Chapter 13
→ Arwintar Nazarick-mansion / Arachama ←
Arachama woke up in a good mood. She felt around her bed and was able to feel another body in her bed. She grabbed it and cuddled with it. She fell asleep again and smiled, only to be woken up by a "Message" from Monga.
"Get up. Solution reported that Sebas betrayed us" Monga shouted in her head, while Mini-Arachama placed her pillow over her head.
"I am sleeping, go away evil spirit." Arachama yawned and Mongas grumble was audible.
"Just get to my office, I will give you 30 minutes and get you something to eat." Monga replied in a hushed tone.
"You owe me one." Arachama yawned again and Monga cut the connection, probably rightfully so, since Arachama thought many profanities after he cut the connection.
She stood up, accidentally throwing Enti around. Enti luckily fell on the bed and was not injured, but she woke up and groggily rubbed her eyes under her mask.
"Can I help you, mother?" Enti asked.
"Not really. I will get my armor set and then move to Nazarick. I will take Ninya with me, since she knows more about the new kingdom." Arachama said.
"As you wish. I will gather her while you change your clothes." Enti replied and walked out of the room.
"I better get my whole gear with me." Arachama shuddered angrily.
She decided to wear her chainmail-leather trench coat, covering her upper body and her abdomen. She also decided to equip her rings and items. Mini-Arachama meanwhile went full berserkergang in her mind, barely managing to hack a piece of wood into pieces.
After getting changed, Arachama walked into her living room, where Ninya in her maid dress kneeled.
"Good morning, lady Arachama" Ninya greeted.
"Good morning, Ninya" Arachama greeted back.
"How may I serve you?" Ninya asked.
"We will go to my friend Monga. I might require your knowledge of this world, since it was some time ago when I was so much in the open." Arachama replied.
"As you wish, lady Arachama." Ninya smiled and stood up.
"Then let's go. "Gate", follow me." Arachama ordered and casted and Ninya followed her orders.
Once they were in Mongas office Arachama closed the portal and looked at Albedo and Monga. Both were talking, though Albedo seemed a mixture of furious and needy.
"Mornin´" Arachama greeted and Monga nodded, while Albedo bowed.
"Good morning, lady Arachama. Who may this stray be?" Albedo asked, a big frown on her face.
"Ask Monga and please don't talk about her like this. You will barely see her. Besides, she will train and serve as a maid at the mansion." Arachama replied and Albedo relaxed a bit.
"I am sorry, lady Arachama. I am stressed a lot, since Sebas sadly turned traitor." Albedo said.
"Wasn't he in the tomb?" Arachama asked.
"No. He was on a mission to gather information on an underground syndicate, called eight fingers." Albedo replied while Monga shimmered green.
"Why didn't you look over the "Spider Paper"? We have them for a reason. Does anyone read the reports I send here? Or the ones that my little guys provide?" Arachama was now hissing while Monga shimmered green and Albedo looked a bit sad.
"We do read it, or try at least. But we are now in this situation, therefore I want to ask you for your thoughts" Moga answered.
"I see. Then let me handle this while you both do some gymnastics'" Arachama recommended and Albedo's eyes shone like small stars. The flame in Mongas eyes shone brighter.
"So he tasted blood last time?" Arachama whispered while Albedo vigorously nodded.
"Though he feels guilty for some reason." Albedo replied.
"He will get over it, once you two are married." Arachama said and Monga had a green glimmer, which was much more prominent than the last few.
"I leave it to you then?" Monga said.
"Yes, under the condition that you don't let her wait and that I can rule as I see fit." Arachama smiled.
"That sounds fair. Lets go, lord Ainz" Albedo replied and pulled Ainz behind her.
After Albedo and Ainz left, Arachama breathed out.
"Are they always like this, lady Arachama?" Ninya asked.
"Nah. They are usually nice, once they see you as part of Nazarick." Arachama smiled and Ninya nodded.
"Cocytus? I require your help. Gather Demiurge and Shalltear and meet me in the throne room." Arachama sends over "Message".
"I. Do. As. You. Order. Lady. Arachama" Cocytus answered and Arachama cut the connection.
"Solution?" Arachama used her time to contact Solution over "Message".
"Yes, lady Arachama?" Solution asked.
"Is Sebas in the mansion or is he outside?" Arachama asked.
