"Good morning viewers! I'm Naruto Uzumaki and this is the Uzumaki Ranch!" Naruto spread his arms wide. The reporter and camera man stood in front of him as he welcomed them at the front gate of the ranch.

"Good morning ." Emma Stevenson said. The top reporter for KBS-TV. "Is the missus around?" The reporter asked. Her red power suit fitted her form nicely.

"Nope." He smiled. "Ma's on vacation." His cheerfulness deflected her real question.

Naruto heard the cameraman snort.

"Well good for her. She deserves it." She adjusted her smile. "Well, we're here to see you showcase your new class. You've been quite a catch as an Equestrian coach." Naruto began to lead the two to the back of the ranch. Some of the horses we're roaming around. "I used to watch you compete as a kid when being a horse girl was taboo." She chuckled.

"Are you saying you're not a horse girl anymore?" He rested his hand on his heart. "That would make me sad to hear, Emma." He said with demure undertones.

She playfully pushed his shoulders. "Are you trying to get your rabid fans to come after me?"

Naruto grew up well known in the Equestrian community. It wasn't until he took over public relations for their business that he got his own fanbase. Their YouTube, and Instagram have old and new videos of him doing tricks and giving lessons. The most popular video is him changing Delores' horseshoes shirtless. Shukaku recorded him without his knowledge then sent him the video, telling him to post it.

Sasuke and him had broken up beforehand.

The aftermath was having teenagers describe in detail how his v-cut looked when they saw him around town. The first time it happened, he was in the aisle buying dog food with seven month old Menma on his chest.

And money.

And sponsorships. Sasuke guided him in the new realm of being a brand ambassador. Sasuke currently was the face of Gucci, and Fossil.

He was the face of John Deere.

"Never, Emma, but I have a sweet spot for girls who know how to groom a mare." He winked.

Emma poked his chest with her microphone. "Go on, big shot." Pulling her mic back, she waves it in the direction of the horses. "Make my teenage dream come true."

Naruto smiled, with a whistle, a white horse with brown spots galloped over to him. They pushed their nose into his face, snorting and licking his nose. Naruto took hold of their face, directing it away from him. "This is Peter. He's Delores' son."

"You still have her?!" She thrust the mic into his face. "At 16, I remember her biting a hole into your jacket during the award ceremony before knocking your helmet off. She wouldn't stay still."

Naruto absentmindedly petted Peter's head. "I do. She's still my favorite." He said proudly.

"Amazing." She turned to Peter. "Can I touch him?"

"Yes, yes of course. I will be using him to teach the children." Naruto held onto the back of the horse's neck.

She reached forward, touching the top of his head. Tilting the mic away from her mouth. "Do you do one-on-one lessons, Naruto?" She whispered.

Naruto stroked the loose horse hairs. "No."

She humed. "Let me know if you change your mind." Tilting the mic back up. "What is the starting age group of your lessons?" Quickly returning to her reporter voice.

"Age five." He said. "We currently have a sign up special for families of four."

"Have you started training your son?" She said in jest. The whole community knew Menma's age.

"He's always trying to ride our old dog, Kyuubi. So if he can succeed with that, I'll consider him a prodigy." He laughed.

The cameraman smiled.

With one more caress, she removed her hand from Peter. Hand on her hip, she turned to the camera, "I think it's time for Naruto here to show us that he's still a champion, even at age 31!"

The following two hours, Naruto ran through old routines on the practice course behind the sheep pen.

"So." He begins. Naruto is standing on the side of their news car with Emma. The cameraman is in the back putting the equipment away. "When will this be out?"

Emma leans back against the car door. She jerks her hand toward the cameraman. "Whenever he edits it." She says. Squinting her eyes in thought. "I'd say around this evening news, it will be ready."

It was 9am.

Naruto nods to himself. His hands rest in the pockets of his denim jeans. "It was fun." He admits. He was skeptical of letting the media on their property. They could spin it anyway they wanted to, something Sasuke drilled into his head.

Emma smirks. "It was." She took a cigarette out of her pocket. She lifted an eyebrow in offering.

Naruto declines.

Lighting it up. "Do you think you'll teach adults at some point?"

Naruto shook his head. "Kids are enough." He chuckled.

