Vegeta sei- Universe 12

A Black-haired black-eyed female coiled her tail tighter around her waist as two brutes of saiyans mangled her mother's flowers because she was a human. Brute one would pluck them out and brute two would stomp on them. Even so, they were still green thanks to her mother's tie with the element of earth. Her element was more obscure. She kept a docile look on her face while her hands slowly weaved a basket.

"Tronus let's go nothing worth buying from this filth," spat the first brute. He was tall and lanky. Honestly, she didn't see much saiyan in him.

Tronus burped and laughed glancing her way. It was a good thing no one could see her tail unless she wanted them to. Everyone thought her human. She was registered as human in the saiyan records but she wasn't. She had a brown and silver-streaked tail with silver pointed tip proving her lineage but of course, she had chosen not to fight for a tyrant as soon as she understood the word. Frieza was a tyrant and it was those like her mother who worked against him and his villainy. She narrowed her eyes at the two and a shadow slowly came to life and whacked Tronus in the arse startling him from stomping on the macdalias.

"Who did that!" he yelled rubbing his behind.

Her mother glanced up from the floor and smiled kindly. "Did what kind sirs?"

"Someone whacked me!" he yelled glaring right at her who stared back calmly.

The shadow slowly weaved into his own and then he was dancing and screaming. mom's eye told her she did well in her final test of projectile magic. She knew what came next. It is always followed after a test. Trumpets sounded and both she and her mother turned. She smiled wider as Tronus was danced off their small stall and finally the shadow crept into another shadow before disappearing. Tronus ran as far away as he could as fast as possible.

She blinked keeping decorum but inside she was laughing. She turned her twinkling eyes to face the ground as the guards arrived annoyed. They would check for allegations of witchcraft and find none.

"Pan Satan?" one called.

She tipped her head and curtseyed in reply.

"Videl Satan!" called the other.

Her mom did the same but answered politely. "Yes?"

"Both of you are to spend a night at the cells for witchcraft use," began the first guard as he smirked at Pan's wince. Videl just nodded silently. A commotion nearby startled the guards as the saiyans began to run scared, tails tucked between their knees and puffy. Only a siege could do this. The guards grimaced and faced whoever was attacking them and froze. Men in white spandex and owning silver tails with a pointed tip were marching down from a big blue ship and shooting Saiyans with lasers that penetrated their physiology and armor. There was chaos all over the bazaar and market stalls.

Videl grabbed Pan's hand and urged her to run forgetting about the shell-shocked guards and following the crowd. They ran as if the Ginu force were in town. She tried hard not to think about who were the Ginu force right then as her mother yanked her through stalls and around to their secret place to hide. It was in an alley full of crates and boxes of ale. Pan slid through specific cracks and got to the crack in the wall. Using her saiyan heritage, she punched a hole for her and her mother to pass into the abandoned bar. It smelt highly of mildew and dirt. Videl spread her hands and the dirt wiped off a few chairs in the corner.

"Sit there and don't move," she said glancing from a dirty mirror at what was happening outside. She closed her fist and spun the glass around before opening her fist and spreading her fingers.

"Mama, who were those men?" asked Pan as she slowly walked over to Videl.

"I haven't a clue but my mother had a tail like that, as did I, as do you."

Pan uncoiled her tail and studied the slightly fluffy tip. It held a slight point to it barely noticable but there. If it ever came under scrutiny it would come out—another dirty secret to keep.

She patted her tail and stayed as silent as she could while her mother scried at the mirror. She wasn't far from learning that trick with her shadows As she slipped into unconsciousness her mother screamed and she bolted to her feet. The shadows coalesced around her as she watched her mom be taken on by a tall black spiky soldier. The dust all around her became a smoke screen and she was grabbed from behind as the soldier coughed.

She looked into the eyes of the Prince who was watching her mother take on the man with abilities unseen on Vegita sei. He put his finger to his lips and slowly made his way to the fight. When the male lunged at her tired mother, both Pan and the prince responded with different attacks.

"Gallic Gun!"

