6. The Rock vs Ken Shamrock vs Mankind in a Triple threat Steel Cage match to determine the #1 contender to the WWF Championship.
7. Val Venis w/Terri Runnels vs Dustin Runnels in a singles match.
8. D-Generation X vs Jeff Jarrett and Southern Justice in a six-man tag team match.
9. Stone Cold Steve Austin (c) vs the Undertaker vs Kane vs the Bladewolf in a fatal 4-Way match for the WWF Championship. (The Undertaker, Bladewolf and Kane are barred from pinning each other. If anyone interferes on Austin's behalf, Austin would immediately be stripped of the title)
WWF Breakdown: In Your House at the Copps Coliseum in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. efore the event officially began, three matches were taped for Sunday Night Heat. Golga defeated Mosh, The Hardy Boyz (Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy) defeated Kaientai (Men's Teioh and Funaki), and The Disciples of Apocalypse (8-Ball and Skull) defeated Billy Gunn in a Handicap match.
The first match of the event was between Edge and Owen Hart. Edge gained the early advantage after a dropkick. After Edge sent Hart outside the ring, Edge attempted a move from the apron, which Hart countered into a powerslam. Hart gained the advantage afterwards until Edge performed an electric chair facebuster as Hart climbed the turnbuckles to regain the advantage. Hart eventually countered a suplex attempt into a bridging German suplex. Hart then missed an attack in the corner, and Edge attempted a superplex. Hart countered it into an inverted suplex slam from the turnbuckles. Hart then attempted the Sharpshooter, which Edge countered into a small package. After performing a spinning heel kick, Edge saw the debuting Christian at ringside. This distraction allowed Hart to pin Edge with a roll-up. After the match, Edge followed Christian into the crowd.
The second match was between Too Much (Brian Christopher and Scott Taylor), and Al Snow and Scorpio. After going back and forth, Taylor performed a pumphandle suplex. Snow and Christopher tagged in, and Snow delivered trapping headbutts. Scorpio and Taylor tagged in. As Scorpio delivered corner clotheslines, as Snow threw a steel chair into the ring. With Scorpio distracting the referee, Snow performed a calf kick with the chair. Scorpio then performed a dropkick with the chair to Christopher into Taylor. As Scorpio performed a splash to Taylor, Snow performed a moonsault on the outside from the security wall onto Christopher. As Scorpio was on the top turnbuckle, Christopher tripped him, and performed a suplex on the outside. Taylor followed with a springboard axe handle. Back inside, Too Much performed a back body drop, and Christopher performed a bulldog to Scorpio. Scorpio then countered a back body drop from Too Much into a double dropkick. Snow tagged in, and, as Scorpio distracted the referee, attacked Too Much with his mannequin head, also accidentally hitting Scorpio. Snow then performed a low blow to Taylor with the head. Christopher performed a Tennessee Jam onto Snow, Scorpio performed a flying clothesline to Christopher, and Snow finally pinned Taylor after a Snow Plow.
The third match was between Marc Mero (accompanied by Jacqueline) and Droz. Mero had the early advantage with punches and kicks. Droz came back with a flapjack and a dropkick. Mero left the ring and looked to leave as Droz came after him and attacked Mero with the guard rail and ringsteps. Back in the ring, Mero performed a knee lift, but Droz performed a flying shoulder block and a clothesline. Mero then performed a back body drop, sending Droz outside the ring. Mero followed with a suicide senton. Back inside, Droz blocked a slingshot splash attempt with his knees, and followed with a flying spinning back elbow, an inverted atomic drop, and a powerslam. As Droz went for the pin, Jacqueline placed Mero's foot on the bottom rope, stopping the count. Mero then came back with a clothesline, and choked Droz with the athletic tape around his wrist. Mero then distracted the referee as Jacqueline hit Droz with the heel of her shoe from the top rope. Mero then pinned Droz after a Marvelocity.
