In the middle of the night, Storm was woken up to someone walking into her bedroom. The toddler sat up and whined as she rubbed her eyes. It was still dark so she thought the stranger was her father and reached up for the man.

Matthew picked Storm up and held her close. He handed Storm her missing stuffed fox, and fed her a bottle. Storm mumbled happily as she was held. The toddler eagerly drank the bottle and quickly started to feel warm and fuzzy. Soon Storm was fast asleep, and Matthew snuck out of the house with the toddler.

The next morning Scully yawned as she slowly woke up. Mulder was still holding his wife close as he slept. The woman smiled as she kissed her husband. Mulder yawned as he slowly woke up.

"Good morning handsome," Scully spoke happily. Mulder grinned as he kissed his wife eagerly. The woman snuggled on her husband.

"Our baby slept through the night it seems," Scully said proudly. Mulder nodded as he tried to snuggle with his wife. The older woman smiled at her husband as she got out of bed, and got dressed. Mulder laid in bed for a moment, checking his wife out, before climbing out of bed and getting dressed himself.

As Scully walked to the bathroom, Mulder followed his wife closely. The couple used the bathroom together, and soon walked to their daughter's room. When they entered the bedroom their daughter slept in, they noticed she was gone. Scully quickly looked around the room.

"Maybe she's downstairs playing already. You know how she is," Mulder smiled at his wife. Scully nodded as she followed her husband downstairs. Mulder grabbed onto his wife's hand and happily led her downstairs.

When the couple arrived downstairs, they quickly looked around for their daughter. When they didn't see her, Mulder quickly ran around checking all the doors and windows. Everything seemed to be in place. After searching frantically for their daughter for about fifteen minutes, Scully called the police.

"Hi, yes. I wanna report my daughter missing. Her name is Storm Katherine Mulder," Scully spoke to the emergency operator as she tried to remain calm. Mulder rubbed his wife's back before heading outside to look for his daughter.

As Mulder stepped outside, the first thing he did was look around to see if anything was out of place. The man walked around his house looking for any signs of break-ins. After walking around the house, Mulder walked up to the driveway and checked out to see if anyone pulled into their driveway recently.

Mulder crouched down behind his wife's car and noticed a set of tracks that lead up to the back of their cars. The tracks look like they stopped and pulled back out of the driveway. Mulder walked over to where the drivers side door would be and followed a set of unknown tracks that led into his yard. Soon Scully walked outside and met up with her husband.

"Hey. The police should be here soon. Did you find anything?" Scully asked her husband softly. Mulder looked up at his wife. Scully was obviously very upset, and trying not to cry. Mulder pulled his wife into his arms and held her close. The woman quickly broke down.

"I didn't Scully. I'm sorry," Mulder spoke unhappily. Scully nodded and tried to hide in her husband's chest. The woman already lost two children, and would be devastated if she lost a third. Mulder kissed his wife and rocked her, trying to get her to calm down. Soon two police cars pulled into their driveway.

Scully wiped her eyes as she pulled away from her husband and walked over to the police cars. Mulder watched his wife for a moment before joining her. Two policemen got out of their cars and walked over to the couple. Scully reached out of her husband's hand and held it tightly as they talked to the police.

"Are you Dana Scully?" One of the policemen spoke as he approached the couple. Scully nodded and squeezed her husband's hand, looking for comfort. Mulder rubbed his wife's back.

"I am. Um this is my husband Fox Mulder," Scully stuttered as she was hit with the harsh reality her daughter was kidnapped from them. Mulder nodded as he walked up and talked to the police with his wife.

"May we head inside? I would like to see where your daughter's room is, and get a recent photo of her if that's possible," the police spoke softly to the couple. Scully nodded as Mulder led them all inside. While inside, Scully went to grab a photo of their daughter, while Mulder led one of the policemen up to his daughter's room.

"Um. This is Storm's room. We put her to bed at around 9pm last night, and she went right to sleep," Mulder told the police officer. The policeman nodded as he wrote down everything Mulder was telling him. Mulder looked around his daughter's room in disbelief. Not wanting to accept the fact she was gone.

A few hours later after the police left with all the couple's information, Scully tried to go sit on the couch. Mulder smiled and joined his wife. The woman looked up at her husband as he sat down on the couch, and held her close. Scully sighed unhappily as she sat on the couch.

