothing more. Now hurry up with your introduction, sit down, and tell me what I want to know…that's what the princess says."

Kazuma stood frozen for a few seconds. None of the girls must have heard as they continued fighting amongst themselves in the corner of the room.

'What? What a total fucking bitch! Sorry Darkness, but some deals are meant to be broken'

"You call me a peasant? You're just a princess, I'm king of Fratitia, know your place."

"What was that?"

The girl in the white suit took a step forward and placed her hand on her waist.

Suddenly Darkness grabbed Kazuma by the hand and pulled him back.

"I'm sorry princess Iris! My friend Kazuma here has been on edge and is really excitable! Let me talk to him for a second!"

"Oi! Did you hear what she said to me!?" Kazuma joined Megumin in pulling on her braid.

"No, but you just spoke down to the princess of the entire kingdom! We had a deal! Now will you two stop pulling on my hair!?...wait, two? Where's Aqua!?"

The trio looked back to see Aqua using nothing but a butter knife and a selection of ice cubes to carve a sculpture in less than a minute. When she finished, it was a simplified, but still impressive bust of the princess herself.

"Tadaa! This is for you!"

The princess took the sculpture and admired it alongside her attendants, each one similarly shocked and confused how it was possible to do such a thing with minimal tools and bad materials.

The princess whispered once more to white suit.

"Amazing! Absolutely amazing! In exchange for this, I will choose to ignore his crude words. However, I wish to begin hearing your tales and exploits. Especially in the case of Mitsurugi. You are the one that defeated him are you not? Despite his reputation as one of the most powerful slayers in the kingdom, you proved victorious. That's what her majesty says."

'I guess that guys reputation goes beyond Axel too'

"And then, using her desire for love, I got her to lower her guard. She opened her heart to me, and then I put my sword right through it. She fell down dead only moments later."

The room remained silent for a moment. Even his own team, who had not actually seen this happen, looked at him with worrying expressions. Was this a red flag? Should they talk to him?

"How disgustingly brutal. Your lack of- yes princess. I understand. Ahem…amazing! Your brutal methods of destroying the enemy and merciless demeanor in dealing with threats is completely different to the other adventurers who have told me of their travels. All of those stories were about saving a town from monsters, or fighting a dragon to protect a woman they loved. All amazing stories for sure, but all the same variation of a heroes tale. However, with you, you go out of your way to fulfill a bloodthirsty craving for dominance. That's what her majesty says."

White suit almost looked embarrassed to say that.

'Bloodthirsty craving for dominance? Where did she get that? Since when did I go out of my way to kill something that I didn't need to? And also, what kind of girl is she? Since when are bloodthirsty and merciless words that a princess like her would use?'

Kazuma shook off his confusion and continued with appearances, especially because the princess was looking into his eyes with such amazement and wonder. A complete turn around from how she was acting towards him before.

"Well, after I became a vampire. I learned that with every kill, I got stronger. And so I began to hunt out every conceivable foe. Especially enemies of the kingdom."

"Quite exemplary. Since you are always growing stronger, what do you do in your free time? The princess asks."

"Well, of course I take my time to rest. Since I go on quest as often as I can, my time spent at home is just resting my body and avoiding the sun."

This back and forth of questions and mostly truthful answers continued for a bit. With Aqua sometimes snickering to herself over it all. Although perhaps that was just all the wine getting to her.

"You know Kazuma, I am very curious. You speak of these amazing powers that normal vampires do not possess, powers that I assume are what allowed you to defeat even Mitsurugi. Would you mind showing me an example of what that looks like?"

'Shit! In my current state, I don't think I can use spells! I'm completely powerless. There's gotta be an out'

Megumin wasn't sure why he wasn't responding, but instantly picked up on the fact that he was struggling internally and spoke up.

"Perhaps that can wait for another day? Kazuma's powers are all blood based, and since we are eating maybe it's not the time for something that could possibly offend the princess."

'That's my girl!'

"I would most definitely not get offended by something like that. In fact, I too, wish for you to show us one of your vampiric abilities. That is what her majesty says."

"Blood! That is what he is missing, he has no blood stored to cast his spells with."

"Is that true? Then may I ask for your adventurers card? Surely something like that is not asking for too much?"

'My adventurers card doesn't have a single thing on it aside from thief spells, drain touch and steal!'

"There's no reason to show you, for you see, I am of the adventurer class."

White suit narrowed her eyes in suspicion.

"You're the weakest possible class? Are you sure that you are not perhaps lying to us about your deeds?"

'This lady is going to be the death of me'

The princess, whose face turned from amazed to completely disinterested and disappointed, whispered once more.

"I find it completely absurd that someone of the weakest possible class, who cannot show us even an inkling of power, could have defeated someone handsome like Mitsurugi. Everyone knows about him and his power, and yet you want me to believe a basic adventurer proved his superior? That is what the princess says."

'Someone handsome like Mitsurugi?'

"Little girl or not, I will bite you. These fangs don't differentiate gender or class."

Kazuma had said such a thing, despite never actually biting anyone as an act of violence.

"You insolent fool! You DARE threaten the princess!?"

