As the sun finally rose like it always did every other day. The washer orange from its glow, the skyscrapers surrounding the apartment block glittered like diamonds. The city was only starting to wake up, people getting on their lives. Waking up, eating breakfast, driving to work or to take a morning walk.
With the exception of one boy.
Messy brown haired was sprawled on his pillow, a slight drool was coming from the side of his lips as his small hands were gripping with his blankets. As if he was afraid someone might took it away from him.
He continues to sleep peacefully whilst another figure slowly approach his defenseless state. Snoring slightly, scratching his cheeks lightly when he felt them being irritated.
A smirk appeared on one's mouth before he started to hit the sleeping figure furiously with pillows. Few fluffy feathers coming out from the pillows as he did so.
"Ow! Ivan stop it!." Harry's startled shout fell into deaf ears as pillows was repeatedly hit his face, irritating his eyes as he can't dodge them easily.
"Stop! Ivan!." Harry scowled when his brother had the gall to laugh at him, "Argh." Harry used every strength he have – which wasn't much since he just woke up – and tried to switch their position, using his legs to trap his brother. He took another pillow and used it to cover Ivan's face, in attempt to hopefully suffocate him.
The idiot just continue to laugh at him.
"I give! I give!," As Ivan shrieked as he tried to squirm his out of the pillow.
Harry dropped himself beside his brother, his legs was still on Ivan, making no attempt of removing any time soon. "Why're you waking me so early in the morning?!." Harry slurred whilst stretching his arms.
"Because I wanted to." Ivan said with a cheeky grin.
Harry tried to stay mad at his brother, he really did. But he couldn't help but to smile back at his brother. He's used with Ivan's antics, he took it from their Dad after all.
Harry and Ivan only have one thing in common. Their identical looks. They practically looked the same, except for their eye color. Harry had green eyes from Lily while Ivan had brown eyes from James. Aside from that they practically had the same features as they refuse to have a different hair cut. They took pleasure of confusing people on who's who.
Aside from their looks, they're completely different in everything.
Ivan loves to go outdoors whilst Harry prefers to stay inside and read books.
Ivan wasn't academically gifted whilst Harry excel on his studies.
Ivan isn't a fan of sweet whilst Harry has a sweet tooth.
Ivan is a social butterfly whilst Harry a introvert.
Despite their differences, the two were still close. Practically inseparable, playing together, sharing a bed, refusing to eat without the other, taking care of each other when one of them is sick, and going on adventures together.
Going on adventures is basically a code for, as Snape likes to translate it, Getting in trouble. The youngest's godfather would often say, to which the boys responded with smiles, Harry's sheepish, Ivan's taunting that always earned him a glare from Snape.
"Looks like someone had woken up in the wrong side of the bed." Ivan whispered as Harry covered his mouth to hold his giggles.
Ivan loved adventure as much as Harry did. Ivan knew how to have fun, coming up with ideas that were bound to get them in trouble but Harry still went along with them as they were too good to resist.
But, as they say 'nobody is perfect' so Ivan had his moments.
"Harry." poke.
Like the times when he always use his I'm-the-oldest card on him so he could escape his chores.
"Harry." poke. poke.
Like when Ivan always coax him with sweet so he could do his homeworks for him, Lily would always twist their ears for that whenever she caught them.
"Harry." poke. poke. poke.
Or just like now. Ivan seems to have a hard time understanding that a person lying on their bed, wrapped in their blankets, meant that it was sleepy-time and not 'annoy-Harry-time'.
Harry could feel hands grabbing onto his shoulders as he was being shook so hard that he could feel his head bouncing off the mattress like a trampoline.
"Harry! Harry! Wake up! Wake up, you sleepyhead!." Harry had no choice but to open his eyes as he could already feel a headache coming, "You really don't know when to give up, do you?." he grumbled and slowly rub his eyes.
"No." The oldest brother cheekily replied as Harry hit Ivan with a pillow just to wipe those grin on his lips.
"Mom said I'm the hardest one to wake up in the morning, I feel like she've never try to wake you up." Ivan teased and pulled the blanket off them. Slowly getting off the bed as he fold the blankets for his brother, "I just don't like waking up in the weekends, you know that." Harry retorted as he squint to find for his glasses.
Ivan finally took mercy on his brother and hand him his glasses, not before mocking him and imitate him his was of squinting, "How many fingers is this?." He asked and shove two fingers infront of Harry's face.
"Blurred eyesight and blindness aren't the same, git." Harry grumbled as he stand straight, twisting his body back-and-forth in order to shake off the drowsiness.