The fourth match was a Falls Count Anywhere match between Vader and Bradshaw. Bradshaw gained the early advantage with attacks in the corner until Vader performed a clothesline, and a big splash. Bradshaw fought back with a big boot, and performed a clothesline, sending Vader outside the ring. Outside, Bradshaw attacked Vader with the ringpost and the ringbell, but Vader fought back using the ringsteps. Back inside the ring, Bradshaw performed attacks in the corner, and a belly to back suplex. Vader then sent Bradshaw outside the ring, where Vader attacked Bradshaw using the guard rail, and delivered a low blow. Back inside, Vader performed a splash from the second rope, and a Vader Splash. Bradshaw fought back, performing a Clothesline from Hell, and pinned Vader after a neckbreaker slam.
The fifth match was between D'Lo Brown and Gangrel. The match went back and forth until Brown performed a low blow, and a running sitout powerbomb. Brown kept the advantage until Gangrel performed a flapjack onto the ropes. Mark Henry then came down to ringside as Gangrel performed a back body drop, and a flying clothesline. As Gangrel ran at the ropes, Henry pulled down the ropes, sending Gangrel outside the ring. Brown distracted the referee as Henry sent Gangrel into the ringpost, and back into the ring. Brown then pinned Gangrel after a Sky High. After the match, Gangrel spat "blood" into Henry's face, attacked Brown, and performed an Impaler on Brown.
The sixth match was a Triple Threat match in a steel cage between Ken Shamrock, Mankind and The Rock. The match went back and forth between all three, and each was double-teamed. As Mankind and Shamrock double-teamed The Rock, The Rock fought back with a DDT to Mankind and a float-over DDT to Shamrock. The Rock then performed a scoop slam and a People's Elbow to both before climbing the cage. Mankind and Shamrock stopped, and attacked The Rock. The Rock then performed a low blow to Shamrock, and a Rock Bottom to Mankind. Shamrock fought back with a belly to belly suplex, and applied the ankle lock. Mankind stopped Shamrock and climbed to the top of the cage. The Rock followed but Mankind threw him off. Mankind then performed a diving elbow drop from the top of the cage, but The Rock avoided it. Shamrock then attempted to climb out the door, but Mankind held onto his leg. Shamrock brought a chair into the ring, and attempted to hit Mankind. Mankind avoided it, performed a double-arm DDT on Shamrock, and hit him with the chair. As Mankind climbed the cage, The Rock pinned Shamrock to win the match, and become the number-one contender to the WWF Championship.
The seventh match was between Dustin Runnels and Val Venis (accompanied by Terri Runnels). Venis performed a spinebuster, but Runnels came back with a powerbomb. Venis knocked Runnels outside and attacked Runnels. As they re-entered the ring, Runnels performed a back body drop, but Venis fought back with a Russian legsweep, and applied the camel clutch. Runnels blocked a suplex into his own suplex, but Venis came back with a chinlock. Runnels fought back with a DDT and climbed the turnbuckles, but Venis threw him to the outside. They then went back and forth until Venis performed a powerslam, several elbow drops, and pinned Runnels after a Money Shot.
The eighth match was between Jeff Jarrett and Southern Justice (Mark Canterbury and Dennis Knight), and D-Generation X (Billy Gunn, Road Dogg, and X-Pac). Gunn and Dogg attacked Jarrett and Southern Justice from behind during X-Pac's entrance. X-Pac and Jarrett started, with X-Pac countering a hurricanrana attempt into a powerbomb. Road Dogg tagged in, but was dominated by Jarrett and Southern Justice after a cheap shot from Canterbury. X-Pac eventually tagged in after Road Dogg's head hit Jarrett's head. X-Pac was also dominated after Canterbury countered a spinning heel kick into a powerbomb. Jarrett applied the sleeper hold. X-Pac escaped, performed a belly to back suplex, and tagged in Gunn. Gunn fought off Jarrett and Southern Justice, and X-Pac performed the bronco buster on Jarrett. Jarrett tried to bring a guitar into the ring, but Gunn took it from him. The referee stopped Gunn using the guitar, and Southern Justice double-teamed Gunn. Outside, Jarrett hit X-Pac in the head with the guitar, as Gunn pinned Knight after a Fameasser. X-Pac left holding onto his right eye.
