Rajveer was running his fingers through Naina's hair making her smile. Even though they were locked in a dark jail cell, they were at peace as they were in each other's arms. Suddenly, they were startled as they heard their guards arguing amongst themselves. Raina could hear them dragging someone with them.
They got up from the floor and peeked through the bars of their cell. They saw the guards dragging a man towards their cell. The man was wearing an expensive suit and from the way he was being dragged, it was clear that he was unconscious.
"Ye kaun hai? Aur Lala ke admi isse aise kyu laa rahe hai?" Naina whispered to Rajveer. [Who do you think it is? And why Lala's men are dragging him in like that?]
"Pata nahi, Naina. Kuch samajhme nahi aaraha hai. Aaj kaal to Lala bokhlaye huya hai." Rajveer whispered with a shrug. "No idea, Naina. These days, Lala is a mess.]
Soon, they guards pushed the unconscious man into Raina's cell. Since it was a huge dark room with no windows, there was enough space for all three of them. The guards made a bed on the other side of the room and placed the man on it. Rajveer gestured towards one of the guards to ask who this man was.
"Pata nahi. Lala sir ne uthane ko kaha to hum utha laye." Replied the guard before leaving. [I don't know. Lala sir asked us to kidnap him so we did.]
Rajveer and Naina settled on their bed and waited until the guards had left the premises. Then, Rajveer got up and removed the black cloth that was covering the man's face. The man was young, seemed to be in his early thirties. After making sure the man was comfortable, he returned to his Naina.
A few hours later, the young man groaned and opened his eyes. Startled, the man glanced around the room as he sat up. As soon as his eyes fell on the older couple, the man gasped in shock. Arnav was surprised to find himself locked up in the same cell as his in-laws.
Rajveer and Naina were observing the man from the beginning, so his reaction to them was not hidden. Rajveer raised his eyebrow at the man as if to asked who he was.
"Main yaha kab aya?" Arnav asked, controlling his expression. He wasn't known as ASR for nothing. [When did I get here?]
Naina was amused by his attitude and his question. It was as if he knew he was going to be here. Naina showed him three fingers to let him know that he was brought here three hours ago.
Arnav nodded and sat leaning back against the wall comfortably. He proceeded to remove his shoes, socks, suit, and his waist coat. Then with a moan, he stretched his arms before relaxing back on the bed. Rajveer and Naina exchanged confused looks. They couldn't understand why this man looked so relaxed.
Half an hour later, Lala arrived with a smug look on his face. He had expected the businessman to panic finding himself locked up like this. But his smile dimmed when he found the young businessman just giving him a bored look. "Arnav Singh Raizada... suna hai ki bohot ki famous businessman ho. Apne aap ko iss haal me dekh ke dhakka to zaroor laga hoga. Hai na?" Lala taunted. [Arnav SIngh Raizada... I heard that you're a famous business man. You must've been shocked to see yourself in this situation, right?]
Arnav gave him a shark like smile. "Nope, I'm not surprised at all. In fact, my wife had told me to expect this when you called her last night." he replied casually. "Wo kya hai na... meri jaan ko adaat hai badtameez aur arrogant males se deal karne ki. To oh pehli hi unki next move easily guess kar leti hai." [Actually... my love is used to deal with rude and arrogant males. So, she can easily guess their moves.]
Lala grew angry with each of Arnav's statement. "Teri biwi tab to case wapas karegi na jab usse tere torture ki live video dekhne ko milega?" he threatened. [I'm sure your wife will take this case back when she sees a torture video of yours.]
Arnav laughed at his face. "Let me tell you a secret. Meri jo biwi hai na... wo koi phooljhari nahi hai. Nuclear bomb hai. Ek bar phati to teri puri duniya tabah kar degi. Tune to uski pati ko kidnap kiya hai. Tujhe kya lagta hai... wo tujhe chhor degi. To maut ka bhik mang raha hoga aur wo tujhe zabardasti zinda rakkhegi." [Let me tell you a secret. My wife is not a small firecracker. She's a Nuclear bomb. If she explodes, she'll destroy your whole world. You've kidnapped her husband. Don you really think she will spare you? YOu will beg for death and she will force you to keep living.] he told Lala with smug smile. "Aur raha meri kidnapping ki baat. Mujhe media king kehte hai. Tujhe kya lagta hai kya hoga agar media ko ye pata chal gaya ki Lala Gehlot ne ASR ko kidnap kiya hai. Tu to gaya." [And about my kidnapping. They call me the fashion king. If the media gets to know that ASR had been kidnapped by Lala Gehlot. What do you think will happen to you?]
