"Lacerated spinal column, cracked sternum, shattered collarbone, perforated liver, one hell of a headache." Fury listed

"Don't forget your collapsed lung." the doctor added

"Oh, let's not forget that. Otherwise, I'm good." Fury snorted

Rose chuckled, "You had one hell of a ride, huh?"

"They cut you open, your heart stopped," Nat noted, wincing as another guy wrapped bandages around her gunshot wound.

"Tetrodotoxin B." Fur answered

"I thought that thing turned bogus," Rose muttered

Fury raised a brow at her.

"Bruce told me," Rose folded her arms

Fury exhaled and then faced others, "It slows the pulse to one beat a minute. Banner developed it for stress. Didn't work so great for him, but we found a use for it."

"Why all the secrecy? Why not just tell us?" Steve asked

"Any attempt on the director's life had to look successful," Hill answered

"Can't kill you if you're already dead." Fury snorted

"Can't argue there," Clint muttered, "But why didn't you trust us? Me? Nat? You put the damn team together!"

Fury exhaled, "The communications were not safe nor secure. Why do think they chose now of all time? They knew that the Avengers would be scattered all over the damn globe." Fury slightly shifted to sit straighter, "She was supposed to be London. You in Hong Kong. Tony and Banner in France. Thor, space. Rogers had a mission for the Middle East which got delayed. Romanoff would have been shipped off as well; if not, she isn't that much of a threat all by herself."

"They were tracking us." Rose muttered, "and found an opening."

"What were you doing back anyway?"

"Some event gala. Dad bailed."

Fury then looked at the group, "Besides, I wasn't sure who to trust exactly."

"You could trust us," Clint noted with a frown

"I trusted Pierce. Look what that got me." Fury noted, "This man declined the Nobel Peace Prize. He said, "Peace wasn't an achievement, it was a responsibility." See, it's stuff like this that gives me trust issues."

"We have to stop the launch," Nat noted

"I don't think the Council's accepting my calls anymore." Fury said and opened a case. Inside were 3 chips.

"Actually we already have the chips," Rose said and pulled out the velvet pouch from her pocket and took out five chips from it.

Fury and Hill looked at her.

"What? It's better safe than sorry."

"and you just happened to have them lying around?" Fury asked

"No. I had them safely tucked in a box in my workshop," Rose replied

"What do the chips do?" Sam asked

"Once the Helicarriers reach three thousand feet, they'll triangulate with Insight satellites becoming fully weaponized," Hill answered

"We need to breach those carriers and replace their targeting chips with our own."

"Basically switch Insight satellites for Stark Satellites," Rose quipped

"One or two won't cut it. We need to link all three carriers for this to work because if even one of those ships remains operational a whole lot of people are gonna die." Hill added

"We have to assume everyone aboard those carriers is HYDRA. We need to get past them, insert the server chips, and maybe, just maybe, we can salvage what's left..." Fury added

"We're not salvaging anything. We're not just taking down the carriers, Nick, we're taking down SHIELD." Steve noted

"SHIELD had nothing to do with it."

"You gave me this mission, this is how it ends. SHIELD's been compromised, you said so yourself. HYDRA grew right under your nose and nobody noticed."

"Why do you think we're meeting in this cave? I noticed."

"And how many paid the price before you did?" Steve asked, "SHIELD, HYDRA, it all goes."

"He's right." Hill agreed

Fury looked exasperated and then he looked at Rose, who shrugged and leaned back, "He and I may be going through a rough patch, but he ain't wrong. Paperclip didn't work out as well as any of us had expected. We can't expect for this to work out any better either."

Fury took a deep breath, "Look, I didn't know about Barnes."

Steve started saying something but Rose cut him off, "Oh you don't have to worry about that one now," she chuckled

Steve narrowed her eyes at her, "What's that supposed to mean?"

Rose looked at him relaxed, "You just said it. SHIELD, HYDRA all goes. Last I checked, which was about 2 hours earlier, Barnes is Winter Soldier, who's HYDRA. HYDRA is going down. So is Winter Soldier." She got up and started walking out, "I'll get my sui-"

Suddenly Steve caught her arm and stopped, "We are going to save Bucky."

Rose chuckled, "I have no clue how you are planning on doing that, though, good luck. But I'm here to end Winter Soldier. Whether you like it or not."

"Bucky is-"

"Yes! we all heard it! Millions of times! For the love of God, we all know that you had some romance going on with Bucky that got cut in the middle because of the incident in '43. We know that!" she walked closer to him, "This isn't the time for romance, Rogers. And for the last time. SHIELD goes, HYDRA goes, Winter Soldier goes. And that's the end of it." she stepped a little closer to him, "Let go, now"

But Steve didn't.

