The first thing Harry noticed was the feeling of his body moving by itself, except it felt different then usual. He panicked while trying to get some form of control over his body. As his vision slowly cleared, the panic faded away as he came to a few realisations. He couldn't feel his glasses on his face and yet, he could see better then he ever could with them on.

Thanks to his newly cleared sight, he could see that he was in a bathroom he didn't recognise. As his arm came into view, he saw that the arm attached to his body looked different then normal. Now having a clue of what was going on, Harry made an attempt to communicate with the other soul.

The only problem with that was he couldn't use his mouth to talk. It took a few moments before he came up with an idea. Harry imagined projecting his voice in his mind directly to the other soul. 'Hello?' He cautiously said.

"GYAH!" He felt his mouth say as his body jumped in surprise. What he didn't expect though was his voice to sound feminine. "Who's there!" His body said in a voice that Harry determined to definitely be female.

Realising that this wasn't his body but instead the body of the soul he was connected to, he introduced himself. 'My name is Harry Potter.' he said, hoping that the girl wouldn't freak out.

The girl moved her head around, giving Harry a better view of the bathroom. "Where are you?" She called out.

'Please don't panic, but I think that I am sharing your body with you.' Harry said, mentally preparing for the worst.

Harry didn't get the outburst he expected. What he instead got was "That is so cool!" the girl said in an excited voice before she stopped for a few moments. "Were you watching me dress?" Her tone showed her embarrassment.

'No!' He shouted into her mind 'I had only been aware of my senses for a few seconds before talking to you.'

Harry felt the tension leave the girl's body. "That's a relief." She sighed before she seemed to brighten up "My name is Ruby Rose."

'It's nice to meet you Ruby.' Harry said, relieved that the situation wasn't as bad as it could have been. 'Can you look in the mirror please? I would like to see what you look like.'

"You can see what I see?" Ruby questioned

'I can feel what you feel as well.' Harry said, the skirt on Ruby's legs making him feel slightly awkward.

Harry felt the smile on her face as Ruby moved in front of the mirror. Looking into the mirror, Harry examined Ruby's appearance. She had necked length black hair with red tips and silver eyes. Skimming over her breasts, she seemed to be wearing a female school uniform complete with stockings and a red hooded cloak.

"What do you think?" Ruby asked him quietly.

He took a minute to think of the right words say. 'You look cute.' He finally said.

Ruby's face turned slightly red in the mirror. "Thank you." She muttered before asking him a question "Is there a way to talk to you without speaking out loud?"

'Um, try imagining projecting your voice directly to me inside your mind.' Harry guessed, hoping the same method that he used works for her.

'Did it work?' Ruby asked him inside his mind.

'Yes!' Harry cheered.

Ruby walked with pride to the bathroom door. 'I can't wait to introduce you to Yang.'

Harry started to worry 'Can you keep all this a secret please Ruby?' Ruby stopped in front of the door.

'Why? You can trust her, she's my sister.' She said while Harry felt a pang of envy at those words.

'I'm worried because I came here through magical means and I don't think she would believe you.'

'You can use magic?' She asked, her voice filled with awe.

'I'm a wizard.' He said with pride.

'Like in the story?'

Confused, Harry asked her 'What story?'

He could hear the excitement in her voice 'Yeah! There was once a wizard who had powerful magic and lived like a hermit. Then at the end of the story, he split his magic into four girls as a thank you for giving his life meaning.'

Interested about the story, he responded 'I'm not like that wizard, although the story sounds great! I'm actually from another dimension' he said relying on the information in the book.

"Another dimension?!" She said out loud "That's so cool!"

'You spoke out loud Ruby.' Harry told her.

'Oops, sorry.' She said 'I guess we need to practice this huh?'

'Yeah.' He said before he got back on track 'I want to get to know your friends and family before you introduce me to them.'

She seemed to accept this 'I guess. I wouldn't know how to introduce you anyway.'

'Don't worry Ruby.' Harry said 'Once we figure out our situation more, we can think of a believable explanation.'

Ruby seemed to brighten up 'Okay. What are you going to do now?'

Harry thought about it for a few moments before coming to an answer. 'Since the only thing I can do is talk to you, I'll just observe your day and ask questions about anything I see or hear.'

'Sounds like a plan.' Ruby said. She put her hand on the door handle 'You ready Harry?'

Preparing himself, all Harry could feel was excitement 'I'm ready Ruby.' And with those words she opened the bathroom door and stepped into the other room.

For such a dramatic moment, Harry was really underwhelmed by the room they just entered. The room was basic, the shelves were empty, nothing on the tables, a huge window in the centre of a wall opposite a door and there were 2 beds on either sides of the window. In one of those beds was a teenage girl with long white hair wearing a white nightgown fast asleep.