"What are you planning?." Harry bluntly accused as he slid his fluffy slippers, as he strolled towards the bathroom.
"Why do you think I'm planning something?." Ivan called out after him with a sing-song voice, Harry could practically hear the grin on his voice.
Harry rolled his eyes as he slid the door closed. He sighed as he gently caress his head, he got a headache with how hard Ivan shook him earlier. Only to realize that it wasn't his head that was merely hurting, it was his scar as he looked down to his bloodied hands with horrid expression.
"There's my other pup!." Sirius exclaimed and pounce on Harry for a hug.
Harry laughed as he was being spin around, getting tickle by Sirius's hands tucked under his armpits.
"It was like yesterday when we're all panicking because Lily gave birth with the both of you and now –" Sirius dramatically wiped the imaginary tears on his face, "Today you're going to receive let –"
"Sirius." Lily's stern voice interrupted him from his speech as he gave her a sheepish smile. Sorry, he mouthed as he tried to correct his mistake, "Today, both of you, will receive – gifts!." he cheered.
"Way to state the obvious, Uncle Paddy." Ivan interjected with puffed cheeks as he tried to insert every sausages into his mouth, leaving nothing for the others. "Ivy, eat your vegetables too." Lily scolded with furrowed brows as Ivan seem to not touch the vegetables.
"Leave the birthday boy alone, Lily." James defended Ivan as he added another batch of sausage on Ivan's plate, fresh from the pan. Ivan beamed as he immediately tried to inhale the juicy meat – that turns out to be a bad idea as it burnt his tongue.
"Hot!." Ivan complained with his tongue out, his eyes widen when he saw it smoking a bit.
Harry snickered as unlike his brother he do enjoy something healthy as he served himself some porridge, and made himself a sandwich. Adding more tomatoes for good measure.
As Harry munched a mouthful of his sandwich, taking his time with every bite. He paused when he noticed his parents, along with Sirius and Remus dressed up in a casual clothes. As Harry was about to voice his questions, Ivan beat him to it before he could even swallow, "Where're you guys going?."
"Correction, where are we going." Sirius grinned as Ivan continue to be oblivious with the obvious implications within Sirius's words.
Remus hid his smile with the cup on his lips, "You and Harry will come with us, of course." Remus said slowly as his smile widen when Harry and Ivan practically beamed on their seats.
"Did you two really thought we're going to leave you two on your own – on your birthday?." Sirius mocking hurt-gasped earned him snickers from the tykes, "There's a newly opened zoo not too far away from here. Your Uncle Moony saw it on his way from school." James explained as the two ran back to their room to get ready.
"Don't run on the stairs!." Lily shouted after them.
"Summer is ending." James stated as he realized that he wasn't feeling unbearably warm without the aircon on. "Yeah." Remus agreed with a grimace as he realized he again will have to spend the remaining ten months of the year with annoying sixth-graders.
Remus did managed to be a teacher. But he teaches the subject 'Math' - basically a muggle term for Arithmancy. "Preteens are weird."
"Well, yeah." Sirius snorted. "They're too old to be labeled as a child but too young to be called as teenagers. Of course they're going to act weird – I told you, you should have teach third years instead."
Remus shivered when he remembers his sufferings with a bunch of fifteen years old girls, "I prefer preteens than hormonal teenagers, thank you very much."
"Speaking of school . . ." James cleared his throat as he turned to his wife, "Lily, you do remember that they'll be receiving their letters today, right?." James reminded her with a gentle and hushed voice.
"I know. Like you, I had also received letters." She snapped at him, she knew that one day they'll have this conversation but she doesn't want to ruin her boys' birthday with a foul mood, "We'll talk later." She dismissed him as she stand up whilst tying her hair in a bun.
James looked as if he wasn't ready to drop the subject but interrupted by loud hurried footsteps, "We're ready!." Ivan exclaimed whilst he attempt to fix his hair.
"Are those hippos?." Ivan whispered to his twins, as he pull the two of them towards the large mammals. They had a bit of holding hands whenever they're outside the house. Afraid they might lose the other.
"They're so much larger than I thought." Harry whispered back as he leaned on the thick glass, trying to get a closer look on the sleeping mammals.
"What are you two freaks doing here?." Both Ivan and Harry matched a scowl as they turn around to face the voice.
"Obviously, we were trying to get a better view of the sleeping hippo over there. But we clearly don't have to trouble ourselves anymore since we already have one right infront of us now." Ivan taunted as he smirk when he saw Dudley ran to his parents with red bright face.
