When George and Rose returned, Clint was on a Con-call with the team.
"She's here," he announced when he saw them enter. "Others," he muttered and extended the phone in her direction.
"Hey," she smiled
"So? how did it go? Did they agree?" Bruce asked
"Actually they did, yeah. There were some issues but I handled them."
"Handled them, as in?" Nat asked
"A couple of white lies." George piped in, "Nothing too harmful."
"Are you guys sure about it?" Steve asked
"One hundred percent, Captain." George chuckled, "Now if you'll excuse me."
"That's good news. Congratulations." Thor's grin was quite audible.
"Thank you." Rose smiled
"So now what?" Clint asked
"Now we wait. They are gonna appoint a liaison. And if it's the same guy I suggested, we can relax a little about the UN meeting."
"Should we ask?" Bruce asked
"I would suggest otherwise." she chuckled, "and no, he's not my ex-boyfriend or anything."
"That's a relief." Nat joked
"I bet. where's Dad?"
"Dinner date with your lovely COO."
"that's nice for them both."
"you know, if we didn't know any better, we'd've thought that Tony actually enjoys your absence," Bruce chuckled
"Trust me, he does. but after a couple of days, he doesn't. It's short-lived."
"Figured since you never moved out of your father's house," Clint added
"I didn't move out for a whole other reason that has nothing to do with whatever the fuck you are implying."
Suddenly both their attention was grabbed by Laura who signed them that their dinner was ready. Sometimes knowing sign language was pretty cool.
"hey, we gotta go," Clint said
"Alright. Call us if something happens."
"Sure. Will do." Rose piped in as Clint hung up.
"I'm starving. What's for dinner?" Rose asked
Laura smiled, "I see Clint's been teaching you sign language."
Rose smiled, "As someone who has now decided to make him brand new hearing aids since SHIELD is dead, I had no other choice."
"That's good. They must be expensive." Laura softly said
"Hey, don't worry about the price tag. Let me worry about that." she smiled, "Now dinner."
"I made yours and Clint's favorite. At least, I tried."
"I'm sure it would be great." Rose smiled, "Where's George?"
They got the answer in the form of peals of laughter from the kids and one adult.
After dinner, Rose sat in her backyard deck with Teddy, stargazing.
"And that one is Sirius?" he guessed
"Yeah, it is." Rose smiled, running her hands through his black hair.
"And...which one is the Leo constellation?"
Rose was about to answer when,
"Hey,"
They both turned around to see Clint at the doorway.
"Sorry for disturbing the bonding time but Teddy, it's a school night. Laura is upstairs with Coop and Lila."
Teddy frowned and looked at Rose, "Can I stay up for a little more?"
"Sorry, Teddy bear, but not on a school night. I'm gonna be here tomorrow." Rose smiled
"You promise?"
She pressed her lips to his head, "I promise. Want me to tuck you in?"
"It's okay. Aunty Laura has nice bedtime stories."
"I have good bedtime stories too."
Clint chuckled and she shot him a quick glare.
"Yeah, but Aunty Laura's are better."
"I feel attacked," she muttered
Teddy smiled and kissed her cheek, "I still love you the most."
"Now I feel better."
He hopped off her lap.
"Good night, mum."
"Good night, baby"
As he passed by Clint, "Good night, Uncle Clint."
"Good night, Ted." he smiled, ruffling his hair.
They kept an eye on him until he started walking upstairs. Once they were sure he was going to his room, Clint turned the light off for the living room and turned on the night lamps.
Rose, turned back to look at the glimmering sky, took a deep breath and sighed, wrapping an arm around herself.
"Hey,"
She turned to her right as Clint sat down next to her.
"You okay?"
She didn't answer for a while, just pressed her lips. Then, she spoke. "Do you ever feel like you are living a...white lie?"
"As in?"
She pressed her shoulder blades and looked up, "A master archer and Avenger in front of the world but a loving and caring father and husband in secret."
Clint intertwined his hands, "I do sometimes. But somethings are the way they are for a reason."
Rose audibly gulped, "If things were different would you still do it?"
"Honestly, I don't know. Maybe. Maybe not."
She looked at him and softly smiled, "Laura and the kids are lucky to have you."
Clint smiled and looked down, plucking a blade of grass and twirling it, "I'm lucky to have them too." he looked at her, "They are lucky to have you too. Teddy, especially."