"He is in the house, lady Arachama." Solution answered.
"Then use "Message" once he leaves. I will take over for a short time, while Monga is slightly incapacitated." Arachama ordered with a soothing voice.
"As you wish, lady Arachama." Solution replied and Arachama cut the connection.
"Now then. Grab my hand." Arachama ordered and Ninya did as told. Once Ninya held her hand Arachama used her "Ring Of Ainz Ooal Gown" to teleport to the throne room.
Ninya looked astonished. She looked around and it seemed like she took in every detail.
"What is this place?" Ninya asked.
"Ara ara. I know you are learning, but please keep the etiquette." Arachama smiled and Ninya looked to the floor.
"Ara. Why did Yuri want me to partake in this training?" Arachama thought, slightly dejected.
"I apologize, lady Arachama. May I ask what this place is, lady Arachama?" Ninya tried again.
"This is the 10th floor of the great tomb of Nazarick. It is the throne room. Mongas and my friends built this place an eternity ago." Arachama felt nostalgia take over.
"We will meet a few people to help us with the small problem." Arachama explained why they were there, to ease Ninya a bit.
"I understand, lady Arachama." Ninya replied with a smile.
"Why do you always place "lady Arachama" at the end of the sentence." Arachama asked.
"Lady Yuri Yamana told me this, to get used to speaking respectfully." Ninya answered.
"Then use "mother Arachama" from now on." Arachama smiled when Ninya got a blush on her face."I will do as you wish, mother Arachama." Ninya said.
"Much better. Much better my cute Ninya" Arachama thought while Mini-Arachama sipped from a good whine.
They moved closer to the throne when Arachama showed Ninya a place on the floor and looked at Ninya.
"You better kneel there, since the floor guardians would react quite badly for something they view as an insult towards me." Arachama sighed.
"I will do as you please, mother Arachama" Ninya replied and did as told.
After a short while Cocytus, Demiurge and Shalltear walked into the throne room. They were first visibly irritated, but one glance of Arachama calmed them down. They moved to their respective places, slightly closer towards Arachama than Ninya, and bowed.
"Shalltear, floor guardian of floors 1, 2 and 3. I am here to receive my orders." Shalltear announced.
"Cocytus. GUARDIAN. OF. FLOOR. 5. I. AM. . RECEIVE. MY. ORDERS." Cocytus exclaimed.
"Demiurge, guardian of floor 7. I am here to serve." Demiurge smiled.
"Thanks for coming here. Sadly Albedo and Ainz are a bit, how do I put it, occupied. Therefore a small business fell into my hands. Solution thinks that Sebas betrayed the tomb. I will go there to investigate, once Solution tells me that Sebas is outside of the mansion. We will travel per "Gate". Shalltear will cast it, since she visited the place once." Arachama explained and all nodded.
"Lady Arachama? Sebas has left the mansion" Solution reported over ''Message" and Arachama nodded..
"Well done, I and my reinforcement will come over" Arachama answered, cut the connection and signaled for Shalltear to open a "Gate", which she opened.
All walked through and found themselves within another mansion. It was exceptionally clean and it seemed that Solution even brought out one of Arachamas couches. Arachama walked over the wooden floor and placed herself into the couch.
Shalltear and Demiurge took place behind her and covered her flanks. Cocytus stayed closer to a wall, since he was too high and wide to move much within the tight place.
Ninya placed herself just behind Shalltear, close enough to hear orders, far enough to not infringe onto Shalltear. Solution was kneeling on the floor.
"Good evening, lady Arachama" Solution greeted.
"Good evening to you too, Solution." Arachama greeted back and Solution smiled.
"Sebas will be back in a short time, since he only wanted to clear his head. The stray he took in is upstairs. I placed a sleeping spell over her." Solution reported and Arachama nodded along.
"I see. Please bring her to me. I want to hear her side." Arachama ordered and Solution bowed.
"As you wish." Solution replied and went to gather the stray.
"Please be salvageable without greater problems." Arachama prayed in her thoughts.
After a short while, Solution returned with the "stray" Sebas took in. She had long blond hair and turquoise eyes. She wore one of the maids-uniforms from Nazarick. She went inside and first got a strong shock and then bowed deeply.
Ninya seemed to look at the "stray" for a short while, until her mouth hung open.