The next thing they all saw was her eyes glow. Not the regular green glow. It seemed threatening, dangerous.

"Shouldn't we do something?" Sam asked

"You wanna step between a super-soldier and a very powerful witch, be our guest," Clint muttered

Sam looked at the pair but didn't move.

"Smart choice," Nat muttered from where she was seated

Rose's eyes glowed intensely and even her hands were getting a little luminescent. Steve did not back down.

"Do not test me."

Apparently, Steve didn't get that memo.

"Or what? Bucky is innocent. You are not gonna hurt him."

"I'm not going to hurt him." Rose chuckled, "I'm gonna do way worse."

"Oh boy," Nat muttered. Everyone in that cave was transfixed by the drama that was unfolding before them. And things were getting worse.

And suddenly there was a flash and Steve got thrown across the space and he landed on his arse.

"Do not come in my way, Rogers. I respect you. But not even that much." and she started walking out

"What would you do-" Steve heaved out, trying to sit up and looked at her, "What would you do if it was one of your brothers or Ginny?"

The next thing Steve knew, something zoomed past him and embedded in the wall. A couple of blond hair strands, chopped blonde hair, were falling down. He looked next to him and there on the wall just a centimeter away from his face was a small glowing dagger.

"Keep my family out of it." She said calmly but it sent shivers down everyone's spine, "you know nothing about me or my family. I'll say it the last time, stay out of my way." she inhaled deeply, "Or, I won't miss the next time."

Silence resonated after that. Not a person spoke.

It lasted for only some time but felt like hours and hours.

"I need a minute with Stark. Alone." Fury exclaimed

Hill quickly gathered things and with the doctor ushered them all out. Sam helped Steve who still looked angry but quietly left. In the end, only Rose and Fury were left alone.

"come on," Fury invited

Rose exhaled and walked back to Fury, sitting on the bed near his feet.

"If you're gonna ask me to apologize and understand his situation, save it. I'm not going to."

Fury cocked his brow, "Are you confusing me with Carter or something? 'Cause if you are, get your eyes checked."

Rose looked at him with a poker face, "Don't think Grandma Pegs would ask me of that either."

Fury just looked at with a, 'I'm not the mood for your bullshit' expression.

"Rogers crossed the line. You did no wrong by standing your ground." he sat straighter, "Barnes is like a rabid dog. He's already bad enough on a leash. But free, he's dangerous and deadly. He needs to be neutralized. Rogers won't do it. But someone has to."

Rose took a long deep breath, "Did you know that Winter Soldier killed Howard and Grandma? HYDRA killed them?"

Fury remained stoic but Rose knew that the news had shocked him but he was quick to conceal that.

"Now it makes sense," he muttered

"What does?"

Fury looked at her, contemplated for a moment, and then answered, "The day of the accident, Howard was carrying an important...material. It was classified and I do not know what it was. But it was damn important. After the crash was discovered, whatever Howard was transporting, it went missing."

"So Winter Soldier killed them because of whatever this thing Howard was transporting?"

"That makes a lot more sense than a random act of assassination. Howard and Maria's death had always bugged me as odd and...sudden. Unprovoked. And I never thought any of that had any connection. Now, it doesn't look like that."

Rose sighed, "This is so not my week," she reached and rubbed her temples, "Why didn't tell Dad about that?"

"Tony was already going through a lot back then. He had his education, the company, you. You were a toddler and you became his priority. I always thought I'd tell him later, but the opportunity never came up."

Rose nodded slightly. She exhaled, tucking some hair behind her ears.

"Have you told Tony?"

"Not yet. I'm still...still processing, I guess."

"He should know."

"I know." Rose sighed, "God! I know. He deserves to know about this way more than I do. But how am I supposed to tell him that? Nick, it will hurt him so bad. and I won't be there to...I won't be there with him."

"Tony's a grown man. He can handle it."

"Can he?"

Fury shrugged, "Doesn't hurt to be optimistic."

Rose sighed, tucking some fringes behind her ear, "I'm scared, Nick. I'm fucking scared."

Fury reached and covered her tiny hands with his, "I know. But you've faced far worse situations, Rosie. You've got this."

Rose looked at him.

"You are Rose fuckin' Potter-Stark. You went one on one with a goddamn basilisk and a dragon. You dealt with Stane all by yourself. You run a billion-dollar empire and deal with rubbish all day. You are telling me a human assassin or a trash terrorist organization scares you?"