Harry tried to turn has head away on instinct before remembering that he was in Ruby's body and she had control of her body. Instead, Harry focused on the two other girls in the room who were awake and was wearing the same uniform as Ruby minus the red cloak.

One of the girls had long golden yellow hair and lilac eyes while the other had long black hair, amber eyes and was wearing a black bow in her hair.

The sleeping girl started to stir. Ruby quickly grabbed a whistle and stood next to the bed, preparing to blow it. The girl opened her eyes, revealing them to be light blue, as she sat up and stretched with a big yawn. It was after she finished yawning that Ruby blew the whistle.

"Ah!" The girl exclaimed before she fell off the bed. It shouldn't have been that funny, except Harry didn't have much to laugh about these past few weeks. The laughter that Harry was making made Ruby smile just a bit brighter.

"Good morning team RWBY!" Ruby said as Harry's laughter died down.

"What in the world is wrong with you?" The girl on the floor asks her.

Ruby completely ignores the question "Now that you are awake we can officially begin our first order of business."

"Excuse me?" The white haired girl said as she stood up off the floor.

"Decorating!" The yellow haired girl said while holding a bunch of random stuff. Harry was surprised at how cheerful the girl sounded while saying that.

"What?" Both the white haired girl and Harry said with Ruby obviously the only one hearing Harry.

"We still have to unpack." The black haired girl said holding up a suitcase. Said suitcase immediately bursts open and spills its entire contents on the ground. "And clean."

'Is this a boarding school?' Harry asks Ruby.

'Yep.' She says to him before speaking out loud. "Alllright, Weiss, Blake, Yang and their fearless leader Ruby have begun their first mission. Banzai!" She said before throwing her arm up into the air.

"Banzai!" The yellow and black haired girls said as they also raised their arms.

'Banzai!' Harry joined in slightly late as their enthusiasm caught on.

As they went to go unpack, and in the white haired girl's case, get change out of her nightwear, Harry decided to ask Ruby a few questions.

'Who are they?' He asks wanting to put a face to the names Ruby said earlier.

'Oh, sorry Harry. My sister Yang is the one with yellow hair, Blake is the one with the bow in her hair and she's kinda quiet.' Ruby said as she looked over to Blake, allowing them to see her pulling out a book before getting a weird look on her face and hiding the book somewhere else.

'I'm guessing that Weiss is the one who is currently hanging up that painting?' Harry said as he tries to ignore Blake's strange behaviour while also resolving to find a way to read that book.

'Yep and she kinda acts like a princess.' She says as they watch her walk away from the painting, hand on her chest and her back straight like what Harry imagined that a royal would walk.

His other questions took a backseat as Ruby pulled out a rectangular red machine about the size of his forearm and unfurled it, turning it into a giant red scythe. Harry was silent with shock as she used it to hang up some red curtains before accidentally slicing the curtains.

'Why do you have a scythe?' Harry finally asked.

'This is my baby, Crescent Rose. It's also a customisable, high-impact, sniper rifle.' Ruby said instead of answering the question as she started hugging the weapon. 'I made her when I was at Signal Academy.'

Harry was baffled 'Err, what?'

'It's also a gun.' She stated as she returned her scythe into its compact form and put it away.

'Why did you make, err, her?'

'Well my Uncle Qrow had a scythe as a part of his weapon so I had him teach me and eventually my baby was born!' Harry was even more baffled then before.

Instead, he tried a different approach to his question 'Why do you need a weapon?'

Ruby slowed down a bit as the unpacking neared completion. 'You don't have a weapon? What do you do about the Grimm?'

'Technically my wand is a weapon, but every wizard or witch uses a wand for everything.' Harry said after a moment of thinking. 'Also, what are Grimm?'

'Grimm are soulless monsters that are attracted to negative emotion.' Ruby explained 'Huntsmen and Huntresses help bring peace and protect everyone from the Grimm.'

'And you want to be a huntress?' Harry asked her.

'Yep, and that's why I'm here at Beacon.'

'Brilliant.' Harry told her in awe.

Harry could feel her face flush from the compliment as the four girls made their way to the front of the room to examine their work. Immediately, Harry could see a problem. The curtains were fixed and the rest of the room looked less basic, except the four girls had somehow piled up the four beds into the centre of the room while he wasn't paying attention.

"This isn't going to work." Weiss stated.

Blake piped in "It is a bit cramped."

"Maybe we should ditch some of our stuff." Yang said.

"Or we could ditch the beds..." Ruby began before saying in an excited voice "And replace them with bunk beds!"

Harry was slightly confused. Bunk beds out of four beds that aren't made to be bunk beds?

"That sounds incredibly dangerous." Weiss said with Harry silently agreeing with her.

"And super awesome!" Yang said with Harry conflicted because he also agreed with that.

"It does seem efficient." Blake agreed.

Weiss sound a bit desperate as she said "Well, we should put it to a vote."

"Ah, I think we just did." Ruby told her.

