A few days passed since that day and each and all the ants had a new and different outlook on Littlefoot. Currently our dinos and Flik were currently eating some Tree Stars. Suddenly Marl and Loid showed up.

"Hey Littlefoot." Marl said.

"What is it?" Littlefoot asked.

"Look we just wanna talk to you." Loid told him.

"We just wanna let you know that we feel bad that your mother died." Marl said.

"We're sorry." Loid added.

"Thanks guys." Littlefoot told them. "Wanna join us for some lunch?" He asked them.

"What's on the menu?" Loid wondered.

"Tree Stars." Ducky said.

"They're really good." Flik told them.

"Help yourself." Cera said.

Marl and Loid both took a bite out of a Tree Star and were impressed with the taste.

"Wow, this is good." Loid said.

Flik noticed a Tree Star far off and decided to go get it. As he lifted it up Princess Atta was walking by.

"Oh, hi Flik." She said.

"Oh, hi." He said back.

Soon Littlefoot and Chomper came by and both chuckled a bit and Chomper nudged Flik a little. "What?" Flik asked.

"Oh nothing." Chomper said before he and Littlefoot walked off.

"Uh, wanna bite?" He asked her. "Sure." She said. The two shared the Tree Star. "Wow that's pretty good." Atta said.

"I know." Flik said. "Well see you around your highness." Flik said before leaving.

Littlefoot and Chomper were secretly still watching and laughed to each other. "You think we should speed things up?" Chomper asked. "Maybe." Littlefoot told his BFF.

Later Atta was walking back when she bumped into Ducky, Spike, Cera, Petrie, and Ruby.

"Oh hello Atta." Ducky greeted.

"Hi Ducky." Atta greeted back. "What are you guys doing?" She asked her.

"Oh just eating Tree Stars." Ruby said.

"Where's Flik?" She wondered.

"Why do you ask?" Cera wondered.

"What do you mean?" Atta asked her.

"Well you wouldn't ask unless you had a reason to ask." Ruby pointed out.

"Oh well I just wanted to know where he is?" Atta said.

"You sure there isn't more too it than just that?" Cera said sarcastically.

"Uh yes." Atta said sounding nervous.

Suddenly Cera burst out in laughter.

"What's so funny?" Atta asked angrily.

"Nothing." Cera claimed before she started to sing. "Flik and Atta sitting in a tree. K-I-S-S-I-N-G." Cera sung before laughing again.

Atta blushed. "I don't know what you're talking about Cera." Atta said looking to her left.

"Yeah, that's exactly why your blushing and looking to your left." Cera said before laughing again.

Ducky walked up to Atta. "Don't listen to her Atta. The rest of us think it's wonderful that you're in love with Flik. We do. We do." Ducky told her. "Right Spike?"

"Mmhm." Spike said.

"You should just talk to him." Ruby suggested to Atta.

"Yeah thanks, but I really don't know what you're talking about." Atta said quickly before flying off.

"Me think she like Flik." Petrie said.

Meanwhile Flik was heading back to the others when Littlefoot and Chomper came up to him.

"So Flik, can I ask you a question?" Littlefoot asked him.

"Sure Littlefoot." Flik said.

"Do you miss your old colony?" Littlefoot wondered.

"What do you mean?" Flik asked.

"Well there back and we just wanted to know If you want to go back." Chomper said.

"Oh well you don't have to worry about that. I told you, I forgot about them and you guys are my family now." Flik said.

"Okay." Littlefoot said. "But do you miss Atta?" Littlefoot asked.

"What are you talking about?" Flik said.

"Oh just how you and her seem to have some kind of attraction toward each other." Littlefoot said.

"We don't have an attraction!" Flik said nervously.

"You defiantly do." Littlefoot said.

"So you gonna sneak into the anthill at night so you can talk to her?" Chomper asked Flik.

"Uh no." Flik told him.

Littlefoot and Chomper just smirked. "We're just kidding Romeo." Littlefoot said. "C'mon let's go home." Littlefoot put Flik on his back and they went back to his grandparents while Chomper went back to the caves.

At night the apatosauruses slept peacefully. Flik on the other hand was wide awake. He kept thinking about what Littlefoot and Chomper said, and so he made a choice. He got up and slowly snuck passed the sleeping sauropods. He stopped when he thought he herd someone wake up. But no one did, so he kept tip-toeing away. Soon he found the anthill. He made sure no one else was looking and went in. He knew that everyone was asleep at this hour so he didn't have to worry much. He looked around and didn't see anyone. Finally he found Princess Atta's room. She was sound asleep. Flik walked up to her, tapped her shoulder, and quietly whispered her name.

"Atta, Princess Atta." Flik whispered.

Atta was startled as she jolted awake, she screamed. "Ahhhh!"

"Shh. Quiet." Flik said, covering her mouth so she couldn't scream. Flik looked around nervously hoping by some chance Atta's scream didn't wake anyone. He looked back at Atta and despite how dark it was he could see the glare she gave him. He knew she wasn't happy about this. A few minutes of silence in the dark passed before Flik took his hand off of Atta's mouth. She took a quiet breath of air before quietly scolding him.

"Flik what are you doing here?" She said in a quiet but angry tone. "Did you sneak in?"

"Uh, yes." He said.

"Are you crazy?" She hissed as she got out of bed. "What is wrong with you, what did you get hit in the head during a toss the pinecone game or something? If someone finds you here, you'll be in a lot of hot water."

"I'm sorry Princess Atta, but I have to ask you something." Flik told her.

"Whatever it is can't it wait until morning?" She asked him.

"Well it's kind of private." He answered.

"Fine, but make it quick." She conceded.

"Okay, but whatever you say, please promise you'll keep all this between us, okay?" He told her.

"Okay." She said.

"So, I was wondering, how'd you like to take a walk around the valley with me?" He said faintly.

Atta was surprised. "Flik, are you trying to, ask me out on a date?" She asked him.

"Uh well you could say that but-" She cut him off.

"Flik I would love to go out with you." Atta responded.

"You're right Princess, I have no business being here, you're the Princess, and I'm an outcast. Thanks for not telling anyone though." Flik started to leave before realizing.

"Wait, did you say yes?" He said.

"Yep, wanna try that again?" She asked.

"Okay. Princess Atta would you go out on a date with me?" He asked rhetorically.

"Flik I would love to go out with you." Atta repeated.

"Tomorrow night?" Asked Flik.

"Tomorrow night." Atta agreed.

"See you then." Flik said before leaving. Atta went back to sleep. Both were excited and couldn't wait for the date tomorrow night.