She chuckled, blinking. They sat there for a while just silent but the presence was of one was enough for another.
"I miss him." her voice was so low, Clint almost missed it.
Clint looked at her and noticed her glassy eyes. He wondered for a while who 'he' was and it took him a little more he'd like to realize who she was talking about.
"I wish things were different," she added
"I'm sure he's proud of who you've become today. Of Teddy too."
"That's one of the things that keep me going." she softly chuckled and looked up. Clint followed her lead and looked up at the starry sky. It was nights like these he realized why Rose liked here a lot more than at the tower.
He felt a weight and realized that she had rested her head on his shoulder. He reached and wrapped an arm around her and her eyes closed.
They sat there for a while. Clint slightly moved when he heard footsteps behind them. he craned his neck a little and Laura came into his vision.
She okay? she mouthed
Clint nodded. Laura nodded back and mouthed a good night.
Clint returned it as she went back in. Laura had to get up early, unlike them both for preparing the kids for school.
"You should go to bed," Rose muttered
"I like it out here. I don't get to see such scenery back in Manhattan."
He could tell she rolled her eyes without having to look at her. She raised her head and ran her hands over her face.
"Rose-"
"I have an early appointment with Hannah for a follow-up. I should get some sleep or she'll push more meds in my direction."
And the moment had ended for her.
She got up and straightened her clothes, "come on. It's not a good idea to have the Mrs. waiting."
Clint rolled his eyes and shoved her playfully which made her laugh.
Rose woke up quite early in the morning to help Laura with the kid's lunch. Andy wasn't getting any younger, so most of the kid's duties fell on Laura who loved doing it. But now that Rose was here, she lent a hand as well. Literally, just one hand.
"You are gonna be here in the evening?" Lila asked
"Yeah." Rose smiled, "Your dad and I leave tonight after y'all will go to bed."
The doorbell rang and the three adults exchanged looks.
"I'll see." Clint got up and went to answer.
"That means we can go to the movies this evening?" Cooper asked
"I'm sure we can, right?" Rose looked at Laura who nodded with a smile. Rose smiled back and looked at the kids, "Which one do you wanna see?"
"Oh, there's this really cool movie in theaters right now called Exodus: Gods and Kings. We can watch that." Teddy suggested
"And what is the rating?" Laura asked
"It's a U."
"We'll see about that, kid." Rose smiled, ruffling his hair.
Soon Clint entered the kitchen, followed by Ron.
"Hey, Ronniekins."
"How many times do I have to tell you not to call me that?" he chided but went to give her a hug
"hiya, Uncle Ronnie."
Ron glared at Rose, who just smiled innocently.
Ron turned to Teddy, "I'll let it slide this one time, Ted." he then smiled at Laura, "Hey."
"Hi." she smiled back, "How's everything?"
"Oh, decent. No broken bones, at least."
"Look, if you are gonna taunt me for something that was not my fault, I'm gonna smack you."
"Not her fault she says." Ron snorted
"Technically speaking, she didn't cause the whole HYDRA fiasco," Clint added
"Thank you!"
"I feel like your team did not get the memo that this girl over here lacks a very important quality required for survival, self-preservation."
"No, trust me, we figured it pretty early about her."
"Hello! I'm standing right here!"
Clint and Ron exchanged a look and chuckled while Rose frowned.
"Men," Laura muttered close to her and Rose chuckled, "Agreed."
"So, what brings you here today?" Clint asked
"George told me how bad she looked. And then I got to know that she had an appointment with Hannah today. So," he looked at rose, "I'm your babysitter of the day."
"You are n-"
"Why do you still need a babysitter, Aunty Rose?" Lila asked
"I don't need a babysitter, honey. I'm an adult." she turned back to Ron, "I don't need you to babysit me today. Or ever."
"As your older brother, I disagree."
"Wait you can do that?" Cooper asked Ron, "Disagree with your little sister because you are older?"
"No, you can't do that."
"Sometimes you can."
"Why would you do that?"
"Come on, kids. Let the adults talk. Time for school."
And Laura shepherded them out of the kitchen.
"Go put on your shoes. I'll be out in a minute." she turned to others, "I'll be back in a few."
"Take your time, babe. But try to be back soon. This is entertaining."
Laura chuckled and left.
Clint turned back to see a look on both their faces.