With her words, the four girls went to make the bunk beds. Harry was in awe with their creativity and their resourcefulness. Once they had finished making the beds, they took a step back to admire their work. Yang and Blake's beds were on the right side of the room with Yang's bed on top of Blake's, being held up via four towers of books on the four supports of Blake's bed. Weiss and Ruby's beds were on the left side of the room with Ruby's bed held up above Weiss' bed with rope attached to the roof while a white sheet was also attached to the roof above Ruby's bed making it look like Ruby's bed was a tent.

"Objective complete." Ruby said before speaking to Harry 'What do you think?'

'I don't know what to say.' Harry said speechless.

'Then my work here is done.' She told him before she spoke out loud. "Alright, our second order of business is... classes." She finished in a dejected tone.

"Now we have a few classes together today, at nine we gotta be.."

"What!" Weiss interrupted Ruby "Did you say nine o'clock?"

"Um." Was all she got out before Weiss shouted "It's 8:55 you dunce." Before she ran out the room.

The other three girls poked their heads out the door watching her run for a few seconds. As did four other people straight across from them, two guys and two girls.

"Ah" Ruby stuttered "To class!" As the girls run after Weiss.

As they ran, the four other students joined them in their run. While they were running, Harry got a good look at his surroundings. Beacon was breath-taking and was just as majestic as Hogwarts in a more modern way.

They made it to the classroom with a minute to spare and went inside. The rest of the students were already in their seats watching them as they all made their way to their seats. The teacher at the front of the room was a tall man with dark green hair, glasses, dishevelled clothes and was holding a coffee mug in his hand.

"Now that everyone is here, we can begin." The man said rapidly before taking a sip out of his mug. "My name is Doctor Oobleck and I will teach about the history of the world."

Apparently, Harry thought, he speaks extremely fast all the time as the Doctor was speaking so quickly, that he would have to constantly pay attention just to understand what he is saying.

The class went on from there, with Harry actually learning something interesting in a history class. He was actually disappointed when the class was over. As everyone was walking out of the classroom, Harry made a comment to Ruby.

'He's better then my History teacher.'

'Oh?' She said, curiosity peaked 'How? I couldn't understand what he was saying.'

At least Harry now knew why she didn't take notes 'My History teacher is a ghost and he always talks about the same topic in monotone, leaving most of the class to sleep.'

'That sounds boring. At least Oobleck is entertaining.'

Yang spoke up as they were walking through the hallways "Where to next Ruby?"

Ruby perked up and pulled something out of her pocket. The item was a slim, white rectangle with a yellow diamond in the centre. She then pulled the item from both sides as it seemed to hum slightly, revealing a slightly transparent blue screen connecting the two halves of the item.

She began touching icons on the surprisingly solid screen where she eventually found their timetable. "Okay, we have Combat Class with Professor Goodwitch and then we have lunch."

"I can't wait for lunch!" A new voice exclaimed excitedly. When Ruby turned to look at the person, Harry got a look at the four other people walking with them. "I didn't get to eat breakfast today." It was the girl with orange hair that said this.

"Nora, none of us did." A man with black hair and a pink streak in his hair told the girl.

Harry looked over the other two in the group and froze, despite the fact that Ruby was still moving. Next to a tall blond man was a girl with long red hair, tied up in a ponytail and green eyes. He stopped paying attention to the conversation and their surroundings, all his focus was on the girl.

Harry didn't know long he spent focusing on her before Ruby caught his attention. 'Harry? Are you okay?'

'I'm fine.' He told her, but something in his voice must have told her otherwise.

'Nope.'

'Huh?' He said confused.

'Nope, you're not fine. ' Ruby told him.

He knew his friends never believed him when he said that but he didn't think that Ruby would catch on that quickly.

'How did you know?' He asked her.

'You sound like Yang when she is hiding something from me. ' Ruby replied.

Harry sighed and knew that he couldn't keep this from Ruby. 'That girl with red hair and green eyes looks like my mum.'

'Pyrrha looks like your mum?' She said in shock 'What's her name.'

His voice turned wistful 'Her name was Lily Potter and she died when protecting me when I was a baby.'

Ruby went silent. Harry took the time to focus on his surroundings again. They were all with a group of students in front of some lockers. There was a stern looking woman talking at the front of the group that reminded him of Professor McGonagall. He tuned in to hear what she was saying.

"Each of you will be assigned one rocket propelled locker to store your weapons and extra armour."

'What did she mean by rocket propelled launcher?' Harry asked Ruby.

She sounded a bit embarrassed when she finally answered. 'I forgot to project my voice to you didn't I?'

'Yeah.' He told her as the woman who Harry assumed was Professor Goodwitch continued to speak.

"Additionally, your locker can be sent to a custom location based on a six digit code."

Harry's question to Ruby was answered when a man with short dark orange hair pushed the blond man from their group into a locker, slammed it shut and entered a code and launched the locker into the air, with the man still inside.