"HUH! Koi sabut nahi hai ki maine hi tumhara kidnap karwaya hai. Pichle 24 saalo se inn dono ko kidnap karke rakkha hai. Inke dost to army me hai, lekin wo bhi aaj tak pata nahi kar paye inka location. Teri biwi kya karegi?" Lala told him arrogantly. [Huh! There's no evidence that I kidnapped you. I've these two imprisoned for last 24 years... and their friends are in Army. If they couldn't locate these two, then why do you think your wife will be able to?]
"Dekhte hai." Arnav said with a smirk. [WE'll see.]

"Usse kya lagta hai mere Arnavji ko utha kar leke jayega to hum kuch nahi karenga? Uski to itni buri halat karungi ki uski maa bhi usse pehchan nahi payegi." [What does he think that he will kidnap my Arnav and I won't do anything to him? I'll beat him so badly that even his own mother won't be able to recognize him.] Khushi ranted angrily as she munched on jalebis. She was sitting in one of the stalls on the other side of the court with Huda.
Huda had dressed up as an old man and was giving Khushi company. They had been discussing about the case when she received a call from Lala who told her that he had Arnav kidnapped. Even though they had expected something like this from Lala, Khushi was super pissed off.
"Tu chinta mat kar, Chhoti Phoolan. Iss bar hum usse chhorenge nahi." Huda promised. "Tu jalebi khaa." he told her. [Don't worry, our little bandit queen. This time we will deal with him permanently. You keep eating jalebies.]
Nodding, Khushi continued shoving jalebi after jalebi in her mouth. The next day was court's second date where she would submit another few papers of the Redbox as proof. Huda had managed to get her Rajveer's case's papers as well. She planned on submitting them at the court as well as both cases were interconnected. Arnav had told her last night to not worry about him and to do what was necessary to get Rajveer's honor back. Getting her parents back safe and sound was NOT their only goal. They wanted Rajveer to get back his honor, his uniform back that was snatched from him wrongfully.
But it didn't mean that Khushi was not worried. Arnav had a form of diabetes called 'Hypoglycemia'. Where patient needed to maintain strict diet and take medicines routinely. If Lala kept him hungry, then Arnav's sugar level would drop and it might cause him serious health problems.
"Hey Devi Maiyaa, humare pati ka dhyan rakkhna!" she prayed silently. [Hey goddess, please take care of my husband.]
Then her eyes fell in her hands where she was holding the last piece of jalebi. "Yaha hum bhukkhar ki tarha khaa rahe hai aur waha Arnavji kuch khaya bhi hoga ya nahi." [Arnav must be left hunry there and I'm eating here like this.] she thought before shoving the last piece in her mouth as well. "Ab khaa hi liya hai to last piece kyu chhor du." she thought with a grimace. [Now that I've eaten so many already, I think I should finish the last piece as well.]

Next morning.
As per their plan, Khushi submitted second half of that Redbox's contents along with some proof showing how Rajveer was investigating Naveen's case as well. Lala's spy informed him of the occurrences. These proofs presented today showed his involvement with the arms smuggling at KMA. Major Nair's involvement also showed in them.
Her action pissed Lala off more. As due to proofs submitted at the court, an arrest warrant had been issued in Lala's and Major Nair's name. He came to the jail cell where he had Arnav lock up with Raina.
"Your wife didn't mend her ways. Lagta hai usse tumhari koi firk nahi hai, ASR." Lala sneered. [I don't think she really cares for you.]
Arnav had been denied food last night, so he was feeling dizzy. But he didn't want Lala to know about his weakness. That's why instead of saying anything, he just smiled. Already irritated, Lala got provoked by his smile. He indicated towards his guards and they started beating Arnav. Due to weakness, he wasn't even able to fight back.
Rajveer had endured their beatings for years now. He never reacted. But today something told him to help Arnav. He had been observing Arnav since the moment he was brought in. So, when he started growing weak and dizzy, Rajveer noted that. He knew Arnav wouldn't be able to fight back. Gesturing to Naina, Rajveer jumped in and fought against the guards. He managed to push the guards away from Arnav's injured form.