"What?" he asked, sipping on his coffee
Ron gave him a look and turned back to Rose, "You are practically handicapped with one arm in a thick plaster."
"I have magic."
"Which you are not allowed to use."
"I'm fine."
"Why can't you just admit that a little help would be bloody nice?"
Rose tilted her head, "Why did you take an off from work just to chaperon me around?"
"I have accumulated quite a few paid leaves in my three years. I can afford a day off. Paid."
She sighed, "Why did George put you up to this?"
"Actually, it was Mum who put me up to this."
"Mum?"
"Uh-huh. Your video call with Mum, Dad, and Ginny got them worried. And then yesterday George wa- did you not check the group chat?"
Rose frowned and reached for her phone and checked her Whatsapp.
"I muted all my chats," she grumbled, noticing about 500 messages in total.
"Very good."
"Even the team group chat?" Clint asked
Rose just nodded and went on to unmute them all. She raised a brow.
"What is it?" Ron asked
"Gabby messaged me."
"Who's Gabby?"
"Fleur's sister," Ron answered
"And Aunt Jeanette." she looked up, "Uncle Rhodey's sister."
"It's been a long time since you spoke to Jeanette," Ron noted
"Yeah, Rhodey must have told her about me. I'll call them later." she looked at Ron, "Are we still doing it?"
"You bet."
She sighed, "Fine. Let me change."
"Is it always this bad?"
"Trust me, it sometimes gets worse."
"You recovered pretty quick," Hannah noted, seeing the recent test results.
"5 weeks of plaster isn't quick, Han."
"Oh considering the way you were when I saw you at the hospital in Washington DC, I'd say otherwise." she scribbled something in her file, "Here are the new meds. They should fasten the healing. You can start using basic magic again. Nothing too strenuous or tiring. Your body is healed almost 80%. So, wait till it gets to 100. And for the love of Merlin and Magic, please stay out of trouble."
"I'll try my best."
"You can try harder, you know."
Rose snorted and shrugged.
"Think you can make another visit in two weeks for a follow-up?"
"I'm not sure. With everything going on."
Hannah nodded, "In case you couldn't, let me know and I'll refer another healer in the States to you and share my file with them. And if your arm is better in the next two weeks, you can bid the plaster goodbye. Unless of course, you plan o breaking more bones in near future."
Rose rolled her eyes, "Thanks."
"You are very much welcome."
They got the prescribed medicines from the hospital's apothecary after which they made their way to Diagon Alley for lunch.
"Lunch is on me." Ron said the moment sat down, "Congratulations for yesterday."
Rose smiled, "Thanks."
"So...who's going to be the liaison?"
"I don't know. But I have made a suggestion and that should make things a little easy."
"Who did you suggest?"
Rose pressed her lips and gave him a look.
"Really? P-"
"Yeah."
Ron sighed, "Of all the people you could have chosen? I wouldn't even have minded if you had suggested Malfoy."
"It's not tha- Wait! You are okay with Malfoy?"
"No. But between those two, I'd choose the lesser of the two evils. In recent times, Malfoy has been a rather...changed man. I don't know if it was your influence or Teddy's presence or whatsoever. But he has changed, I cannot deny that."
"I'm glad you are having an open mind. but on my suggestion, look, a pureblood has worked with the ministry and knows politics. The only downside of the whole thing is...dislike for me. Which shouldn't be a major priority over the safety of the whole fucking planet."
"Let's hope that that thought process is mutual."
Their orders were placed and they thanked the waiters as they began to eat.
"Actually there's another reason as to why I wanted to come today with you."
"I'm listening."
Ron took a deep breath and pulled out his phone, did something, and showed it to her, "Which one do you think?"
He winced when she dropped her fork and her eyes and mouth widened.
"Rose! Close your bloody mouth!"
She did and gulped. She looked at the pictures, then at Ron, then at the pictures, and then back at Ron. "These are engagement rings."
"Yes."
"You are gonna propose to Mia?!"
"Shhhh! Keep it down!"
"Sorry,"
"And yes, I'm going to propose to her. Now, which ring do you think I should pick?"
Rose gave him a confused look.
"You are my sister figure and Mia's best friend. who else was I supposed to ask advice from?"
"Fair point," she muttered, wiping her mouth with a napkin and taking his phone.
"That's the second engagement coming my way."