"He's really good at ruining our birthdays, isn't he?." Harry grumbled as he remembers last year when they were about to blow their cake, Dudley tried to blow the cake before them. Luckily, Sirius was fast enough to cover his mouth with a paper plate saving the candles for them.
"I think we should warn Mom and Dad about them being here, don't you think?." Harry suggested as gently squeeze his twins's hands.
"Yeah, you're right."
As they head back to the bench where their parents' were previously sitting, they weren't surprised when they see Lily and James arguing with Petunia and Vernon.
"We got here first!." Petunia hissed at her sister, as her knuckles were starting to turn white with how tight she grip on her purse.
"Way to sound like a child, Petunia." Lily taunted as her sister stomp her feet on the ground to prove her point. "Look, just leave us alone and we won't bother you." James calmly interrupted, his arms were wrapped protectively around Lily's waist.
Petunia looked at James's offending hands around Lily bitterly before she stormed off, Vernon squeaked before he called after, he was clearly afraid of being left alone with James and Lily.
"You know Harry, until now, I still don't understand why the Dursleys hate us so much." Ivan mused as he realized that Dudley looked a lot like Vernon when he was squealing in fear.
"I gave up trying to understand out a long time ago, Ivy. You should too." Harry muttered as he went to back inside the zoo to admire another type of animal. But he paused when he heard Ivan calling out for him.
"I'm starting to feel hungry, Harry. Do you mind if you go first? I'll catch up, I promise." Ivan dashed when Harry gave him a positive nod.
As Harry mindlessly stroll down the narrow corridor, he noticed how the crowd seem to make a space for him – but he immediately just assume that it was a coincidence, how they seem to be in dazed as they swiftly make a way for him, he didn't commented on that.
He halted as he realized there was a thick glass infront of him, green orbs analyzing the jungle-like confinement. He wonders what kind of animal this one contains – Harry raised a intrigued brow as he was suddenly face-to-face with a snake.
Harry wasn't sure what kind of snake it was but its skin was color green, and yellow eyes, deflated eyes getting dilated once in a while as the snake seem to be weary of his presence too. He estimated that the snake was as thick as his arms, and he approximately assume that it was atleast seven foot long.
He made a mental note to research about snake later once he gets home.
"Hey!." Harry broke his locked gaze with fhe the snake as he looked where the high-pitched voice came from, as it turns out, a brat was trying to get another snake's attention to himself. Sadly for him, the snake he was interested to was asleep.
"It must be horrible, huh?." Harry muttered, he knew he's just talking to himself as the snake couldn't possibly understand or if he could, he wouldn't hear him with the loud chatters around him and the thick glass that separate them.
"Being gawked at everytime and always getting your sleep disturb just because." he went on as he lifted his hands to trace the snake's eyes over the glasses.
Snakes doesn't look that intimidating as movies make them out to be, Harry thought to himself, Then again, maybe if there wasn't any glass that separate us – I would probably be scared too.
And as if someone was trying to prove a point to him. He was startled when he saw the brat fall inside the serpent's lair. He noticed that the glass was gone, as he was about to test that himself by going inside.
He was suddenly being pulled to the side by twin.
"Are you okay?." Ivan's worried voice made Harry feel uneasy as he tried to soothe his brother by hugging him.
Harry could hear behind him as a feminine voice shrieked, it was probably the brat's mother screaming for help.
"How did he even managed to go inside?." Ivan whispered to Harry's ear as he gently rubbed his back, "The glass disappeared." Harry tried to explain.
"Harry . . . you need to change your lens."
Harry knew it would be a waste of breathe if he'll argue with Ivan when saw that the glass wall was back to its original place, as if it didn't disappear earlier.
But atleast it was proven that even if there was nothing between him and the snake, he didn't any ounce of fear in him.
"You must be so scared, being so closed with those snakes." James practically hissed his last words as he protectively wrapped his arms around Harry's neck. Playing with his hair as Harry's face was buried to his chest.
"Can someone please, please, explain how did that kid managed to get in." Sirius said in frustration as his eyes were also laced were worry, "I'm surprised that – that kid didn't have any fatal injuries. Snakes are venomous."
"Not all snakes, Paddy. Some specific snake could be considered to be pets." Harry couldn't help but to point out.
Sirius looked offended as he retorted, "At the end of the day, a snake will always be a snake, Harry."
His family was hovering him the moment Ivan told him how scared he was. Ivan had obviously misinterpret his actions when he hugged as he thought that he was scared – when in truth, Harry was only trying to ease his brother's worries and not his fear.