Lala recorded the whole thing. "Ab dekhte hai ki wo iss case ko kaise nahi chhorti." and with that, he left along with his guards. [I'll see how she doesn't close this case.]
Once they were sure that they were alone, Naina rushed towards Arnav with a glass of water. "Rajveer sir, iski halat to bohot kharap hai." she whispered. [Rajveer sir, he's in a really bad shape.]
"Inki tabbyat bohot pehle se bigar rahi thi. kahi koi..." a light bulb lit up in Rajveer's mind, "Shit! Kahi inhe koi medical condition to nahi hai?" he guessed. [His health has been getting worse for a while... Shit! I hope he doesn't have a medical condition.]
"Oh no!" Naina whispered worriedly as she made Arnav drink water.
"Mmm... cho-chocolate... poc-pocket me..." Arnav mumbled.
Rajveer grabbed his suit's jacket and started searching in the inner pockets. He found many candies inside. It was as if someone had pre-planned Arnav's capture. There was also medicines sewed in along the seams. Rajveer also discover a few trackers sewed in at the bottom of the jacket. He gave Arnav a surprised look as he returned with a few candies. Unwrapping two candies, he put them in Arnav's mouth.
"Apko koi medical condition hai?" he asked in a low tone. [Do you have a medical condition?]
Arnav chewed on the candies, feeling much better as the dizziness decreased. He nodded his head and answered, "Diabetes hai mujhe." [I have diabetes.]
"You seem awfully prepared for someone who got kidnapped." Rajveer commented, suspiciously.
Arnav smiled. "I was. Wo kya hai na... meri pagal biwi ne bohot saalo se iss case ki liye preparations, planning, and plotting kiya hai. Kya hai na... uske rago me ek master strategist ka khoon dor ta hai." he remarked as he looked straight into Naina's eyes. [I was. Actually... my crazy wife had been preparing, planning, and plotting for this case for years now. After all, a master strategist's blood runs through her veins.]
Naina understood what he meant by his vague words. Controlling her emotions, she asked, "Kya naam hai apke biwi ka?" [What's your wife's name?]
"Mrs. Khushi Kumari Gupta Singh Raizada." Arnav replied with a proud smile on his face.
Happy tears rolled down Naina's eyes. Her daughter had gotten married and now she was fighting for her parents. "Kya apki biwi hi wo lawyer hai jo mere bhai, Captain Naveen ka case lar rahi hai?" she asked as if she didn't know. [Is your wife the same lowyer who's fighting my brother's case?]
"Captain Naveen apke bhai the? Mujhe nahi pata tha iss bareme." Arnav stated. [Captain Naveen was your brother? I didn't know that.]
"Apke wife ne ye hi case ko kyu chuna as her first case?" [Why did your wife chose this very case as her first case?] Rajveer asked. He felt like he was missing a huge piece of information. Arnav had just passed on a secret massage to Naina in front of him, and he didn't have a clue. "Who is this girl? And why is Naina so interested in her?" Rajveer wondered.
"Jab aap usse miloge to khud hi puch lena." Arnav replied to Rajveer's question. [You can ask her yourself when you meet her.]
"That I will definitely do." Rajveer stated dryly before returning to his bed.
Naina also left Arnav and joined Rajveer. She didn't asked anything more to Arnav as she didn't want to alert Lala any way.

After watching Arnav getting beaten up like this, super six roared in anger as Khushi broke into helpless tears. They knew something like this would happen but that didn't mean she liked any of these. She wanted to save her parents but not at the cost of her husband.
"Chhutki, tu chinta mat kar. Humne unki location track kar liya hai. Tune sahi jagah par wo trackers chhipaya hai. It was easy to find him. Hum aaj raat ko hi unn tino ko chhurane jayenge." Alekh assured her. [Little one, don't worry. We've already tracked his location. You have hidden those trackers in a good place. It was easy to find him. Tonight, we'll get them.]
"Yes, Khushi. Don't worry. Aaj hum unn tino ko wapas lakar hi dam lenge." Yudi told her as he wiped away her tears. [We'll rest after finding them.]
"Aaj raat sab sahi hojayega. Fir Chhoti Phoolan aur Bari Phoolan ek saath humare dimaag khayenge." Huda told her, mockingly. [Tonight everything will be okay. Then, our Bandit queen and our little bandit queen will eat our brains.]
"Haww... hum apki dimaag khate hai?" Khushi screeched, offended. [HAWWW... I eat your brain?]