"Who's the first?"
"Brittany got proposed about a week ago."
"Good for her. That just leaves Charlie, you, and Gin."
"You know better than on ask that of Charlie and me ." Rose hummed. "Anything from Ginny?"
"Oh, she's dodging these questions like bloody bludgers. Every time mum tries to bring it up, she puts it down with Quidditch this, Quidditch that."
"Wait, she hasn't dated anyone since Dean?"
"No, she did." Ron frowned, "She dated this bloke from this German Quidditch team, I believe, was it..."
"She dated someone from Heidelberg Harriers?"
"I guess that was the one, but they broke up pretty soon."
"Didn't Holyhead Harpies beat Heidelberg Harriers in the Quarter-final or something?"
"Oh, they did, yes. I think that was the reason they broke up."
"What did she say?"
"Busy schedules."
Rose nodded, "And she hasn't dated anyone yet?"
"not that we are aware of."
"And is she focusing more on her career as a professional quidditch player?"
"You know how obsessed she is,"
"And she's working hard."
"Too hard, according to Mum and Dad." he looked at her, "Where are you leading this?"
"You do realize she's not the only one who puts their professional life in front of their love life, right?"
Ron leaned back, "If you are talking about yourself-"
"I am."
"At least you..."
"At least I what?
Ron sighed and leaned forward, "At least you are active on the field."
"No, I'm not."
"When was the last relationship you had?"
Rose looked up, thinking. "I had a one-nighter right before the HYDRA thing."
"A proper, decent romantic relationship?"
Rose shifted on her seat and played with her food, thinking for a solid five minutes.
"I don't think I've had a proper relationship in about a year and a half or something." she tilted her head, furrowing her brows, "Actually I haven't had a proper relationship since I joined the Avengers."
"Well, at least you haven't become a saint."
"Very funny"
Ron chuckled, "So, Ginny."
"Ron, let her be. She's what? 22? She's still young. If she wants to focus on her career, let her. If anyone gets to decide when she gets to settle down, it should be her."
"You gonna follow the same?"
"Maybe, maybe not." she chewed on her food, eyes wandering for a minute before she looked back at Ron, "I should get in a relationship. It's been quite some time. Or at least get laid. It's been almost 6 weeks."
"Can we not talk about your libido but about the ring?"
"Right. the ring." Rose scrolled up and the shortlisted rings before she chose one and handed his phone back to him.
"It's simple. Minimalistic. and not very glitzy glammy. Mia will love it."
It was rather a simple rose gold band with a thin pavement of diamonds and a crown round cut diamond.
"you sure about this?"
"Definitely. I know my best friend."
Ron nodded, "Now wedding ring, which o-"
"Ron, propose her first. Cross the wedding ring bridge after she says yes. I know she will but take some time. You don't have to get everything right now."
"right. okay."
Rose nodded, "speaking of which, when are you gonna ask her?"
"Next month. It's her birthday so..."
"Look at you getting all romantic on her birthday." she chuckled
Ron rolled his eyes, "I'm saying this now. I love Mia but I swear to god, you are gonna stand next to me, as my best woman. Okay? I said it first."
"Then who's gonna be Mia's Maid of Honor?"
"Ginny! Or she can ask her cousin. I don't know. But I said it first and you are not gonna back out."
"I never said yes to that, though."
Ron took a deep breath, "Will you be my best woman at my upcoming wedding?"
Rose chuckled, shaking her head, "Of course, you dumbass. But you gotta ask her the question."
"I will do that."
"and you won't pass out?"
"I'm not George."
"sure..."
Steve sighed, making a note and then moving on to the next page.
"How many of these do you have?" Nat asked, coming to sit next to him.
"I don't know. Rose handed me a whole carton of these. I never counted."
She handed him a can of beer, which he happily accepted.
"How's work?" he asked
"I'm starting to see why Rose asked me to cover for Brittany."
"Work's that much, huh?"
Nat leaned back, "to be honest, pay is good for the work. Even if the work sometimes makes me wanna pull my hair."
Steve chuckled, "Did something interesting happen?"
"Something interesting happened?" Bruce asked, walking in and sitting on the sofa, "Where?"
"I wouldn't call it interesting." Nat noted, "Beer?"
"I'm good. thanks."
