Greetings everyone are all of you doing and feeling well?

As you know but we lost a beloved character last week. I personally wouldn't have killed her off but she did have a great multi-season arc in my opinion with solid character growth. And I'm thankful Frost died heroically and honorably, sacrificing herself to save her sister and her city, while having one last hoorah plus a nice power boost.

Anyway but I've decided to create a goodbye one shot for her in which she finds peace in the afterlife and I hope you'll all enjoy it.

Disclaimer: I don't own "The Flash", "Arrow", or their characters.

Setting: Some location in the Afterlife

Opening her eyes, Frost found herself enveloped by an expanse of pure light dazzling with an array of multiple hues of colors. Slowly lifting herself up and then getting onto her feet she turned her head in different directions to ascertain her surroundings and the light gave way to reveal an exact replica of the landscape of Central City, buildings and landmarks included such as CC Jitters.

Last she remembered she'd engaged in a final battle with Deathstorm before finally vanquishing the monstrous opponent when she'd collapsed from complications resulting from the absorption of his essence. She'd briefly awakened to seeing Caitlin hovering over her and presumably trying to save though she knew deep down it was too late and that she was about to expire from the land of the living.

And so after giving her sister one last look, reassuring herself of the latter's health and safety, and knowing she'd have made the same sacrifice for her all over again she closed her eyes and allowed the darkness to overtake her before awakening once more and finding herself in what she figured was the realm of the afterlife.

Frost then turned towards another direction and came face to face with a tall figure enveloped in dark green flowing robes and with a hood draped over his head. The figure then lifted his hands towards his head and flung his hood backwards revealing to her the face of the deceased Oliver Queen, his pupils briefly flashing a bright sparkling green before returning to their natural color.

"Welcome Frost. You made it," he addressed her with a warm smile.

Frost stared back at him, surprised.

"Wait. Aren't you Oliver Queen? That Green Arrow guy from Star City who sacrificed his life to restore the multiverse?" she questioned him as her eyes widened in realization to which he nodded.

"Yes and no. It's true I'm Oliver but I'm also a being of significant power known as the Spectre. It's because of it that I was able to restart the Big Bang during the dawn of time and in turn restablish the multiverse," he answered and explained to her leaving Frost more than impressed

"Soooooo are you like some sort of god now or something?" she questioned him as she absorbed the info in awe.

Oliver chuckled a bit.

"I can understand why you'd think that but no I'm not a god per say. In fact there is only one God and he created everything while also having the ultimate power over life and death," he replied with a smile. "I only reversed the damage the Anti-Monitor caused to the multiverse then rebooted everything. There would probably be many people who if they knew me and all of this they would in turn consider me to be a demi god. As far as I'm concerned however I'm just a humble servant who was at the right place and time and fulfilled my duty to make a difference."

Frost nodded in understanding.

"Well you certainly are a hero. I mean you gave everyone across the multiverse a second chance at life. You even gave me a second chance at life, for as long as it lasted at least, and for that I'll be eternally grateful to you," she replied emotionally while impressed by his humility and selflessness.

"So are you Frost. You lived your life honorably protecting your city and loved ones and I'm here to welcome you to the realm of the fallen heroes. A realm within the Afterlife divided into different sections for each hero and this section being yours especially and which you've more than earned," Oliver replied then continued to explain. "Following my release from the realm of the living, my duties as the Spectre expanded and also involve welcoming fallen heroes from across different multiverses whose lives have concluded and they've died honorably. And so I'm here to welcome you as the latest hero who's fallen."

Frost on her part gazed around the landscape in wonderment before she looked down in uncertainty.

"Listen pal, um, I don't mean to burst your bubble or anything but are you sure you got the right gal? I know I helped a few people and all but in case you didn't notice I did so many terrible things as well. Hurt a lot of people. I'm not a hero but only a reformed supervillain just trying to make amends. Do I even deserve to be here after all the awful things I've done?" she awkwardly countered before becoming emotional with her eyes downcast in guilt and shame, wondering if she was truly worthy of what she was being offered.

