Starling Academy, Starland

It was a beauitful afternoon at Starling Academy. Alesha, Georgia, and Cheryl were all getting decorations ready for the spring dance. Everyone was stoked because they get to chat with friends and dance with their sweethearts. Georgia thought about Harlow and his magical ways while Cheryl thought about Oisin and he did what he would to look after his younger sister. Alesha smiled at her friends. She knew she didn't need a boyfriend to go to the spring dance, so she could always go with her friends.

"Hey, Lesh!" shouted Clover. She arrived along with Pavo and Isonor, and their sisters Laporis, Lacerta, and Alula.

"Let me get this straight," Pavo said. "You found some rare jewels that are actually star crystals from out world?"

"Clover," Alesha said, "guys...what are you six doing here?"

"Did you forget that this year's dance theme is Cirque de Starleil?" Laporis laughed.

Looking up, Alesha saw the sign that said, "Cirque De Starling Academy." "Looks like that happens when you're not part of the Homecoming Staff," she said.

Twenty minutes later, after putting the last decoration, Alesha looked at her Star-Zap to see that they only had five star hours until the dance started. Not knowing what to do, Cheryl decided to check on Wishworld to see if there were any good wishes gone bad.

And sure enough, she was right. Cheryl spotted a video programmer's niece in Jamaica spending too much time with the virtual reality helmets. Her uncle started to worry that if her niece kept this up, her parents could get very furious at him. Worried, Cheryl decided to go down there to help out.

Kingston, Jamaica

Cheryl arrived in tropical apparel. "Okay, Cheryl," she said to herself anxiously. "You got a while until the spring dance, you have to find this programmer's niece before it's too late."

Using her Wish Tracker, she found the programmer's niece in an old shack. Remembering the mystery books she read, Cheryl knew that old shacks, buildings under construction, and broom closets were least likely places to hide insidious or high-tech plans.

After sneaking in through the air dunce, she found the programmer's niece. The little girl had dreadlocks in pigtails and wore pink and red tropical apparel, while her uncle had short dreadlocks and yellow and green tropical apparel.

"Now, Shakia," her uncle said, "you've been playing that virtual reality set far too long. Shouldn't you go outside?"

"No, Uncle Lamark," Shakia replied. "Reality bites. They're always being imperfect, they hurt others' feelings, and they all stink."

Little did they know was that Cheryl heard the whole thing in horror. She needed a way to snap Shakia out of her trance fast. After ten starseconds of thinking, she got an idea.

After Uncle Lamark left to make a few calls, Cheryl snuck in and approached Shakia. "You will be joining with real friends," Cheryl whispered in the little girl's ear. "And they will like you for who you are. The people online could be predators out to steal your uncle's video games."

Worried that the people Shakia met online might be predators, she removed her virtual goggles. She rushed to the sink and sprinkled water onto her face. Swiftly, Cheryl rushed to the air dunce and escaped.

By the time Cheryl reached to the other side of the air dunce, she met up with Alesha and Georgia, who were out to pick a corsage for Harlow. All of a sudden, Alesha spotted a trail of flower petals. They followed the trail of petals, and above them an anti-Starling bubble trap captured the trio. Horriblescope came out of the shadows an removed her helmet, revealing to be the original SDs' rival.

"Vivica is Horriblescope?" Alesha asked. "What did we expect?"

"It is obvious," Cheryl replied. "No one else would call us Star Darlings 'Star Dippers' except her."

"You think you can make the little brat face reality?" Vivica asked. "No way. I paid a few actors to pose as friends to get Shakia back to her virtual reality set."

After she left, Alesha, Cheryl, and Georgia needed to figure out a way to get out of the bubble before it was too late. Just then, Georgia remembered something. "Bubbles get popped by sharp objects, right?"

"Yeah," Alesha replied. "Maybe we can find a sharp object and we can get free."

Bouncing randomly, they started looking for a sharp object. Along the way, they did some acrobatic trampoline tricks, just like how Alesha and Clover taught them.

Back at the shack, Shakia was waiting for her new friends to show up. 3 biker adults were coming in. "Okay now," one of the bikers said. "The silver-haired lady who hired us to be the girl's friend wants us to take her to the heart of Kingston and dump red paint all over her."

"Yeah," replied another biker replied. "We just gotta take her to our motorcycles and show her the wild side of Kingston."

Above them, the three SDE members found the bikers with their spiked helmets. Taking a glimpsed at the helmets, the Star Darlings pushed downward and the balloon trap popped, freeing the SDEs. The bikers were angered by the fact that the SDEs were in their presence. Seeing the paint cans, Alesha grabbed one of them from their hands and tossed paint all over them.

Annoyed by what Alesha did, the three bikers fled on their bikes, leaving behind a paint trail. Fearing that the children could mistake it for blood, Alesha, Cheryl, and Georgia swiftly cleaned the mess up. While they were cleaning, Georgia spotted a big shell with star patterns on them. Immediately, she knew it was. "Another Wonder Wish: Reality," she said.

All of a sudden, a group of children were being escorted by Uncle Lamark. "Now, now, children," he said to them. "My niece has a tendency to master every video game known to man."

By a snack shack, Shakia was observing the menu and couldn't decide what to order. "How about the blueberry soft serve?" suggested one of the kids.

Feeling her lips moist, Shakia decided to go for that.

After Alesha, Cheryl, and Georgia teleported back to Starland, Vivica watched her plans fall in dismay. Angered, she teleported back to her hideout.

Starling Academy

Later that night, the dance was going on. Everyone was enjoying themselves. As for the SDEs, they were talking in the corner about the real identity of Horriblescope. "Let me get this straight," Vivian said. "Sage's old rival is Horriblescope and wants revenge on the original Star Darlings by making good wishes go bad?"

"Something like that, Viv," Alesha replied. "But I don't know why Lady Stella didn't tell us."

"I didn't want to put you girls in danger," Lady Stella explained as she came in with Becky and Maria. "We saw her true identity revealed on that mission in Colorado. Vivica fled after Alioth did his Wish Blossom Fireworks Cure."

"Hey, you know," Shine interupted, "I always thought her name was spelt with an 'E' instead of an 'I'. And do you know what else 'E' means? 'Enemy'."

The students laughed while Lady Stella rolled her eyes. "Anyway," she said, "the current DJ just got an emergency call from his parents, and we need Alesha to perform."

Remembering that her older siblings were performing, Alesha decided to fill in as DJ substitute. At the turntable, she couldn't decide what song should she perform. Seeing the one labeled, "Pink's A Million Dreams," she decided to use that for not only her siblngs' circus routine, but a slow dance for the couples. "Why watch the act when you can be in the act?" she asked. "Grab your sweetie and dance your hearts out."

After placing the song in, her older siblings performed unbelievable trampoline and highwire routines. As she was playing, Alesha spotted her SDEs dancing with their sweethearts while Carrie, Shimmer, and Shine joined in on the circus act. "Feel the love, dudettes," Alesha said to herself quietly.