Next up is the Main Event for the WWF Championship.
In the arena, Kane's theme played before the pyro went off and out comes Kane to make his entrance first.
"The following contest is the fatal 4-Way match for the World Wrestling federation Championship." Howard Finkel announced. "Introducing the participants. First, weighing 328 lbs... KANE!"
Kane makes it to the ring and climbs over the top rope before he walks to stand in the middle of the ring, raises his arms and then throws them down to make fire explode from the turnbuckles. Kane's theme dies down and the lights go to normal as Kane waits.
OOOOOOWHOOOOOO!
The Devil's Wolf plays and the lights dim to a mix of blood red and dark blue before fire explodes on the stage and out comes the Bladewolf with the WWF Intercontinental Championship around his waist.
"From Death Valley, weighing 310 lbs, he is the current World Wrestling Federation Intercontinental Champion... THE BLADEWOLF!" Howard Finkel announced.
Bladewolf makes his way down the walkway towards the ring as he takes off his title and drags it along the floor as he walks. Bladewolf tosses the title into the ring upon reaching the ring apron and steps onto it, climbing over the top rope before taking off his coat and tosses it aside before he hands his title to someone at ringside. Bladewolf's theme dies down and the lights return to normal as Bladewolf and Kane briefly stare each other down before the Undertaker's bell tolls.
The Undertaker's theme plays and the Phenom comes out with a game face, making his way towards the ring. "From Death Valley, weighing 328 lbs... THE UNDERTAKER!" Howard Finkel announced.
Undertaker didn't make it that far too the ring... BEFORE HE WAS ATTACKED FROM BEHIND BY STONE COLD STEVE AUSTIN WITH A STEEL CHAIR! Austin was trying to eliminate one of the brothers so he cam deal with the other two as he keeps attacking the Undertaker, smashing the edge of the chair into Undertaker's stomach before he strikes Kane in the gut, then the same to Bladewolf when they ran up to aid their older brother.
Austin lifts the chair... AND WHACKS KANE IN THE HEAD WITH IT! Austin whirls around... AND GIVES BLADEWOLF THE SAME PUNISHMENT! Bladewolf goes down onto his back as Austin turns his attention to Kane and hammers away on him, driving him to the ring now that he had taken care of two of the brothers for now.
Austin and Kane slug it out as they get closer to the ring before Austin kicks Kane in the stomach and drives him headfirst into the steel ring post, sending Kane down. As Austin continues hurting Kane, the cameraman shows Bladewolf and Undertaker recovering from the chair shots from Austin.
Back at ringside, Austin and Kane end up in the ring and the referee calls for the bell to officially start the match.
'Ding! Ding! Ding!'
Austin grabs Kane by his hair and rams him headfirst into the top turnbuckle before Austin goes for an irish whip off the ropes but Kane reverses it, sending Austin into the ropes. he rebounds and comes running into a elbow from Kane, dropping the WWF Champion. Austin gets to his feet and turns around only to be lifted up and given a powerslam by Kane, who then starts going to the top rope as Austin gets to his feet. Kane leaps but Austin moves out of the way to avoid it. Austin stomps on Kane.
Bladewolf and Undertaker, who is holding Austin's chair, are seen coming down towards the ring after recovering from Austin's assault.
Austin chokes Kane on the middle rope before he rebounds off the ropes and does a running knee to the back of Kane. Austin grabs Kane and goes for an Irish whip but Kane reverses it and sends Austin over the top rope and down to the floor, right at the feet of Bladewolf and the Undertaker. Austin gets to his feet but gets an uppercut from undertaker, who gets a boot to the chest from Bladewolf, knocking Austin against the apron. Bladewolf grabs Austin and launches him into the barricade back-first. Bladewolf stomps on Austin several times before he allows Undertaker to get his shots in.