"So?" Steve asked
"There's this guy in R&D. Quentin Beck. He had some new crazy project in hand, even Rose seemed interested in it, but unfortunately with the current cutbacks, she isn't able to fund his project. She told him that like a week and a half or something ago. He's called me three times since yesterday asking the status of his funding request."
"Did Rose promise to fund his project or something?" Bruce asked
"No. She rejected it for the time being. She said she'll approve it the day she has sufficient funds."
"Did you tell him she's not here?" Steve asked
"Oh, I did. Which is why I think he kept on calling. I told him she's on sick leave. then he asked when she'd return. And he asked me to leak some stuff about tomorrow's budget meeting to see if we can fit him somewhere. I legally cannot say a word."
"You should tell Tony about it."
"I did. He spoke to Beck today. I don't think Beck was happy about it because, unlike Rose, Tony was rather blunt about it."
"speaking of Rose, when are she and Clint returning?" Bruce asked
"I think they leave tonight," Steve answered
Nat nodded with a hum, "Tomorrow's the budget meeting. No way is she gonna miss that."
Steve nodded, continuing scribbling.
"You get any breakthrough with your friend?" Bruce asked
"I don't if it is a breakthrough or not. I think he's starting to respond but it could very well be my wishful thinking."
"Have you tried any visual clues to trigger his memory?"
"Rose suggested that. JARVIS pulled up a bunch of pictures and I'm showing them to him, but..." Steve blew a raspberry
"Maybe try showing him some of your movies. Maybe a certain memory will act as the trigger." NAt suggested
"I think one of the movies had an interview by Peggy Carter," Bruce said
"It'd be on the internet, right?"
"Or you could one of the original CD versions."
"Where will I find that?"
"Tony or Rose should know. I think they have a copy or two."
"Why would they have a copy of those movies? I thought they hated my guts before everything."
Bruce snorted, "While that's debatable, Howard was kind of a big fan of yours."
"That explains it," Natasha quipped
"I guess."
Rose looked up when she heard the door open softly and Clint's face reflected the dim lights from downstairs.
He jerked his head and she exhaled, nodding. Clint nodded and pulled back, closing the door with him. Rose looked down at Teddy, who was using her lap as a pillow. She smiled and carefully placed him on the bed, tucked him, kissed him, and caressed his head.
"I love you, Teddy Bear. Sweet dreams, baby."
Teddy mumbled something in sleep as he turned and buried deeper into the bed.
She got up and with one final look around the room, walked out.
Laura and Andy were waiting downstairs with Clint.
She smiled and picked her bag.
"Be careful, you two. Try not to get in too much trouble. Especially you, young lady."
Rose bit her tongue and lowered her head, "Of course, Andy."
After saying their final goodbyes, the two left for the airport.
They reached just in time and their boarding was to start in about 30 minutes. Clint had decided to get some cold drink while she waited till their flight was ready.
And that was when her phone rang. It was times like these she hated not having made a transportable version of JARVIS or NYX. She should work on it once she gets back.
The lack of caller ID made her a bit skeptical, but then again, not many people had her personal number.
"Hello?"
"Your British accent sounds sexy."
She leaned back with a frown, "Did I not tell you to call me on my burner?"
"You did. You did. I admit it. But I called your burner. You didn't answer. So I had no other option."
She pressed her lips. Her burner was in Manhattan. she should have brought it with her,
"What is this call about? Get to point."
"Oh, it is about your old pal. HYDRA."
"I told you to stay out of trouble."
"I was staying out of trouble. I was minding my own fucking business, you know, for once. Kinda boring, would not suggest doing so. Do you know how interesting it is to poke into other people's business? You get to know all the drama, all the highs, and lo-"
"Just to the fucking point."
"Right. Like I was saying, I was minding my own business, the usual one anyway. When one of the midgets said a name that rang a bell for me. Strucker. I realized you might recognize the name."
She took a deep breath and looked around, Clint was still yet to come.
"What about Strucker?"
"That he's planning something for getting his hands on the Asset again."
Rose straightened. It was bad news. Very bad news.
"You really thought that they'd lose their biggest weapon and just forget about it. Oh no, princess. They are coming for him."
"When?"
"Uh-uh-uh. I can't disclose everything, sweetheart. It took me a bit of hard work to get this."
Rose took a deep breath and pinched her nose-bridge. "Name it."
"Oh, I don't want money this time. I have quite enough."
