Scully was up early the next morning trying to make coffee for her and her husband. It has been almost a week since her daughter got kidnapped from her bedroom. The woman tried her hardest to keep her life normal for that last week but it's been rough. Soon Mulder walked down the stairs and looked at his wife.

"Morning Mulder," Scully spoke softly. Mulder smiled as he walked over to Scully and hugged her tightly. Scully sighed and leaned into her husband, enjoying the comfort he was trying to give her. Mulder looked down at his wife and brushed her hair out of her eyes.

Suddenly the phone started ringing, interrupting the couple. Scully sighed as she had to pull away from her husband, and grabbed the phone. Mulder smiled as he walked into the kitchen, grabbed two coffee cups, and poured some coffee for him and his wife.

"Hello. Yeah that's me. Who am I talking to?" Scully asked as she picked up the phone. Mulder smiled as he handed his wife a cup of coffee.

"I'm sorry. Can you repeat that? Yeah, where at?" Scully asked frantically. Mullder looked at his wife, trying to figure out who she was talking to. Scully set down her cup of coffee and nodded.

"We will be there as soon as we can. Okay bye," Scully quickly slammed the phone down and looked up at her husband. Mulder gave his wife a confused look.

"They found her Mulder. They found Storm," Scully sputtered as she walked to the entryway and quickly started to put on her coat and shoes. Mulder quickly set down his coffee and followed his wife.

"Where did they find her? Who found her?" Mulder asked as he grabbed his coat and followed his wife out to her car. Scully stopped and smiled at her husband.

"She was just sitting right outside the doors of the emergency room at the hospital. Come on, I wanna see her," Scully spoke as she climbed into the car. Mulder grinned and quickly got into the car with his wife. The older woman quickly started the car and drove away quickly.

A few hours later Storm slowly woke up from her sedation. The toddler was super groggy and wiggled trying to figure out where she was at. She felt a hand brush her hair out of her eyes as she moved around. Everything Storm looked at was blurry.

"Mulder," Scully spoke softly as she tried to get her husband's attention. Mulder looked up from the book he was reading to see his daughter waking up. The older man quickly set his book down and scooted close to the hospital bed.

"Hi sweetheart," Scully spoke softly as Storm looked around. The toddler recognized her mother's voice, but her eyes weren't able to adjust for her to see anything. Mulder smiled as he handed Storm her stuffed fox and watched her. Storm took the fox and held it close. Soon a knock came from the door before it opened.

"How is she?" A doctor spoke softly in case Storm was still sedated. Scully sat up and looked at the doctor. Storm rubbed her eyes trying to get them to focus.

"She's slowly waking up Dr. Rodgers. She seems to be okay. How do her lab results look," Scully asked as she looked up at the doctor. Mulder was still focused on his daughter, trying to calm her down as she moved around.

"She has a very high white blood cell count, but no signs of any sort of infection. Everything seems to be normal physically. We'll probably keep her overnight for observation and to make sure she's coming off the sedative well. When we tried to draw blood she screamed like we were trying to murder her," Dr. Rodgers explained. Scully looked down at her daughter and smiled. She had no idea the horrors her child endured over that last week.

"May I examine her?" Dr. Rodgers asked hopefully. Scully nodded as the doctor approached her daughter. The doctor listened to Storm's lungs and heart before checking out her eyes since he noticed Storm rubbing at them. He flashed a light in Storm's eyes with very little reaction from Storm, but he noticed her eyes were goopy.

"I'll be right back. We're going to try to clean her eyes out," the doctor explained to Mulder and Scully. Mulder nodded and smiled at the doctor as he left the room. Scully returned her focus to her daughter and watched her. Storm was laying on her back, staring off into nothing. Soon the doctor returned and had a nurse with him.

"Dana, do you want to sit on the bed and hold Storm so she's sitting upright?" Dr. Rodgers asked with a smile. Scully looked over at Mulder looking for his approval. Mulder grinned and nodded knowing his wife needed the comfort of holding their daughter again. The woman smiled as she climbed onto the bed with her daughter.

"Hi Storm,"Scully spoke softly as she picked up her daughter and sat her on her lap. Storm laid back against her mother. Mulder smiled as he placed one of his hands underneath his daughter's hands. Storm felt her father's hand and quickly grabbed onto it.