"Is there something you want to tell us, Ninya?" Arachama asked.
"Could I ask a few questions, mother Arachama?" Ninya bowed and asked.
"Of course. We still have a bit of time." Arachama replied.
"N-n-n-Ninya?" Tuareninya asked.
"Tuare, are you truly my sister?" Ninya asked in disbelief.
"Ara ara. Seems like my part can be fulfilled faster than expected." Arachama smiled.
Both sisters went to each other and hugged each other, though the Tuare seemed a bit more hesitant at first. Solution first wanted to interject, but was cut off by a strong glare from Arachama. After some time both calmed down.
"You can exchange pleasantries and stories later. First we will test Sebas loyalty." Arachama grinned.
"How would you want to do this?" Demiurge asked.
"I will use "Charm Species" and "Dominate" and then ask him to answer me questions. Once that is done we will go from there." Arachama smiled and Demiurge placed his glasses further up his nose.
"As you wish, lady Arachama." He grinned and Arachama asked herself what she had done wrong now.
"Please no more ideas from my mistakes" she thought and pleaded for any god who could hear her while Mini-Arachama cuddled together and had fear written on their faces.
Ninya now walked to her post again while Tuare simply waited at the entrance. It took not much time for Sebas to come back to the mansion. Once he entered he was greeted by Solution. She led Sebas to the room, where Arachama waited. Once he entered he began to sweat and bowed deeply.
"Lady Arachama?" He asked and Arachama nodded.
"Hello, Sebas. How is your day going? Everything according to plan?" Arachama asked and Sebas sweated harder.
"Everything is going according to plan." Sebas answered.
"Good. Then you will have no problem if I check something, would you?" Arachama replied sweetly.
"Of course you can as you please." Sebas said.
"Please remove any items which would interfere with mind-control" Arachama ordered.
"As you wish, lady Arachama" Sebas replied and placed a few items on a stand close by.
"Now then "Charm Species" and "Dominate". Now it's time for business" Arachama smiled.
Sebas now had pink eyes and a cast-circle on his forehead. Both indicating that the cast was successful.
"Tell me Sebas. Did you betray Nazarick?" Arachama asked.
"No, lady Arachama" Sebas answered.
"Why didn't you report that you took in a human?" Arachama continued.
"I did not deem it necessary, since she is insignificant for the supreme beings." Sebas replied.
"No other reason?" Arachama dug deeper.
"I also feared that she would be killed or sent to Demiurge," Sebas confessed.
"Ara ara. So you went behind Mongas and my back?" Arachama asked.
"Yes, lady Arachama." Sebas said and Arachama cut her connection.
"That was like a suckerpunch, Sebas." Arachama confessed and Sebas looked to the floor.
"Please forgive me. I went behind your back." He said and Arachama looked at him.
"From now on. If you collect a stray, please report them. If you fear they might die, report it to me." Arachama ordered and all in her presence nodded.
"How should we proceed, lady Arachama?" Demiurge asked.
"Surely you found out my motive, Demiurge." Arachama smiled.
"Just smile and play the clever lady. Anything I would say would be interpreted like that anyway. Just play along for now." Arachama signed inside her mind while Mini-Arachama cosplayed Shakespear.
"I propose to use the situation, which was reported by Renner and Solution. We can take over eight fingers now. But that was part of your plan all along, right?" Demiurge asked.
"Ye-Yes?" Arachama stuttered.
"With the consent of lady Arachama, I will now explain the plan from now on. Since the eight fingers want to be a threat to us, we will retaliate. Shalltear and I will gather a few more of us. Then we will attack tonight. Thanks to Renner, I know of eight bases from the syndicate. We should try to not kill the higher ups, since we will need them later, once they are more, docile.
Once we have collected their leaders and therefore control over eight fingers, we will run it in our interest. We will also get more albion sheep for experiments and the pleasure of lady Arachama. Directly afterwards we will start with the next operation. I will explain lady Arachamas and lord Ainz plans then" Demiurge explained.
"How did he get that this is part of our "schemes"? Where did we mess up?" Arachama panicked while Mini-Arachama just had a breakdown and planted her head in a pillow.
"I will help with this endeavor and plan a small thing. I will contact my pawn in the palace. Please excuse me." Arachama smiled.
"Renner?" Arachama asked and casted "Message".
