Hi! Enjoy Chapter 2! :)

The man was punched with such force as he grunted in pain. Sweat, blood, and tears dripped down his face. He was tied to a chair and seemed to be in a massive dark warehouse. The moons light shined though the broken shards of glass from above. The ceiling was old and weak it couldn't hold much weight.

Five goons surrounded him, male and female, all consisting of bulk and muscle. The main figure stayed hidden in the shadows with a glowing eye.

The man received another blow to the head by one of the goons. His head slouched and draped to the side as blood spilled out his redden mouth.

"Where is it?!" The thug yelled down at the beaten man. Everyone watched with harsh eyes and sharp ears.

"I- I… don't know." He panted in a fit of fear. "I swear you have to belie- "He was punched again and again.

Suddenly a hand went up from afar and a figure can be seen. The goons ceased all action and moved away from the broken man. The man's worry only increased as the figure didn't feel the need to show themselves yet.

"I take it my hospitality was taken for granted." A dark and calming low voice emerged from the shadows. "But I wouldn't expect any less from rats." Smoke can be seen dancing into the air.

The man in his seat looked up now trying to see the figure. It was tall, slender, but bold complexion at the same time. It was only a matter of time before the man knew he'd be dead meat in about two minutes with intense interrogation.

"Now." He breathed out smoke. "Since I'm at a quarrel because I in trusted you to lead my men and deliver the newest shipment of Shimmer on board." He started to walk ever so slowly. "You were arrogant enough to think you could steal from me and disappear without a trace." The tone began to change drastically with every word that spilled through his teeth.

"N-no! I swear I would n-never steal from you!" He panicked at the moving figure. "Someone else must've- "Another hand was raised as he immediately stopped his pleading.

"More and more lies will only raise from your mind." The light began to show his long swaying coat. "Now, since I'm feeling SO very generous." He sneered down at the man as his face and body now came fully into the moons gothic light.

"I'll only ask one more time."

The man eyes widen in terror, and he couldn't breathe, nor could he speak as he saw the deadly leader of Zaun.

Silco.

He bent down taking his time to meet face to face. His eyes looked dead, he had no emotion in them, it was only the darkness that consumed his being. The man shook like a leaf as Silco stopped to stare down at him with silent rage.

"Where is my veil?" The words felt poisonous. He was like a snake with venom waiting to attack his victim. All it took was the wrong move and it was all over from the shattered man. He just stares back him with scared blood shot eyes.

"My patience is running thin, so mind what you say next, very carefully." Silco eyed the man cowering before him. He knew this scum was holding the truth back, it doesn't take ten times to tell a story as it only progresses in constant change. Truth slides down like a waterfall, it wants to show itself but fools like this only make the guilty signs more noticeable.

"I…." The man struggled to say something as Silco continued to stare down on him. His loyalists surrounded him like dogs awaiting their next command. Time was ticking even though no clock was present. Life was ending for him, and he knew it. He had to come out and just say it.

"I… sold it." He hesitated but proceeded onward. "I sold it." He said defeated. Silco didn't move as he processed those imbecilic words this parasite just declared.

"How much?"

"Wha- "Suddenly his face was pulled up by Silco with a tight grasp.

"HOW MUCH DID A RAT OFFER A RAT?!" His voice boomed aloud as it echoed off the walls. His anger ignited like fire, and he had daggers in his eyes. Silco pushed back his face violently in disgust. He was livid by the peasant.

"One Aurem." The man spit blood on the floor.

"A thousand Lamina." Silco chuckled as he turned away from man. "What a fool you are." He shook his head.

"I did what I had to, to survive!" The man suddenly spoke aloud with anger. One on the goons was about to straighten him out but halted seeing a hand raised from Silco. The man with a bloody face continued without hesitation this time.

"You lay there on your pedestal thinking your all high and mighty! An untouchable God! While we're left to pick up the pieces of whatever's left after your done using us as the RATS you say we are! The people are sick and tired of getting killed by the A.G. We are dying because of your failure for the protection of Zaun! Vander will forever be our soul protector not you!" His voice that echoed throughout the warehouse ended. It was deathly silent now. Silco back was facing the fuming beaten up man. The goons felt uneasy but hide it well from Silco. No one would ever dare say a word, not even Sevika. She stood the closest to Silco as she saw his face a little, whether or not this boy's words got to him, they were no way of telling at this point.