"Oh come ooonnn!" Harry could faintly hear as the locker flew away from them.

"Jaune!" The girl who looked like his mum, Pyrrha, shouted.

"Mr Winchester!" The Professor said angrily. She didn't shout while she berated him, confirming the likeness to McGonagall.

The teacher turned back to the rest of the class. "Everyone pick a locker, the rest of the class is cancelled as I have to go find Mr Arc. Be on your best behaviour." She walked away for a few steps before turning back to Winchester "And also Mr Winchester, see me in my office after your last class." She then continued on her way.

'Will he be okay?' Harry said concerned.

'Oh Jaune?' Ruby said dismissively 'He'll be fine. His Aura will protect him.'

'What do you mean his Aura?' He asked.

Ruby sounded a bit concerned. 'You don't know what Aura is? What about a Semblance?'

'I don't know what either of them are.' Harry told her.

'Everyone has an Aura and a Semblance.' She said as she started moving somewhere by herself. 'Aura comes from a person's soul and it can act like a shield and can even heal injuries.' Ruby kept moving through the hallways determined to reach her location. 'A semblance is a special ability that is unique to everyone and is powered by your Aura.'

Harry was amazed. 'How do I get an Aura and a Semblance?'

'You can unlock your Aura by having someone with an Aura unlock it for you or when you are in great danger, your Aura will unlock itself.' She explained. 'And everyone unlocks their semblance differently.'

Disappointed, Harry told her 'We don't have Auras or Semblances, I would have unlocked my Aura by now.'

'What do you mean by that Harry?'

Harry hesitated a bit before saying 'I'll tell you another time.'

He could feel Ruby's pout as she arrived at her destination. It was the female bathroom. They went in revealing that the bathroom was empty.

'Uh, Ruby?' Harry asked nervously.

'Yeah Harry?' She still hasn't spotted the problem.

'Do you remember how I feel everything you feel?'

'Yeah... Oooh.' Ruby said in realisation. Ruby stayed in place as Harry could feel a blush appear on her face.

They stood there in embarrassment for a few moments. 'We will both swear to never speak of this ever!'

'I swear!' Harry said quickly.

A few minutes later, they exited the bathroom completely mortified. Ruby ran in a rush. As she was running, Harry felt an unfamiliar power building up inside Ruby's body, he felt safe and protected as the built up power reached its peak. The power allowed Ruby to run even faster through the hallways, rose petals appearing around them as Ruby ran.

In no time at all, Ruby had reached the cafeteria, rushing inside, she quickly spotted her sister and ran straight to the open seat next to her. Sliding into the seat as if she had done it a thousand times before, the power that had been built up disappeared, the last of the rose petals floating to the ground. Now that Harry has felt the power, he could easily recognise its constant presence surrounding Ruby. This, Harry realised, was Ruby's Aura. Just feeling it made him feel whole.

"Oh hey sis, took ya long enough." Yang said to Ruby, throwing an arm across her shoulder and squeezing her into a tight hug. Harry panicked for a second about a near stranger hugging him and tried to brace for the pain in his injuries. It was only until after Yang had started hugging Ruby that Harry remembered that this was not his body and Ruby didn't have any injuries.

Harry stayed silent as Ruby ate with her friends, marvelling at the fact that he "ate" more food then he ever could and not feel sick. During conversations, he learned that the man with the pink streak in his hair name was Ren. Around the cafeteria there was people with animal features scattered around, including one female who had a camera who had rabbit ears. He did notice that Wiess was looking down at the same device that Ruby had earlier and every so often would look at Ruby with an angry look on her face before looking away.

'Ruby do you know why Wiess is angry at you.' Harry asked her.

Ruby looked over at Wiess just as she looked at Ruby. When they made eye contact, Wiess got angrier and looked away immediately. 'I don't know, maybe she is angry at something else?'

'Maybe.' Harry said even though he believes otherwise. 'What is Weiss using?'

Ruby looked at the device that Weiss was using. 'That's her scroll.'

Harry pictured one of those rolled up old fashioned books before focusing on the device completely confused. 'And what does it do?'

In response, Ruby brought out her own scroll and began to show him the features. 'A scroll can call and text other people, take pictures and videos and the most important of all, we can play games on it.'

'Brilliant' Harry said, it was basically an extremely modern telephone.

It was at this moment that the signal for the next class rang.

"Aw yeah! Last class of the day!" Nora shouted "Onward, to class!"

While Nora ran ahead, everyone else walked at a steady pace. Harry decided to ask another question. 'Why do some people have animal features?'

'They are called the Faunus and each of them has one animal trait that make them unique. Unfortunately, there are a lot of people that hate the Faunus because of that.' She said sadly.

'Racism and prejudice is the same everywhere huh?' Harry asked rhetorically.