"Ab jo sach hai to hai." Huda winked at her in return. [What's true is true.]

Next morning.
Rajveer watched as Arnav paced around the jail cell. He looked extremely agitated. Naina was also giving Arnav confused looks. "Everything okay, ASR?" Rajveer asked whispering.
Arnav bit down on his lower lips. After making sure the guards weren't around, he came to Raina and told them, "They were supposed to rescue us all last night. Yudi sir checked and recheck those trackers a thousand times to make sure they worked properly. I don't understand why they didn't come last night."
Rajveer's expression relaxed. "Yudi? Aap Yudi ko jante hai?" he asked. [You know Yudi?]
"I know all of them. Who else did you think hired Khushi to reopen this case?" Arnav lied.
"Did they check your clothes when they brought in? I mean specially when you were conscious about it?" Naina asked.
"No... at least not when I was in my senses." Arnav replied.
"They didn't check him when they left him with us." Naina reminded Rajveer and Arnav.
"SHIT! It's a trap! It's a trap to catch my cadets." Rajveer whispered.
"What the...!" Arnav stared at her in-laws in shock. If super six got caught, then his Khushi would be left alone in this fight. "No, sir. this trap is not for them. It's for my Khushi. She's the main player in this game." he whispered dreadfully.
"You're correct, Mr. Raizada!" said Lala from the other side of the bars. he had a smug grin on his face. "Dekho Rajveer, Naina! Main kisse saath laya hu!" [Rajveer! Naina! See who I've brought along!" he told them in a singsong tone. Then, he gestured to the guards.
The guards opened the cell door and dragged Rajveer, Naina, and Arnav out of their jail cell. They were taken to another cell where they found Yudi, Huda, Alekh, and Ali locked up.
"They came last night around 1 am to rescue you guys. But unfortunately, Lala koi kachcha khilari to nahi hai. Usse tabhi shaaq hogaya tha jab ye ASR panic karne ki jaga smug react kar raha tha. I knew there was something going on." [Lala is not a new player. I started getting suspicious when this ASR acted so smug instead of panicking.] Lala told them grinning smugly. "Bechare!" he shrugged.
"Tujhe kya lagta hai? Tu bach jayega? Khushi tujhe chhoregi nahi." Arnav snarled at Lala. [Do you think you'll be spared? Khushi won't leave you.]
"Achha? Let's call her then... Dekhte hai ki uski kya kehna hai." Lala said before dialing Khushi's number. [Let's see what she has to say about it.]
"Hello?" Khushi voice was heard loudly as Lala had his speaker on.
"Hello, Mrs. Raizada! Kaisi hai aap?" Lala asked mockingly. [How are you?]
"Tum?" [You?]
"Aww... surprised, are you? You must've thought these rats have already recued your husband, their friend, and teacher. But alas! I caught them." Lala boasted laughing.
"Tujhe lag raha hoga hum darr jayenge aur har man jayenge. Bilkul nahi. Issbar justice hogi. Chahe kuch bhi kyu naa ho jaye..." with that Khushi hung up. [If you think that I'll accept defeat and give up, then you're wrong. This time there will be justice. No matter what!]
Lala stared at his phone in confusion. He was expecting crying and pleading for the girl now that her plan failed, but she seemed to be a hard nut to crack. Annoyed, Lala ordered his guards to take everyone back to their cells.

Everyone returned to their cells, lost in thought. Rajveer was impressed by that lawyer's planning. It was a simple plan. If Lala had not gotten suspicious, it would've been successful. "What would she do now? Does she have any backup plans?" Rajveer asked softly.
"I don't know if she has any backup plans or not. But I know what she will be doing at this very moment." Arnav replied with a wry smile.
"Kya kar rahi hogi?" Naina asked, eager for any information about her daughter. [What?]
"Iss waqt meri biwi puri Delhi sheher ke liye jalebi bana rahi hogi aur apni Devi maiya se Lala ki complain kar rahi hogi. Fir oh sare jalebi wo akele hi khayegi while her crazy brain cooks up some kind of crooked plan." Arnav shared with an amused smile on his face. [At this very moment my wife must be making jalebies for whole Delhi while she complains to her goddess about Lala. Then she will eat said jalebies while her crazy brain cooks up some kind of crooked plan.]