"Lady Arachama? How is it possible that I hear your voices?" Renner asked and sounded scared.
"Don't panic. I have a small project and could use some tools for it. How many people could you gather?" Arachama asked.
"I am talking with my brother and Marquise Raeven. He could potentially gather a few adventurers. How may I help you?" Renner asked.
"You will want them to raid eight finger bases. Eight in numbers. I want a specially bloodthirsty adventurer sent to the base from the drug department" Arachama ordered.
"That would be easy, since they are offering this right now," Renner replied.
"Then grasp the chance." Arachama messaged back.
"I also know who to send to that department. They are adventurers, once the one, I am thinking of, starts, she will want to fight." Renner replied.
"Then do it." Arachama ordered and cut the connection.
"Demiurge, we will only need a small task-force, since Renner will take care of the rest. I will take the drug department. I will need a map for that. I will also take one of my children with me. Meanwhile, do your thing." Arachama ordered while Demiurge bowed.
"As you wish, lady Arachama." Demiurge grinned.
"Well. Ninya, Tuare? I will place you both under the care of Yuri. Sebas, this will be the punishment for going behind my back. Sebas, you can still visit her, if time and orders permit. Tuare and Sebas, exchange whatever you want outside." Arachama ordered and both went outside.
"Are you sure that a human is a good addition for your endeavors?" Demiurge asked.
"She will work as a maid. Nothing more. She will also stay at the mansion in the empire for now." Arachama replied.
"I see." Demiurge said and pushed his glasses even higher.
"I fear him and "our" plans more and more," Arachama shuddered.
"I wish you good luck, Demiurge. "Gate" Be successful" Arachama smiled and casted "Gate" towards Nazarick-mansion.
After Tuare and Sebas came back, with Sebass having a hickeye, she took Tuare and Ninya with her to Nazarick-mansion. Once there she sends Ninya and Tuare to Yuri. She also collected Enti. She would need her for her self imposed assignment.
Once collected, Arachama cuddled with Enti. She needed to prepare Enti. She also planned her assault and her next step. That would be fun for her. She also told Yuri of her night out and to make dinner for all within the mansion. Yuri had understood and would administer the dinner, using the opportunity to train Tuare and Ninya.
Arachama waited till sunset and played poker with Enti, betting cuddle time. Once the sun was setting, Arachama used "Gate" to reach the location for her assignment. Arachama saw the "base", though mansion would be a much more accurate word.
"Enti? Would you be so nice and clean the place? We only need the leader of the drug department. I meanwhile will wait here, since I will have a plan for myself and don't know when I will have it going out." Arachama soothed and Enti nodded.
Arachama saw Enti walk into the mansion and then heard nothing. After a long time Enti walked back out with a blond woman with a white dress. This woman had a snake tattooed on her right arm. She also looked terrified and was pulled by her hair.
"I did as told, mother. Shall we take the albion sheep to Nazarick?" Enti asked.
"Yes. Please take her to Neuronist Painkill, since she will not be loyal in her current state. Here are scrolls with "Gate", please use it inside, since then no one can see the flesh being carried away." Arachama ordered and Enti bowed.
"I will see you later at Nazarick-mansion, mother" Enti replied and went to do her orders.
Arachama waited a bit, knitting her next pillow and humming a lullaby. Arachama saw how Enti worked the mansion. After a while it seemed abandoned for a short while. She saw the curtains pulled in front of the window and all the windows closed. She also saw all the doors were closed from inside.
"What do we have here?" Arachama heard and turned towards the voice.
In front of Arachama stood a tall and extremely muscled blond. She wore quite revealing armor and had an adamantite plate bouncing from a chain. She was carrying a warhammer and used a hairband to have her hair out of her view.
"I am Arachama. What do you care about?" Arachama tried to ask.
"I know diplomacy will fail, but I want to try, at least for looks." Arachama mused.
"Not your business." The woman answered.
"Ara ara. Can I just go now? My children probably want to see me back. I am also hungry and it is around dinner time." Arachama smiled and the women took a fighting stance.
"Nah ah. Can't do that. You're a monster and I can't let one of your kin escape." She replied and Arachama sighed.
"Just as expected. My pawn did a great job" Arachama mused in her mind while Mini-Arachama used "The James Bond pose".
The woman charged and Arachama dodged, giving her no chance of hitting her.