Harry went silence as Ruby joined in on the conversation the others were having. It took a few minutes before they reached the classroom for Grimm Studies. Harry was actually excited for this class, wanting to learn all about the Grimm and see how similar they are to dementors.

Inside the classroom, Nora was already there waiting for them and a fat man with grey hair and a huge mustache, who was standing at the front of the room waiting for them. Harry assumed this was the teacher on Ruby's timetable, Professor Port. Diagrams of different creatures were behind the professor.

"Settle down now students and take a seat." The professor said. Everyone sat down as the professor waited for a few minutes for any last stragglers before beginning his lesson.

"Monsters, demons, prowlers of the night. Yes the creatures of Grimm have many names." As he was speaking, Harry was getting a bad feeling but was confused at the cause of it. "But I merely refer to them as prey. Ha-HA!"

There was an awkward silence as he said this. Ruby was obviously trying to keep herself awake and Harry was getting worried about this class. "Ah, and you shall too upon graduating from this prestigious academy. Now as I was saying, Vale as well as the other three kingdoms are safe havens in an otherwise treacherous world. Our planet is absolutely teaming with creatures that would love nothing more than to tear you to pieces. And that's where we come in."

"Huntsman, Huntresses." As he said this, Professor Port looked directly at Yang. "Individuals who have sworn to protect those who cannot protect themselves. From what you ask?" He asked rhetorically "Why the very world!"

"Ay, yep!" One random individual shouted as the rest of the class looked at him as he sat down awkwardly.

"That is what you are training to become. But first a story, a tale of a young, handsome man, me!" With those words, Harry's bad feeling came to pass. The professor was just as full of himself as Lockhart, except that unlike Lockhart, Professor Port could actually back up his claims and knew what he was doing.

As the professor was retelling a story, Ruby was drawing. Harry was totally focused on the feeling of hand going across the page. It felt weird using a pencil and paper again after four years of quills, ink pots and parchments but he couldn't deny how much better they were. With the lack of ink pots, there was no risk of making a mess. What would take some time to get used to was the fact that Ruby was left handed and it was giving Harry a very weird feeling.

Ruby was laughing to herself as she finished the picture. Focusing on it, Harry couldn't help but laugh as well. It was a very childish drawing of Port with it being labelled as "Professor Poop". Harry wasn't used to that type of humour and was still laughing as Ruby showed it to her friends. Blake was paying attention to the teacher and not Ruby, Yang found it funny and started quietly laughing and Weiss wasn't amused.

"Ah-hem" Professor Port said as everyone gave him their attention. "In the end, the Beowolf was no match for my sheer tenacity. And I returned to my village with the beast in captivity and my head held high, celebrated as a hero." The professor then took a bow. Harry wasn't sure what to think about that. "The moral of the story? A true huntsman must be honourable. A true huntsman must be dependable. A true huntsman must be strategic, well educated and wise." As he was saying this Ruby was messing around while he could see Weiss getting angrier out of the corner of his eye. "So who among you believes themselves to be the embodiment of these traits."

"I do sir!" Weiss burst out in what sounded to be part anger and determination.

"Well then." Professor Port said. "Let's find out. Step forward and face your opponent." He pointed to a moving and growling metal cage. Harry didn't know how he missed that earlier, but now it was completely obvious it was there.

"Go change into your combat gear and come back as quick as you can." He told her. Weiss nodded and gracefully rose out of her seat and went out the door. She came back wearing a white dress, a jacket that had long sleeves with the main body being very small compared to regular jackets, high heels and she was holding a rapier. Harry couldn't see how that was meant to be a combat outfit.

'Is she going to fight in that?' He asked Ruby.

'Yep, all our clothes apart from our school uniform is designed to be combat clothes as well and anything that is not suitable is covered by Aura anyway.' She said.

'Even high heels?'

She was silent for a few seconds before saying 'That's a personal choice. I don't understand how anyone can even move in those lady stilts.'

Amused at Ruby's name for high heels, he focused back on Weiss as she was standing ready to begin.

"Go Weiss!" Yang shouted.

"Fight well!" Blake told her.

"Yeah! Represent Team RWBY!" Ruby enthusiastically said.

"Ruby, I'm trying to focus!" Weiss scolded Ruby.

"Oh." Ruby said quietly "Sorry."

'Team RWBY? What's that?' Harry asked curiously.

Half distracted by the beginning fight, where Professor Port released a Grimm with two big tusks, she answered 'During initiation, we all got chess pieces as the treasure for our task, once we got back Professor Ozpin took the first letter off each of our names and made RWBY and made me the leader.'

Weiss meanwhile had slashed the Grimm as she dodged it.

"Haha, wasn't expecting that were you?" Port said in an excited tone.

"Hang in there Weiss." Ruby said.

Weiss charged the Grimm, getting her weapon stuck between the tusks of the beast.

"Come on Weiss, show it who's boss!" Ruby cheered.