"Wait... I don't understand one thing. How can you be so sure that your wife will make jalebis and not something else ?" Rajveer was confused. He didn't understand why Arnav's wife will be cooking anything instead of making a plan.
Arnav snickered. "Making jalebis is my wife's stress buster. She does this whenever she's stressed or worried or nervous about something. Jalebis are her most favorite thing about life after her best friend, her Devi maiya." He shared.
Naina giggled. "Shashi ne hi mithai banana sikhaya hoga na?" she guessed. [Shashi must've been the one who taught her to make sweets, right?]
"Ji. Jalebi hi o pehli mithai hai jo babuji ne usse banana sikhaya tha. Khushi says that's one of her fondest memories." Arnav replied. [Yes. jalebi was the first sweet she learned to make.]
"Shashi kaun hai aur tum usse kaise janti ho?" Rajveer asked Naina, shrewdly. [Who is Shashi and how do you know him?]
"I'll tell you about him when it's the right time." She replied cupping his face lovingly before she leaned in a placed a kiss on his cheek.
Rajveer felt himself blushing at her action. "Naina, kya kar rahi ho?" [Naina, what are you doing?] he hissed, blushing brighter by seconds. He glanced at Arnav and saw the young man had a wishful sad look on his face. "Sab thik hai?" [Everything okay?] Rajveer asked, snapping Arnav out of his thoughts.
Watching Raina romance like that had made Arnav feel a deep sadness for his mother. If his father had loved his mother even a small amount as Rajveer loved Naina, then he wouldn't have been orphaned in such a way. At Rajveer's question, he looked at him and gave him a sad smile. "Aap dono ko dekh ke yehi soch raha tha ki kash mere father bhi meri maa se itna hi pyaar karte. Then he wouldn't have cheated on her. Aur meri maa aaj zinda hoti." he shared. [I was just thinking that... I wish my father also loved my mother like you did. Then he wouldn't have cheated on her. And my mother would've been alive.]
"Are you okay, beta?" Naina asked him lovingly. He was after all her son-in-law.
"Ji... Main thik hu." [Yeah... I'm okay.] Arnav gave him a fake smile before he laid back on his bed and got lost in his thoughts.

It was around 5 pm that day when one of the guards ran up to Lala. This place was built in the caverns under one of Lala's smaller farm houses. That's why super six hadn't been able to find Raina for so many years. Seeing his guard running towards him in such a hurry, Lala asked, "Kya huya?" [What is it?]
"Sir, wo... wo bahar ek larki ayi huyi hai. She's demanding to be let in. Kaha ki aap se milna hai." the guard informed. [Sir, there's a girl outside. She wants to meet you.]
Lala frowned as no one knew where he was. Ever since an arrest warrent had been issued on his name, he had been hiding here. He didn't tell anyone where he was. So, he was confused how this girl knew where to find him. "Kya naam bataya?" he asked. [What's her name?]
"She gave me this card." the guard said handing him a card.
Lala's eyes widened seeing the card. It was that criminal defense lawyer, Khushi Raizada's card. He stood up in disbelief. "Did she come alone?' he asked the guard.
"Yes sir."
Lala started pacing around the room. "Ye larki akele kyu ayi yaha? Usse to police ya fir apne kuch log saath lana chahiye tha? Pagal hai kya?" [Did she come here alone? Why didn't she bring the police or anyone else with her? Is she out of her mind?] he wondered aloud. "Jake andar lekar ao usse." [Go and bring her inside.] he ordered.
After the guard left, Lala got out of his room and went to the common area. "Your wife is here!" he announced reaching Raina and Arnav's jail cell. "Wo pagal hai kya? Akele chali ayi sher ke gufa me?" [Tell me... is she crazy? Why did she come here alone?] he taunted Arnav before walking towards Super six's cell to taunt them as well.
Arnav tensed. Even he couldn't understand what she was thinking. "Buaji sahi kehti hai. Ye larki sach me Sanka devi hai. Paagal larki akeli kyu ayi? Khushi, kya soch rahi ho?" Arnav mumbled, worried. [Aunt is right. She really is a trouble maker. Why did this crazy girl come alone? Khushi, what are you thinking?]
Naina placed a hand on his shoulder. "Shant raho, beta. Ho sakta hai ki usne kuch planning karke hi ayi ho?" she pointed out. [Calm down, son. Maybe she has a plan?]
"Waise... 'Sanka devi' matlab?" Rajveer asked. [Snaka devi means?]
