The next day after getting back from Vegas, Beck went down to the immigration office and informed them she'd married Sam. She also started moving her stuff into Sam's house. She was putting some clothes in the guest room dresser drawer.

"Hi" Sam said appearing in the doorway.

"Hi." "I didn't know you were here."

"I just got back." "When you finish that up wanna go skating?"

"Yeah."

After they went skating they went out to dinner.

After that they went home and Sam was helping Beck unpack.

"Sam, just so you know, you can have women during this sham of a marriage." Beck said. "I don't expect you to stay celibate for a year."

"You know I don't like one night stands."

"I know but if you ever feel the urge, don't feel guilty, don't feel like you need my permission, just do it."

"Same goes for you."

"Well no one's seen my rose tattoo in a long time." "I thought once I was married I'd always have someone to have sex with." She said jokingly.

He laughed. "Yeah, me to."

The next day Sam left to go back out on the road and Beck was opening her shop. She was opening it with another woman. A friend of hers and Sam's named Winnie.

"Beck, what the hell is that on your finger?" Winnie said surprised.

"A wedding ring."

"A wedding ring?" "You got married, to who?"

"Sam."

"Sam?"

"Yeah."

"Wait, I'm missing something here."

"We'd been dating for three months, we were keeping it quiet." "The other night he proposed to me." "We went to Vegas and got married."

"He must be special if you said yes after only three months."

"I love him." She said smiling playing it up as much as she could.

"Congratulations."

"Thanks."

Later that night Beck was talking to Sam on the phone. Steve Borden (Sting) was within earshot of him.

"I bet Winnie was really surprised." Sam said.

"Yeah she was." Beck said.

"Did you tell her how great the sex is between us?" He said jokingly.

She laughed hard. "That subject didn't come up." "If it ever does I'll make you sound really good."

"Ok." "I've gotta go." "I love you Beck."

"Steve's with you isn't he?"

"Right." "Bye."

"Bye." They hung up.

"Are you dating the woman who owns those skate shops?" Steve asked.

"Not anymore." Sam said. "We're married."

"Married?"

"Yeah."

"I didn't even know you were dating."

He knew he had to play it up just like she did. "We started dating three months ago." "I just fell in love with her and knew she was the one."

"That's awesome." "Congratulations."

"Thanks."