White suit unsheathed her sword and took an aggressive stance.

'Damn it, guess I have no choice'

Darkness got up from her chair and bowed her head low.

"Please excuse my friend! He is a man who lacks manners, so please forgive him. If not for his numerous merits on this team, then for my sake."

After staring down at Kazuma for a few seconds, white suit sheathed her sword.

"For the sake of Lalatina and the Dustiness house, she will not pursue the matter any further. However she is now upset. Your rewards will be given out as usual, but after that is finished, I demand that this disgusting thing leave at once."

"I've had enough! Your disrespect towards him ends now!"

Megumin had stood up and slammed a fist into the table, prompting white suit to face her with a sneer.

Kazuma was only caught off guard for a moment. But he knew that of the three girls, it was bound to be her to say something like that first. Not only was she the hot head of the team, but the one who cared about him the most.

"Hah! What are you asking for little girl? That the princess treats your plebian of a friend as an equal?"

Her words only made Megumin clench her fist harder in rage. She began wondering the political outcome of turning the women in front of her to dust. Only holding back, just barely, because she didn't want to destroy Darkness's home.

However it was Iris herself to stand up and speak next. Her voice would have been cute if her words weren't:

"He has shown nothing that proves anything he says! Does that not mean that he is nothing more than a con man? He's a weakling-!"

The princess suddenly felt an icy chill all over her body. She let out a gasp at the uncomfortable change in temperature, looking down to see her now ruined, drenched, dress.

Megumin had tossed her drink at the princess.

"Princess Iris! Why you, little girl! You won't live to regret that!"

"Claire wait!"

White suit, probably named Claire, unsheathed her blade once again and raised it above her head. Ignoring the princess's cries in the process.

Kazuma, despite the circumstances, prayed that his body would be enough, and rushed towards Megumin to hold her in such a way that the blade only slashes him.

It never came.

Blinking a few times to make sure he was still there at all, Kazuma let go of Megumin and turned back, his jaw opening at the sight.

Darkness, with her bare hand, had stopped the blade in its tracks. It didn't even cut all that deep, enough to let out a bit of blood and nothing more.

"Lalatina." Claire said in shock. That swing was meant to slice Megumin in two, and yet it could barely cut into the crusader's hand.

Darkness gripped the blade hard and pulled it down. When she opened her eyes, Claire shivered.

"If you wish to punish me, then that is fine. I will take the fall for any grievance you have with my party. But to attempt to harm my friends. I think, that's quite enough isn't it?"

Neither Kazuma nor Megumin had seen this side of Darkness before. She spoke to the woman as if she was talking to garbage.

Princess Iris looked up at Darkness with fear. When the crusader noticed this, she let go of Claire's sword and softened her face.

"Forgive me for saying this, but that is no way to speak to an adventurer who is responsible for some of the greatest feats in the kingdom. You must understand that there is nothing to be ashamed about in ones class."

The formerly dark tone was gone from her voice, replaced with a gentle kind one.

"Alright. I get it, I caused some problems. Since Darkness is going out of her way to take the blame, I guess I can try."

'God I hope this works'

Claire meekly put her sword away and tilted her head in confusion.

"The way I defeated Mitsurugi, well. It's pretty simple. All I did was this."

Kazuma, raising his hand faster than their eye's can follow, tapped Claire on the forehead. When she suddenly slumped down unconscious, he smiled in relief.

'Holy crap it worked! I can't believe that actually works!'

After finally getting Aqua to wake up from her drunken stupor, she healed Darkness's hand before her head slammed into the table once more.

'How is the actual goddess the most undignified one here?'

Princess Iris exchanged words with her wizard attendant, who was holding the still sleeping Claire in her arms.

"I think you should tell him yourself your highness. He's exactly the type from your books no? And he seems like the kind of man to love your type."

'Huh!? Are they openly referring to me as a lolicon!?'

He waited anxiously as the princess approached him.

"I'm very sorry for all the things I said about you. If you don't mind, would you tell me more about how it is being a vampire in the future?"

"I'd love to."

It seems it was finally time to wrap things up. Everyone began to say their goodbyes while the wizard started to ready a teleportation spell. Kazuma however, found it a bit weird when all of their goodbyes and rewards were directed at everyone other than him.

"Well uh, bye princess. I'll tell you all about vampires when I see you again?"

"Huh? What are you talking about?"

She looked at him with a genuinely confused expression, before reaching out and grabbing him by the arm and pulling him into the circle.

"Teleportation!"

The bright light forced Kazuma to shut his eyes tight. When he opened them, he was in front of the royal palace.

'This has got to be illegal'

"Kazuma!" Darkness cried out into the empty room.

"We have to get him back!"

"Megumin, he's at the royal kingdom, a trip like that would take us-"

"I don't care! We're going to get him now!"

"Woah, what's with all the commotion." A third voice said behind them.

Before their very eyes, the vampire of Axel, with a smug grin plastered on, walked calmly into the room.

"Kazuma!?"

"But how?"

Megumin and Darkness hurried over to poke and prod at him to make sure he wasn't just a figment of their imagination.

'Blood double I love you!'