"Sanka devi means "Miss Eccentric", "Miss Crazy", "Lady of Troubles", etc. It's her aunt's pet name for her." Arnav explained.
Rajveer wanted to ask why Arnav's wife had such a pet name but they all heard Lala greeting Khushi. They stepped up to the bars of their cell and watched the scene playing in front of them.
"Welcome, Mrs. Raizada! Aap to bari hi ajeeb nikli. Sher ki gufe me akele chali ayi without any backup? Justice paneka ye kaunsi naya tarika hai?" Lala mocked Khushi. [Welcome, Mrs. Raizada! You're really strange. You came into the Lion's cave without any backup. What way is this to get justice?]
Rajveer observed the girl who had declared war against this monster. She looked to be in her early twenties. She was in a pair of distressed jeans with a off white crop top and a jeans jacket. She didn't look like a lawyer. Instead, she looked like a college kid on a picnic.
"Hello, Mr. Gehlot. Akheri tumse humari mulakat ho hi gayi. Aur rahi sher ki gufa ki bat to... humare sare sher to waha jails me band hai. Mujhe yaha koi aur sher to dikh hi nahi raha hai." she replied with a bored look on her face. [Hello, Mr. Gehlot. Finally, we met. As for the lion... well my lions are behind those jail cells. I don't see any other lion here.]
"Wow... itni ghamand?! Why do you think you will be able to do anything when you're in my den? Even if I kill you here... in front of your loved one, no one will be able to do anything to me." [So much arrigance!] Lala boasted. He was irritated that this 5.6 feet girl was challenging him.
"Tumse nipat ne liye hume kisi aur zaroor nahi hai." [I don't need ANYONE to deal with you.] Khushi stated, "Hum akele hi kafi hai." [I am enough.] she added folding her arms over her chest.
"Oh really?! Can't you see the guards here? Tumhe sach me lagta hai ki tum akeli kafi ho?" [Do you really think you're enough alone?] Lala laughed in her face.
Khushi smiled. "I'll give 25 crores each of you... if you side with me!" she announced loudly. Her voice echoed through the cavern walls.
Arnav grinned at his wife's intelligence as he watched all the guards looking at each other before going to stand behind Khushi. Rajveer and Naina gaped at what just happened. They knew money meant power, but they never expected to witness such a scene. Even Super six stared at her in wonder. The way Khushi had wielded her power left everyone shocked.
"Wow, man! I never thought Khushi would use her husband's money like this. Brilliant!" Yudi complimented.
Alekh felt shocked though. It was in this very moment he realized why Khushi married Arnav. Alekh was the one who had told Khushi that Money was power and Lala used that power to trap his enemies. He hadn't expected Khushi to take such a drastic step though. "Iska matlab... Chhutki ne Arnav se paiso ke liye shaadi kiya?" He blurted out. [Does that mean Khushi married Arnav for his money?]
"What?! Oye Kaidi, tu kaisi baate bol raha hai?" [What are you saying?] Huda scolded him, "Tu bhool gaya kya ki Khushi Rajveer sir aur Phoolan ki beti hai. Wo aisa kabhi..." but he was interrupted by Alekh. [Are you forgetting that she's our Rajveer sir and Naina's daughter. She would never...]
"Kar sakti hai. If it meant that she would have the means to save her parents." [She would.] Alekh stated with pain filled eyes. He felt like it was his fault for filling Khushi's mind with such an idea.
"Alekh bhai, aap aisa mat sochiye. Arnav beta aur Khushi ek dusre se apni jaan se bhi jyada pyaar karte hai. I'm sure Arnav being rich is just a coincidence and nothing else. After all, Khushi knew Arnav well before she knew about her parents." [Alekh, don't think like that. Arnav and Khushi loves each other a lot.] Ali pointed out.
"Aisa hi ho to achha hai." Alekh mumbled at they watched the scene unfolding in front of them. [I hope that's the truth.]
Lala was stunned. He wasn't expecting this. When his PA had told him that Arnav was rich, he wasn't expecting Arnav to be so rich that his wife could casually throw around 500 crores. His veins filled with ice as he watched all 20 of his guards standing behind Khushi, against him.
"You... you.." Lala stammered.
Khushi smiled at him before gesturing towards one of the guards to get everyone of their cells. Two guards ran and opened the doors of both cells.