"With drug dealing?"
"That's kinda a secret business but it ain't the only one. But I want something else."
"What do you want?"
"Meet me where we used to. Tomorrow 10 PM."
"Okay."
And the line hung up.
She looked at the phone screen as she deleted the call log and ran a hand through her hair.
What were they to do now? Avengers was kind of spread thin. They had no legal nor political support whatsoever.
"You know for a VIP waiting room, they still make you wait long for your order."
She looked up at Clint, thinking whether she should tell him or not.
"what's wrong?"
She looked at him and licked her lips before biting them. He should know. So do others. While she will not mourn the loss of Barnes, she would rather he be with them than go back to HYDRA. He was HYDRA's one of the biggest guns. They had to be ready.
"Rose?"
"HYDRA's gonna attack us,"
Clint stopped mid-drink. "What?"
"They are gonna come for Barnes."
"How did y-"
Rose tilted her head ad gave him a look.
Clint leaned back, "I don't know who your source is but they are doing some damn good job." he took another deep breath, "when?"
"I don't know."
"You don't know?"
"Look, they are not like other sources. They...need compensation for information."
Clint licked his lips and ran a hand through his short blonde hair, "How much money are we talking?"
"Let me worry about that. I'll handle them. We have to do something. The tower cannot be attacked."
"Tower also gives us a vanta-"
"Clint there are gonna be tons of civis. 60 floors out of 93 are office spaces."
"fuck it!" Clint took a deep breath, "Let's call them an-"
"No."
"Why?"
"They aren't gonna attack now or tomorrow. It's better if we tell 'em in person."
"We can give them a heads up."
"And let them run around like chickens? This would create chaos and that might be something HYDRA could be counting."
She got up, "Let me see if we can hurry up back." and she left.
Their pilot was understanding but there was so much he could do. There were no shortcuts in the air. And it did take them about 14 hours and a thirty-minute drive back to the tower.
It was about 9 AM New York time when they reached.
"Hey, guys," Steve greeted them as they walked in, "Breakfast."
"We have a little problem," Clint answered
"What is it?" Steve frowned
"where are others?" Rose asked
"Thor's in his room and Bruce in his lab. Nat and Tony are at work. What's going on?"
Rose and Clint exchanged a look.
"It's HYDRA."
Elsewhere,
"Do your worst! I'm not telling you anything."
"Ah, ah, ah. I've got so many ways. You are going to tell me what I want to know."
They kneeled and put the gun under the other guy's chin.
"Now. What is exactly HYDRA planning?"
"Why do you care?" he gulped
"See, the thing is I don't. But this lovely princess I sometimes work for, surely does. And let me just tell you her rewards are...muah!"
"So you are doing this to get laid? I can guarantee you don't need to do that."
"I know. And really? How cheap and disgusting are you? I do not need that from her. Yuck! You should clean that gutter head with Lysol." They turned, "By the way, Lysol did not sponsor me to say this. Though I wish they did."
"Wha-! Who are you ta-!"
They pressed the gun further.
"HYDRA, start talking."
The man stared at them. And before they could act, the man a knife and stabbed them. They looked at the knife and then back at him.
"Now, that, you see, was not a smart thing to do. When people are asking you to be cooperative. You are supposed to be cooperative. Not go stabbing them." he tilted his head, "Bobby, Bobby, Bobby. I'm highly disappointed in you." and that, the trigger was pulled.
They got up and wiped off the blood and pulled out the knife.
"Ouch! that hurt! Oh well." they pulled out their phone and called a number, "Hey buddy, wanna get dinner?...No. You see, he wasn't being cooperative...I know, I know. But I already shot him! What do you want me to do? Undead him?... Oh, I'll find a new one. There're no production issues so I'm sure I'll find a new one pretty soon before tomorrow...I'll be there in 15 minutes. Heat the food for me, please. Thank you. You are a darling."
They hung up and looked back at the man they had just shot, "You should have told me. Well," they shrugged, "each to their own."
A little update. College is starting to wear me down so...the next update might be a little later than usual.
Also, is it too much to ask for some good stuff? Something good that happened to you guys that you'd like to share or something good in general? I'm having a bit of a rough week and I could really use a smile.
I only got 2 replies for the prequel?!
Edit: Venquine1990, that's awesome! Congratulations
I wish I could reply to comments here the way it is in AO3