"Are you sure you're okay Harry? No injuries whatsoever?." Lily asked him again, as her hands started to play with his brown locks.
It always calms him when someone do that his family – especially Ivan – knew that. As Lily's slender hands continue to work their magic on his hair tugging it gently and make a small braid with – no one could blame Harry if he whined like a puppy when Lily just suddenly stopped.
"Come on, pup. Let's go home so you could rest." Remus's voice had urged him to leave her mother's warmth.
Harry knew that Lily will take him to a doctor, to check if he was traumatized – that's just how protective she was with them. But he refused to go to a doctor. That would be a waste of his energy and waste of money as he was certainly that he wasn't injured or hurt physically and mentally.
"I don't wanna go to a doctor, Mom. I just wanna go home and rest." Harry reasoned before her Mom could even suggest it, his eyes gleamed in delight when he easily convinced his mother to go home.
"I assume this is not one of your best birthdays?." James sadly stated as he escort his family to the parking lot, "I thought it'd be a good idea to spend your birthday at the zoo – but no, Fate decided to again prove how much of bitch she can be." He pitifully whispered to himself as he went to the driver's seat.
"It's alright, Dad. It's no one's fault that Piggy and his Piggy father was there." Ivan reasoned as he climbed to Lily's lap whilst Harry settled on between Sirius and Remus.
"I was hoping after we visit the zoo we'll go to the park for picnic . . ." James trailed off as he mourned for his sons' birthday, it was supposed to be perfect! They were supposed to have fun in the zoo, and go to the mall to buy the twins whatever they want. He hates how the day turns out.
"We could still do that – soon." Lily emphasize her point as she rather have her sons back home where she's certain they're safe. "I just want to open my present and go to sleep, Ma." Ivan said weakly as drowsiness attempt to crept his mind.
"You can lean on us pup, we don't mind." Sirius deep gentle voice help Ivan to lull him to sleep, he could feel Remus' hands slowly pulling towards them, urging him to a more comfortable position.
"Sleep tight, Ivy." Remus' soothing voice guide him to a dreamless sleep.
Harry sighed as he watched his older brother fall asleep, he had been so energetic earlier and running around. Pulling him with every stall he saw and practically talk his ears out.
"Ma, does a glass have a limited time to be solid?." Harry's innocent question earned him bewildered looks, "No, sweetie, solid things remains solid unless you melt them. Even if you break a glass, the pieces are still solid." Lily quietly explained to him. Even though her older son is a heavy sleeper, she don't want to take the risk interrupting his rest.
"It's just . . . I thought I saw the kid fall inside. He fell . . . as if there weren't any glass to stop him at all."
"Hm – " There was a long pause, as if Lily was careful with her next words. "Are you saying that the glass vanished?."
Harry nodded meekly, his eyes was full of unsaid questions.
"But that's impossible, the glass was there when the staffs checked – I felt the glass was there." Sirius muttered as a he force a frown marred his face to look confused. He knew that wasn't impossible, with a little help of magic could make everything appear and disappear, but little Harry didn't have to know that, yet. "Maybe there was a hole?." Remus helped as he also was suspicious.
"Maybe," Harry really wanted to believe his Uncle Moony. But how could there be a hole in the first place? He didn't heard anything shattered. But for the sake of mind he didn't voice his remaining questions as he felt James' parked the car into their garage.
"Wake up, Ivan." Lily gently brush Ivan's hair.
Harry yawned softly, feeling a bit drowsy as he climbed off the car. Patiently waited for James to open the door, he was startled when the supposedly locked door opened, revealing his godfather staring down at him with narrowed eyes.
"Uncle Sev!." Harry exclaimed as he latched his arms between the man's waist, giving him no time to dodge him or to stop him. Snape tense in his arms, as if he was having a hard time believing that he was the one being embraced but eventually, his arms slowly wrapped itself around the kid.
"You better enjoy that hug while it lasts, Harry. You know how much it hurts Snivellus to give affection to anyone." And of course, Sirius was there to ruin Snape's mood.
Snape sneered as it was not the first time he wished his glare had the power to incinerate. "Always a displeasure to see you, Snivellus." Sirius said with a mocking grin as he went inside.
"Black." Snape said with so much disgust and vile in his voice that was more than enough to make an outsider run for their lives.
"Now, now, gentlemen, let's go inside." Lily interrupted as she guide Severus and Harry to the living room. Giving Snape a gentle smile.