Weiss's weapon flew out of her hands and onto the floor on the opposite side of the room as Weiss was thrown to the floor. Harry was ignoring the teacher's comments, fully immersed into the fight.

Weiss looked up from the ground and seeing the Grimm charging at her, rolled out of the way and onto her feet. She made a dash to her weapon and picked it up, facing the beast.

"Weiss!" Ruby called "Go for its belly, there's no armour underneath it."

Harry was surprised when Weiss shouted at Ruby "Stop telling me what to do!"

The Grimm then curled itself up into a ball and started rapidly rolling towards Weiss, picking up speed as it got closer to her. Weiss made a few random gestures that Harry was convinced was for dramatic effect before to his shock, a giant blue snowflake inside a circle appeared in front of her, stopping the charging Grimm in its tracks as it landed on its back, revealing the armour-less belly, just as Ruby said. The snowflake disappeared, just as another one appeared in the air slightly behind Weiss. She then performed a backflip onto the snowflake as it turned from blue to black. Launching herself off the snowflake, Weiss moved through the air with incredible speed as her sword was pushed through the belly of the beast.

"Bravo, bravo!" The professor said as the Grimm disintegrated into a black mist before completely disappearing. "It appears we are indeed in the presence of a true huntress in training. I'm afraid that is all the time have left for today. Be sure to cover the assigned readings and, stay vigilant. Class dismissed."

They watched as Weiss immediately left the room. 'Are you okay Ruby?' Harry asked in concern.

'I'm fine.' She said.

Feeling slightly amused by her choice in wording, he responded with 'Nope.'

Ruby started giggling out loud, drawing some weird looks, as she rushed to catch up with Weiss.

"Weiss!" Ruby called out to her as they both stopped in an empty hall.

"What?" Weiss asked in an angry tone of voice.

"What's wrong with you? Why are you being..." She started before Weiss interrupted her.

"What's wrong with me? What's wrong with you! You are supposed to be a leader and all you've been so far is a nuisance."

Harry grew angry as Ruby asked "What did I do?"

"That's just it!" Weiss shouted "You've done nothing to earn your position, back in the forest you acted like a child and you've only continued to do so!"

"Weiss, where is this coming from? What happened to all the talk about working together, I thought you believed in working together as a team."

"Not a team lead by you. I've studied and trained and quite frankly, I deserve better. Ozpin made a mistake." Weiss said as she walked away.

Ruby turned and almost bumped into someone. The person had short silver hair and was wearing a dark green suit and scarf and reading glasses. In his right hand was a mug filled with an drink Harry couldn't recognise and in his left hand was resting on top of a cane.

"Hm, now that didn't seem to go very well." The man stated.

"Is she right? Did you make a mistake?" She asked the man, who Harry assumed was this Ozpin person Weiss had mentioned.

'No she isn't!' Harry told her firmly at the same time as Ozpin spoke "That remains to be seen."

"What do you mean?"

"I mean it's only been one day." He said kindly. "Ruby, I have made more mistakes then any man, woman and child on this planet, but at this moment I would not consider your appointment to leader to be one of them. Do you?"

He took a moment to take a sip out of his mug before continuing. "Being a team leader isn't just a title you carry into battle. It's a badge you wear constantly. If you are not always performing at your absolute best, then what reason do you give others to follow you?"

Ozpin turned away from her. "You have been burdened by a daunting responsibility Ruby. I advise you take some time, to think about how you will uphold it."

Ruby also turned away from him, just in time to see Professor Port walking away from Weiss. Ruby turned her head back to Ozpin, but he was nowhere to be seen.

Harry took some time to think of something to say. 'He reminds me of my Headmaster.'

'Well, maybe it's because he is the Headmaster of Beacon.' Ruby said.

That made sense to Harry, Ozpin has given him the best advice anyone could give him. He will be taking some time later to do exactly what he said. 'So what now Ruby?'

'Now, we will go to the library to check out some books and then straight to our room to start on homework.'

Expecting that response after Ozpin's speech, Harry told her 'Lead the way then.' As if they had a choice in the matter.

Ruby got lost a few times trying to find the library. Harry didn't mind, having gotten a tour of the school and could now say with confidence that Beacon and Hogwarts is tied for the best school in his opinion. Eventually, they did find the library and went inside. The library was huge, even bigger than Hogwarts' library. It had rows upon rows of books, each had a table and chairs separating each of them. The library even had a second floor. Harry decided that this was Hermione's heaven.

'How are we going to find the books we need in this?' Harry asked.

Ruby headed over to the library counter and pressed a button. Instantly, the same type of holographic screen as a scroll appeared in front of them. 'Like this.' She said as Harry looked at the screen with awe.

'Hogwarts' library doesn't have anything like this.' Harry told her as she was navigating the screen.

'What's Hogwarts?' Ruby asked as she stopped searching to hear listen to his answer.