"Shadow Orb!"

Both attacks combined and blasted the man to ashes but the man got a beam of his own out. It would have hit the prince if Pan hadn't pushed him aside and taken it instead. She collapsed dead. She watched as her soul rose and rose to the sky.

Afterlife

Son Pan and Son Gomen appeared first in a void of emptiness.

Did they get our afterlife right?" Gomen asked as they started to walk around in the void.

"I have no idea but what the heck are you doing here Gomen? I was the one who died, not you," said Pan as she glared at him.

He shrugged. "When you died so did I. I guess that's how linked we are."

Pan sat in the foggy void. "Nothing to do but wait on Enma then."

The fog dissipated and another long-haired girl resembling Pan emerged from their left. She had a brown and silver tail.

"Where in Vegeta sei am I?" she muttered before her eyes met the blue of Pan's eyes.

Pan waved smiling. "We are waiting for Enma. Want to join us?"

She nodded and all three sat quietly observing one another. Gomen could see the differences in the girls but he was pretty sure they were the same one from different universes. How the hell is she here then? I thought when you died you went to your planet's afterlife? Where are we?

Metal doors opened from somewhere and all three turned their heads towards the sound of light footsteps. From the fog emerged an entity that was fully golden. Golden hair, golden eyes golden smile which none trusted.

"He clapped his hands and the void suddenly lit up with a thousand candles. He seemed to stare at the girls before glaring at Gomen who glared back.

"Where are we," Gomen asked not liking this individual.

"Between the living and the afterlife. None of you are truly dead and this was the only way to reach any of you," he said. "Your universes are heading towards a collision with each other and the only way to guarantee it from happening is to find the three dragon pendants."

"Why us?

Why were we taken for this big task?" asked Pan as she crossed her arms. She didn't trust this entity. Like her brother she could tell he was hiding something. Her twin also glanced unsurely at the man. She didn't believe a word of what he said.

"Here, let me show you a map of the universes," he said a ball of bright ki forming in his hands. Gomen and the two Pans stiffened for an attack but the ki instead was formed into a huge bright ball with points labeled univers 10 and 11. On the other side were universes 12 to 21.

"These are the known universes," he said pointing to the first half of the dots 1 to 11. "These have yet to be discovered by choronea and such do not play to the rules of what the universes should. You," he pointed to the twins. "Come from universe twenty. Pan shouldn't have a twin and you," he pointed to the other girl. "You come from universe 12. There should not be a living Vegeta sei let alone living amaryllis Saiyans. It was prohibited by the celestial council of Kais yet here you three stand."

"Amaryllis?" asked Gomen frowning

The man smiled and shrugged. "Not much is known about them. I suggest talking to an elder for any information about them. I do know it's the key to saving your universes."

"What are Amarillis? At least tell us that much kai," said Pan as the others nodded. The kai sighed but saw it was the only way to get their trust. "Long ago there existed the Amarillis. Saiyans with magical abilities and ties to other animals than an ape. They had ties with the elements. That is all I know."

"For a kai you're really vague," muttered Gomen glancing at Pan who nodded.

The other girl raised a brow. "I can tell more about my magic than that," she said rolling her eyes, her tail twitching behind her.

"Whether you can or not is not the problem at hand. Look at points 12 and 20," said the over-bright man. Gomen leaned in watching as both universes seemed on a collision course with one another. In a few decades maybe, the worlds would merge into one.

"Only one world may exist. This will bring both universes to war and only one will stand creating universe 21. As I said the dragon pendants can help in slowing down the merging. There are seven, like the dragon balls, and are spread throughout the universes. Only you three will sense them due to your blood."

"So what the heck do you want us to do? Search the universes for these pendants? Do you know how much time could change if we just up end universes?" Gomen said scoffing he had enough of this whacko and wanted to go home.

"I see I can't make you believe my words. The first alignment of the worlds, is coming soon. I will visit again then when you have proof," the man smirked as two bright lassos entwined around the three and dragged them backward with a yank. All three screamed as they free-fell through the air.