"I see. Quite fast "Breath Of Fly", lets see how you fare against this" Arachama said.
"Breath Of Fly" is a skill that comes with the "Arachnoid" racial class. It summons a large quantity of flies, which do damage and lay eggs with fast hatching maggots. This swarm and their maggots eat meat and procreate extremely fast.
The woman got hit and was in great agony, when she was carried away by another woman. This one was wearing loose pants and a tight shirt. She had blond hair, tied back, and piercing sharp eyes. She was looking more like a ninja than a warrior.
"But looks can be deceiving." Arachama thought and smiled.
"Ara ara. I thought involvement in a duel was inpolite." Arachama said, using a chipper voice.
"Gagaran, how many times do we need to tell you to size up the enemy before engaging? Now we have to fight it." the ninja said.
"Urgh, Shut it Tia. You know that we can't let a danger in the form of a monster escape. It will only do harm" the now-named Gagaran sighed, gritting her teeth in pain .
"This will be tough." Tia replied.
"Ara ara. "Spider-Web Embrace", "Summon: Dschungle Children", let me see how well you fare against those" Arachama smiled and casted.
A summon circle appeared on the ground and many tarantulas and venomous spiders crawled out of the circle. Many reached the height of an adult knee and the width of a roundshield. 'Summon: Jungle Children '' came with her specialization and was designed after what the "Shitty devs" thought the spiders in a jungle once looked like. It was a tier 6 summon.
Both women fought against the spiders, some got smashed by Gagarans warhammer and some were cut by Tia. Sadly they got overwhelmed and bitten. Once that happened they fought a little longer and then collapsed. Arachama sighed and walked over, when she felt great danger and jumped backwards.
Before her was a giant dagger, made of crystal. On it stood a petite girl with an intricate mask. She wore a red cape and black clothing and had long blond hair.
"That's it. You don't get any closer to my friends" The girl tried to intimidate.
"Ara ara. Your friends attacked me and would have killed me, if they had won. Why shouldn't I answer in kind?" Arachama asked and saw the girl shudder.
Arachama let the girl think and waited a bit.
"I see. So you just butcher your way through anything that doesn't resemble you. Such a shame. But I don't think I should be your biggest priority" Arachama sighed and pointed towards a wall of flames, which was visibly within the capital.
"Don't tell me what to do. "Vermin Bane" I will at least defend my comrades." the girl hissed and Arachama smiled.
A circle appeared and smoke came from it. It hit the horde of spiders and afterwards they all withered away. Arachama looked and thought about bug sprays. She didn't like that. Especially not against her.
"Ara ara. "Spider-web Embrace", I start to regret helping the kingdom" Arachama told and Evileye looked a bit shocked while getting wrapped with spider-silk.
"Why would a monster like you help humans, you are spouting nonsense." Evileye replied.
"Says the monster among us two. I know an undead when I see one." Arachama smiled and looked at Evileye for a reaction.
"How ..?" Evileye asked.
"I can see subtle differences between humans and human-like undead. I can also guess that your spell was around tier 5. Most humans can only learn up to tier 3, with a noticeable exception being Fluder Paradyne with tier 6. But he is kind of immortal, therefore not a fair comparison." Arachama explained.
"The leader of my group can cast "Raise Dead" it is a tier 5 spell." Evileye shot back and then held her mouth.
"Ara. That is certainly interesting, though I don't need a tier 5 resurrection spell, since my friend is extremely proficient with resurrection." Arachama smiled and then casted "Gate".
"Tell your rulers that Arachama will come back and that I am furious right now. I helped your country and am paid back by a dagger in my back. Maybe the empire would be nicer to me and my arsenal of spells" Arachama said in a theatrical manner and went through the portal, leaving a confused Evileye back on the way.
Arachama stood in her living room and saw that dinner was about to start. She ate with them and then scooped Arche up and cuddled with her, until she fell asleep, not hearing the events in Re-Estize and not realizing that Arche had a deep blush on her face.
→ Re-Estize / Renner and Gazef ←
It was going extremely well for Renner. She had woken up and prepared everything for her new master's plan. She had to organize the downfall of eight fingers and this took the help from her second brother. Luckily he fell for her idea and even Marquise Raeven had to give in. She also followed her orders from lady Arachama diligently. She personally proposed for the blue rose to split up and for one part to be sent towards the drug department of eight fingers. She also wasn't surprised by the wall of flames, since she was told beforehand.