"Uncle Sev, I think we should ready the guestroom for you. We haven't clean it since our friends stayed for a sleepover." Harry suggested as he snuggled into Snape's side. "No need to trouble yourself, brat. I will stay for long – You know how allergic I am to dogs." Snape practically hissed his last sentence as Remus took a seat beside Harry.
"Eh? But we don't own any dog, Uncle Sev." Ivan confusedly stated and squashed himself between his brother and Remus.
"Look closer, boy. I'm certain that you'll find something." Severus sneered with a strange emotion in his voice.
"Harry, here's your presents and start opening them so you could eat dinner and sleep. I'm sure you're tired. After that you could eat dinner first and sleep early. Dealing with snakes earlier had taken a toll on you, imagine if you had to deal with a fouler one." Sirius taunts earned him a hiss and a smack on his arm.
"Open mine first!." Ivan exclaimed and shove a small box to Harry's chest, the adults didn't expect the frown on the older twin's face, "We promise not to get anything for each other." and push the box away.
"You promised, I didn't." Ivan said stubbornly.
Harry still looked reluctant but he had not choice but to accept the bracelet, as he opened the small box. He unconsciously raised his brows slightly as it revealed two identical bracelets.
As Harry raised one of the bracelet to inspect it, he noticed that the letters 'H' and 'I' was engraved in the middle.
"'H'.'I'?." Sirius confusedly muttered.
Sirius took the liberty and took the other bracelet from the box, he didn't even flinch nor dodge as he earned another hit on his arm.
Harry saw that the other bracelet had the same initials. "I was expecting that this one would have 'hello'." Sirius lamely joked.
"It's their initials, idiot." Remus whispered but he said it with so much passion he unconsciously raised his voice.
"Oh."
"Here." Snape impatiently thrust two box to the twins. It was obvious what box he used his time and effort wrapping and the one he just wrapped. The one above Harry's lap was wrapped in a elegant green with silver laces, small paper laying on top of it.
'From Uncle Severus, To Harry'.
Whilst Ivan's was wrapped in a cheap wrapping.
"It's . . . heavy." Was Harry's first impression to his present.
"Uncle Sev are you sure mine's isn't empty? It feels so light." Ivan complained and shake the box recklessly, his doubts was erased when he heard shook from inside.
Ivan excitedly opened the box. As distasteful as it was, Remus couldn't deny the twinge of amusement watching the oldest twin, the way Ivan tore the presents was almost like watching an animal going at its living prey.
Reminding him of a hobby he once had.
"A ball? . . ." Ivan said confusedly as he brought up the ball to inspection, "You have mention you love a sports that have something with ball in it." Snape nonchalantly filled the blanks.
"But, Uncle . . . I like to play Basketball not Volleyball." Ivan complained as he stare at blue-yellow ball on his hands.
"It's bouncing, therefore, could be use as a ball. I see nothing wrong about it."
Sirius laughed loudly as he interjected, "Now, now, Ivy. You know how your Uncle Snivellus could be sometimes. He just couldn't differentiate balls with that big nose of his – it covers most of his eyes, y'know."
Harry knew that if he wasn't snuggling with Severus. The man would've do something about Sirius' comment.
Harry decided that it was a good time to open his gift as to create a distraction. As he put down the lid of the box, he was met by books, many kinds of books. Harry admired the thick covers as he gasped when he recognized it, "Isn't this a limited edition?!." Harry couldn't help but to exclaim.
"How did you get these, Uncle?!." Harry beamed as he hugged them close to his chest.
"It would take time if I would explain how I managed to get you that books. What's important is if you had liked them?." Sirius looked disbelieved as he could swear Severus sounded hopeful.
"Like them?!." Harry shrieked, "I love them!." Harry practically pounced at Snape as he cheered that he could finally add some more books to his book shelves, "I think I should get you a book shelf for your next birthday." Severus drily commented as he was still tensing in the embrace.
"Put those aside and open mine next!." Sirius rudely pushed the books away but he was careful enough not to damage them. "Here!." Again, presents was being shoved into the twins hands.
Ivan practically broke everyone's hearing as he launched himself to Sirius's arms. "A video game – the lastest ones?!." He screamed to Sirius face as his grin was plastered on his lips.
"Mhm." Sirius chuckled as he ruffled his godson's hair.
Harry was also grateful with his gift, as he smiled brightly to Sirius. "I just noticed that your glasses was crooked and it was starting to get you uncomfortable to wear." he explained as Harry asked him to put the glasses on him.