Rose chuckled, "Enhanced assassin."

"Enhanced human assassin," Fury corrected, "He's human. And he can bleed." he squeezed her hand, "You do what you feel is right. I'm not going to throw you under the bus for that and those who would, well, then you are handing with the wrong crowd."

Rose nodded and pulled her hand, "I better call Dad and let him know"

Fury gave her a curt nod, "Send Hill, Barton, and Romanoff in"

"Got it, boss." She smiled softly, got off the bed walked out. Steve was nowhere to be seen. Sam was speaking with Hill. Clint, Nat, and the doctor were huddled together.

"Hill, Clint, Nat. Fury wants you guys in" she informed

"you okay?" Nat asked

"Yeah. Just gonna take a walk."

Clint squeezed her shoulder in a comforting way and she walked out. The hill above the cave was deserted and quiet. She walked around aimlessly before following on a trail. After some time she found a flat-surfaced rock. She sat on it, folded her legs, and just looked around.

She exhaled and took out her phone and dialed her father's number. Tony picked up on the second ring.

"Hey. Are you okay?"

Rose softly smiled, "Yeah. Just a couple of scratches," her hand reached for her forehead wound. It wasn't too severe and the doctor had cleaned it well. She could feel it healing.

"Good. Others?"

"Eh. Somewhat fine." she looked down as she played with the loose thread on the seams of the pant. "there's something I need to tell you."

"Alright."

She sniffed once, "Remember Winter Soldier?"

"Barnes turned HYDRA assassin who tried to kill you twice and then later died in an explosion," Tony answered without missing a beat

"Yeah him." she took a deep breath, "you know what? Why don't you sit down? Take a seat"

"Rosie?"

"Please, dad. Just...uh...sit down."

There was a three-second silence, "Alight. I'm seated."

"Okay. Here it goes. Winter Soldier and HYDRA, both are alive."

There was a sharp intake of breath but nothing was said so she continued.

"Winter Soldier tried to kill Nick. Pierce is HYDRA. As it turns out, most of SHIELD is HYDRA."

"Okay. It looks bad."

Oh he had no idea, did he?

"I told Rogers about Barnes."

"He didn't take it well, did he? Ginny mentioned you and Rogers had a massive shouting fight."

"She called you?"

"I called her to get an update on things."

Rose sighed, "It wasn't a massive shouting fight. We had a...disagreement." she looked down again, pulling and twirling the loose threads.

"You shouted at each other, from what I gather. That isn't a disagreement, darling. That's a fight."

Rose exhaled, "Well, we had another. Just a couple of minutes ago. Things escalated quickly."

"Did he egg you?"

"Kinda," she softly nodded

"It's on him then."

"Nat got shot"

"Jesus! Is she okay?"

"Yeah, we got her medical help in time. Nick's fine too. And so is Hill."

"That's some good news in all this shit show."

Rose took another breath. You can do it. It's not as bad. He's your father and he deserves to know.

"Rosie? Baby, is there something else?"

"Y-Yeah"

"What is it?"

She exhaled, "What do you remember about Grandma and Howard's accident?"

She could tell that the question confused him but he answered anyway. "Howard was drunk driving. Swerved at the wrong turn. Crashed into a tree. Got himself and mom killed with his stupidity and the fact that he couldn't stay away from alcohol for one day."

Ever since she had learned of her grandparent's deaths, she just like Tony, had always blamed Howard for what happened. They blamed him for killing Maria.

"Yeah." she exhaled. Here goes nothing. Time to let it out. "Howard didn't get them killed. It wasn't an accident." she licked her lips, "Winter Soldier killed them. On HYDRA's orders."

There was a disturbing silence on the other end. She closed her eyes and continued.

"I saw it. There was this camera-footage in HYDRA archives. Winter Soldier caused that accident and he..." she took a deep shuddering breath, "he killed them. Grandma made it out of the car but..." she gulped, unable to speak anymore. She gulped.

There was nothing but silence on the other side.

"Dad?" she asked softly, "Hello? Daddy?"

And suddenly it was the dial tone.

Shit!

Tony had hung-up on her which meant he was going to do something stupid. Rose took a deep shuddering breath and dialed him back. Voicemail. She jumped on her feet and tried again. Voicemail.

"Shit! shit! shit! shit! shit! SHIT!" she almost yelled before calling him back again. Voicemail.

"FUCKING SHIT! she called again, voicemail. She ran a hand through her hair. This was not supposed to happen!