She only had to play surprised and scared and had nearly immediately gone for her father and Gazef Stronoff. She played her part well and managed to convince him to stay at the palace. It didn't take long for most of the adventurers to come to the palace and plan their assault on the area surrounded by these flames.
She saw many figures, most of which were adventurers of different ranks. But she saw her friend Lakyus, a blond woman wearing red clothing with white-gold armor and carrying a giant black sword. She had green eyes and was the leader of the group blue roses. She was accompanied by Tina, who looked nearly exactly like her twin Tia.
Renner walked to Lakyus and then saw the corpses of Gagaran and Tia. Evileye stood beside them and waited silently.
"So that happened. I will ask Renner to gather information about that." Lakyus said.
"Information about what?" Renner said, shocking Lakyus.
"I faced an arachne, who said that she helped the kingdom before." Evileye interjected and Renner felt observed by her.
"Gazef reported that he was saved by an arachne called Arachama. We suspect that she wiped out a scripture of the Slane Theocracy" Renner whispered and blue roses nodded.
"If we are talking about the same monster, she would be capable of doing that." Evileye replied.
"What happened? We sadly didn't repay our debt towards her." Renner asked.
"Gagaran and Tia confronted her and a battle ensued. I interjected before she could finish them off. Sadly both were too grievously injured to survive till they were here. I faced her and she said she would leave the kingdom, since she felt hated here." Evileye reported.
"That is quite a shame, since from what I heard she is extremely strong." Renner said.
"How strong could she be?" Tina asked.
"She knew that I used a tier 5 spell. If I remember any other strong beings I fought against, I would say she could beat any of them. Even Rigrit and Fluder together with us would lose to her. She just toyed with me. I only live to tell the tale, since she wanted me to deliver a message." Evileye said and Renner nodded.
"Who is this message for?" Renner asked.
"She said "Tell your rulers" therefore I guess you?" Evileye asked and Renner thought.
"I better have her tell it father before the evening is over." Renner thought, since the outcome seemed rather similar in both cases.
"I will lead you to father then. The rest will remain here." Renner said and led Evileye to a separate room, where king Ramposa III was waiting and planning with his son Zanac.
Once they entered Evilee bowed after being announced by Renner.
"Good evening, your highness." Evileye greeted and Ramposa nodded.
"Good evening. I thank you for helping in this hour of crisis." Ramposa greeted back. Gazef meanwhile nodded towards Evileye.
"Father, she has something important to tell us." Renner smiled and Ramposa nodded.
"Then tell me." Ramposa ordered.
"I fought a monster, she called herself Arachama and said that she will be back, since we made her angry. She also said that the empire might be more appreciative towards her and her arsenal." Evileye reported, leaving small details out of the report.
The reaction was immediate. Gazef had a strong fear in his face while Ramposa looked fearful and surprised.
"Sadly a few of our adventurers attacked her when they saw her. She didn't take it well. But it is understandable. We should be more careful and try to engage her peacefully" Renner proposed.
Evileye looked at her, seeming to thank her for her discretion.
"That sounds like a plan. I want you, Renner, to use your network and locate her. I then want to talk to her, since she could be dangerous towards Re-Estize, if she would become an enemy." Ramposa ordered.
"Aren't you already her enemies? Even if that would be a stretch and insult?" Renner thought.
"As you wish. I will try my best." Renner answered and then went outside. After this she simply had to play her role and make plans that seemed in character for her. She also had to stall a bit, so that her masters could reach their objective. She would also stall her father and other nobles as much as possible, since it would pay off greatly later in her and Demiurge's plans.
She babbled a bit and pointed at locations on the map. They listened and she looked around. She saw blue roses, a few adventurers in between and a new team of adamantite adventurers.
This team was called "Darkness" and was composed of two members. One wore a big black armor with two greatswords, which were dual wielded. He also had a red cape with golden trimming. He was called Momon, the "Dark Hero". He was extremely popular with the masses, especially since he refused privileges that other groups took as a blessing, even blue roses.
The other was a beautiful woman with a white tunic and brown pants. She wore a cape and had a sword at her side. She had black hair and pale skin. She was known as Nabe, the "Beautiful Princess". Renner had to admit that she was a bit envious.