Oliver responded by reaching forth his hand and gently lifting her chin upwards until her eyes met his.

"You're right that you originally started off as a supervillain and did plenty of terrible things. Not to mention you were one of the most dangerous supervillains ever. But as you said you've worked to make amends and the truth of the matter is that you not only did so but many times over," the former Green Arrow softly assured her before continuing.

"You worked tremendously in atoning for your crimes, put in the work towards earning redemption, helped your friends and teammates multiple times, contributed greatly in saving your city more than a number of times and even during moments you failed or were defeated you continued persevering, same as the rest of the team, and continued fighting the good fight.

"Furthermore Frost but you also saved many people and made a huge impact upon multiple lives and especially in the last year when you selflessly sacrificed your freedom, potentially for life, to fight for the rights of your fellow meta-humans and even did so since you felt it was a necessary part of working to make restitution for your past actions.

"Furthmore but a significant portion of the Central City population also have nothing but wonderful things to say about you post your passing such as you inspiring them to become improved versions of themselves, giving them better futures including metaphorical and literal second chances at life, guaranteeing one couple the chance for their happily ever after, and making a powerful impact upon so many lives.

"You are a hero, one of the best who've lived, and your story, your journey, and your growth will be remembered for eternity and as an example to many and your legacy shall shine forth and be recognized as one of the greatest heroes in history. And so congratulations Frost, you've earned it. All of it."

Her eyes were watering as Frost listened to all that Oliver was saying to her before tears began to fall from her eyes and stream gently across her face, feeling overwhelmed by everything he'd stated and with conviction.

"Geez. I really don't know what to say. I had no idea I'd made such an impact upon my city or that so many felt this way about me. For so long I was uncertain as to whether or not I was contributing enough to my city and now to hear I was not only doing so but more than that while apparently reaching the hearts of so many is a lot to take in. I mean, wow," Frost replied emotionally while her tears started to flow more freely before she hastily wiped them away with the back of her hand and let out a few loud sniffs as she attempted to withhold the remaining tears.

Oliver smiled once more.

"It's alright Frost. I understand. But now I believe it's time for you to reunite with someone who's been waiting for quite some time to see you again," he said to her and then stepped to the side which allowed her to see the second person among her current welcoming committee.

"Dad?" she gazed at the older silver haired man in surprise before she became emotional once more. He in turn was also just as emotional upon seeing her again and they both took a brief moment gazing upon each other before the father and daughter rushed forwards and embraced, grasping each other tightly as tears flowed down their cheeks.

"My daughter. I'm so happy you made it," he tearfully said to her as he continued to hold her.

"So am I dad, more than you can imagine. I missed you so much," she replied just as emotionally while enjoying the warmth of her father's presence.

"I missed you to Frost but what matters now is that we're finally back together once more and someday your sister and mother will be here with us when their time comes. Not anytime soon of course since I want them to live for as long as possible but I'm certain we both look forwards to the day when our family will be reunited," he also replied to her before parting from her.

"I couldn't agree more, and I very much look forward to when that day comes," she responded to his words with a bright smile while also gently extracting herself from her father's embrace.

"Shall we?" he then asked her while gesturing towards the path before them.

"Let's go dad," she replied and linking their arms together they made their way deeper into the Afterlife version of Central City as the light above enveloped them further, her head held high as Frost felt at peace for the life she'd lived post her redemption and feeling grateful and satisfied in the knowledge she'd had such a positive and profound impact upon her city.

Oliver meanwhile observed the father daughter duo with a proud smile and he wasn't the only one. For unseen to Frost were a number of fallen heroes in their sections of the Afterlife such as Ronnie Raymond, Professor Stein, Tony Stark, Natasha Romanoff, and others who also watched on proudly while greatly pleased to count her among their ranks for in their eyes as well she was truly a hero and one of the most prominent who'd ever lived while knowing she would forever be remembered.

R.I.P. Frost