'Hogwarts is the school I go to to learn magic.' He said with pride as he scanned the screen.

"That is so cool!." She said aloud drawing looks from the people in the library.

Harry spotted something on the screen in front of them. 'Is that on the right side of the screen what we're looking for?'

Ruby refocused on the screen. 'Yes that's it! The books we need are three rows down.'

Ruby then began to walk towards the bookshelves. It was only after they reached the third row of books that they realised that the bookshelves were on both sides of the room and had a huge gap between them. Ruby hesitated for a moment before heading to the shelves on the right. Luckily, they found the right shelf and grabbed the books they needed before heading out of the library.

The sky had turned dark while they were in there. Harry felt the feeling of Ruby's Aura building up, and prepared himself to the wonderful feeling of it as Ruby uses what he realised was her Semblance. As Ruby ran, Harry focused his attention on both the speed they were moving and the way, her Aura was powering the Semblance. Ruby would love flying on a broom if she does this constantly, Harry thought to himself.

In no time at all, they made it to the team's room. Harry was disappointed when her Aura settled down, he hadn't felt that alive since he was on his broom.

In the room, Yang and Blake were already in their pyjamas with Weiss nowhere to be seen. Harry felt embarrassed looking at them but didn't say anything, not wanting Ruby to act differently in front of them.

"Oh hey Ruby! What took you so long?" Yang said. Blake looked up from the book she was reading before looking back down at it.

"I got lost on my way to the library." Ruby told her holding up the books she got.

Yang looked confused. "The library? What were you doing there? I thought we were going to wait a few days before starting homework." Blake glared at Yang before looking at Ruby curiously.

"Professor Ozpin gave me some pretty good advice on being a team leader." Ruby told them. "And I want to prove that he made the right choice."

Blake gave a small smile. "I'm glad that you are taking this seriously Ruby. It seems Yang would do well to follow your example."

"Oh don't worry about me." Yang said. "I have perfected the art of time management." Yang then tossed Ruby a towel. "Anyway Ruby, the shower's all yours."

"Thank you." Ruby told them both as she walked to her bed and threw the books on top. Ruby then grabbed a set of pyjamas and underwear and walked into the bathroom, closing the door and locking it.

'Ruby?' Harry asked noticing the same problem from before. 'We have another problem."

This time Ruby needed no explanation. 'What do we do Harry?'

'I don't know. Do you have any ideas?'

They were silent for a while before Ruby spoke up. 'I could not have a shower tonight?'

Harry immediately shot it down. 'And what would Blake and Yang say?'

'Yang would be worried and would ask questions.' Ruby said disappointed. 'And I don't know enough about Blake to know what she would do.'

They went silent again as they tried to think of a better solution.

'I think that you are just going to have to take a shower Ruby.' Harry said embarrassed.

'What? B-but, what will you do?' Ruby asked.

With a small amount of humour, he told her 'I will be making no noise, pretending that I don't exist.'

"O-okay." Ruby whispered before she started to slowly strip out of her uniform.

Harry was completely silent as he felt Ruby take off her clothes. Because Ruby hadn't shut her eyes, he could see everything that she saw, but he couldn't bring himself to speak up as he continued watching her.

She was finally naked as her clothes dropped on the floor. Looking in the mirror, Harry saw the embarrassment on her face, his eyes drawn to the rest of her naked body before Ruby turned towards the shower and turned it on.

As they entered the shower, Harry felt most of his embarrassment wash away under the hot water. A shower had never felt this nice before as all of his previous ones had either little or no hot water, hit open or sore wounds or both. But now, he was revelling from the hot water as Ruby's fingers ran themselves over smooth scar less skin for the first time since he was a child.

As Ruby was washing her hair, Harry took this opportunity to think on Ozpin's words. He thought about the situation back in his world. With Voldemort back, Dumbledore ignoring him and the Ministry burying their heads in the sand, it was up to him to be the best leader he could be and set an example to everyone looking at him for guidance, no matter how much he wants to fade into the background. And for him to do that he would need to be performing at his best and considering his previous years, it was a wonder that he was not already doing this before this year. His resolve was now firmly within his mind, any doubt he had before was long gone.

Harry was soon distracted by the feeling of Ruby's hands washing her breasts. His embarrassment came back full force as Ruby continued washing herself. This was not how Harry thought his first time seeing a naked girl would go.

Eventually, Ruby finished in the shower and stepped out, wrapping herself in the towel Yang threw her. It was only when Ruby had dried and dressed herself that Ruby spoke to Harry.

'I'm done Harry.'

'No more embarrassment for today?' Harry asked, his embarrassment dying now that Ruby was dressed.

'Nope.' She said making Harry laugh.

He remembered Ruby's words from earlier this morning and teasingly said 'I was watching you dress this time.'

