Before I even decided to do this I've been trying to find a good version of this. Nothing peaked my interest so here I am writing this. Enjoy all!

Christopher was a very simple man living a very simple life. He graduated highschool, went to college and got a job working at a video game company. In his past time he would play video games like any other person. One of these games among them was League of Legends. He played on and off for a few years and took the game as a very casual player. So how did he end up on a Freljord battlefield? Even he couldn't answer that.

Flashback - 1 hour prior

Chris waking up to his annoying alarm was a thing he knew all too well. He neither wanted to get up or stay in bed. Choosing the first option he struggled to life himself outta bed and find something to snack on. Eventually finding the strength to push himself out of bed he walked to the kitchen in his one bedroom apartment and found nothing in the fridge.

"Guess I'll order something for now." Chris quietly spoke to himself finding solace in the fact he had gotten paid the day before. "Uber eats is truly a blessing and curse.."

The man wallowed as his bill total came out to $34.12. Confirming the order he groggily walked over to his computer set and took a seat gazing at his new monitor.

"You costed me an arm and a leg, but man were you worth it!" Chris grinned stroking the piece of equipment. He had received a new email from his post office saying he had a package to pick up because he missed the delivery timing.

"Lazy bastards didn't even knock on my door.." Angry mutters filled the apartment as he decided to get ready for the day with the post office as his first destination.

Ding! The doorbell sounded telling Chris his fine cuisine had arrived. Changing out of his shirt while heading to the door he quietly picked up his breakfast and morning coffee that were placed outside.

Quickly eating his bacon and pancakes Chris made himself like the wind and flew out the door shortly after he was finished. The post office wasn't really worth the drive since it was around the corner of his apartment complex. Which made Chris even wonder if they even came to his area since it was so close. The walk to the post office was uneventful and peaceful. The day was beautiful And the shining sun is a sight to behold.

Arriving at the mailing facility Chris approached the lady standing at the kiosk. "Here to pick up a package?" Chris hesitantly asked.

"Name?"

"Christopher Keiper is what it should be under."

"I.D please." The Asian worker asked while she typed away at the off centered computer. Chris reached into his wallet and pulled his I.D out and swiftly handed it to her. "Please hold." She leaves to the back leaving Chris's I.D on her desk.

"Wonder what the hell I got..." Chris trails off not remembering anything he recently ordered. When the small Asian lady returned she was holding a small rectangular package. The only off that about the situation was she was struggling with the small package. Handing over the package to Christopher was almost a relief to her back and arms. Picking up the package he noticed the weight. It was absurdly heavy for such a small frame.

"Sir! Your I.D!" The Asian lady seemed to almost hop over the kiosk as Chris began to make his way out.

"Thank you.." He managed to huff out as he struggled with the small box. The walk back home was long and hellish.

"My arms are gonna kill me tomorrow.." Placing the box at his feet he unlocked his apartment door and walked inside placing his package on the coffee table. Even the table was constrained under the massive weight of the box.

"Time to find out what the hell I got." Chris nervously began the process of unpacking his item. Inside the box was a cube covered in runes that seemed like they had no place in the natural world.

"Where have I seen these symbols before.." Chris picked up the heavy object and began the inspection of the strange device. Moving and spinning the object almost felt wrong. Like he was holding a doomsday device or something of the sort. Placing it back on the table he looked inside the packaging to see if any other contents lie in the box.

Finding nothing in the box he resumed his gaze upon the box that almost seemed to call him.

"You are a finicky little thing aren't you..." Chris placed his hand under the stubble of his soon-to-be goatee stubble. Chris decided to pick up the heavy box one more time, but upon contact with his hand the box lit like a Christmas tree. A myriad of colors reached and danced in his vision. The only thing he could do was watch the colors spin and spin until the light was too much for him to bear. Shielding his eyes with his forearm he screamed in pain as something felt like they were being etched into his skin. He heard the audible sound of his flesh burning and twisting to accommodate the features that were being added to him.

When the pain was gone and his eyes were adjusting to the light or lack there of he realized that he was no longer in his apartment. Before his eyes could even focus he was met with an ice cold wind that seemed to hiss in his ear as it blew into him. When his vision was finally restored he was met with what seemed to be a cave made entirely of ice. 'Explains the cold'. While moving his arms away from his face he noticed the runes that were on the seared onto his arms. The runes had no magic to them and Chris himself felt no different.

Following the path of the cave he came to a very area in the middle of a very heavy snow storm. Upon exiting the cave he knew that he had no way of surviving the cold if he didn't find a way to warm himself up. After walking a good distance away from the cave entrance he found that he was on a cliff overlooking a valley. He could see that a group of people were gathered below and another group in the distance approaching. What he didn't notice was the battle that was soon to take place between the two groups. Only when he found the cliff he was standing on waver. Cracking and shattering was echoed throughout the whole Valley and soon enough the ice beneath him gave way. His life flashed before his eyes. His mom, father and his 2 brothers. His high school crushed and his college parties and tests. All of it came flashing before his eyes. Finally making peace with himself he closed his eyes and waited for death to claim him. Only it didn't. He managed to land in a snowy area that wasn't hard as steel. Adjusting to his new surroundings sounds of panick and chaos were heard in his ears.

"BREAK THE LINE!" A woman a top a massive boar roared to her soldiers. Panning his eyes to the other group across he noticed they didn't even look remotely human. One of them brushed aside an axe that was thrown it's way and roared with the might only a storm could produce. Cackling lightning and crashing thunder was heard as the human/bear hybrid raised its head to the sky and shouted in defiance to the heavens. A storm manifested itself above striking away the group that was led by the boar lady.

"What the hell is going on?!" Chris' brain tried to make sense of the scene that was before him and he himself almost shut down.It wasn't until a soldier was knocked in front of him did he snap out of his trance.

"Are you okay?" Chris asked the injured woman clutching chest trying to stop the bleeding.

"Help... them.." Her dying words left her mouth as the woman lost any remaining life in her. Chris once again froze in shock unable to process anything that happened. Her weapon lay used right there still held in her other arm. A spear that seemed to resonate with the cold itself. Picking up the weapon his choice was met with immediate regret as ice began to form around his hands and the feeling of hundreds of icy needles penetrated his skin. Just as quickly as the pain came it went away. No longer wincing from the pain his body seemed warmer. Like he and the cold are now one. Looking at his arms the runes inscribed on his body lit with a warm blue that only snowstorms were capable of recreating. While Chris was lost in his own world the fight seemed to settle. The boar lady came out victorious and pushed the hybrids back.

"Maybe I shouldn't go to her.." Chris came to the realization that not all people were friendly and showing up with a spear that belonged to one of her soldiers wouldn't exactly give the best impression. Unfortunately for Christopher, he was already discovered by a scout. Surrounding him were various members of the battle party. Leading them at the front was the helmetless boar lady.

"Who are you?" Sejuani spoke with authority and curiosity in her voice.
