The food is piping hot on their plates, but that doesn't matter at the moment. It's as if the world has gone still, and all Zeno can see is Kaya. Her eyes are the most beautiful shade of brown, like the lively bark on trees that keep them steady and allow them the chance to thrive, like the most fertile ground that Kaya gardens, and Zeno decides that brown is the color of life. He also decides that brown is his favorite color from the way it glimmers so beautifully in Kaya's eyes, from the way it just flows in her hair. Kaya is beautifully earthy, and Zeno is drawn to her, so therefore life is written and over woven into everything that Kaya is.

And right now, she's looking into his blue eyes as if she can see the sea within them, beautifully enchanting, ever deep, or perhaps the stars that light up the night sky. She is earth, and Zeno is sky. And together, they are one beautiful, bigger than life being.

And finally, Zeno's lips pull up into a brilliantly wide smile. Because with Kaya, he is bursting at the seams and so breathtakingly in love.

And Kaya's lips pull up in reply, and she looks more beautiful than any flower Zeno has ever seen, more magnificent than the most royal of robes. She is gorgeous, sitting here across from him, holding a plate carefully, so it doesn't burn her.

And Zeno feels just that burst of joy, like a 'yay,' building up within him, a waterfall or a sunrise built only of the best and brightest of joys. And then, Kaya laughs, unable to help herself, so Zeno joins in.

They fill Kaya's little hut with the sound of laughter, so much more vibrant than the steam that floats up from their food, and it's together, that they are always. Zeno's pretty sure that Kaya invented this little kind of happiness, because it flows from every moment with her.

And Zeno and Kaya just know that today is one of the best days ever, because they are together and happy and laughing and smiling so wide, and so very, very in love with each other.