"Storm. The nice doctor is going to clean your eyes out. I'm right here, I won't let anything happen to you," Scully spoke softly as she held her daughter close. Storm laid on her mother and remained quiet as the doctor soon was wiping her eyes off with a warm washcloth.

"Good job Stormy," Mulder grinned as his daughter sat still and didn't fuss. The doctor watched Storm as he gave her some eye drops to help try to clean the goop off. Storm quickly tightened her grip on her father's hand. The doctor rinsed Storm's eyes out one last time and wiped them up.

"Let's see if you're doing better now that we've cleaned your eyes up," Dr. Rodgers spoke softly as he shined a light back into Storm's eyes. When he saw the toddler's pupils dilate like they were supposed to, he sat back and smiled. The nurse collected all the cleaning items and quickly left the room.

Storm blinked a couple times as her vision came back into focus. The toddler quickly looked around the room and saw her parents for the first time in almost a week. Mulder grinned at his daughter as he saw her looking at him.

"Hi Stormy," Mulder grinned at his daughter. Storm reached out for her father wanting to be held by him. Mulder gently took his daughter from his wife and held her close. Storm cuddled up to her father happily, finally feeling safe.

"I'll leave you guys be. If you need anything at all, hit that call light, and someone will be with you shortly," Dr. Rodgers smiled as he left the room. Storm looked around as she chewed on her hand. Mulder gently removed his daughter's hand from her mouth and kissed her. Scully laid back on the bed and watched her family.

When Storm finally saw her mother, she squirmed around trying to get out of her father's grip. Mulder shushed his daughter before handing Storm over to his wife. The toddler quickly cuddled up to her mother and yawned. Scully laid on her side and held her daughter close. Storm snuggled into her mother and slowly fell asleep.

"Look Mulder. I have my baby back," Scully spoke happily. Mulder smiled as he sat close to his family. As Storm slept soundly for the first time in a week, Scully watched her closely. Mulder rubbed his daughter's back and felt Storm relax from his touches. The older woman yawned, and soon fell asleep with her daughter.

The next day Scully was carrying her daughter back into their house. Storm was holding onto her mother tightly as the family walked back inside the house. Mulder smiled as he followed the girls.

"We're home Stormy," Scully spoke softly as she set her daughter down on the floor in the living room. Storm looked around before looking back at her mother. Scully smiled as she sat on the floor with her daughter. Mulder soon walked into the living room and sat on the couch near his family.

Storm looked around at her parents as they watched her. The toddler looked at the TV and pointed at it. Mulder smiled as he turned on some cartoons for his daughter. Storm mumbled very softly as she watched the TV. Scully smiled at her husband as she heard her daughter finally start to talk.

Storm slowly stood up and waddled over to her mother. Scully smiled as she watched her daughter. Storm grabbed onto her mother's shirt and laid on her as she tried to watch TV. Scully smiled as she held her daughter close. The woman gently kissed her daughter.

Storm looked over at her mother and placed her hands on her mother's face. Scully smiled at her daughter as Storm touched her mother's face. Mulder smiled as he opened a bag of sunflower seeds and started to chew on them as he watched TV.

"Stormy, I love you," Scully spoke softly. Storm mumbled a bit louder as she played with her mother's necklace. The older woman smiled as her daughter was becoming more relaxed and comfortable around her parents. Soon Storm looked over at her father.

"Hi Storm," Mulder grinned at his daughter. Storm smiled as she hugged her mother while looking at her father. Scully smiled at her daughter, just happy she was home safe and sound. Mulder leaned down and brushed his daughter's hair out of her eyes. Storm flinched slightly and grabbed at her mother.

"Hey it's okay. Daddy isn't going to hurt you," Scully spoke softly as she looked at her daughter. Storm mumbled as she slowly looked back at her father. Mulder slowly sat on the floor next to his wife and daughter, trying not to startle Storm again.

"Hi Storm, can I have a hug?" Mulder asked hopefully as he reached for his daughter. Storm nodded as she slowly pulled away from her mother and climbed into her father's arms. Mulder held his daughter tightly and snuggled with her as he held her. Storm whined and looked back at her mother.