"You dare compare me to him." He sounded like a venomous snake. "He was a coward, a stricken lie, and he'd died for the cause but not willing to fight! He was born weak, and I was born with determination! Your savior has perished by my hands!" He was vexed on this situation. This boy called for death so soon, he thought. Silco didn't wish to think of him ever again. Not after that fateful day, and Silco became a changed man. Whether it was good or bad he'd taken in his fate and excepted the outcome from the dark waters.

"Survival." Silco breathed in slowly. "I've been doing that my whole life." He turned to face him. "Would a God have to fight for a right to survive?" The man didn't say anything back. "I was not blessed with a stool on the highest level, nor was I gifted with the power I desired. Instead, I was placed in a hole where I could not find the light. Just like you." Silco looked down at the man with deadly cold eyes. He was not fond of those talking to him like he was an insufferable monster. He seeks independence, not sovereignty unlike the dross undesirables in the dreaded Piltover. To compare him to the affluent was ludicrous and demeaning.

"If you think I don't know what's happening on my streets then you are gravely mistaken. My eye may be ailment, but I can see just fine, but Zaun and her children will rise once again. Even if it means war, we do not serve the high and mighty and we fight for our right to survive. Don't think you are the only one with a burden on your shoulder and alone in the cause." He sneered down at him. Suddenly turning away again with a swat of his darken coat. Everyone just watched with their heads slightly down. Silco took out another cigar and lit it to life. He took a few puffs as he sedated himself.

"Silco, please… it won't happen again I swear- I'm- "

"Sorry?" He interrupted with a quiet chuckle. "Aren't they all." He looked up at the night sky through the broken window. He puffed out the smoke in the air as it flew its way up into the heavens. His eyes glistened with sparkles at the moons light hitting him just right. He felt content for a moment looking at the great beyond, perhaps he'd be able to meet it someday.

Silco took a breath with ease but quickly regained his current mood again. It consumed him and his past taking over once more. His thoughts on his brother, the disgrace of Zaun.

"I don't consider myself an unreasonable man." He was in no hurry as he huffed his cigar. "But I do take one thing into consideration." His dark eye hardened. "And that thing is… loyalty."

Silco circle around him nonchalantly with the cigar in his hand. He couldn't let this just pass. He needed to eliminate the inconvenience that was crossing into his path.

"You stole from me and profited off my newest Shimmer for a fraction of what it's worth and my latest shipment has mystery perished to nothing. Your betrayal, will not be taken lightly." Silco tossed his cigar away with a flick leaving a bad taste in his mouth. He turned away from the man as he began to walk back into the shadows. Sevika looked at him awaiting his command. Silco stopped next to her but didn't face her, not even a glance was met between the two.

"You know what to do." The echo gave his whisper away. Sevika just nodded slightly as she made her way to the same spot. Replacing Silco's position for herself. Without any hesitation Sevika pulled out her gun. The man's body clenched in fear and anger at the same time. She aimed it directly at his head and she steady herself. Everyone awaited to hear the deafening sound to irrupt. Her finger rested on the sensitive trigger ready to pull with no remorse.

Suddenly in the flick of an eye she took the gun away from his head. She pointed it into the sky and fired. It happened in slow motion as the glass in the ceiling spread it's cracks like a virus. They all looked up as they back away, but Silco never turned to face them again. The sound of glass created clinking sounds as it hit one another. It began to descend onto its target. The man didn't have time to brace himself until the massive shards of glass landed on him. The sound of glass hitting flesh and hearing the dripping of blood rain down like a raging storm. The man died on impact as the massive pieces of glass planted itself inside him. It was a sickening sight to witness.

Silco never turned to witness the mess, he'd already known the outcome of it. He set his example for the people of Zaun. Betrayal is cowardly, not braver.

"Let that be a warning to you all." He spoke aloud to his loyalists. He'd set a million more examples if he had wished to finally achieve his goal.

"Don't disappointed me." He began to walk away from them and headed towards the entrance doors. Sevika dismissed the gang with a wave of her hand. They set off without questioning. Sevika wasn't far behind her boss's smooth consistent pace. Silco's hid his rage with a masked face.

.

Silco sat in the back of his limo with his legs crossed. The massive darken car flew through the busy the streets on Zaun. He looked out the window but wasn't partially looking at anything. His arm rested against the door, and he held his chin. He didn't say a word, nor did he move. His cigar was left on the glass ash tray never bothering to huff it.

Sevika sat a few feet down on the side. She glanced at him every once and a while to check on him. Even she hadn't the slightly clue of what was going through his head. Maybe an idea did brew from her mind but never wish to press him unless it was necessary. Perhaps it was one of those times. She took a sigh.