The glasses was basically just like his old ones, same color, same roundness, but he noticed that the lens was improved. When he asked how Sirius did that without taking him to a check up, he just shrugged and say, "Magic?." If he had warning glances from Lily, Harry and Ivan didn't noticed.
"Last but definitely not the least." Severus snorted but didn't comment anything as Remus gently handed them two thin and medium sized boxes.
Harry once again was thankful for his gift. "I noticed how terribly worn out your favorite sneakers, Harry. And I got Ivan the same since you two love to match outfit."
"We love it, Uncle Moony. Thank you." Ivan said gleefully and already put on his new shoes.
As Harry was about to excuse himself to eat his dinner. He noticed that there was still another box on the table – though, it was only one. He wondered who was it for, "This for you, Ivan." James announced as he look at his oldest with a gentle look.
"Only me?."
"Why don't you open it so I could explain?." James countered.
Harry curious enough to forget about food as he continues to sat beside his brother, waiting for him to open the mystery gift. Ivan slowly untie the ribbon. as they could see Sirius twitching impatiently on his spot.
"A feather?." Ivan asked incredulously.
James laughed as he patted his two boys, "That's not just a feather, Ivan. That's a quill." James explained. Harry asked permission if he could touch, as he got permission, he gently inspected the said quill. Harry was afraid it he might broke it accidentally, it looks old.
"Uh, what's a quill?." Ivan sheepishly asked as his parents laughed at him, "The word quill have many definitions, however, this specific quill is used basically like a pen."
"This have been in the Potters' for centuries. It is a tradition to pass it down to the next heir. So, since you're the oldest it is customary that I should pass it down to you."
"Trust Potter to gift his son a old, hand-me-down feather."
Harry didn't even have to lift his head to know who said that.
"Uh. Thank you, Dad. I appreciate it." Ivan can't lie to his father that he liked his gift, still it's the thought that counts, right?.
As the adults argue with Snape, Lily scolded them once in a while. The birthday boys used that as a distraction to go and get ready to bed early.
"Harry!."
Harry groaned as he was once again being disturb in his sleep.
"Wha's it, Ivan?." Harry managed to slurred as his eyes begged him to ignore his brother and just go to sleep.
"I need to pee!." Ivan said urgently as he squirmed on his spot.
Harry nodded as he dismissed him with a wave of his hands and turned to the side, "I need you down with me." Ivan begged as he again shook Harry with force that Harry whined in protest.
"Go on your own!."
"I don' wanna!."
Harry glared at the delighted grin on his brother's face as he step out of the bathroom, he had his armed crossed grumpily as both of them marched to the stairs.
He shivered and noticed that the window was open, letting the cold air in.
"Hey, Harry! Look at those!." Harry was tempted to just ignore his annoying brother and bury himself to his blankets, but he knew Ivan would continue pestering and would just disturb him. So, reluctantly, he followed the object Ivan was pointing at.
On their table was two letters sealed with red seals.
"Ivan, you know better than peeking on someone else's letters." Harry scolded and dragged his brother upstairs.
Ivan ignore him completely and pick up the letters. Harry watched with slight anticipation as Ivan opened the letters. As Ivan was about to pull out the paper inside, they were interrupted by, "What're you boys doing here this late?." Remus tired voice startled them.
"Ivan forced me to go down with him because he needs to use the bathroom." Harry was quick to defend himself.
"That doesn't explain the letters." Remus suspiciously said, his drowsiness left his features and went to Ivan to retrieve the letters. "Where did you get these?."
"I found it on the table."
"Ivan Potter, you know it's rude to read someone else's letter without permission." Remus scolded.
"Sorry."
Remus sternly instructed them to go upstairs and sleep as he firmly tucked the letters away. Ivan looked gloomy as he slid into their room.
"Stop sulking, Ivan. You could just ask Moony about that letter tomorrow." Harry muttered as he asked Ivan to make a room for him. "That letters was for us, Harry! It has our names on it."
That certainly grabbed Harry's interested. "Really? Do you have any idea what could it be?." Harry curiously asked and take his glasses off and put it aside.
"No." Ivan pouted. His eyes staring at the ceiling.
Harry nodded thoughtfully as he turned to the side, "Goodnight, Harry."
"Night."
Harry was glad he could finally continue his sleep. As he was about to enter the land of unconscious he felt something shift beside him.
"Harry, I'm thirsty."
AN: Nothing happened other than Harry getting his sleep interrupted. Sorry 'bout that. I promise the next chapter will atleast be more interesting than this.
Review will be very much appreciated!