"Bruce," she muttered and quickly called him. Thankfully he answered.

"He-"

"Is dad with you?"

"What? Is everythi-"

"Is dad with you?!"

"Uh...he's in the room. I'm down at the cafeteria. What happened? Are you okay?"

"Bruce, Dad's gonna do something super stupid. Stop him. Now!"

there was a beat of silence before she heard Bruce running, muttering "Pardon!" and "Excusez-Moi!"

"Tony! Tony! Stop! Hey! Tony!"

"Please please please please," Rose chanted, almost terrified

"Hey! Where are you going?"

"I have to go,"

"What's going on?"

"You won't get it."

"Rose. On the phone."

There was some silence and then,

"Yeah?"

"Dad! Please please! Don't come here. Stay where you are. Please!"

"He killed mom."

"I know. I want him to pay as much as you do. But rushing in like this is not going to help anyone. Please. Stay there." She sniffed, "I'm going to bring this entire shit storm down. I'm gonna fucking set this thing on hell-fire. But I need to do it by myself. You being here could complicate things. Please, understand."

"Ros-"

"I beg you. Please don't. Let me handle it." she sat back down, tears pricking her eyes again, "I already lost Grandma to HYDRA and...and..." her breath shuddered, "And Howard too. I can't risk you. Please. Dad. For once, listen to me."

No response.

"Okay"

Rose almost laughed in relief, as a couple of tears flowed down her eyes. She wiped them sniffed.

"Okay. Okay."

"What about others?"

"Nat and Clint haven't said much. They're more pissed at Pierce than Winter Soldier. Rogers, on the other hand..." she trailed off

There was a beat of silence and then, "Are you fucking kidding me?"

Rose closed her and took a deep breath, "I wish I was."

"Rogers wants to save the Winter Soldier?!"

"Well, technically he wants to save Barnes."

"who is Winter Soldier!"

Rose took a deep breath.

"That should explain your fights" Tony muttered, "I don't know much about what's going on there. But give 'em hell. Or you'll be grounded."

"Got it," Rose nodded, "Can I talk to Bruce?"

"Here,"

"Yeah?" Bruce asked, "You okay? Everyone else?"

"Fine. Kickin'." she exhaled, "Listen, could you keep an eye on Dad? He's a bit...disoriented right now. Keep him company?"

"I got it here. I don't know what trouble you are getting into but from whatever I could gather, you better do your best."

"Yeah."

"Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned."

Rose chuckled

"Take care, dear"

"You too," Rose smiled and he hung up.

"God!" she groaned, sitting back down and pressing the heel of her palm against her eyes. Not the one to drop things, she called Mia next. She was super paranoid for a reason.

"Do you want me to be there?" Mia asked as soon as she answered the phone.

Rose blinked, "Actually, no. I got things covered here."

"Good. Ginny kinda scared me."

"You spoke to Ginny?"

"Uh..yeah. She called me to ask some stuff and then mentioned you lot. You all got me worried here."

"We are good." she paused, "somewhat."

"What happened?"

"Nothing we can't deal with later." she muttered, "How's Emma and John?"

"Mum and dad are good. They've been asking about you."

"I miss them too. Especially, Emma's quiche."

"Sure. Only you'd miss food more than people."

Rose could practically hear Hermione roll her eyes which made her chuckle.

"What do you need help with?"

"I got it covered, here"

"And you called me to discuss mum's quiche. Right. Rose?"

Rose exhaled, "If possible, can you check up on dad?"

"Is Tony okay?"

"I'd like to think so." she exhaled, "I just told him something that pissed him off and he almost got on a warpath. Bruce is with him but I'd really appreciate it if you could just check on him. Please"

"Yeah, that won't be a problem, honey."

Rose smiled softly and then she realized another thing, "Hey did you get any calls from SHIELD?"

"Uh...had a couple of missed calls about a while ago when I was in the loo. I was going to call them back"

"Do not."

"Rosie? What's going on?"

"Have you not checked the news?"

"Not really"

"What the fuck did Ginny tell you then?"

"She said something along the lines of some terrorist organization and how you got involved with them while trying to destroy them. She sounded a bit all over the place."

Rose sighed and ran a hand through her hair. She had no idea if it was a good thing or bad that she hadn't told Ginny anything.

She exhaled, "I'll keep it simple. SHIELD is compromised. Clint, Nat, Steve, and I got stuck neck deep. And they are looking for us. Mia, please switch your phone off and just...just...ugh...vanish. for a couple of days. I don't want you or your parents getting in trouble for any of that shit. I'll call when things'll clear up."