She heard an earthquake and knew this to be her signal to start her part.
"We should hurry and rescue civilians and then solve this problem." Once Orichalcum adventurer stated.
"Since we have a plan I will leave it to you. I will try to convince other nobles to lend their forces. But don't count on it. I will also try to have a hospital set up" Renner explained and all nodded. They left and she looked at a maid.
"Get nurses and any available medic, we will need them." She ordered and the maid sprinted off.
She went to the room of her father and he was already gone. But there was good news for her. Once she looked over the "Spider Papers" she got delivered from Demiurge, she saw that all the nobles were hiding in their mansions, with their guards only protecting them. They even locked people out of the mansions, in fear that they would attract demons. The only exception being Marquise Raeven. This went far better than expected. This would strengthen the royal faction and therefore make the power more even. This would enable her future plans. She even read that her older brother Barbo was nibbling his fingernails in fear.
It was a good day indeed.
→ Arwintar / Yuri, Tuare and Ninya ←
After Tuare and Ninya had come through a "Gate" casted by Arachama, both hugged again. Yuri let them and brought them to her living room. She let them catch up on their lives and let them comfort each other. She also listened in and found it lucky that Tuare indeed wanted to serve Nazarick as a maid, like Ninya wanted. Though she also wanted to be with Sebas. Tuare lamented and Yuri just couldn't concentrate on her paperwork.
"You shouldn't worry about this." Yuri said when Tuare wanted to cry again.
"Why?" Ninya asked.
"Simply, he can visit you if he has free time. I am sure he will do so" Yuri explained.
"Still. I can't wait for his embrace." Tuare sighed.
"Then work diligently and prove your worth. Don't fail our lady." Yuri ordered and both nodded.
They chatted again, this time much more happy. They talked about lady Arachama and the mansion. This conversation went on until a portal opened and Entoma walked through. A few of the homunculi-maids followed Entoma, each carrying a chest. They placed them in the living room and pointed towards Ninya and Tuare, who came over. Afterwards they left and only Entoma watched Ninya and Tuare.
"These will be your maid-outfits. Ninyas are the same as she is wearing now. Tuare, I asked Sebas for your sizes and they are made accordingly. If they don't fit, please tell me. I am also preparing dinner for my sister now. I will also prepare a plate for mother Arachama. I will see either of you." Entoma said and left.
"Is she always like this?" Tuare asked.
"Yes. But you will get used to this. She is the oldest of mother Arachamas children" Ninya replied.
"Why do you call her mother?" Tuare asked.
"Our parents sold you and tried to sell me. For me they are scum. Mother Arachama meanwhile gave me a roof, even though she had reasons against it. I have a big debt to pay and I will do it anyway I can." Ninya answered and Tuare nodded.
"I feel similar to Sebas, though I want to live together with him." Tuare sighed.
"I wish you good luck with this endeavor." Ninya smiled.
They giggled and Tuare tried one of her new uniforms. They fitted perfectly and Tuare smiled deeply.
Yuri meanwhile brought a second bed towards Ninyas new room. She also placed a second wardrobe inside and smiled to herself. Though the other pleiades sometimes saw her as a spoilsport. She loved each of her sisters. She therefore understood how both felt and smiled at them.
"Lady Yuri? Can we help you?" Ninya asked.
"Not really. I just thought about my other sisters and how long I didn't see them" Yuri answered and both nodded.
"Ninya, I have a question," Tuare began.
"Yes Tuare?" Ninya asked.
"Why don't you have a human body anymore?" Tuare replied.
"I got my species changed by mother Arachama, since she deemed it necessary" Ninya answered and Tuare nodded.
"I hope it isn't a problem" Yuri reiterated and Tuare simply shook her head.
"I was just curious." Tuare replied.
"Good. I placed your bed and wardrobe into Ninya's new room. You can share it, since it is still spacious and you will work and learn most of the day." Yuri said and both nodded. They took the chests and brought them to Ninyas' new room.
Yuri would use the night to prepare and revise the lessons, so that they could fit two pupils.
AN: Thanks for reading and please review. This will be the last chapter of this year, since I will be visiting my family, which lives around 800 km away. I prepared something for Christmas, though it will be an omake(?). I mean it will not be part of the story of this fanfiction.
Merry Christmas and a good new year.