Scully rubbed her daughter's back as her husband held Storm closely. The couple had no idea what their daughter went through, or what she experienced over the last week. Scully knew that her and Mulder had a lot of work ahead of them, making sure their daughter wasn't traumatized from her abduction.

Fourteen years later, Storm was fast asleep in her bed. The teenager groaned and turned in her bed as she was having a nightmare. Storm was having flashbacks from when she was abducted. The teenager cried out loudly, trying to wake up.

Scully quickly opened the door to her daughter's room and walked over to her bed. The older woman shook her daughter, trying to wake her up. Soon Storm grabbed at the bed as she was woken up. The teenager looked around her dark room, as she was drenched in sweat.

"Hey, hey, are you okay?" Scully spoke softly. Storm nodded as she sat up. Scully brushed her daughter's hair out of her eyes as Storm tried to dry her face off. Mulder knocked on the doorframe as he walked into Storm's bedroom.

"Storm, can you talk to me? What happened," Scully spoke softly. Storm shook her head and looked up at her father. Mulder sat down on the bed next to his daughter and handed her some pill bottles. Storm looked away from her father.

"Storm, did you have another nightmare?" Mulder asked firmly. Storm slowly nodded her head. Scully sighed and looked at her daughter. The teenager tried to look away from her parents. Mulder slowly got off the bed, and let his wife sit next to her daughter.

"I'm fine Mom," Storm grumbled as her mother sat next to her. Mulder handed his wife a bottle of water and crossed his arms. Scully rubbed her daughter's back.

"Storm. You need to take your meds. I know you don't like them, but they help with the nightmares," Scully explained. Storm grumbled as she opened her pill bottles, and shook out some meds. Scully opened the bottle of water and handed it to her daughter.

"Thanks," Storm mumbled as she took the water from her mother, and took her meds. Scully held her daughter close and kissed her on the side of her head. Mulder smiled softly as he took the water and meds from his daughter. The teen soon grumbled and wiped her eyes, trying to hide the fact she was crying.

"I'm going back to bed. See you in a bit, okay Scully?" Mulder spoke to his wife. Scully nodded as her husband left the room. Storm was looking away from her mother. Scully slowly tried to get her daughter to lay back down in bed.

"Mom stop," Storm grumbled at her mother. Scully sighed and looked at her daughter. Every so often Storm became extremely mood around her parents. This was one of those times.

"Stormy, come cuddle with me," Scully tried to encourage her daughter. Storm sighed as she turned so she was facing her mother. Scully smiled as she pulled her daughter into her arms and held her close.

"Mom. Will the nightmares stop?" Storm asked quietly. Storm smiled down at her daughter and kissed her gently. The teenager cuddled up trying to get closer to her mother. Scully smiled at her daughter.

"Storm. Will you tell me what the nightmares are about?" Scully pushed gently. Storm sighed and cuddled up close to her mother. Scully looked down at her mother.

"Um. I'm in some sort of hospital room, and some guys are experimenting on me. It hurts a lot, but I can't scream or call out, and all I want is you Mom, but they won't let me see you," Storm mumbled, trying not to cry. Scully looked at her daughter and brushed her hair out of her eyes.

"Storm, I won't ever let anything ever happen to you. Do you understand? I will always be able to protect you, don't worry," Scully smiled at her daughter. Storm nodded as she laid against her mother. Scully smiled and rubbed her daughter's back as she slowly fell asleep. The older woman slowly laid back and let her daughter hold onto her as she slept. Soon Mulder returned to the bedroom to check on his wife and daughter.

"Hey, how is she?" Mulder spoke softly. Scully gave her husband a small smile as she slowly slid out of bed, trying not to wake her daughter. Mulder smiled as his wife walked over to him. Scully hugged her husband close to her.

"She's having flashbacks from when she was abducted, Mulder. That's what her nightmares are about," Scully spoke softly as she talked to her husband. Mulder looked over to his daughter and sighed. He and his wife tried so hard to protect their daughter from their work, but it seems like she got caught up in it as well.

"Come on Scully. Let's try to get some sleep," Mulder spoke to his wife quietly. Scully nodded as she took one more look over at her daughter before following her husband to their bedroom. Storm mumbled softly as she slept soundly, sedated by the medications she was supposed to take. Still very unaware of the horrors that took place in her past.