She agrees. "If you change your mind. Let me know." She opens up her car when the cameraman hops in the driver's seat. She blows her smoke out. "I mean it." Leaning her arm out of the window, she taps the excess off the cigarette. "Platonically." She emphasizes it with a tilt of her head. The car starts up. "I know you're not looking. I watch your videos too, and Sasuke still has your heart."

Naruto finds no reason to deny it.

She smiles. "Let's go, Robertson." She waves goodbye to Naruto.

Sasuke and Kakashi stare at the outfit that Sasuke has to wear on the runway. The cape touches the floor, sparkles and gemstones line the words on the back. The color is a bright powdered blue with rainbow bats stitched on the vest.

The suit is a sight.

"Is this my only outfit?" Asked Sasuke. They've been there for three hours. He spent the last hour and half in hair and makeup while the show was going on. Kakashi had spent the time getting him up to date on his role in the show tonight.

He would be closing it.

Kakashi was staring at his phone.

"Kakashi?" They were standing in his designated spot backstage.

Kakashi pauses his hand, lifting his head to look at Sasuke. "Yeah, yeah. Um-." He looks around, landing his gaze on the security team at the end of the hallway. "I'll be right back, Sasuke." Kakashi walks away without looking at him.

Sasuke rolls his eyes, deciding to sit down on a pallet in front of his outfit. He already sent a picture of his makeup to Itachi, who had Menma tonight.

Since he picked up Menma from Naruto two days ago, he had installed a camera at his front door. No new packages have shown up, neither has that stranger. All evidence of the man's gift was being kept in the basement. If this becomes more than a one time thing, he'll say something.

He sees Kakashi talking to the security guard before they both walk out. He trusts Kakashi will tell him what's going on when he comes back. In the very short time Kakashi has been his new manager, the older man has been entertaining to observe. Yesterday, he brought two of his dogs to a contract renegotiation with Fossil, and the gray haired man was wearing a matching vest with his dogs. An hour later his husband came by to pick the dogs up before Sasuke and he went to a community event.

They weren't there long. He was grateful to have the excuse of getting up early, so he wasn't constantly hit on by Alphas.

He already had an Alpha.

…..sort of.

Watching Kakashi and his husband interact made him think maybe it was time to try again. Their breakup was mutual. He felt that the way they started wasn't stable for the long term, and Naruto asked him out the moment he was told Sasuke was pregnant.

Looking back, he realized it was hormones and insecurities. He hasn't dated anyone since.

His inner Omega never allowed him to. Naruto was always there, and helpful. Never pushing Sasuke's boundaries.

But farm living as a model?

Crazy talk.

"Sasuke."

Looking up, Kakashi returned. "Yes?"

Kakashi offered his hand to Sasuke. Sasuke took it, allowing himself to be pulled upright. "We need to leave."

Sasuke yanked his hand from Kakashi's grip. "You can't be serious?"

Kakashi put his hands on his coat pocket. Looking around. "Please." He emphasized. "I'll explain later, but we need to leave now." He grabbed Sasuke's elbow.

Sasuke pulled his arm out of Kakashi's reach. "No." He was starting to get angry. "I want to finish the show." He held his arm out toward the wall separating the stage and then. "I've been in hair and makeup, I'm hungry and I am getting paid for this. I refuse to ruin my relationship with this brand."

"The show's coordinator knows." He huffed. "You'll still get paid. I made sure of that because this is out of your control." He held his hand out again. "Now please. I want you to be safe. So let's go."

"Why am I not safe?"

In frustration, Kakashi grabbed his elbow and guided them into a corner behind Sasuke's costume. Kakashi pulls his phone out, handing it to Sasuke. "Here." He opens up his email. "Someone keeps sending messages to meet you. They are in the crowd somewhere. They've seen you because in the email, they were able to describe the makeup that you are currently wearing."

Sasuke scrolls through the emails. Kakashi was right, but how? He's been around professionals all day.

"It's probably my stalker." He says more casually than he Kakashi likes.

"Sasuke." He takes his phone back. "When did this start? Why didn't you say anything?"

"I've been busy, and it only has happened once so far." He holds himself. Feeling uncomfortable.