Undertaker pulls Austin to his feet before delivering a headbutt to him, and Bladewolf lands a hard right to Austin's jaw, sending the Texas Rattlesnake stumbling. Undertaker grabs Austin and goes for an irish whip but Austin reverses it and sends Undertaker into the steel steps hard. Austin didn't get a chance to recover before Bladewolf clobbers him from behind and drives his knees repeatedly into Austin's side. Bladewolf grabs Austin and looks at the steel ring post and goes to drive Austin's head into it but Austin elbows the Demon Wolf in the stomach... AND RAMS BLADEWOLF'S SKULL INTO THE RING POST!
Bladewolf goes down hard as Austin takes a chance to recover before he slides into the ring as kane is coming and the two fight again while Bladewolf and Undertaker are down outside the ring.
Austin runs and clotheslines kane down before grabbing his left leg and drags him over to the ring post he smacked Bladewolf's head off and gets out the ring... THEN RAMS KANE'S LEFT LEG INTO THE RING POST! Austin then grabs both of Kane's ankles and makes them sit on either side of the ring post... BEFORE HE PULLS KANE CROTCH-FIRST INTO THE METAL RING POST!
Austin does this a second time before he pulls Kane's upper body halfway out onto the ring apron and brings his elbow down on Kane's chest. Austin rolls into the ring as Kane gets to a knee. Austin pulls Kane to his feet, Irish whips Kane into the ropes and kicks Kane in the stomach when he runs back... AND NAILS THE STONE COLD STUNNER! AUSTIN COVERS KANE! ONE! TWO! THR-! UNDERTAKER DRAGS AUSTIN OUT THE RING!
Undertaker sends Austin shoulder-first into the steel ring post before he tosses Austin back into the ring as Bladewolf gets to his feet, flipping his hair back and he rolls in after Austin, hammering away with hard right hands to the head, causing Austin to cover up as Undertaker gets into the ring. Bladewolf gets off Austin, allowing Undertaker to pull Austin to his feet and drive him head-first into the top turnbuckle in a corner. Undertaker then unloads on Austin with a fury of lefts and rights into Austin's stomach
Undertaker then starts choking Austin in the corner as Bladewolf watches, tilting his head. Undertaker then Irish whips Austin into the opposite corner, runs for a turnbuckle clothesline but Austin elbows him in the face. Austin kicks Bladewolf in the stomach when the younger brother came at him and he clotheslines the Demon Wolf down before focusing on Undertaker as Bladewolf sits up right away and gets to his feet.
Austin Irish whips Undertaker, who ducks a right from Austin, rebounds off the ropes and hits a leaping clothesline on the WWF Champion. Bladewolf rebounds off the ropes and hits a running elbow drop, then rebounds again and hits a running leg drop across the throat of Austin. Bladewolf gets off Austin as Undertaker pulls him to his feet but Austin starts fighting back as he fights off Undertaker and Bladewolf before he shoves Bladewolf into the corner, ducks a right from Undertaker, rebounds off the ropes... AND TAKES HIM DOWN WITH THE LOU THEZ PREZ!
Austin runs for the ropes, clotheslining Bladewolf over the top of them but Bladewolf lands on his feet as Austin runs and hits an elbow to the chest of the Undertaker, then clotheslines Kane over the top rope but Kane lands on his feet just like his brother. Austin turns around into an uppercut from Undertaker that floors Austin.
Undertaker punches Austin before he Irish whips him and bends down to propel him into the air but Austin counters it into a neckbreaker on the Undertaker. Austin goes for the cover but Undertaker kicks out at two. Austin gets to his feet and runs, knocking Bladewolf off the ring apron when he saw the Demon Wolf was getting onto it, then did the same to Kane. he had to keep two of the thee brothers down so he can focus on the third.
Austin pulls Undertaker to his feet, Irish whips him but Undertaker reverses it and Austin hits the ropes only to be dragged out by Kane and the Bladewolf who were now working together as they pulled Austin out the ring and start mauling Austin. Bladewolf brings a forearm down on Austin's back, then Kane drives his right fist into Austin's ribs. Bladewolf drives his knee into Austin's stomach then gives him an uppercut.
