Do you ever feel like nothing you do matters? You leave footprints on the beach and tomorrow they're gone like it's just today over again.

Jake smiled, remembering that day… the day everything in his life changed, and now he, himself, was on a boat aided by the Peculiars heading who knows where, all in search of a new home—still he felt discouraged, he should have told his mother and father where he was going. Still, it was far too late now and he refused to dwell on it. For the first time, he felt free, free to make his own decision, free to continue his grandfather's work and just—be himself.

All was peaceful, that was until… "Head up everyone, we're approaching something called The Bermuda Triangle!"

Jake came running up the stairs, emerging from below deck. "Did I hear that correctly; I thought I heard Fiona say that we're heading toward The Bermuda Triangle?"

"Yes, unfortunately, you heard right Jake" Emma confessed. "Have you heard of it?"

"Yes, unfortunately, I have and according to its lore it's an unpredictable place—really anything could happen, so… be prepared to face certain doom"

"You mean there's nothing we can do?" Olive asked sweetly, emerging from behind Emma.

"No, we're stuck, unfortunately… all we can do is is sit back and hope for the best" just then, a green fog-like mist seemed to roll in blocking everyone's view- so much so that they didn't see it before it was too late. For when the fog cleared it only revealed more horror for the children to endure, a violent, swirling whirlpool was waiting eagerly to engulf the ship, it measured, Jake, guessed about 8-10 feet in length, or at least that was its circumference. A big, old thing it was… "Try to steer around it!" he ordered.

"Aye, Aye" he heard Fiona say, Emma ran over to aid if need, yet no matter how much they tried they soon found themselves engulfed in its mighty jaws, spinning and rocking the ship wildly until eventually, it sucked the whole ship down in one dig swift slurp.

When they finally popped out the other side, they were surprised to find the blueish grey sky was gone instead it had been replaced with the calmness of night.

"Where are we?" Olive asked,

"Jake, do you know this place?" Emma asked.

"No, to my knowledge there's no loop entrance at The Bermuda Triangle"

"Jake, I think you'd better come look at this"

"Sure thing, Enoch" he rushed to the side of the ship.

"Your right, it has changed" instead of the dark blue of the river, all that stood before him was a blackened lake.

"I don't know where we are, or how … unless there's a hidden loop entrance here that's been dormant… but, look—there's a castle; I'm sure whatever this is they can help us" Jake ran to collect Miss Peregrine from below deck as the rest of the children got off of the barnacle-encrusted ship; running of Miss Peregrine's room he said, "Come on Miss P." holding his arm in sort of a perch-like fashion… the bird reluctantly shook her head, she was not about to break her oath a second time. Instead, she flew down towards a nearby cage that jake and the gang had swiped before they had left Mr. Buran and the rest of the Hollows in Blackpool.

"Okay then, Miss P. Let's go," he said, latching the cage once she was safely secure inside; lifting the cage up by its handle he walked outside to eagerly meet up with the rest of the children.

"Okay, let's get a move on then" Jake ordered, soundly weirdly like Miss Peregrine—he suspected that the responsibility was beginning to weigh on him.

Moving slowly but swiftly they moved along the dark paved yet tar-filled road with only a mere flash of light from Jake's camera phone the guide them… after all, since this wasn't necessarily to be a loop entrance or not, phones worked… apparently.

The whole pathway up to the place seemed to twist and turn; finally, they could see a door… running, as their hopes began to lift. When they got close enough, all the peculiar children stop, stepping to one side they managed a small path for Jake, whom gratefully went through it and straight up to the door; those big, brown doors looked so daunting but yet the children still held out hope that whomever was inside could help them.

Nervously, Jake stood and with a shaky hand, knocked three times on the big wooden door.

A hush came over them, the door seemingly opening by itself. "Hello?" a mysterious voice answered.

"Ummm…uh—uh…" Jake stumbled over his words. Too intimidated by the burly man but yet somehow found his voice. "Hello sir, and- and who might you be?"

"Professor Rubeus Hagrid, at your service… sorry, for the scare; The headmaster of this place be a… out for the evening, so I'm fillin' in for him until he be back—eh, oi—you fellas okay?"

"Oh sir, I assure you we're fine—just a little lost I'd guess"

"You can come in if you like?"

"Thanks, mister" Emma butted in. "Where are we exactly?"

"Well, er Hogwarts—the finest School of Witchcraft and Wizardry there is" He smiled gently, as he ushered them inside.
