Was Actually the Beginning…

A girl awakened on the beach, looking up at the red sky. She rubbed her eyes as she heard the water washing the shore. She then sat up, brushing the sand off of herself. She looked around, trying to remember how she got there and how long she had been asleep for.

Last thing I remember was… coming here with Zale and Maya, she thought to herself. But as she looked around, she found no trace of her friends. In fact, everyone that was around was completely different from before. She got up, brushing off the last of the sand that she could as she looked around one last time.

With no luck finding her friends, she decided to just head back to town. She made her way to the train stop that would take her back to the Train Station.

The trip was short, but much to her surprise, something was off. The train had to stop a bit further away, as the conductor announced that the Train Station was still under repair. The girl didn't remember the Train Station needing repairs when she left initially, but she and the other passengers left the train to walk the rest of the way.

Her curiosity got the better of her. As she made her way back to town on a different route, she made her way to the Train Station to see what the conductor was talking about. The girl was shocked to see the Train Station entrance was wrecked, blocked off to prevent entry as people worked on fixing it.

As she inspected the damage, she didn't notice that someone had approached, stopping a bit away from her. She noticed out of the corner of her eye as she looked with wide eyes. A rush of emotion flooded her heart as she looked at a boy… one whom she hadn't seen in a long time and had hoped to see again.

The boy was stunned, as she then rushed over to him. She smiled at him, reaching out to grab his hands. She took them in hers, holding them tight as her eyes got watery.

"Javier!" The girl cheered.

"Kai…?" The boy replied.