Austin tries fighting back as he kicks Bladewolf in the stomach but Kane clobbers him from behind then pulls him to his feet as Undertaker runs to clothesline Austin but the WWF Champion ducks and Undertaker strikes Kane instead! Undertaker and Kane stare each other down as Kane didn't know if that was intentional or not. Austin sneaks away from the two and sends Bladewolf shoulder-first into the ring post before he runs and shoves Undertaker into Kane!
Austin grabs some TV cables and wraps them around Kane's neck in an attempt to choke him. Undertaker grabs some cables and wraps them around Austin's neck and chokes him.
Bladewolf come sup and drives his boot into Austin's side repeatedly until Austin lets go of the cable choking Kane. Bladewolf then grabs Austin after Undertaker releases him and drags him over to the announce tables before he holds Austin close... AND HITS A BELLY-TO-BELLY ONTO THE SPANISH ANNOUNCE TABLE!
Bladewolf flips his hair back after getting to his feet before he walks around the table, shoving people aside as he grabs Austin and tosses him over the table at the feet of Kane and the Undertaker. grabbing Austin, undertaker and Kane lift him up... AND DROP HIM ONTO THE ANNOUNCE TABLE FACE-FIRST!
Undertaker leans Austin against the barricade and hits a close clothesline, then steps back and allows Kane to hit the same move, and Bladewolf does the same before he punches Austin in the face, then sets him straight before landing a hard right hand to Austin's jaw, then kicks Austin in the stomach before backing off, flipping his hair back as Austin falls down. The three brothers take turns stomping on Austin before they toss him back into the ring and slide in after him. Austin is crawling away into the corner as he tries to gain a second breath.
Trapped in the corner, the three brothers pounce and they start beating on Austin, punching, kicking and stomping on the WWF Champion. Bladewolf looks at the stage set up to see Pat Patterson, Gerald Briscoe and Sgt. Slaughter watching the match.
The Brothers of Destruction continue to have their way with Austin as one holds him down, allowing the other two to stomp on him or punch him. They take turns beating on Austin and even try to outdo one another in doing what the other did but doing it better.
The action has ow spilled to halfway up the walkway as the brothers continue to torture Austin, stomping on him or tossing him into the steel guard railing, not allowing the WWF Champion to have any chance of recovering no matter what. Austin crawls away, trying to regain his control in the match but the brothers are following as Austin gets to his feet. Undertaker grabs him, going for a right hand but Austin blocks it and punches Undertaker, then punches Bladewolf, then boots Kane and he repeats as he fights off the three brothers.
Austin goes for a Piledriver on the Undertaker but Bladewolf clotheslines him and presses his boot down on Austin's neck, choking him out as Kane and Undertaker stomp on Austin's stomach and ribs before Bladewolf lifts his boot and then drops an elbow to the chest of Austin.
Austin stumbles to his feet away from the brothers before he lunges at the stooges, taking down Briscoe and hammers away on him before Kane pulls him off and punches him across the face. Bladewolf and Undertaker grab Austin and start dragging him as the stooges head backstage from the action. Kane lifts Austin up by the legs and the three brothers take Austin towards the ring.
Upon reaching ringside, the brothers drop Austin and Undertaker rams the WWF Champion into the steel steps, then rams his head into the steps. Undertaker and Kane throws Austin into the ring to continue the punishment while Bladewolf looks underneath the ring for something and grabs the black baseball bat he's used before and looks it over before he looks into the ring to see Undertaker attempting a pin but Kane stops it, showing dissention. Bladewolf drops the bat and picks up a steel chair, slides into the ring... AND WHACKS UNDERTAKER IN THE BACK!
Bladewolf then raises the chair... AND SMACKS KANE IN THE SKULL WITH IT! The crowd is cheering as Bladewolf repeatedly hits Undertaker and Kane, back and fourth as he wanted to be WWF Champion again and will not let his brothers get in the way of that, to hell with the rule that he couldn't pin them, he'll make sure they are out of the way so he can finish off Austin.