Kakashi looks like he wants to comfort him. He is given an awkward shoulder pat of reassurance. "Okay, okay. I got this. I will keep you safe." He says. "When I was attacked in my youth no one protected me. I refuse to let the same happen to you."

Sasuke bits the inside of his lip. "Thanks."

With another pat, he returned his hand to his side. "When did this start?"

Sasuke really wants his makeup off. "Two, three days ago. A man named Stanley came to my door, didn't say anything but gave me roses and a card."

"Do you still have it?"

He nodded. "He wants to date me. Be an Alpha to me and Menma."

Kakashi stays silent.

"Kakashi?" He asked with confusion.

"Give me your keys."

"What? Why?"

"You're not going back home, and I need to get the evidence. I'm going to talk with Itachi about how to handle this."

Kakashi grabs his elbow successfully this time. Sasuke and him walk out of the backstage toward the backdoor.

Outside, the security team is surrounding a small black car with tinted windows. Kakashi opens the door. "Get in."

Sasuke does and Kakashi goes to the other side. Up in the driver's seat is a man with brown hair.

Unsure if he should speak. "Hello."

The man grunts back.

"That's my friend, Yamato. He's doing me a favor."

The car drives off.

"Where are we going since I can't go home? And Menma, I need to call Itachi."

"Already done." No other words are given.

The hunger pains are coming back. "Then where the fuck are we going?"

"Sasuke, Sasuke." A playful tone for a man who just had Sasuke fearing for his life. "Think about it. Who has enough space for you, and your son to be safe at?"

"My parents." The Uchiha estate was massive. Like 30% of his family lives there.

"Too obvious."

"I'm hungry."

"Yamato, stop through Chick Fil Le."

"Aren't they discriminatory of Omegas?" Asked Sasuke.

Kakashi shrugged. "I'll donate money to an Omega shelter in retaliation, but right now." He turns to Sasuke. "I want their chicken."

15 minutes later, they're rolling through a drive-through, and 30 minutes after that, they're pulled up to a familiar ranch.

With barbecue sauce on his lip, and smeared makeup. "You can't be serious."

The gates open without any issue, and the closer they get, he sees Menma in his pajamas with Minato, Kyuubi and Naruto waiting for him on the porch.

"Itachi explained everything to them. Guess he was already visiting when I called to inform him of the situation." Kakashi explains. He gets out of the car first, going around to introduce himself. Sasuke opens his door as well, watching his son run down the stairs and into his legs.

"Mama." Sasuke absentmindedly pats his son's head. His focus is on Naruto's posture as Minato stands next to him talking with Kakashi. Naruto looks mad. Doesn't he know Kakashi has been helping him this whole time? Did Itachi not explain everything to him?

"Nar." He calls out.

The Alpha doesn't respond.

"Naruto."

Again.

Is Kakashi and Minato's conversation that interesting?

"Daddy."

Naruto's head wipes so fast in the direction of Menma's voice. He immediately comes over to them. "Yes son?"

"Mama wants you." He has a tight hold on Sasuke's pants. His cheek is resting on his thigh.

"Sasuke." He says softly. "How are you? I-I have the spare room ready for you." Naruto kicks the dirt. His shoulders are hunched.

"Bit scared." He admits. "But Kakashi feels I'll be most safe here."

His eyes widened. "He does?"

"Yes." He says. "I–" He begins. Looking away bashfully. He almost admitted that he does as well.

"You—."

"Sasuke." Kakashi interrupts behind them. Waving his arms wildly from up on the porch with Minato. "I have to go."

"I understand."

Walking down the stairs. He looks between Sasuke and Naruto, he pats Naruto's shoulder. "I'm an omega, big boy. A married one at that."

Naruto's face reddens.

Kakashi looks at Sasuke. "You feel safe here?"

He scoffs. "You know I do. Otherwise you wouldn't have picked it."

He thinks he sees a smile behind the mask. "Take the time to relax. I'll contact your upcoming appointments, and tell them it's a family issue."

Kakashi is going beyond the call of duty as a manager. He appreciates it. "Thank you." He says sincerely.

Kakashi nods. "I'll contact you whenever me and Itachi have dealt with it."

"You mean the cops?" Naruto questions.

"You're cute." Kakashi says dismissively. "I can deal with this quicker than a cop could. Also, I have an Uchiha helping me."