"What do you plan on doing now? Huh? Police ko bulaogi mujhe arrest karne?" Lala scowled darkly. [Will you call the police now to arrest me?]
"Nahi. Tumse to hum khud niptenge." [No. I'll deal with you myself.] Khushi stated and before anyone could react, she moved like a cobra and kicked Lala in his chest.
This was the moment she had taken those karate classes for. For last six years, she had practiced religiously for this. She wanted to get all her anger out of her through Lala's beating. He was the reason she was called orphan for many years. he was the reason she wasn't with her parents. He was the reason her parents didn't even know her. She continued beating Lala like she was possessed. With one last punch, Khushi broke his nose and shoved him away from her.
Lala laughed at her. "Marlo... jitna marna hai marlo. Because once I reach the police station, you won't get the chance again. Do you have any idea how many and how extensive my contacts are? Wo mujhe bacha lenge. Tum mera kuch nehi bigar paogi." [Beat me as much as you want. Because once I reach the police station, you won't get the chance again. Do you have any idea how many and how extensive my contacts are? They will save me. You won't be able to do anything.] he mocked as he wiped blood from his mouth. He thought his comment would provoke Khushi but instead she laughed.
"You think your contacts are going to save you? You're right. Wo tujhe zaroor bachayenge lekin tab... jab tu police station pohchega. Aur hum to tumhe police station pohchnehi mahi denge." she told him. [You think your contacts are going to save you? You're right. They will definitely save you... if you reach the police station. But I won't let you reach the police station.]
"What do you plan on doing? You will kill me? Sabke samne maregi mujhe?" Lala laughed, still not taking Khushi seriously. [Will you kill me in front of everyone?]
Khushi huffed out a laugh. "Lala Gehlot, tum shayed bhool rahe ho... Ye India hai. India me agar pachas log kanoon ko apne haat me le aur kisi ko mare to usse murder nahi... public outrage kehte hai." she told him. Stepping back from him, she gave her parents and uncles a look. [Lala Gehlot, I think you forgot that it's India. In India, if someone gets beaten by fifty people then it doesn't count as murder. It gets addressed as 'public outrage'.]
They didn't have to take time to understand what she meant. 27 years of anger ran through them as they gathered around Lala and started beating the hell out of him. Khushi gestured towards the guards as well and they joined in with the rest of them. Khushi knew this was the guards wouldn't be able to confess against anyone.
Tears rolled down her eyes as Khushi stumbled back. She had never been this vindictive. "Hey Devi maiya, hume maaf kar diziye. Aap to jante hai ki humne ye saab kyu kiya." [Hey goddess, please forgive me. You know why I did this, right?] she prayed to her bes friend. Suddenly, she felt an arm wrapping around her shoulders. She turned her head to find her husband. "Arnavji!" she started crying seeing him so injured.
"Khushi, please don't feel guilty. Remember, tumhare Devi maiya ko bhi Kaali ka roop lena para tha Mahisasur ko marne ke liye. I'm sure your best friend understands why you had to do what you did. You don't need to feel guilty about it." Arnav told her lovingly.
"Par, Arnavji..."
"Khushi, meri jaan, Iss Lala ne tumhare nirdosh mama ko Deshdrohi karar karwaya, tumhare parents ko itne saalo tak kaid rakkha, tumhare uncles and aunts ko mentally torture kiya, and most importantly, he betrayed our beloved country. Iske saath to yehi hona tha." Arnav told her firmly. [Khushi, my love, this Lala had trapped you Naveen uncle, kept your innocent parents imprisoned for so many years, mentally tortured your uncles and aunts, and most importantly, he betrayed this country. He deserves this.]
"He also hurt my husband. Aise kaise chhor deti." Khushi mumbled before hugging her husband tightly. "Aap thik ho na? I'm sorry. Humare waza se apko kitni chot pohchi."she cried. [Are you okay? You got hurt because of me.]
"I'm absolutely fine. Aur ye sab maine tumhare liye thori kiya. I had to impress my in-laws." Arnav told her with a naughty wink. Khushi giggled at his statement and shook her head, amused. [I didn't do this for you. I did this to impress my in-laws.]

A/N:::: How was Lala's punishment? Yes, this scene was inspired by the movie 'Mardaani'. I loved that scene in the movie and thought Lala should also get beaten similarly.
Did you like Arnav's bonding moments with Raina?
How do you think Rajveer would react after knowing Khushi's identity?