"I think Matthew and Robert have her," Mulder mumbled. Scully nodded in agreement as she laid on her husband. The older woman just laid on her husband unhappily, not wanting to feel any emotion. Suddenly their house phone started to ring. Scully quickly got off the couch and grabbed the phone.

"Hello?" Scully spoke frantically into the phone. Mulder quickly sat up and watched his wife, hoping for good news. The woman shook her head at her husband.

"Hi Mom. Um, not good. Storm was kidnapped," Scully tried to speak without crying. Mulder sat back on the couch when he realized his mother-in-law was on the phone. Scully quickly sat back down on the couch and cuddled up with her husband as she talked to her mother.

"I think we're fine Mom. Um, let me ask Mulder if it's okay for you to stop by," Scully mumbled into the phone. Mulder smiled at his wife and nodded. He knew Maggie was a huge comfort to his wife, and with everything going on right now, he thought having his mother-in-law stop by was a good idea.

"Yeah, he said it was okay. Um see you in a bit Mom. Okay, bye," Scully spoke softly as she hung up the phone. Mulder kissed his wife gently and cuddled with her. Scully laid on her husband still in disbelief on what was going on. Mulder held his wife tightly, not wanting to let her go.

An hour later Maggie Scully knocked on the front door of the house her daughter, and son-in-law lived in. Scully got off the couch, headed to the front door and opened it. When she saw her mother, she quickly hugged her tightly.

"Hi Mom," Scully started to sob. Maggie smiled as she hugged her daughter tightly. She knew how Scully was feeling right now, since she and Scully lost Mellissa a few years earlier. Mulder got off the couch and slowly walked to the entryway. When she saw his mother-in-law he gave a half hearted wave.

After a few minutes of Maggie holding Scully, Scully soon calmed down enough to let her mother into the house. Maggie walked over to Mulder and hugged him tightly as well. Mulder smiled as he hugged his mother-in-law back. Scully smiled as she wiped her eyes as she watched her mother and husband.

"I'm sorry Mom. I know you call every Sunday to check in on us, and this was the last thing you expected to hear," Scully mumbled out as her mother let go of Mulder. Maggie looked over at her daughter and smiled. Scully was obviously distraught by everything going on.

"It's fine Dana. Do you guys have any idea on who took her? I know you guys had some enemies with your last careers," Maggie spoke as she looked at the couple. Mulder nodded as he looked at his mother-in-law.

"Yeah, there was two salesmen who stopped by a couple weeks ago to try to sell some cleaning products to us. After we declined to purchase anything from them, Dana and I kept seeing them while we were out and about. Almost like they were stalking us," Mulder explained. Maggie nodded as her son-in-law spoke.

"No idea what they want with Storm though. She's not like William. She's normal, aside from her learning disabilities, and possible autism," Mulder explained. Maggie nodded as she watched Mulder go on about his daughter. Scully smiled as she grabbed onto her husband's hand,

"I just pray they return her soon, Mulder," Scully spoke softly. Mulder looked over at his wife and nodded. Maggie smiled as she watched the couple.

"Um, I'm going to go up to my office for a bit," Mulder spoke softly to his wife. Scully nodded at her husband, knowing he wanted some time alone to collect his thoughts. Mulder gently kissed his wife before dragging himself upstairs.

"Dana, do you want to watch TV or something?" Maggie asked her daughter. Scully nodded as her mother led her over to the couch. Maggie sat on the couch, and as soon as Scully sat down, Maggie held her close. Scully cuddled up and laid on her mother as Maggie comforted her.

"I miss her Mom," Scully spoke unhappily. Maggie nodded and ran her fingers through her daughter's hair. Scully sighed as she laid on her mother. Not only did she fear she would never see her daughter again, but she may lose her marriage as well. Mulder didn't take stressful situations like this too well.

"I know you do Dana. I'm sure the police will find whoever did this," Maggie told her daughter, trying to give her hope. Scully nodded sadly. All she wanted was to be holding her daughter. When she took a few extra days off work, she didn't realize they would turn out like this.

Maggie smiled as she cuddled her daughter as they watched TV together. Mulder meanwhile was upstairs in his office, trying to research the company Matthew and Robert worked for. As Mulder performed multiple searches on the internet, he was becoming frustrated when his searches were coming up empty.

