A man in a suit with a serious but pleased look on his face was driving back home from his workplace where he just got promoted. He was just a recent grad yet from his personality and nature he seemed different from the usual clueless college students that didn't know where life was going to take them. He however looked like he got everything under control as if every movement he makes is planned. He recently got some dirt on his boss and his shenanigans and he knew if this saw the light of day his boss can kiss his life goodbye.

He gradually grew a cold smile on his face and he uproariously laughed.

"Hahahahahahaha"

"I didn't think I would actually have a part of the company already within my grasp! I have to thank my luck for this! Without walking in on him doing the CEO's wife I would have never had the dirt on him to be able to control him! And the CEO's wife also can't do shi* to me! Otherwise I'll tell everyone about this and they'll both had sullied reputations!"

"But he also has himself to blame. If he wasn't such a jackas* maybe I would've been more lenient."

But the man paused for a second before laughing again.

"Who am I kidding I wouldn't have been more lenient at all!"

He parked his car as he finally reached his destination. But as he did he looked up. It was raining.

"Damn. Such a good day and it's raining why couldn't it be more sunny out."

He grumbled.

But as he said this, the storm was brewing. He rushed back to his house but as he was about to go inside he got struck by lightning.

He fell silently as the moment he was struck as he was already dead.

All I felt was darkness. No, felt isn't the right word, more like I knew? But that didn't make much sense because I thought I got struck by lightning. Wouldn't I feel pain right now? No I would been dead if I did get struck by lightning. I had a million questions but no answers, it was quite aggravating. But soon I felt a push then another push and another push. I was getting annoyed what the hell was happening. I couldn't see what was going on but I felt pain. A lot of it. It's quite embarrassing but I felt like crying. I almost thought I saw light at the end of the tunnel. As the pain went away I felt happy. But the happiness went away as I felt a shivering cold on my body. Wait, body?! I thought I died earlier but considering the events that just took place I guess otherwise. I thought I saw someone as everything went back to darkness.

9 Months Passed~

So I have finally regained my hearing and seeing recently and what I saw surprised me. I am in another world! People were walking around and they were going about their daily lives in this village. And by village, I mean this big metropolis I have heard people call the Village Hidden in the Leaves but who in their right mind can call this a village I mean, take a look around you! And before anyone talks about how can you understand what they are saying aren't they speaking in a different language? The answer is I only learnt a few words from my current experience here so I can piece a few things together. I have a new family here but it's awkward I feel like I've stolen their son. My father named me Yakura Kurama. Anyways I will learn to start reading and writing so I have something to do during this boring baby years maybe find a few books. Yeah, that sounds nice.

Okay, RED FLAG. I just saw my father's weapon room for the first time and it was shocking. Why does he have all these strangely shaped knifes and four pointed metal stars. He throws them at a target and it hits bullseye. I'm not going to even talk about the child endangerment but he's pretty good... Is he some kind of collector or a hunter. Doubtful, because who goes hunting with throwing stars and knifes right?

RED FLAG #2: He starts talking about ninjas after he puts me on his lap. How they can walk on water, climb trees, manipulate the natural elements. At first I thought this was a little bedtime story before he does a couple handsigns and electricity flickered between his fingers. That was the moment I knew for a fact this world is practically a fantasy world.

It seems I'll have to grow up and figure out more about this world before I can figure out my place in it. One thing for sure is that I will decide my fate, nothing will control me. I'm excited, this isn't something you can get from staying in an office job sitting on your ass. It maybe a bit to early to say this but, this rebirth may have been the best thing that happened to me.

P.S: Unlike other stories where the protagonist is scared that they're in another world and all the dangers they'll face. Yakura embraces it and is excited and can't wait for all the opportunities to be at the top of the world deciding his fate.