Mia took a deep breath, "Alright. I'll check in on Tony and do the following."

"Thank you. And I'm so sorry."

"Never be sorry for standing your ground and fighting for what's right, Potter. It looks bad on you."

Rose chuckled

"Take care. Don't pull any stupid hero shit. I mean it. I love my team, but I love my best friend more."

"Got it"

"Okay. I better ger packing."

Rose hummed and then hung up.

Oh god! how bad and twisted it had turned out.

She stood up for a second and pulled out a pack of cigarettes from her pocket, took one out, and lighted the end with a small fire spell.

Now Rose wasn't a big-time smoker or something. She rarely smoked. In fact, the frequency was so low, one could almost consider her a non-smoker.

Having picked this habit during some lows and rough patches in life, it was on its way to becoming an addiction when Tony had found out about it. And boy did he try super hard to make sure she never saw another cigarette ever again in her life. She had pretty much stopped only to find herself craving for one when she under immense stress.

Now whenever she smoked, it was when Tony was not in the vicinity. She had one small secret stash in the tower in her room and another in her workshop. And a smaller stash in her office. Just a couple of small packs that she'd use over 6 months, sometimes even a year. Her magic helped to keep the pack fresh once she'd open it.

The only people who knew she smoked were Pepper, Brit, and Ron. And the three had promised not to tell Tony, or anyone else, about it as long as the occasional smoke didn't turn into an addiction.

The only times she ever smoked was when either she was super pissed or super stressed. And weirdly, the current situation checked both the requirements of her having a smoke.

Handling the cigarette between the fingers, she exhaled the smoke and looked at nature. She exhaled and took another whiff.

What would she do if it was her siblings instead of Bucky Barnes?

The question had been bugging her ever since, no matter how much she wanted to overlook it. She knew her family. She had a past. Ideally speaking, the first thing she'd do was make sure the person was actually dead. Then she'd do whatever is required.

Sure Steve did not have such privileges, especially the ones she does, but the whole situation does kind of make him a douchebag hypocrite.

Thor's adoptive brother, but a brother nonetheless, went on through a homicidal phase and murdered 80 people in 2 days and Steve was on board with imprisoning him. Hell, he'd have been down with killing him either if it meant that Loki would be stopped.

But when it comes to Winter Soldier, aka Barnes, his best friend, who's been 'dead' for the last 70 years and assassinated around 50 people over his tenure, Steve wants to save him?

Okay, so the only difference between the two cases was that Loki did it in his free will while Winter Soldier is brainwashed. And one of them is a God. So he's down to hurting, and if needed killing, Thor's brother but won't endanger his vintage bff, who's just as much of a loose canon? If Loki doesn't deserve second chances then why does Barnes?

"Fucking manky cunt," she muttered, taking another whiff. Why does he have to make everything difficult and complicated? Why was she even overthinking this? It won't be the first time she'd kill someone and this time as well, he'd be well deserving. And this was entirely too personal, so she was going to make him pay the price for what he did to her and her family.

She exhaled and walked a little more along the trail, looking around. Finally, she spotted something. Steve was on a bridge, overlooking the reservoir. And Sam was walking to him. she had no idea what they were talking about but she was sure it had something to do with what just happened and Winter Soldier.

She exhaled and taking one last whiff, she dropped the bud and crushed it with her foot. She'd have to address this situation with him eventually, no matter how much she dreaded it. Right now, they were a team. Though what will be the future of the team after this, she had no idea.

Deciding to just get over with it, she walked down the trail and to the bridge, his questions still pondering in her head. And she hated it.

"...doesn't know you," Sam said

"He will." Steve curtly replied

"That's some blatant optimism," Rose deadpanned catching their attention, "better hold onto it"

Steve remained stoic and looked back front. She turned to Sam, "Can I have a minute with old and grumpy?"

He nodded and walked away and Rose took his spot.

She took a deep breath, looking at the water body. The silence between them was, for the first time in a long time, stressful and disturbing.

"If it was one of my siblings, I'd either stop them to save the world. Or I'd let the world get destroyed to save them. Whatever comes first, situation-wise, I guess."

"What if we could save both?" Steve asked

"I don't think there's a way of doing that. But if you have a plan, you'll find me next to you."

"Trying to kill Bucky?" he scoffed

"I'll do whatever is necessary. If killing him is the only way of dealing with the loose cannon he is, so be it." she took a deep breath and looked at him, "One shot. You have one shot. Do whatever you want. Save him, stop him. It's all you. You miss that shot, I'll take mine. And I promise I won't miss."