Naruto and Sasuke don't know how to take that.

"Bye, Scarecrow!" Menma says loudly when Kakashi opens the backdoor. "Tell your dogs I said hi."

"Will do."

Two weeks have passed since Kakashi dropped him off. Itachi stopped by a few times to bring him clothes.

Though, he's found himself bumming around in Naruto's clothes most of the time. Gaara pointed it out when Shukaku and he brought Delores back to the ranch.

Naruto cried. Hugging the horse. Menma copied him, hugging her leg.

When they were left alone in the barn, Gaara asked if they were back together.

"No." He vaguely explained his reason for being there.

"I see." One of the barn cats came up to Gaara, purring against his leg. "I saw you in Naruto's college hoodie and assumed."

At that point, he didn't know how unconsciously he had been acting on the ranch.

Naruto too. The Alpha will scent him first thing in the morning when they first lay eyes on each other. Then pulls back in shock whispering sorry. Sasuke didn't let him go one day. His own instincts are going haywire.

Kushina was back. She squeezed him hard in joy when she saw him and Menma on the property.

She held his face and told him he couldn't leave. Minato gently pulled her away from him with a smile saying to stop joking.

"Mama." Sasuke was sitting under a tree with a rooster and chicken next to him. Menma had an egg cupped in both of his hands. "Look."

Walking closer, he held his small arms out in front of Sasuke's face. "An egg." Sasuke stated.

"It's a chicken. Daddy said it's going to hitch soon."

"Hatch." He corrected Menma. Closing his book. He's been spending a lot of his time in the library in the Uzumaki home. He hasn't had time to indulge in his hobby in a while.

"Hatch soon." Said Menma. Sasuke smiled. He raised his hand to smush his son's cheeks together. Shaking his small face because he was so cute.

"I love you." He moved his face closer to Menma's, kissing his forehead. Letting his cheeks go.

Menma smiled. Rubbing the egg gently in his hands. "Love you too."

Running his hands through Menma's hair. "What else are you doing with Daddy?" Looking over his son's shoulder, Naruto is in the chicken coup feeding them.

"Um." Menma sucked on his bottom lip in thought. "I don't know."

"Well what do you want to do?" He pulled on his son's shirt, trying to make him look more presentable.

His small body pulled around under Sasuke's actions. "I want to wait for this to hatch." He presented the egg up higher in Sasuke's face. Bopping his nose with it. He giggled at Sasuke's expression.

"Where are you going to wait?"

"With the chickens."

"When Daddy leaves the coup. You have to leave too. You can't be in there by yourself."

"Why can't I sleep in there?"

"Because I'll miss you."

"So." Menma pouts. Sasuke pokes his pouty lips.

"Kyuubi will be lonely."

He lets out a long sigh. "I guess."

"Good." He gathers Menma in his arms. He pressed his noses in between Menma's shoulder and neck. Inhaling his scent. "I'll go start dinner with your grandma. Go tell your daddy to hurry up."

He pets the egg. "What are we eating?"

"Lasagna." He kisses his cheek, letting him go. "Then ice cream for dessert."

He sees Menma try to hold his smile in. His son likes to hold onto his pouts.

"Okay."

"Okay." Sasuke pats his bum with affection. Menma tries to kick him, but slips and falls to his knees.

Moving onto his all fours. Hovering over Menma, he holds a laugh. "Are you alright?"

"Yeah." His focus is on his egg. Then he looks at Sasuke sharply. "Don't touch my butt. I'm not Daddy."

"Oh. So I can touch Daddy's butt?" He smiles. He sits back on his ankles, helping Menma back onto his feet.

"When you touch Daddy's butt, you go to sleep. I don't want to sleep."

In the past that's how it was. They haven't talked more about getting back together, and neither of them have initiated anything other than a handful of kisses.

Kisses that he confessed to Neji when Neji visited. Neji talked of his current sexual encounter with a divorced lawyer named Shikamaru. He wants Neji to meet his son, Shikadai and Neji is not on board. Felt too soon, he says.

Sasuke cleared his throat. "Thank you for telling me." He looked away in embarrassment. He lays his hands on the tree behind him, standing up slowly to not bother the animals next to him. "I'll see you at dinner."

Menma runs off toward the coup.
