Wishworld, France
In an apartment in Paris, Marine and Médard were getting into their pajamas and were feeling horrified, because their babysitter, Abelia, was going to be over. The twins didn't like her because she was a terrible babysitter. She was lazy, gave them cheap meals, and ignored their feelings. "If only we had the nerve to tell Mere and Pere the truth," Marine cried.
"We can't," Medard replied to his sister sadly. "They said never to judge people without getting to know them, but we did got to know her."
"We don't like the new babysitter," Marine recalled, "but you know how our parents are. They're so busy running night shifts at a grocery store, they never notice."
"Children!" shouted their mother. "Abelia is here!"
In horror, they wondered if they'd ever get a nicer babysitter.

Starling Academy, Pia's Room
Alesha and Vivian were coming back from a shopping trip when, when they spotted Pia going around in circles. "Calm down, Pia," Vivian assured. "What in Starland is going on?"
"I invited the Star Darlings Fan Club to check out the place of their origin," Pia explained, "but they're gone!"
"Where was the last time you saw them?" Alesha asked.
"In the art department," Pia explained. "But after I stopped to help Maria find new paintbrushed, they disappeared. Lady Stella and my grandmother don't know that the fan club is visiting. I know that I can't overdue it on the invites, but I don't want to cause a fan riot."
Suddenly, they got a message from Libby. Vivian declared, "Fan club is going to have to wait."
Whe they got to the music room, Libby explained that French 6-year-old twins Marine and Medard were both having a hard time telling their overworked parents about their horrible babysitter Abelia. "Horriblescope tampered with the babysitting services," Libby explained. "She saw that Abelia wanted another job with a high pay. The O'Mickey's she worked at wasn't giving her enough pay and she recently got fired for insulting the local scout troop during their fundraiser. Your mission, if you chose to accept it: let Marine and Medard let their family know how they feel."
"What will be doing on Wishworld?" Vivian asked.
"You girls will pose as temporary grocerer's/delivery women," Libby continued. "And don't worry - I know about Pia's fan club troubles. I'll try to get them out of the picture before your grandmother and/or Lady Stella find out."
Pia smiled.
Wishworld, Paris
On Earth, they arrived at the Blooming Breeze Grocery Store. Alesha, Pia, and Vivian were all dressed as grocerers. While they were going around, they spotted a bulletin board filled with concert promotions, sign-ups for cooking classes, and job openings. Sadly, there wasn't one for a babysitter job. Suddenly, their Star-Coms glew. "How are the fans?" Pia asked. "And is there any sign of Lady Stella?"
"They're fine," Libby answered. "They were in the garden, making new shirts. Also, I've found a file on the real babysitter."
They showed a picture of a proper girl. "This is Maeva, a 19-year-old startastic college student who is looking for a part time job to pay for new supplies," Libby explained.
"School is important," recalled Alesha, "and we need enough supplies to last us one full year."
"But what could've gone wrong?" Vivian asked.
"Apparently the cellphone wiring on Wishworld got mixed up thanks to Horriblescope," Libby explained. "She'd insulted the way I dressed on Facetube."
Hearing the name, Alesha, Vivian, and Pia had their spines shook. "Don't worry," Alesha whispered. "We'll find Maeva and explain the misunderstanding."
After they logged out of their communicators, Vivian bumped into a girl wearing proper clothes. It was Maeva. She was looking at the store's bulletin board looking for a job new opening. "My Starpologies," Maeva said. "I'm just anxious to find a new job here."
Looking at each other, Alesha, Pia, and Vivian decided to explain Abella's true nature, the Star Darling way. Remembering the neighborhood watch apps they learned in school, they decided to use their wish magic to create a fake app that shows what's going on in the apartment building that Marine and Médard. On the false app, Maeva could see the mess that Abella made. "I know this apartment building," she said. "I have a few college friends living there, they told me that for a while that one of the apartments has been getting a lot of shouting and crying due to a carless babysitter."
Behind them, Marine and Médard parents could hear everything. The two of them weren't sure about what Maeva was talking about, so they decided to clock out early to check on the kids.
Although Alesha and Vivian were thrilled to find Maeva, Pia had a feeling that there was something familiar about her.

Later, when they arrived to their apartment, they saw the mess that Abelia made. Abelia was sleeping on the job. Unknown to them, Alesha, Pia, and Vivian were spying on them while pretending to deliver groceries. Maeva, on the other hand, believed that she got a last minute text from a friend who lived in the same apartment building as Marine and Medard. "Good thing you're able to cast illusions on people, Viv," Alesha whispered.
"It's strange," Vivian replied. "Ever since we met Horriblescope, we've been getting some strange powers. I'm able to cast illusions since I'm always in the dark."
"Speak for yourself," Pia replied. "I've been capable of breathing underwater and controlling it."
"You think that's weird?" Alesha said as she made a purple fireball. "I've been burning purple a lot."
On the Star-Com, Libby explained that she was in the apartment next door to Marine and Medard, since she had a contact that the building inhabitants are huge Star Darling fans. "There's something else you should know-" Libby continued.
But before she could finish, Alesha cut her off, because the police were on their way. Cautious about the twins, they followed them to the apartment.

Inside, they found that they were arresting Abella. As is turned out, she was a Canadian 30-year-old con artist named Briar Ewart, who passed herself off as a college student trying to land jobs in Paris. "Hey!" she shouted in her natural Canadian accent. "Paris is my dream city, so what else is there to know?"
"Unlike you," Maeva interupted, "my childcare experiences and accent are real."
As the police dragged the phony babysitter off to prison, Vivian saw that Briar left behind her star beret. Vivian tried to grab it, but Pia backed her away because it was glowing. That's when they knew then - Briar's beret was the Fourth Wonder Wish, honesty. "It's not easy telling the truth," Alesha said, "because you never know how the person would react. But sometimes, you don't have a choice but to be honest."
Luckily, Marine and Medard's parents were too busy comforting their children to notice the glowing. As for Maeva, she saw everything, because she was an undercover Starling. With a whip of her hair, it changed from red to shiny gold. "Now I know where I've seen you from," Pia recalled. "You're one of the undercover Wishlings that are members of the Star Darlings Fan Club on Wishworld."
"Oui," Maeva replied. "Lumaeva Brillancedorée, president of the French Star Darlings Club. After graduating from Kaleidoscope City High, I decided to go to Wishworld, to find my destiny."
To avoid suspicion, they decided to go the apartment next door.
When they got there, they saw the fan club with Libby, Lady Stella, and Pia's grandmother, Lady Yasmin. The Star Darlings were shocked to see her. "Yeah," Libby said with embarrassment. "I found the fan club playing around in Lady Stella's office when one of the fans acidentally got knocked out by a hanging plant. We had to take him to the nurse, but unfortunately, the nurse's office was being repainted."
"And because of the repainting," Lady Yasmin finished, "my daughter Maisie decided to relocate here instead."
"I can explain, Granny," Pia said. "They really wanted to meet the Star Darlings in person-"
"We know," Lady Yasmin replied. "We get fans coming to Starling Academy all the time, ever since Sage, Scarlet, Libby, Vega, and Leona made their debut a long time ago."
Alesha, Pia, and Vivian were relieved from all of this.
"Mere, Pere," Marine said in the apartment next door, "we wanted to tell you about Abelia, but we were afraid."
"Oui," Medard continued. "She has been so cruel to us. Whenever we wanted to play, she ignores us on purpose."
"And when we're hungry," Marine finished, "she gives us cheap snacks."
Maeva decided that she should take the job.
After she left to interview Marine and Medard's parents, Alesha and Pia decided to a piano duet, which pleased the fans.
The End