Steve looked at her for a second, as if looking for loopholes or tricks. Finally, he nodded.

"How come the change of mind?"

"Don't look a gift horse in mouth," she muttered, looking back ahead of her, "Get the shit done before I change my mind and decide that my previous decision was much better and favored everything and everyone."

Steve took a deep breath and nodded.

"By the way, you owe me one," Rose muttered

"For what?"

"I called Dad and told him everything. He's on a warpath before I managed to stop him. He's super-duper pissed." she scoffed, "Trust me, I can be reasoned with. Dad, well..." she spared him a quick look, "I'd keep my pretty face away from him if I were you. A warning, gold-titanium gauntlet has enough strength to break bones and that's been field-tested."

"I'll the risk," Steve replied

"of course you would," Rose muttered, "Don't get used to this. I'm only letting it this time because right now, my priority is INSIGHT rather than your boyfriend. And I could do without your constant whining and tantrums about the said boyfriend."

"He's not my boyfriend."

"Could have fooled me," she muttered back, "but honestly, if you and Barnes had an ideal American romantic couple life in Brooklyn all those decades ago, in secret, I'm not the one to judge. Pretty sure no one on the team will either. That would explain why you want to save him so bad. Live the rest of your life with the man you love after saving him in the most Hollywood way." she paused thinking for a second, "Actually that would also explain your lack of interest in women."

"He's not my boyfriend. I'm not gay. And I like women."

She looked at him and smiled softly, "I know the times have changed, and there is still some lingering homophobia, but it's okay. You are an avenger." she looked back at the scenery, "Hardly anyone will touch you."

"For the last time. I'm straight. I loved Bucky, yes, but it was just as a friend. K-Kinda the way you love Mia."

Rose looked at him, dead serious, as she tucked some fringes behind her ear, "You do know that Mia and I would date each other if Ron wasn't in the picture, right?"

Steve blinked, "You are not gay. You said it yourself."

"Well, you don't have to be sexually attracted to someone to fall in love with them." she shrugged and looked in front

It was a good thing that Steve was a clueless idiot to whom any kind of bullshit could be fed if did correctly and convincingly. Which also made him a little vulnerable. How was this man trusted a group of weirdos and the job of safekeeping the world security?

Decade change, right. though that doesn't make up for much of it.

"I love Bucky. I'm not in love with him"

Rose just smirked and she knew Steve saw that look because he pretty loudly rolled his eyes.

"We are on a mission here,"

"Yet you are wasting your time convincing of me something that is a lie."

Steve took a deep breath, "Get your suit. We need to gear up."

"What about yours? that dark blue leathery one?"

"Had to ditch it while running."

"What now?" she asked

What Steve told her actually took her off guard.

"Smithsonian, huh? That's it," She muttered, "you've gone senile."

"You have a better option, I'm all ears."

Rose pressed her lips and took a breath before replying, "I was spending some of my free time updating the suits of the team. Yours is almost ready. Nat and Clint's still need work. I was saving it for Thanksgiving, or Christmas, hell even your birthday, but...thanks for ruining the gift."

"You made me a suit?"

Rose rolled her eyes, "Try to keep up here, Rogers. Can't afford to lag off. Yes, yes I did."

"It is not in some atrocious color is it?"

Rose looked at him in the calmest offended look she could, "Unless you consider black atrocious. I swear to God, sometimes it's like you don't even know me. "

"Black?"

"With white, blue, and red accents. It's a stealth suit. Not your main regular suit."

"Didn't know you made superhero suits."

She looked back at the lake, "Nick asked me to make a stealth line for the team. Dad refused to change. Mine's already black. Hulk...is not stealth material. That leaves me with you three. I started working on it last month."

"How soon do we leave?"

"You are asking me?" she raised a brow

Steve took a breath, "I might not be in the best position to lead right now. And I've been told you've experience with that."

Rose snorted. Fuck you, Nat!

"I need an hour around to finish tinkering with the suit. And Sam's wings also need a slight upgrade. they've been collecting dust for a while. and we all need some rest and shut-eye to recharge our batteries." she looked back at him, "Before the dawn breaks. We need to be at triskelion as soon as we could."

"Before the dawn breaks," Steve nodded

Hey people. Good to be back.

I got a little time off so I thought why not update my two currently running stories. Here ya go. Online college life is still a bit torturous so, again, there'll be some time before I post the update.

You know the drill.