Mulder laid back in his chair and sighed. He didn't have anything on the two men to help him identify who they were or who they worked for. He only had their first names and the car they drove was a very common one. Soon Mulder sat back up and slowly started to research anyone and anything he could possibly think of, to help find his daughter.

An hour later, Mulder slowly dragged himself back downstairs. Scully sat up on the couch and looked at her husband. Mulder obviously had been crying. The woman slowly got off the couch and walked over to Mulder. When Mulder saw his wife, he quickly hugged her and held her close. Scully rubbed her husband's back.

"I love you," Scully spoke softly. Mulder nodded as he squeezed his wife.

"I love you too. Sorry, I'm just really hurt right now Dana," Mulder replied. Scully looked up at her husband and wiped his eyes. Mulder gave his wife a soft smile. Scully leaned in, kissed her husband gently and led him over to the bookcase.

"Where is your Mom," Mulder asked as he looked around the house. Scully smiled at her husband as she gave his hand a slight squeeze. The older man looked down at his wife.

"She left to go grab us lunch. I told her she didn't have to, but she insisted. You know how she is," Scully replied as she grabbed some photo albums off the bookshelf. Mulder nodded as he followed his wife as she sat down on the couch. The older man groaned as he sat down next to his wife.

Scully cuddled up to her husband as she opened one of the photo albums. Mulder kissed the side of his wife's head as she looked through one of the photo albums. Scully smiled as she was looking through the photo album they had for the first year of their daughter's life. Little did Mulder know, Scully was also looking for clues on who could have possibly taken their daughter.

"Look, this is when Storm met Skinner for the first time," Scully smiled happily as she showed her husband the photo. Mulder looked down at the photo and examined it. Storm was only a couple months old, when Mulder and Scully visited their old boss. Skinner was holding Storm and grinning while the baby looked up at him in awe.

"Look how happy she was to see him," Mulder smiled at his wife. Scully nodded as she flipped through a few more photos. Their daughter wasn't very fond of strangers for some reason, but Storm did like Skinner. Mulder nuzzled his wife's neck.

"Hmm, Mulder," Scully stopped and looked up at her husband. Mulder stopped and looked at his wife.

"Yeah, what is it?" Mulder said as he looked down at his wife. Scully laid on her husband, obviously still upset.

"What if we don't get Storm back," Scully spoke with an obvious hurt tone to her voice. Mulder stopped and sat back against the couch. He didn't think of that possibility, and didn't want to accept that could easily be a reality of theirs. Scully rubbed her husband's arm.

"I… I don't know," Mulder spoke softly. He had high hopes his daughter would be returned to them, but he knew his wife was right. There was a possibility that Storm wouldn't be returned to them. Mulder really did not want to lose the family he created.

Scully laid on her husband and sighed. Mulder held his wife close and stared off into space. The woman looked up at her husband, and knew his was upset, and didn't want to show it.

"Fox, I love you so much. I don't want anything to happen to us," Scully spoke softly, trying to let her husband know how she felt. Mulder stopped and looked at his wife. Scully was softly crying again.

"Nothing will happen to us. I married you, I don't plan on letting you go. We've been through everything. We'll get Storm back," Mulder smiled at his wife. Scully nodded at her husband as she cuddled him. Mulder gently kissed his wife deeply.

"Hey I'm back," Maggie spoke as she walked into the house. Mulder pulled away from his wife, and got off the couch to go help his mother-in-law. Maggie smiled as Mulder walked up to her and helped her with the bags.

"Thanks Fox," Maggie smiled at Mulder. Mulder grinned at his mother-in-law and walked back into the kitchen. Scully got off the couch and smiled as she walked with her mother. Maggie looked back at Scully and noticed she was crying again.

"Dana, are you okay?" Maggie asked her daughter softly. Scully nodded and wiped her eyes. Mulder watched the girls as he pulled the food out of the bags.

"Yeah, I'm just scared," Scully spoke softly. Maggie smiled as she hugged her daughter tightly before walking over to the table and helping Mulder with the food. Scully walked over to the table with her family and sat down at it. The woman looked over to where her daughter usually sat and sighed. She hoped Storm would be home soon.