"You know its only a matter of time before they all start getting the same idea." She said aloud but didn't face him just as he did the same. "What are you planning on doing if it continues happening?" It was quiet for a while. Whether he would answer or not she wouldn't go any further. Silco's breath was steady, as he opened his mouth slowly.

"If they continue to commence with their wrongdoings, I will deal with them." He concluded simply as he never bothers to look her way. Sevika wasn't entirely convinced but she knew he always had a plan for everything.

"For how long?" She looked at him with knitted brows.

"How long what?" He sneered quietly. "Don't riddle me with little questions. Split it out." Silco wasn't in the mood for trivia.

"How long are you willing to put up with the insignificant pests who betray you?" She shot at him. "We are at your mercy, and we stand with you for the protection Zaun and to gain our independence for this nation." She was fed up. "This is the tenth person who failed to achieve your goal. How many more weak-minded people are we going to deal with? We have a war coming our way and we aren't even prepared yet."

"Do you not think I already know this." He faced her now with a harsh look. "Zaun and her children will have their freedom, but we must cleanse those who betray me and the cause. We won't succeed if we don't continue our shipments of Shimmer to the entire underworld." He leaned forwards a bit. "We need an army." He thought on the idea.

"We have an army." She reminded him. "Between the Shimmer and people of the underworld they will grow tired of Piltowers controlling ways and they will join forces."

"But not big enough to my liking." He scoffed taking his cigar from the tray. "We need more men, more muscle, our shipments have been pulled back from its incident." He grunted in annoyance.

"I'll get the men on it." Sevika reassured the boss. They would find out what happened to that missing cargo and all the damaged that it sustained.

"Don't bother." He waved it off. "We're already held back as much as we shouldn't be." Silco stayed silent as he thought for a moment. They had to gain more strength; they had the man, but they needed more to achieve the goal. His newest formula would be a setback if it was retrieved soon.

"Make this your new priority." He breathed out smoke. "Have your men find my veil, search every stand in the underworld. Every merchant, every dealer, every rat that deals with thieves!" He yelled in frustration. Sevika nodded without a word.

"I don't need another recap of this incident." He snarled. "Find my formal and get me more men even if you have to drag them to fight for the cause!" His fist slammed down on the arm rest in a state of furry. The ash tray fell to the floor. His hair fell over his face.

"I don't think that'll be a problem sir." She smirked. Silco was breathing a bit heavy as he began to pace himself with a calming breathes. Silco leaned back with his hands pulling back his hair. He closed his eyes with a tiresome sigh, he rested his back against the large cushiony seat. Sevkia could almost laugh at the sight.

"You look like you need a break." She chuckled.

"One does not take a break when there is work to be done." He said quietly with his hands on his head.

"Then what do you call that?" She looked at him up and down.

"Rest." He stated simply. He could never sleep even as kid; he was a horrible sleeper. On every corner was a monster waiting to attack. He was on guard twenty-four hours a day with no sleep but continued with his work. Breaks weren't a necessity to him; his goals are what fueled him. His rage and anger consumed him silently. He didn't show it all that much, he was always calm and tried to remain composed with his thoughts and feelings. Even though his feelings weren't given much consideration, even to himself. Perhaps he wasn't the best at managing or comprehending them. He persevered with his own loyalty and dedication to Zaun and her independence from the wretched privileged sitting in Piltover.

Silco eyes opened suddenly. He sat up as he slicked back his hair. He looked puzzled for a moment. Sevika took note of this. She proceeded to ask but he already began to speak.

"The Slickjaws." He whispered.

"What?" Sevika looked utterly confused.

"The Slickjaws." He said louder this time. "They were supposed to guard the shipments from any havoc that came my crew's way." His brows knitted together in an anger expression. "Were they in position when you were delivering the Shimmer on the ship?" He looks eager but frustrated at the same time. Sevika took a moment to answer but remember seeing no sight of the Slickjaws.

"No." She paused. "There wasn't anyone guarding us from afar." She shook her head. Silco eye twitch a little as he scoffed in dissatisfaction.

"Well now." He took a breath. "Looks like all the rats have risen." He told his crew to pay for their services to gain protection from the leader's assassins. Turns out they thought it was a waste of time. Silco would just have to pay a visit to the ugly faced chink.

"Set course to the underworlds bounty hunters and send my men at the scene." He said nonchalantly but was soundlessly fuming inside. "I think it's time we pay a little visit to our dear friend Finn."