Bladewolf tosses the chair out the ring before he boots Austin down, then he grabs Kane and sends him into the corner before running and drives his shoulder into Kane's stomach hard. Bladewolf backs up, then whirls around and grabs undertaker around the head... AND HITS THE DDT! Bladewolf gets to his feet and walks over to Austin, hooking the leg. ONE! TWO! THRE-! KANE STOPS THE PIN!
Bladewolf gets to his feet and turns into an uppercut from Kane. Bladewolf boots Kane in the stomach, then uppercuts Kane to make his brother stumble back before Bladewolf floors him with a clothesline. Bladewolf pulls Kane to his feet and hammers away on him when Undertaker attacks his brother from behind and now Undertaker and Kane are starting to punish their little brother when Austin, chair in hand... SMACKS UNDERTAKER IN THE BACK!
Bladewolf tackles Kane down and hammers away on his brother before getting off and backs off as now all four men are facing each other. Bladewolf and Austin staring down Undertaker and Kane. they then start fighting, Bladewolf with Undertaker, Austin with Kane. Bladeowlf unloads on Undertaker with a fury of rights to the forehead of the Phenom, then clotheslines him over the top rope as Austin takes Kane down with a Russian leg sweep. Bladewolf rebounds off the ropes and hits a leg drop across Kane's throat.
Bladewolf and Austin look at each other before they start stomping away on Kane several times before they pull him to his feet, Irish whip him off the ropes but he stops himself at the other ropes only for Austin and Bladewolf to run and double clothesline Kane over the top rope, sending the Big Red Monster to the floor.
Bladewolf and Austin then look at each other and the crowd starts cheering loudly. This is what they wanted to see, they've wanted to see this rematch happen since Unforgiven where Bladewolf lost the title to Austin.
Bladewolf and Austin then start slugging it out as they exchange right punches with each other until Bladewolf scoops Austin up onto his right shoulder but Austin fights back as he wiggles then elbows Bladewolf in the side of the head multiple times before he slides off, turns bladewolf around, kicks him in the stomach... AND HITS THE STUNNER! HE HOOKS THE LEG! ONE! TWO! THRE-! BLADEWOLF KICKS OUT!
Austin gets to his feet and stomps away on Bladewolf before flipping him off then gives him another stomp. Austin rebounds off the ropes and hits the running elbow drop on Bladewolf's chest, hooking the leg for the pin but Undertaker and Kane break it up at two and Bladewolf takes the chance to roll out the ring as Undertaker and Kane beat down on Austin but then they end up fighting each other.
Bladewolf gets to his feet and sees Undertaker and Kane grabbing Austin by the throat. He slides into the ring as they lift hin up... AND NAILS THE DOUBLE CHOKESLAM AS BLADEWOLF SOMEHOW HITS A SPEAR ON ALL THREE MEN AT THE SAME TIME! Undertaker and Kane manage to hook one of Austin's legs while Bladewolf holds his shoulders down! ONE! TWO! THREE! IT'S OVER! AUSTIN HAS LOST THE WWF TITLE! BUT WHO IS THE CHAMPION?!
'Ding! Ding! Ding!'
Bladewolf gets to his feet and leans on the ropes, flipping his hair back. Bladewolf shakes his head and exits the ring as Briscoe snatches the belt and brings it to Vince on the Chairman's orders. Bladewolf stands at the entrance and watches Vince hold the title up, clearly bragging about getting the title away from Austin.
Vince backs up until he bumps into someone's chest and he turns to see Bladewolf standing there and he wasn't happy. Bladewolf tilts his head before he clobbers Vince in the face, then clobbers Slaughter then Patterson. Bladewolf picks up the title when Austin runs up and attacks him. Bladewolf and Austin start slugging it out and end up backstage while a confused Kane and Undertaker are left in the ring as WWF Breakdown goes off the air...
Yeah, Bladewolf ain't gonna care about protecting Vince, he just wants the WWF title and since he didn't get it, then to hell with protecting McMahon.