Ruby giggled nervously and didn't answer as they exited the bathroom, school uniform in hand. Ruby dumped her uniform carelessly with the rest of her stuff while carefully folding her cloak and placing it down gently. She then grabbed a mug with the same design as Ozpin's and went to the corner of the room next to her's and Wiess's bed. Underneath a messy sheet was a mini fridge. Ruby opened the mini fridge, pulling out a carton of milk and some hot chocolate mix.

'Why do you have a mini fridge?' Harry asked her confused as she made her drink.

'So I can have milk and hot chocolate without having to go to the café.' She said proudly as she seemingly finished making her drink before pulling out a tiny red crystal. Ruby crushed the crystal before sprinkling the remains in her drink. Instantly steam was rising from the drink astonishing Harry.

'What was that crystal? I've never seen anything like it.' He said.

'That was a small piece of Burn Dust.' Ruby said as she sipped her drink and scalding her tongue with Harry feeling the pain too.

Trying to distract himself from the pain he asked 'What's Burn Dust?'

Ruby didn't answer for a while and Harry could immediately tell why. He could feel her Aura focusing on her tongue as it healed the damage before retreating when its job was done.

'Burn Dust is a type of Dust that can heat stuff up, create fires and explosions.' Ruby explained.

'Are there other types of Dust?' He asked curiously.

'Yeah! There's Ice, Lightning, Gravity and loads more.' She said. 'We use dust for power and ammunition and specialists can use it for even more!'

'That sounds amazing.' Harry said.

Curiously, Ruby asked 'What do you use for power if you don't have dust?'

'I'm not sure. Hogwarts doesn't teach us about that kind of stuff.' Harry said. 'I think it has something to do with oil, coal and fossil fuels and that's only in the muggle, err, Non-Magical world. The Wizarding World doesn't use any power.'

'That's horrible. What does the Wizarding World use instead?'

'The Wizarding World is really far behind, we use candles for light and quills and parchment for writing.' Harry said. 'I would rather use pen and paper. At least then my handwriting wouldn't be as bad.'

Harry felt Ruby's mouth fall open with shock.

"Ruby!" Yang called, snapping her out of her shock. "Me and Blake are going to bed."

"Okay." Ruby said before Yang grabbed her into a big hug. Harry was mortified when this action shoved Ruby's face into her huge breasts. Harry was glad that Ruby was released from the hug, they had trouble breathing in that position.

"Night Ruby." Yang said.

"Night Yang, Night Blake." Ruby said.

"Goodnight Ruby." Blake said softly as they climbed into bed.

Ruby also climbed into her bed, organising the books she had thrown onto it earlier. She pulled the sheet hanging above her bed closed and turned a lamp on. She pulled out a notebook and pencil and drained her drink, ready to study.

'Why are we doing this now instead of tomorrow?' Harry asked.

'Because I'm not tired and I want to make Professor Ozpin proud of me.' Ruby replied.

Good enough for him. 'Who's first?'

'Professor Port.' She said opening the book she needed.

'What was the Grimm that Wiess fought?'

'That was a Boarbatusk. I think you saw what they can do.'

They continued studying like this for a while. They must of dozed off because Wiess was shaking them awake.

"Wiess!" Ruby said with alarm. " I was studying and I fell asleep, I'm sorry." Ruby rambled before Wiess covered Ruby's mouth with her hand.

"How do you take your coffee?" Wiess asked her.

Harry was surprised by the question and apparently so was Ruby. "Uh, I don't."

"Just answer the question." Wiess snapped.

"Uh, cream and five sugars." She said in a panic.

Wiess sighed "Don't move." She said before taking Ruby's empty mug and filling it with coffee. "Here." She said, giving the mug back.

As Ruby took the mug she said gratefully "Uh, thanks Wiess."

"Ruby I think you have what it takes to be a good leader." She began. "Just know that I am going to be the best teammate you'll ever have."

They both smiled at each other. "Good luck studying." Weiss said before pointing at the notes Ruby was taking. "That's wrong by the way." She said before entering the bathroom.

Harry was about to speak before Wiess's voice came from the bathroom door. "Hey Ruby? I always wanted bunk beds as a kid."

'Professor Port must of given her good advice.' Harry said.

'Yeah.' Ruby said.

A few moments passed as Ruby drank the coffee. 'Harry? What's going to happen to you tomorrow?'

Harry hadn't thought about that question until now. 'I don't know. This magic is unpredictable. I think I might either be with you in the morning or be back in my body.'

'Will I hear you again?' She timidly asks.

'Of course you will!' Harry said with certainty. 'We will figure this connection out until we master it, so don't worry if I'm not there in the morning, I'll be back.'

'Okay, thank you Harry.' She said as she drained the rest of the coffee.

'Anytime.'

They continued to study until Ruby began to feel tired. 'Goodnight Harry.'

'Goodnight Ruby.'

With that they drifted peacefully off to sleep.
